Bobby&Fritz in Ellwangen (Jagst)

Unsalted fries and a cold currywurst. The special offer was only €6.99, but a single currywurst supposedly costs €7.99. When I asked about it, the service was very unfriendly.

Very nice and very friendly and very cheap

It's unbelievable that you dare sell food here with a straight face. The currywurst with fries is on special offer for €6.99. If you order a sandwich instead of fries, you'll pay €8.99. A sausage without sauce costs €6.99, including the sandwich. Mustard costs €0.79. This entire parking lot, including our negative Starbucks experience, cost us over €30. I don't normally write reviews, but when it's truly this bad, I have no choice.

Very tasty currywurst at a fair price. Luckily, it has nothing to do with Serways and is therefore very good.

It was delicious. We had currywurst with fries. Unfortunately, people don't throw their trash in the provided trash can, which is right in front.

Hidden away in a motorway service area and difficult to spot at first glance, Bobby & Fritz in Ellwangen unfortunately doesn't inspire a desire to stop, let alone linger. Upon arrival, the first impression is rather negative: the staff isn't particularly attentive to their presentation, nor are they particularly friendly. This doesn't really inspire confidence even before ordering. Inside, the setting is more or less adequate. It's not welcoming, but the place is relatively clean and a little more pleasant than human contact. However, the exterior is a completely different picture: the floor is littered with trash and cigarette butts, with a strong odor of cigarette butts and urine, which makes the olfactory experience unpleasant, to say the least. The aging facilities give an impression of abandonment, and the faded billboards reinforce this feeling of neglect. Inside, the food is nothing exceptional. It's still decent considering the prices, but don't expect much more than a quick, basic meal to satisfy your hunger. The portions are decent, but the overall experience lacks flavor and presentation. The only real plus point of the place is its easy parking: being located on a motorway service area, finding a spot is a breeze. But unless you're desperately hungry and lacking in alternatives, Bobby & Fritz has few selling points. It's a quick stop, not a place you'll cherish forever.

I'm super disappointed. In mid-May, there's a sign saying it's closed for the winter. Is it really that difficult to Google that? This was my old review: Absolutely delicious - definitely try it. I'll be back.

The snack bar is really good. - I find it astonishing how stupid some people are when they brazenly park in the charging station spaces. 👿

Die Currywurst ist wirklich super lecker ich esse hier wirklich gerne. Problem ist nur dass ihr Ziemlich bescheidene Öffnungszeiten habt... und nur an 3 Tagen generell offen habt. Deswegen von mir nur 3 Sterne

Trotz vieler Kunden war die Dame hinter der Theke sehr freundlich und bemüht. Der Verkaufsstand war sauber und ordentlich.
