What a shambles - this is the most terrible gastronomic experience in a global opera house - unfriendly service, terrible food, overpriced, low quality in every aspect- Stadt Stuttgart should take action - what an embarrassment

An absolute disaster! I haven't seen such a disorganized company in a long time.

The selection in the canteen is limited, but it was delicious. There was just no room to vary the menu, and the atmosphere is as it is.

I thought the burgers here must be really good if it took an hour to make one… even though I was the only customer who ordered food. Everything you can possibly do wrong with a burger is delivered here. The view is really good though 😜

Pre-ordering always works perfectly. Unfortunately, it costs an extra €3! As expected, the drink prices aren't cheap, but they're tolerable. With my opera subscription, I usually sit in the second balcony, but this time I was seated in the stalls, out of turn. The restaurant was so loud (because of the closed doors during the performance). Not just the clattering of dishes and the banging of cupboard doors, but also loud conversations. This is disruptive and should be urgently discussed with the staff...PLEASE...

The worst place ever, the prices are outrageous and the food is awful. I get stomach problems every time I eat there.

It doesn't try to be a theater cafeteria. The prices are astronomical for the quality offered. Furthermore, a theater venue should serve as a meeting place after each opera or play, where people can discuss the pieces. However, that's not the case here, as they close shortly after the end of the performance/sales are suspended. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend them.

The food is mostly completely overpriced and barely usable. Even the pretzels often taste stale and dried out. The drinks are also at drugstore prices. The selection is okay. Furthermore, it's not a theater cafeteria but rather caters to outside guests, which makes the above name completely obsolete.

We had reserved a table and drinks before the theater performance, and we weren't sure if it would work out. The service was extremely helpful in arranging everything for us, thoughtful about our needs, and provided chilled drinks. We had an exceptionally pleasant evening. Thank you.

Opera house catering...you're now supposed to pre-order your interval drinks online and pay €3 each time you get a poorly filled 0.2 glass of wine placed at a small table. Well, for a group of 8-10 people, that's not a big deal, but for individuals, it's quite significant. So, €11 for 0.2 glasses of wine isn't appropriate. Other opera houses in Germany can do better.

I can only confirm the above review: chewy, soft, thick pretzels with a touch of butter for €3, a small beer for €4.50, a small salmon roll with a strong fishy flavor for €11, etc. The formerly good food has now reached a lower standard.

Unfriendly staff and completely overpriced sandwiches: 6.50 for the sparkling wine and 16.50 for 4 mini breads about 5 cm in diameter.

The Stuttgart theater canteen scores with cheap offers and a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks. Delicious salad buffet and fast delivery. The ambience isn't bad either, maybe you'll meet your favorite actor occasionally?

Katastrophe. Operngäste warten auf ungeübtes Personal das bei Andrang von Hunderten nicht in der Lage ist Kassen Rollenpapier einzufädeln anstatt schnell die total überteuerten Getränke und mini Häppchen zu verkaufen. Opera in the Länd… 🙊🙉🙈

Während der Arbeit als Barmann habe ichecht viel Spaß, und das Essen sind immer gut vorbereitet, nette Peronal

Ordentliches Essen, leider keine so gute Preis-/ Leistungsrelation mehr.

This is a review of the evening service, which is overpriced for the value (> poor service) being offered. During the day it's one of the best lunch-spots in town. As an after-performance venue, it's clearly over the top.
