Delicious food with very nice service

After 30 minutes we were finally served. After another 30 minutes our order of 2 hot chocolates still hadn't arrived. Guests next to us who ordered two coffees at the same time had long since finished their drinks. We then told the waitress that we didn’t want the hot chocolates anymore. She then said it was ok and then we left.

Were here for lunch. Very friendly staff, particularly child-friendly and a super nice location with a great view. Cheese spaetzle was a huge portion but tasted rather mediocre. The cheese is too weak and the pepper flavor is far too dominant. The side salad was delicious. We'd love to come back, but then we'll have something else to eat.

Nice location of the cafe. The weather was a bit chilly, so we sat indoors. This is very loud, with a lot of reverberation - sound insulation on the ceiling could help. Some of the staff are nice, some are overwhelmed and unfriendly. We had to wait a long time before we were even served.

Schnitzel tastes like someone has farted on it, although the fart was probably the freshest ingredient in the whole schnitzel, chapeau!

The 5 of us just wanted to go for a drink there! We were greeted at the door by a very rude waiter with the words “without a reservation? So spontaneous” and rolling eyes! Chew gum like a horse! Very rude and rude!!

The hotel's own dog walks calmly back and forth under the guests' tables. Whether they eat or not. If the four-legged friend runs away, he runs straight into the kitchen. Have a good meal.

The atmosphere outside on the terrace is really nice, but unfortunately, even though we drew attention to ourselves, we weren't served and left after about 15 minutes. Despite 5 waitresses and an only half-full terrace, no one from the staff came to take our order or at least signaled to us that someone would come to us later to order.

Sitting on the half-empty terrace for 45 minutes and waiting for our drinks. Beforehand, we had to tell the waitress three times, who was always deep in conversation with another waitress, that we wanted to order. If you don't want to wait a long time for your order, this is the right place for you.

Absolutely friendly and attentive staff. Food and drinks perfect. Prices for Stuttgart and location okay.

Because of the good reviews, we chose the Höhencafé on the Killesberg for a family trip. The location of the restaurant is fantastic, the menu is great to read and there are enough high chairs for children - so go ahead. The service is ok, but you get the impression that temporary workers are used here and that no trained staff is employed. The drinks came quite quickly, but were nothing special For food we chose the free-range pork schnitzel and the daily special, beef rump, each with fries. When the food came, the first one was disappointed - very carelessly prepared - but maybe it tastes better than it looks. Unfortunately, the disappointment continued - the schnitzel (2 pieces) from free-range pork was probably a frozen schnitzel (see pictures attached), which was completely dry - there were lemons draped on the schnitzel, some of which were already dry (see Pictures). The beef was ok, but sometimes very tough. The fries were ok, but also frozen. Price/performance was not ok. The only highlight remains the location itself. As constructive feedback to the restaurant: You have such a great location that is very busy - please cook with fresh ingredients and make the portions a little smaller or raise the prices a little. Every cent spent on bad food, no matter how cheap it is, is money wasted. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back and will advise everyone we know not to visit.

Here you can find the best cow dung in the whole of Killesberg, every single one is tasted by the owner so that he can be sure of the quality. Only high-quality manure is sold here and, according to the owner, it is freshly prepared and the owner is very proud of the manure he dispenses.

Disgusting frozen schnitzels at restaurant prices. Had a meal here, it wasn't worth it, there was no response and no goodwill was shown. The schnitzel smelled awful and tasted like cardboard. Serving frozen schnitzel for €17 is quite brave. At least if it hadn't been one of the nastiest schnitzels I've ever tried, I might have been able to live with it. In retrospect, it doesn't surprise me that we were the only ones who ordered real food, because the schnitzel tasted like a breaded cow patty. Chapeau to the boss.

I was there with my son and we ordered sausage salad and schnitzel with fries. The schnitzel was inedible and tasted like cardboard. That's why I only ate half of it. I told the waitress that the schnitzel was not edible. She then told me she would pass it on to the chef. In any good restaurant I would have had a discount or the waitress would have asked me if I wanted something else and then wouldn't have charged me for the schnitzel. Sausage salad, schnitzel with fries, two non-alcoholic beers and a normal beer cost a total of €50. Absolutely over the top and subpar quality for frozen goods. Service in this case was also poor.

We had the XXL fries to take away and XXL is exactly right. One serving is easily enough for 3-4 people with a slight hunger. In contrast, a packet of ketchup was very small. Well, complaining at a high level, the fries were super tasty and everyone was full.

The portions were very manageable and therefore overpriced. It may be that we are used to generous Franconian portions, but we weren't really full. The cheese spaetzle swam in an indefinable sauce made of cheese (and?). When I told the waiter that there was a bit too much cheese, I was told “better than too little”. The more I think about it, the bolder I find the answer. Otherwise he was on the ball and nice. The falafel was dry and for rice and lentils you wonder how the €20 price of the HC Bowl is justified? We won't come anymore.

The Höhencafé Killesberg is a true gem in Stuttgart! Fantastic location with a great view over the city, delicious cakes and a cozy atmosphere. The iced chocolate is a must! Friendly service rounds off the experience perfectly. Absolute recommendation!

It was pure madness. After a trip to the Killesberg tower, we spontaneously stopped at the Höhencafé Killesberg. What was remarkable was the friendly and attentive service and the delicious food there. Gladly again ..

The spaetzle was great, as was the raspberry cake. Beautiful view, shady spots and great waiters. Makes good food recommendations. Attentive staff and always clean tables. Here people still work with smiles and joy and you go home in a positive mood :) Again any time!

The place is beautiful, the atmosphere is pleasant. The portions are small and overpriced. The waiting time for an order is very long. Next time we will only order coffee and cake.

Very nice atmosphere in the Killesberg mountain park. Unfortunately I can't rate the food. There were four of us, we ordered together, three of us got our food. Of the 3 schnitzels I ordered, only 2 came. After half an hour I canceled my schnitzel. Still, my canceled meal arrived after everyone else had already finished

Das Restaurant/Cafe ist schön gelegen und eingerichtet. An sich ein schöner Ort zum entspannen und Pause machen. Leider hatte ich das Gefühl dass das Personal etwas überfordert war trotz geringer Auslastung. Wir hatten zwei Getränke bestellt. Mein Getränk war erst nicht mehr verfügbar dann entschied ich mich für ein anderes was nun auch wieder nicht verfügbar war. Nach dritter Auswahl musste ich auf dieses Getränk nun lange warten und dann war es dazu leider auch noch das falsche. Leider kein guter erster Eindruck vielleicht besser beim nächsten mal.

“Homemade raspberry-lemon lemonade” is a real shame, just raspberry syrup, sparkling water and a slice of lemon. I can mix this myself at home in just a few seconds. For me, a “lemonade” is a base of sweetened lemon juice, sparkling water and the content that gives it its name. A pity. But it wasn't discussed and exchanged for long, thank you.

One of the waiters even clapped us out and pointed to the door. One day later we got an email saying it “was all a misunderstanding”. I am wondering how saying “you need to leave now” can be misinterpreted. I cannot recommend for company events. // Wir waren im Höhencafe für eine Firmenveranstaltung mit 50 Personen. Das Essen war sehr gut, wir wurden aber schon um 21.15 Uhr rausgeschmissen. Einer der Kellner hat uns auch hinausgeklatscht und auf die Tür gezeigt. Einen Tag später bekamen wir eine E-Mail, in der es hieß, dass 'alles ein Missverständnis war'. Ich frage mich, wie man den Satz 'Sie müssen jetzt gehen' falsch interpretieren kann. Ich kann das Höhencafe nicht für Firmenveranstaltungen empfehlen.

Unfortunately not suitable for lunch. Café and cake is completely fine, but nothing more. Food is so-so, it fills you up rather than makes you happy and the staff is very unfriendly. It's a shame for such a nice "restaurant".

Quiet and nice restaurant with a beautiful view

Terrible service, food was average, nothing special. Even the daily special was bad: overcooked spaghetti with bland flavors. We wanted to order another drink but the waitress never came back. In fact, she deliberately ignored us, even though all four of us turned and raised our hands. That would be understandable if the restaurant was full, but there were only four other tables occupied, which she didn't ignore. We suspect it was because we spoke a foreign language and the other tables spoke German. She only came back because a couple sat down next to us and I spoke to them. Otherwise she would never have looked at us or asked if everything was okay. We didn't order the missing drink anymore and just asked for the bill. She said that no card payment was possible and didn't bring the bill, but simply asked us to pay in cash. We had to call them back to get the bill. Her name was Laura, the other waiter was nice.

Great excursion destination, go for a walk in the park, climb the tower and then stop off at the altitude. But with over 200 guests, the staff reaches its limits.

If you're a blonde woman with a child, you should avoid the store. The owner and his wife seem to have a trust problem here. The boss said audibly, ...Russian, definitely catching men! Incredibly cheeky to notice that as a German. Ugh, I definitely won't be entering this store again! Simply ridiculous and disrespectful! If you are afraid of dogs, you should avoid this place as they roam around there. Not tasty, especially since he was placed next to the guests' table and was constantly itching, fleas?

A nice restaurant with a view, the tables were a bit crowded, but otherwise a nice stop. Unfortunately we found the portions offered to be quite small for the price. I had salmon with rösti and sour cream for 15.90 euros. There were two small hash browns and a relatively small portion of salmon. For me it was more of a snack or appetizer, but not a main meal. The Maultaschen were similarly small. We had to eat something in town afterwards to fill ourselves up. Perhaps the small portion size should be mentioned in fairness. The service was good and friendly.

It's very nice to sit outside. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The menu is small, but the food tastes exceptionally good. The café has a dog that runs around freely, but this isn't a problem because the dog just looks at where food has fallen
