Very fine German cuisine with a magnificent view of Lake Constance. Very large positions. We can highly recommend the fitness salad and the apple strudel. Card payment possible Parking spaces directly at the restaurant. Stroller and wheelchair friendly.

We ate here after a walk on the adjacent farmer's path. Children are very welcome here and there is plenty to do. The view from the terrace is phenomenal

Hello everyone. We were at Max and Moritz today. Since I am allergic to onions and garlic, I often have the problem that it usually occurs with schnitzel and fries. So I know a little bit about fries. I would like to praise Max and Moritz. Their fries were the best I've ever eaten so far. I am 59 years old. Respect for your fries. The pork knuckles were also to my liking. Keep it up and thank you for your service employee who served us. Full marks from me. Top. Keep it up

A restaurant with a mega view. We had a table by the window with a reservation. The atmosphere is very pleasant and invites you to linger. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We felt very comfortable. The food was very tasty. We had schnitzel with fries, onion roast with cheese spaetzle, Jägerschnitzel and pumpkin soup. Everything tastes really good. Unfortunately there was far too little sauce with the onion roast. It was more for the looks than actually eating. And I think 1.50 euros for extra sauce is quite a lot. Most restaurants offer these for free. Hence 1 star deduction. The play area for children in the basement is great, as is the outdoor playground. Very family friendly.

A great stopover on the way to Allgäu. Delicious food and great ambience. Play facilities for the children are also available. Recommend making a reservation - and then in the restaurant. The hall is a bit spacious.

Very successful evening there with representatives of my customer from Finland, Italy, USA and China. As before, I was happy to be with these customers again at Max&Moritz. Since there had been a small change in the menu in the meantime, but my customers had very positive memories of this dish from their last visit, the management was willing to cook it again especially for us. Very friendly and competent staff. We also had an allergy sufferer in our group, who received very professional advice from the trainee who served us. We all enjoyed it very much and enjoyed it very much. Thanks to the management and the team at Max&Moritz. We will be happy to come back the next time we visit our customers.

We went here to eat on the recommendation of our holiday accommodation - landlady. The restaurant is beautifully situated on one Mountain and you have a great view! There is also a nice little playground for children. The bouncy castle, however, is very dirty and worn out, but that's understandable if it's always outside! I'm just not sure how safe it will be, because the material also suffers from the effects of the weather! Inside it is very bulky and not particularly comfortable. The food was tasty but what bothered us was that the food felt like it came 5 minutes after we ordered. As if everything was just warmed up quickly in the microwave or was already prepared in the refrigerator. The taste was good. The portions are sometimes very large and we wanted to have the rest packed up. The waitress then took 2 plates (out of 4 - because she couldn't carry more) and packed them up too, but she took mine for the other plate The man simply threw a package on the table and said he should pack the food himself. Such unfriendly service. You had the feeling that the service staff only worked there because they had to and not because she enjoys her job. We can only recommend the restaurant to a limited extent and personally would not eat here again.

Very nice restaurant especially for families.

We went there on the chance because locals recommended this restaurant to us. We were lucky and the lovely waiter at reception had a nice free table for us. Directly at the window with a view over Lake Constance and the sunset. The employees are all very, very nice. The food is great and was served shortly after ordering. Everyone who is on holiday on Lake Constance must definitely eat here at least once. We were very satisfied and will definitely come back. Thank you

We drank a Spezi and a Radler from Max and Moritz. The beer was very tasty and very full-bodied. For dinner there was Jägerschnitzel with homemade spaetzle and champion cream sauce and the 200g turkey steak with homemade spaetzle and herb butter and a mixed salad. Everything was very tasty and arrived quickly. Only to recommend. We are completely at peace. For dessert there was hot love with chocolate ice cream

Was a wonderful evening. Great view. Great service. But, as beautiful as this back part with the trees is, it is just very loud. Maybe it's because of the hall-like construction. But for a private gathering with 14 people (reserved) the volume was a bit inappropriate. Because you couldn't really have a conversation. It's a shame, it's beautiful. Maybe we can do something about that.

The food was super delicious, including the vegan versions. The service could perhaps say “Hello” at the beginning and be a bit friendlier in general, but the rest was great.

Wir waren mit 7 Personen inkl. drei Enkelkinder wie schon oft zum Abendessen angemeldet. Bedauerten, dass wir einen Tisch ohne wunderschöne Aussicht zugewiesen bekamen. Nach höflicher Rückfrage und Bitte, ob eventuell ein "Fensterplatz" frei wäre, wurde das ermöglicht. Wunderschöne Lage, Kinderspielmöglichkeit, gutes Essen, Bier,.. alles so, dass wir gerne wiederkommen. Danke!

My hotspot when I want to go out to eat spontaneously. I always take the grill plate, but the onion roast with cheese spaetzle is hard to beat. The relaxed atmosphere and the friendly staff round off the whole visit; you don't stay there for long, but you'll always be happy to come back. Total recommendation! Kind regards from Lindau!

I thought it was a bit too expensive for what you get...it wasn't just based on my plate (sour cheese), there were several plates at the table. I especially find the children's meals too expensive

The food was really tasty and highly recommended. We were disappointed with the service. Especially from an employee behind the counter who was very rude. We were a group of almost 40 people and left over 2000 euros that evening. We would also have expected a little more accommodation during the waiting time between the two tours.

Unfortunately, it has deteriorated greatly in the last few months. Meat quality has deteriorated greatly...

We ate here twice. The first time it was loud and bustling with lots of guests as there were 3 coaches there. The second time it was the exact opposite: quiet and pleasant. Our place at the top was totally comfortable and a fantastic view over Lake Constance. Very tasty food, friendly service.

Leider muss ich 2 🌟 abziehen. Wartezeit 1 Stunde auf das Essen. Finde ich persönlich zu lang. Aber klar, bei der Masse an Gästen.Wobei es nicht am Servicepersonal liegt sondern an der Küche die nicht hinterher kommt. Ich hatte das Cordon Bleu mit Spätzle.Das Cordon Bleu war supi. Die Spätzle für meinen Geschmack etwas zu wenig gesalzen.Aber auch nicht dramatisch. Jetzt kommt es!!!!! Die dazu bestellte Bratensoße war einfach eine Frechheit.Ich habe recht schnell bemerkt das diese eine Fertigsoße aus der Tüte sein muss. Null Geschmack. In einem solchen Lokal kann ich erwarten das eine ordentliche Soße zubereitet wird!!! Das Personal war sehr freundlich sowie schnell. Auf meine angebrachte Kritik reagierte sie verwundert aber meinte sie gibt es an die Küche weiter. Bei der Rechnung wurde mir dann die Soße nicht berechnet,was ich widerrum sehr freundlich fand. Im großen und ganzen ist es sehr schön dort , auch wenn es heute leider nicht perfekt gelaufen ist. Aber ich werde es in Zukunft noch mal versuchen und schauen ob die Kritik was gebracht hat.

Wir verbrachten einen Kurzurlaub am Bodensee und wurden von unseren Vermietern (Pension am Bodensee) auf das Lokal aufmerksam gemacht. Das Lokal war voll belegt, trotzdem konnte uns noch ein Tisch zugewiesen werden. Freundliche Bedienung und wirklich schmackhaftes schwäbisches Essen. Trotz vollem Lokal kam bei der Bedienung keine Hektik auf und wir wurden äußerst freundlich empfangen und bedient. Bei einem weiteren Besuch am Bodensee werden wir mit Sicherheit das Lokal wieder aufsuchen.

Sehr leckeres Essen - Bier mit Charakter(Spezial) - es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

I have to say a very big thank you here. We had a party and because of all the planning, I only discussed everything very briefly on the phone. Everything was perfect. All the waitresses were incredibly friendly, our waitress (Laura) was very accommodating and no one had to wait for the order or for the drinks and food. We were there on a Sunday and the restaurant was of course very busy, the fact that everything ran so smoothly is a great thing. I can only recommend high praise.

Tolle Bedienung, leckeres Essen und Lage sowieso fantastisch.

Leider viel zu voll. Keinen Parkplatz bekommen. Mussten 20 min warten bis jemand wegfährt. Dann an der Anmeldung nochmal 5 min gewartet. Bedingung sehr unfreundlich. Essen haben wir nach 50 Minuten bekommen! Die Nebentische waren später da, hatten eher Essen. Das kann ja wohl nicht sein. Und mittlerweile sind dir hohen Preise deutlich über der Schmerzgrenze. Leider nicht mehr möglich....

Essen war sehr gut, Servicepersonal sehr nett. Allerdings haben wir über 45 Minuten auf unser Essen gewartet. Toiletten na ja.

Wir waren eine Gruppe von 10 Personen, alles hat gepasst, Essen sehr lecker und Personal immer freundlich.

Ambience nice. The food has always been great so far but unfortunately today it was disappointing. So far I have always had an onion roast and it was always good. This time I decided on a grill plate, which was unfortunately very disappointing. The meat was dry and almost inedible. Side dishes were good.

Nice view and nice ambience, but the grill plate wasn't the best. Very dry and unfortunately not very edible with any meat and for 27€. The last few times were better...

We originally came to this establishment because of the home-brewed beer. The beer itself was good, but could still be improved in some aspects. Unfortunately, this wasn't the main reason for my negative opinion of the restaurant. During our visit there was a misunderstanding between the concierge and a very courteous waitress. Even though we didn't have a reservation for three people, we still ordered food. When the concierge noticed this, he instructed that the food that had already been prepared be taken back from the table and thrown away. This not only resulted in a financial loss for the business, but also an unfortunate situation that could have easily been avoided. With a little more diplomacy and understanding, this situation could have been resolved much better for both sides. It's a shame that such a misunderstanding negatively affected the overall impression.

Eigentlich sind wir wegen dem selbstgebrauten Bier hingefahren. Das Bier war an sich gut, kleine Verbessrungen wären angebracht. Aber das ist nicht der Grund meines negativen Urteils über dieses Etablissements. Wir haben auf Grund eines Missverständnisses zwischen Concierge und einer zuvorkommenden Bedienung, trotz nicht Reservierung für drei Personen das Essen bestellt. Als der Concierge dieses bemerkte, hat er angewiesen das fertige Essen vom Tisch zurückzunehmen um dieses zu entsorgen, was natürlich für den Betrieb Geldverlust bedeutet und Hungersnot in der Welt!!!!!! Die ganze Situation hätte man bei ein bisschen Diplomatie für beide Seiten besser arrangieren können.

Through repeated mentions during a distillery tour, we became aware of Max and Moritz and spontaneously found our way there. We were thrilled. Not only the view, but also the food was delicious. And don't forget, you have really good staff: attentive, friendly and they think for themselves. Where else do you have that today! Keep it up.

Sehr netter Service, tolles Ambiente, sehr gutes leckeres Essen und eine Mega Aussicht auf den Bodensee...für Kinder gibt es einen Spielturm mit Nestschaukel und Rutsche...bei gutem Wetter gibt es dazu noch eine große Hüpfburg...bei schlechtem Wetter gibt es im UG ein Spielzimmer mit Bällebad, Tischkicker, Hüpfpferde und eine Kletterwand...

We had very attentive and friendly service who were able to fulfill all of our culinary wishes. She even greeted the dog warmly and brought a bowl of water. A great beer garden with a great view, super friendly staff, delicious food and absolutely child-friendly! My girlfriend and I felt super comfortable there with a total of three (small) children on September 4th, 2024 and were absolutely thrilled with the overall package. With the bouncy castle in the garden and playroom on the ground floor, we were able to eat in peace. There were crayons and a plug-in game at the table. Absolute recommendation - you'll love coming here as a family! Something like that is missing in our home town of Heilbronn... 5 stars ⭐️ very deserved.

Das Restaurant mit allen drum und dann ist hervorragend. Leider war eine Gruppe von Feuerwehrleuten vorhanden die sich etwas laut verhalten haben. Was uns nicht weiter störte, da sich einige andere Gäste beschwert haben, wurden wir persönlich von einem der Feuerwehrleute angegangen. Er rief seine Leute zusammen mit den Worten das man sich hier beschwert hätte und meinte "Er hoffe das wir niemals eine Feuerwehr benötigen würden." Dieser Vergleich ist in meinen Augen unmoralisch und völlig fehl am Platze. Noch dazu das wir uns nicht einmal beschwert hatten. Das Personal das wirklich beschäftigt war hat sich bemüht hier zu agieren leider ohne Erfolg. Wir sind dann gegangen bevor es für uns noch schlimmer wurde. Wir sind die letzten die eine gute Stimmung sowie auch einmal etwas über den Durst zu trinken. Aber bitte mit Respekt, unser Sohn und unsere Schwiegertochter sind ebenfalls in der Freiwilligen Feuerwehr und selbst die beiden haben gesagt das hier wieder ein typisches Klischee bedient wurde. Nicht desto trotz kommen wir gerne wieder vorbei das das Restaurant sowie Service,Essen und Freundlichkeit sehr zu empfehlen sind. Vielen Dank Familie Stoll

Max & Moritz was absolutely great. We sat on the terrace on a summery September day and had a phenomenal view over the vineyards and Lake Constance. A zeppelin could also often be seen. Swabian food. Lots of space.

Under a grill plate I imagine different types of meat, this should be grilled briefly and not tough and dry! The vegetables should be tasty and not in 6cm chunks and cooked. It's a shame that it didn't work out so well this time. The service was understanding!!!

Nice restaurant, great view, friendly and motivated service staff who were on their toes. Food (Sieben Schwaben Pfanne) was delicious. The only “criticism”: the portions are really big. It's a shame if it tasted good that you can't quite manage the "smaller portion" version. We would be happy to come back if we were in Kressbronn and the surrounding area.

I can highly recommend Max u Moritz above Kressbronn with a beautiful view of Lake Constance. The service is extremely fast, very friendly and makes you feel very welcome. I have often experienced it differently in other restaurants. The menu is extensive but not overloaded. I would have liked to try the house beer. Unfortunately it didn't work, I still had to drive. Definitely I'll come back. Important, a table reservation is highly recommended. Dogs are welcome. See you soon. Goodbye.

Ich bin nahezu Stammgast, habe eigentlich außer der Preisentwicklung und der Tatsache, dass es keine Bratkartoffeln mehr auf der Speisekarte gibt, nichts an dem schönen Lokal auszusetzen. Ich komme jederzeit gerne wieder.

Wir waren heute am 30.8 . Essen Top wie auch schon letztes Jahr, Bedienung heute sowas von nett, flott und aufmerksam, in Anbetracht der Gäste.. super 👍 Hochachtung solche Kräfte werden in der Gastronomie gebraucht. Mittwochs lief es beim Service leider nicht ganz so flott wie heute.

Honestly!!! We were really looking forward to visiting this restaurant because we had already heard positive feedback from friends and were disabused of it in the end! So we come to Max and Moritz's around 4 p.m. and the reception isn't quite so friendly... when we get to the table we have the menu cards, where we are initially hit with the high prices. Well, we tell ourselves we're on vacation and here now and then order something.! First we ordered the drinks, which were already a long time coming... and there wasn't much going on! Then the food was ordered and it took at least 45 minutes to arrive... Pepperoni appetizer for just under €14 was an absolute disappointment, especially in terms of quantity and taste... My brother's starter soup was forgotten and also because I had to pay €8 for a soup that tasted too salty and wasn't even worth a €5 soup! I could have made more out of a pack of Maultaschen from Lidl or Aldi with vegetable broth. Side salad €7.20 for a dry salad on a small plate without a big dressing for the main course! I could have just bitten into a raw lettuce! Main courses up to 18-20€ for a schnitzel with fries and Jägerschnitzel with spaetzle??Price/performance an absolute disaster.!You really wonder who made the pricing! Just unrealistic prices.! Again, price/performance absolutely underground! What you pay for here is the view of the mountains and Lake Constance and the bouncy castle that runs all day long. The electricity costs have to be paid somewhere. That was the first and last visit to this restaurant.!! I have no idea why this is rated so well.!? An absolutely sobering visit! Shame about the money!

The location is really sensational...unfortunately the atmosphere has the character of a waiting room...unless you get a seat with a view...the food was mediocre...starters okay...the Maultaschen unfortunately not...here it's about quantity instead of quality...there's still room for improvement above!!! Es war sehr voll und wir standen Schlange am Empfang. Parkplätze waren alle voll. Wir haben damit nicht gerechnet. Aber ansonsten sehr freundlich, gutes Essen, tolle Aussicht, hundefreundlich und viel Spielplatz für Kinder.

Very tasty food and beer. The service is very attentive and friendly. Children really welcome. The full-width view of Lake Constance is unbeatable. The Swiss mountains are like a picture. Es wurde extrem gut auf die speziellen Anforderungen bzgl Zöliakie eingegangen und das Personal kannte sich sehr gut aus! Sehr freundlicher und angenehmer Service!

Wir waren beim Spareripps All you can eat. Es gab für 6 Personen 5 Scheiben Brot zu den Spareribs, wir mussten 3 mal nachfragen ob wir neues bekommen. Aber dann waren es wieder nur 4 Scheiben… auf die 2 Runde Spareripps mussten Wir ca. 1h warten. Und bei der teilweise genommenen 3ten Runde wollten Sie uns fast nix bringen… Sehr schade. Hoffe das wird besser!
