As a native of Ellwangen and former employee, I can't imagine this city without Burger King. Let's be honest, it's a fast food joint and generally not particularly healthy food. Even though I rarely visit this location these days, I still prefer a King Fusion to the competition's ice cream.

We ordered takeout from BK today while passing through. Two cheeseburgers, two tortillas, chili cheese fries, king wings, a Coke, and two coffees. We were surprised by the relatively long wait. After 20 minutes, the manager came over and apologized because the order details hadn't been transferred to the kitchen. That alone struck me as disgraceful. We probably should have just kept waiting and said nothing 😅 Then we got a free ice cream 🍦, another apology, and the manager personally brought us the food. It was delicious, by the way 🥳☺️ Really great service there!

The renovations seemed to have been done quite quickly, as my second-to-last visit was only a few weeks ago, and unfortunately, my actual last visit was outside of opening hours. We'll see how this system holds up in the long run. Old review: The food is dependent; sometimes it's good, sometimes not. This BK has finally turned around for the better after unfortunately not being a good place to go for a very long time. One evening in Aalen, there was nothing but chicken, so we had to find another BK, so we stopped by here in Ellwangen again. The ambiance back then was familiar, having been there for a good 20 years or more, but the food was good and the staff very dedicated. So we're coming here more often now, and for a few weeks now, it's been renovated and really clean, just as you'd hope. Full praise for that and the hope that it stays that way. What's less pleasing, hence the star reduction: If you need to go to the bathroom or even just quickly wash your hands because half a burger is still stuck to your fingers, you have to go up a flight of stairs and pay there, as is usual at rest stops, but in this context, it's a bit excessive. You can redeem a receipt, but then you're always forced to consume something else. By the way, you can see the consequences outside in the bushes next to the parking lots. With children, the whole thing is a bit more difficult. So, please make sure your customers have better access to the restrooms; that should be solvable. The opening hours are also a bit of a nuisance. Since the quality here has improved again, I see enough customers to justify longer opening hours. Our neighbor with the golden M is leading the way (including the restroom issue). As soon as there's another decisive step here, the final star will be added, and we'll be happy to come here.

I recently visited this Burger King and was very impressed by the quality of service. Burger King's overall quality is well-known, but here the service in particular made the difference. A young, blonde employee—sorry, I don't know her name—was incredibly friendly and professional. I was there with a small child, and she immediately came over and gave the child a small toy, which was very well received. She also quickly and spontaneously took care of cleaning up messes left behind by less considerate customers. Such a positive and dedicated attitude is rare in such a work environment. I would like to express my gratitude for this outstanding service.

You have to wait for all orders and hand the cash register slip to the cashier yourself because both monitors are out of service. On Saturdays there were only two employees. It's ridiculous that I had to wait 20 minutes for my order. Of the four ordering machines only one was in operation.

One of the worst BBQs there is. So many mistakes in one order, unbelievable! Two ketchups were missing (could have been fixed), I ordered a Coke with ice, but they all came without. Yesterday, we went to Burger King for the first time in a long time and were sadly disappointed. The fast-food restaurant at the Ellwangen truck stop was sparsely attended at the time of our visit. Nevertheless, it was difficult to find a reasonably clean table. The furniture also appears to be worn. The restaurant floor is covered in a visible film (possibly a combination of too much cleaning agent and dirt residue). The Double Whoppers we ordered were not tasty and seemed to have been thrown together without enthusiasm. The buns and the ground beef were dry. The employees gave us an unmotivated and unfriendly impression, which isn't really surprising given the working environment. The visit wasn't cheap either. Overall, a disappointment and unfortunately not recommended. I don't usually write posts (about fast-food restaurants), which certainly gives you an idea of ​​the level of our disappointment.

Wrong drinks were delivered, the lid was defective

The food was lower class, but the service was incredibly good. Since we were on a long search for burgerking crowns for a certain costume, we finally ended up here. The lady at the checkout gave us 4 of the Holy Grails without hesitation, which meant we could now do the airplane cosplay. Happy to come back and souvenirs were left there.

After having such a bad experience at the Herrieden branch a while ago, I wanted to try again. I was so craving a Double Whopper, so I ordered and paid for it at the display. After a short wait, it was ready and handed to me by a friendly employee with a lovely smile. Wow, I thought, this is really good service, now it just needs to taste as good as I remember it from before. It was amazing, thank you for this wonderful experience!

The food today was absolutely standard! The burger was nicely constructed, everything was fresh and still hot, no soft fries.
