Very nice, nicely decorated, comfortable and cozy places. Close to the U-Bahn station, which is a big plus. There are still a lot of guests, which proves the quality of the food... and drinks 😉🫠 delicious as always, nice service, so I recommend coming for dinner or coffee with friends...🥰😍

Das Essen war leider mehr als schlecht um nicht zu sagen ungeniessbar. Wir hatten die Mauritiusbox mit Pommes und Hähnchenspießen. Die Kartoffeln waren ok, das Fleisch war zum Teil schwarz verkohlt. Wir konnten das nicht essen. Bei unserer Beschwerde wurde nur von der Bedienung gesagt, ich gebe es an die Küche weiter. Wir mussten den vollen Preis bezahlen und es gab nicht mal eine Entschuldigung. Also in dieser Lokation lieber auf Essen verzichten!

Very nice terrace for a cocktail & snack on a summer evening. Also modern and tastefully decorated inside. Broken taps in the toilet. Had to wait a bit for service, but she was very friendly. Very attractive menu, but food and cocktails were just average. Is it because Mauritius is a chain?

Super tasty cocktails at great prices

Disappointing experience with the cocktails We recently ordered two cocktails and a pinsa at the restaurant in Mauritius. According to the menu, the cocktails were supposed to contain rum and marshmallows, but unfortunately we were served the drinks without these ingredients. When we inquired, we were told that these ingredients were not available. There was no apology and we were still charged full price. The quality of the Pinsa was okay, but the poor communication and service surrounding the cocktails significantly spoiled the overall impression. We hope this will be handled better next time.

Current rating: Went to Mauritius Zuffenhausen again yesterday (08/12/24) and had several takeaway meals. Just 2 stars. First of all, "staff": I greeted the lady behind the counter when I came in and said goodbye when I left - she didn't even open her mouth. For me: clearly wrong casting. But I understand that the restaurant has to accept almost every applicant because there are too few staff - therefore no deduction of stars - just a note! Food: one of the salads contained almost only hard iceberg lettuce - it was nothing and wasn't even half eaten. The lunch turkey schnitzel with spaetzle: once again dried spaetzle, tasteless. Salt in cooking water is probably still unknown. The same with the “cream sauce” or rather “water with milk product and color” - because it didn’t taste like anything and was once again extremely thin. Improvement: 0 The cream sauce was really horrible with the unsalted spaetzle really hard to eat. I've never had sauces as bad as here! -------------------------------------------------- -------- Old review "8 months ago": Unfortunately nothing more. We often ordered lunch and picked it up. The portions became smaller and smaller and the last time was the last time: a “cream sauce” for the schnitzel that was more like a dish broth. Thin, completely watery and absolutely no taste. The spaetzle also had no taste (forgot salt when cooking?). So that's it for now.

Salad not fresh, old lemon in the glass. No apology or accommodation. But nice atmosphere.

Nothing to complain about Gladly again

The Mauritius is still quite new at the Zuffenhausen location. The location is good, very centrally located, right next to the Rathaus subway station. Food and drinks are very tasty. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

Addendum: On the next visit the service was better and at least the pencils were sharpened. The price remains expensive and the taste is still so-so. With good will it will be 3 stars instead of 2. Original review: The food went like this (pasta sauce was completely tasteless, cheese spaetzle too) and a Grandissimo salad for €18 and €10 for 1 liter of water are now disproportionately expensive. The rest is just as expensive in terms of price. If you come at 12pm, you still have to wait 20 minutes for the kitchen and there is ice cream! in winter! Not yet, colored pencils for children are a great idea, but they cannot be used without sharpening. Rooms are freezing cold, so even summer photos don't help with the cold. The ambience is nice at first glance, but at second glance you can see the wear and tear. So the Mauri is absolutely no longer a recommendation. A pity!!!

Great restaurant, great service

The food was very tasty. Unfortunately the service was more than bad. One waitress was busy with his cell phone the whole time instead of taking care of the guests.

I was here today with my friends. The new desserts turned out really well. What put us in a good mood the most was the service. The gentleman with the Capi 10/10. Very friendly and a very positive charisma.

I would first talk about the guy who served me and was very patient with the language barrier. I speak very little Deutsch but the gentleman who spoke no English was very helpful and nice . As for the food, I tried the Italian classic pasta , dry aged cheeseburger, calamari box, san Sebastian with caramel sauce. I would say I was satisfied with the taste and presentation of the food. The place is big and the outside seating was pleasant and not crowded . I would definitely come back.

I like the restaurant, we have eaten there several times and celebrated two birthdays and have always been treated well. The food is delicious and fresh, it looks very modern, the waiters/maids are great, only the toilet is a bit, really just takes some getting used to. But feel free to stop by and eat something yourself, in the heart of Zuffenhausen.

Service TOP! FOOD FLOP! Unfortunately, immediately after eating it I had to deal with stomach pain! It was definitely some microwave stuff that was served to me. The fact that the food was served to me within 3-4 minutes cannot be said to be a freshly prepared dish.

We had dinner with the family in Mauritius. The waiters were very friendly and the food was very tasty and fresh. Getting there by train was also very easy.

UPDATE 04/2024 I have to say that Mauritius has degraded extremely. The prices are too high for what you get. The salads are very boring and taste average. Consists mainly of lettuce only. €16.90 for that is pretty cheeky. The tables outside are dirty, you have to ask for them to be cleaned. The seat cushions are dirty and full of stains. Overall it makes a dingy impression. —/ Typical Mauri menu. However, I have the feeling that the quality of the food has decreased. It would also be nice if the area outside were somehow demarcated, e.g. through plant pots or similar. You also almost sit on each other's laps outside because the tables are very narrow. Everything looks great inside.

Food & drinks great If there were a small complaint, the service did everything it could to make the customer happy. There was also a large selection of delicious cocktails!

Cocktails are still very good and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, they have raised the prices for food extremely. The price-performance ratio for the food is not okay.

I have to eat gluten-free and unfortunately the digital allergen card is incorrect. According to the list, the spaetzle does not contain gluten, and the waitress was unable to provide any information upon request. The meat and vegetables tasted very burnt (this was the case with 3 people at the table). But we were offered that new chicken breast fillets would be made. Not recommended for people with celiac disease.

First visit: Everything was perfect. Will come again. Now regulars. Great restaurant and very nice staff and guests. Also for older people. Greetings to the waitress from Malmö and a temporary worker who is almost completely tattooed. Only VfB Stuttgart is still missing.

Small selection at great prices First we had to wait forever for the menu and then realized that there was hardly any choice and the few things that appealed to us were absolutely expensive. There are only a few categories with around four dishes each, which are then exorbitantly expensive. I really wondered why so many people go there. I'm still sitting there as I write this review. The ladies of creation (waitresses) don't even look at you! Food arrived cold... Drinks totally careless with no decoration (I know differently from other branches). If you want to order something, you sometimes have to follow the ladies. We also had to take care of the salt and pepper ourselves. It's really a shame. But we will avoid Zuffenhausen from now on. Addendum: Of course, the waitress who served us at the beginning later asked us if everything was OK. I was honest with her and she brought us desserts on the house. And apologized for the inconvenience, saying she had to help out in the kitchen. Thanks to the waitress with the red hair 😉

When we arrived, the waiter ignored us and didn't even greet us. Reservations are not possible there. A pity! At least they could have said that everything was occupied or whether it was still worth waiting.

Hello, every time I come to Zuffenhausen from the North Sea, twice a year, I go to Mauritius. So far I've been happy because I like the atmosphere. The food never blew you away, but it was okay. But yesterday... I was there with my granddaughter, we were both so disappointed because she also liked the schnitzels well. The sauce was totally watery and tasteless. The spaetzle was in the water and not even the fries could score. It's a shame, the next one is just a café Marianne from the north

Very, very loud, music "cannot" be turned down. Places under speakers are bad. Seats directly at the door are unreasonable in the cold. Prices have risen insanely. Staff friendly and businesslike.

Wir waren anlässlich eines Geburtstages im Mauritius Zuffenhausen zu acht Essen. Der Tisch war schön gedeckt und sauber, anfangs war es auch noch recht leer. Wir haben unser Essen bestellt und langsam hat es sich gefüllt. Zum Schluss war das Restaurant so voll, dass man nicht mal auf Toilette gehen konnte, ohne den Herren vom Nachbartisch anzutippen und höflich zu fragen, ob er kurz aufstehen könnte (er wurde nämlich an die Tischkante gesetzt). Das Essen kam, leider war mein Burger sowie die Spätzle nahezu kalt. Bei meinem Burger hat die Soße gefehlt. Sehr enttäuschend. Auch bei den Cocktails eher semi positive Erfahrungen gemacht. Drei Cocktails wurden falsch an den Tisch gebracht, Begründung nach Reklamation war: Ne ne die sind schon richtig, was sie aber definitiv nicht waren. Marshmallow als Deko war total vertrocknet. Auch an der Sauberkeit der WC“s müsste dringend nachgebessert werden. Beide waren ziemlich verdreckt. Alles in allem würde ich nicht nochmal kommen. Da gehe ich lieber in ein anderes Mauritius mit besseren Standards.

Ich war heute das erstmal in zuffenhausen im Mauritius, heiß Getränke wurden kalt serviert. Wie haben dritt Latte getrunken und bei jedem jedem war der Schaum+ die Milch unterschiedlich im Glas. Die Bedienung war nicht einmal am Tisch und hat gefragt ob alles recht ist.. nicht aufmerksam der Service.

Essen war sehr gut und sehr schön angerichtet, die Cocktails waren sehr stimmig und süffig. Die Kellner, sehr bemüht, freundlich und sehr fix. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Gegessen habe ich nichts, nur Cocktail getrunken. Ich fand's schön und lecker, Ambiente war auch okay, also empfehlenswert da sich auch das Personal richtig angestrengt hat. Freundlichkeit top, weiter so 👍

Immer wieder gerne spontan zu Mauri, wenn man mal Lust hat auf einen leckeren Salat oder einfach mal mit den Mädels quatschen und essen gehen möchte. Man findet hier immer einen Platz, auch wenn man mal spontan vorbei schaut. Essen immer lecker - nur bitte passt auf das dass Brot zum Salat frisch und weich ist. Meistens hat man das Gefühl das dass Brot nicht immer frisch ist :/ Die Mitarbeiter sind immer nett gewesen, Location auch schön gemütlich.

Eigentlich wie in jedem Mauri, leider kam ein Cocktail nur halb voll, wurde aber direkt ohne Probleme aufgefüllt. Ausblick beim Händewaschen super 😅

Essen war sehr lecker und die Servicekräfte sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Einziger Nachteil ist, dass der Lärmpegel so hoch ist, dass eine angenehme Unterhaltung schwierig ist. Das Clientel waren grösstenteils 20 bis 30 jährige Menschen.

Das Ambiente war wirklich wunderschön. Reservieren konnte man nicht. Trotzdem wurde für alle Gäste immer Platz gefunden. Das Essen war auch ein Traum. Die Karte war nicht zu überfüllt. Dafür gab es viele verschiedene Cocktails für jeden Geschmack ist damit was dabei. Komme gerne wieder auf einen Besuch vorbei!

Ein modenes Lokal, eher für junges Publikum. Gut besucht und sehr laut, da ein (1) grosser Raum. Essen war ok, Service unbefriedigend...Bedienung(en) haben kaum Blickkontakt mut Kunden!! Einige Gäste wurden abgewiesen, da alle Tische voll besetzt...die Gäste an diesen Tischen haben LANGE darauf gewartet, bezahlen zu können...vgl.oben Blickkontakt.

Zuerst ein guter Eindruck, Kellnerin kommt schnell, begrüßt und sagt, dass sie gleich wieder mit der Karte da ist. Nach 15 Minuten ist sie immer noch nicht da. Sehr unprofessionell, daher ein no go für mich. Schade.
