It was our first time there and everything was delicious. Unfortunately, many of the tables weren't cleared, but otherwise everything was fine.

A third of the tables were empty, and there were plenty of waiters, but they were either busy with themselves or skillfully ignoring tables with new customers. After waiting 25 minutes without being served or noticed, I left. They obviously don't want to make money here. What a shame!

This is is the saddest review Ive ever made. This restaurant is amazing, but they only have 1 server at the time. Ive come in the morning, evening and this is the case a lot! I'm not sure why but is really unfortunate. They really need to work on staffing. My review is more of a complaint to management then the servers, the food or atmosphere.

We visited the café for breakfast. The bagels were truly delicious and fresh – a true highlight in terms of taste. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired: They didn't ask if we'd like another drink, no one came by to check on us, and our table remained messy for a long time. We practically had to fight for attention, which was a shame. The accessible/changing restroom also stood out negatively: It was dirty and cluttered with cleaning supplies and boxes. Access would have been virtually impossible with a wheelchair. In our opinion, this area in particular should be tidy, clean, and accessible – especially if it's designed for both people with disabilities and families with small children. Conclusion: The food was really good, but service and hygiene urgently need to be improved.

I was here with my boyfriend, and we both got the pancakes with nougat cream. At first, it was difficult to get the waitresses to come to our table because they repeatedly walked past or skillfully ignored our waving, and at that point, the place wasn't particularly busy. When the food finally arrived, we were shocked. There were three meager pancakes on our plates, albeit beautifully presented. The whole thing cost €14 per portion, so a lot of money for a very small amount of food, plus terrible service. When we wanted to pay, no one came and we had to wait 20 minutes. The food itself was okay, nothing amazing. I definitely won't be going back!

I went there for the first time today and only ordered a cappuccino. Unfortunately, I felt uncomfortable from the start. The seats were covered in crumbs and even a wet, unidentifiable substance. Instead of the staff noticing and cleaning it on their own, I had to point it out. The cleaning was then only superficial. The crumbs were simply wiped onto the floor, which was already very dirty, with a damp cloth. The seats remained wet, and I had to dry them myself with a napkin to even be able to sit down. The floor was so dirty that I felt like my shoes were standing on old food scraps. So I left earlier than planned. My polite feedback about the hygiene was met with a simple "I didn't see it." Unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant experience. I won't be back. Overall, the place was not inviting at all.

I'm writing this review because I generally love visiting this restaurant. I've been a regular on weekends for two years, sometimes even twice on a Saturday. Although the construction project is still ongoing, the location is very lively and entertaining. The food is delicious, and the drinks are good. Over the past six months, I've noticed a significant change in the staff—unfortunately, not for the better. The new staff seems ruder, more impatient, and even less competent. I politely request that some improvements be made here, as I really enjoy coming here and would like to continue doing so.

Today, we waited over 25 minutes for service in a half-empty restaurant after being handed the menu. Several attempts to contact us failed. Unfortunately, the lady was busy with a personal conversation. So we just left.

A cozy spot in the heart of the city—perfect for enjoying a coffee while observing the hustle and bustle of Marktstrasse. My latte macchiato was really good, and the avocado toast was also delicious. Still, a slice of bread, some avocado, a dollop of tomato salsa, and two scrambled eggs for €14.90—that's out of proportion for me. The portion was simply too small, even considering the central location. The taste was excellent, but the value for money could be improved.

The food is okay, but nothing special for the price. The service was poor, the restrooms were really dirty, and the chairs on the terrace were way too close together. You can go there once in a while, but you won't miss anything.

This was my second time there. The service was always very unfriendly! I ordered a Prosecco spritzer with ice, but instead received a Prosecco without ice. When I asked if it was a spritzer, the waitress replied "yes" in an emphatic tone. But it wasn't! The espresso arrived without sugar, and by the time I could order and get it, the espresso was cold. My table had a lot of stains from the start and was still wet from the previous guests. Unfortunately, the table wasn't cleaned. While sorting the tables and chairs, a chair hit me in the back. No "sorry." Disagreements between employees are aired in front of the guests, and the facial expressions towards the guests are also very unfriendly. I come from the restaurant industry myself and understand that it can sometimes be very stressful in the summer. But the fact is: it's not the guest's fault. Definitely my last visit!

A very unfriendly waiter refused to let us sit at our table because our small child was still holding an ice cream. We decided to go to another restaurant 100 meters away, where we were treated much more kindly.

Our server moved at a pace that had me wondering if they were secretly filming a slow-motion-mocumentary. As for the drinks, they were as thrilling as a glass of lukewarm water-average at best! The crowd? A collection of overly confident peacocks, strutting around as if their overpriced mediocre beverages granted them a royal status. If you're in the mood for slow service, bland drinks, and an atmosphere thick with arrogance, Cotidiano is your place! Just bring a book; you'll need it while you wait. Bon appétit!

I always enjoy coming here for my coffee. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. It's a beautiful location, and the atmosphere inside is very pleasant.

Today, I went to the Cotidiano restaurant in Stuttgart with my girlfriend. On my last visit with friends, everything was excellent – ​​the food was delicious and the service outstanding. Unfortunately, we didn't like it this time: My girlfriend was served a bowl of rice – the rice was completely stuck together in a lump. At 10:15 PM (although the restaurant is open until 11:00 PM), the waitress loudly moved all the chairs from the unoccupied tables onto the tables, placing many chairs directly on the tabletops. She then brought in large, clattering vases of flowers from outside. This significantly disrupted the peaceful atmosphere in the restaurant and spoiled the overall impression. Furthermore, the waitress informed us at 9:45 PM that the kitchen was closed and we couldn't order any more food. Apparently, the kitchen was only open until 9:30 PM. Why weren't we informed of this at 9:00 PM? We wanted to order dessert. Overall, we left the restaurant disappointed today.

I went there for dinner with my wife this evening for the first time. The service was very friendly and, surprisingly, spoke Italian. This made my wife feel at ease, as her German isn't very good; she thoroughly enjoyed her stay. In any case, we were well looked after and served. We had the mixed starter for dinner, which was beautifully presented and also delicious. Kudos to the kitchen. I'm also very grateful to the manager, who spontaneously introduced himself as Thanu, for inviting me and my wife to dessert and coffee for our 70th anniversary. This was definitely not the last time we'll be there. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience.

When I came there was only one waitress and she was busy, so I went to the counter and asked. I picked a spot. The service person was alone, but was completely unmotivated and called 3 times. So service was disappointing. I personally didn't like the food, there was a lot of greasy mayo. Next time I won't go. Ambiance was very pleasant just.

Were there briefly at Easter on April 19th at 6 p.m., extremely rude waiter or bartender at the bar. He probably didn't feel like doing his job and immediately showed the guests that he was unwelcome. Then we left straight away...

The window seats are completely out of the service perspective. Nobody looks here and you have to walk up to the counter yourself to order something. Unfortunately, the avocado bowl didn't taste good. There was a lot of rice hidden under the other ingredients, far too much for my taste and that ruined the bowl. Hello, I go to my favorite restaurant in Cotidiano every day. I've already tried a lot of things on the menu and love the healthy selection. In addition, the ambience is very inviting and timeless. And the best thing for me in this store is the service. The employees try very hard to satisfy their guests. You will always be welcomed with a smile here. Keep it up. Service desert, dirty tables and only wiped after the third time, the cloth was so wet that your fingers were dripping when the coffee was served. And bam the milk jug flew to the floor and broke. But the milk stayed on the floor and unfortunately the coffee wasn't in the cup.

The location is very good, right on the market square. The seating outside is extremely tight. I think it should be better coordinated. The waitress seemed to be new to the restaurant. When I asked for a menu, she said we'd have to wait... Weird. We were already seated at a table. Unfortunately, there was no option to leave bags or hang them at the table. The waitress was the only one outside. We had very good weather that day. It was completely full, which can quickly become overwhelming for one person. The menu is more geared towards brunch/breakfast. Less lunch, etc. The food consisted mainly of various burgers. The Chicken Caesar Burger was okay, but with the ceaser sauce, it had too much apple cider vinegar and was therefore overpowering. The fries, on the other hand, were 10/10. Really nice and crispy, not like regular fries. - The only reason I would go again. Why do you get a 0.2 liter juice spritzer in a glass that's also used for a water glass with espresso? For €3.20??! That's unacceptable! Visually speaking, it's just... There are better places; fancy doesn't necessarily mean good. 2.5/5

Guys, I don't know what's wrong with you, but really bad food was served today. We had a good experience some time ago and want to repeat the visit. Now we're sitting at home with a stomach ache. It doesn't work that way. Beef citizens too fatty, crispy chicken from the freezer and fries without any taste. So you could do that better. Wake up a bit and don't serve your guests something like that.

Actually a nice place - unfortunately again disappointing service from one person I've been here many times and have always been satisfied - the location is nice and the offering is right. Unfortunately, I always notice one employee in a negative way: a gentleman who often serves outside is regularly unfriendly and quickly seems annoyed. Today I asked for regular white sugar and got brown sugar with marshmallows instead. When I asked, he was visibly annoyed and said that this was the only sugar available - even though I later found white sugar myself. It's a shame, because such situations with exactly this employee are unfortunately no exception. This spoils the otherwise wonderful experience every time.

We went there for a late breakfast on a Sunday in mid-March. We didn't have a reservation, but we were lucky and managed to get a spot. It seemed that the spot was very popular, people went in and out and there was a huge rush. Despite there being a lot to do, we received friendly service and the drinks and food came very quickly. Everything tasted delicious (smoothie, pretzel croissant; only the pink latte gets a point deducted). In my opinion, the prices are reasonable for the spot and the unusual, "hip" dishes on offer.

We are arriving around 15:30 for lunch. It's amazing. We had oriental bowls with zwiefalter dark beer. Very good. Highly recommended.

We happened to walk past this cafe and found it very nice. The four of us ordered drinks and cake. Let's start with the ambience. A beautiful shop and that's exactly why we came in. So that’s it for the good things. Ordered a Belgian waffle for €6.90. We received a portion that was so small that at first we thought they had forgotten the second waffle. As a topping there were 2 more! Raspberries and 2!blueberries. We were served by a lady and a young man. The young man probably wanted to make a casual comment and asked in the presence of our women whether I was a pimp because I had two cell phones on the table. But the waitress tops everything. After we waited 20 minutes to even be able to say that we wanted to pay, the lady came rudely and collected the money. We still left a tip and didn't receive a thank you or a goodbye. I'll write this here now. This store will no longer exist by the end of the year. Nobody does this to themselves twice!

We had the avocado burger and the chicken yogurt bowl. Both cost €17.90 each. The bowl was very tasty, but unfortunately the burger wasn't at all - the patty didn't taste like it was freshly prepared, the bun tasted very sweet and there was neither tomato nor lettuce on the burger. Generally a nice atmosphere in the restaurant, very friendly service, but in our opinion not necessarily recommended for food given the prices.

Offering is great, that's why we're in. Food was served lukewarm. The club sandwich was ok, the fries were rancid and soggy. Yesterday we were there, today I hung more on and over the toilet. Never again.

NEVER PAY BY CARD!!! RIP OFF!!!We ate there a few days ago. Waiting too long for the food to arrive. And the worst thing is that the waitress gives herself irregular tips without our consent. Two friends who ordered the same thing had different prices because the waitress wrote down a price to fill her own pockets. Cheeky. Then for me I rounded up my order to a few euros just for the waitress to add something extra. I mean bro I've already tipped, even around 20 percent, why are you rounding it up. This is a rip off. You should never pay by card. A friend of ours paid in cash, the best decision of her life.

Fantastic, Bavarian food, pork knuckle pork melts in your mouth, crackling great and crispy, 1/2 knuckle more than enough for one person, service quick and excellent, waiters/ waitress's knowledgeable chatty and all speak english fluently, will be back.

Though the marketplace is full of security police 🚔 but u hv to be careful on your personal belongings. Went back there to lodge police report on 26.4.2024 on the same day I lost it.

Service borderline! An old lady had to undergo instructions that she was only allowed to take a maximum of 2 small sips of the hot drink if she wanted to complain that it was too cold. She didn't want a new drink, just made it hot again... he couldn't be stopped. Then it came back super hot - that's exactly how you provoke negative reviews - - - And they have great prices...

Salmon & Chicken was over cooked. Staff seemed lofted. I would cautiously recommend this shote hole. .

Have been here for breakfast a few times and can recommend it. If the weather is good you can sit outside. There are also vegan options at breakfast, which are clearly marked. Employees are always friendly.

Nice café right on the market square, unfortunately only three stars ordered a Radler, but the Radler is not a normal Radler, but rather infused with homemade lemonade. Therefore it tastes bitter and sour. It's a shame only three stars. Next time it might be appropriate to inform customers that the Radler is not a normal Radler.

Unfriendly waiters who don't even really talk to you, bring the wrong ice cream twice and find it "disrespectful" if you want to round up the amount. The waiter (short hair, thin build) said “I can’t buy anything with 10 cents anyway, that’s disrespectful.” You want to round up the additional amount out of NICENESS (not because of the poor service!!!) and then you get yelled at!! Where do we live?? In addition, no real German was spoken (all waiters) and it was very difficult to understand. I will never go there again and I will discourage everyone around me from doing so.

Very poor service. The waiters are really rude, angry and yelled at my friend to “MOVE” instead of nicely asking her to give way. One waiter angrily took the menus from us, rolling his eyes etc. While the food is good, 2 of their 3 working members were not suitable for service industry. If you don’t want to be yelled at while paying for a service, never ever come to this place.

A very bad experience unfortunately. We know the place it was not our first time but today we faced with such a bad behavior from the staff. Reservation was not known, the request of changing place was taken with low mood. Also there are very few options for someone who is pregnant and they do not offer any solutions for that. Hope they will fix these issues till then no more visits

Very tasty, I can only recommend it to you all. Great atmosphere. We were there with our dog at the weekend and the waitress brought him a bowl straight away without mentioning it.

What some others have already written, namely that you sometimes don't get served for a long time even if there are hardly any guests there, is unfortunately also my experience. However, I really like the ambience and the location on Rathausplatz. But what's not possible is that we were there probably 6-7 times in total. Three times there was mold in the food. We have had the food returned every time. Last time we spoke urgently to the service staff that this was the third time and that they really need to change something. I have no idea whether this will be done now, apparently nothing was done the previous times. We won't go there again, no matter how practical and nice the location is.

Ich war insgesamt vermutlich 6-7 Mal dort. Super Ambiente und ich mag das Treiben vom Rathausplatz sehr. ABER: Ich habe jetzt schon das dritte Mal (!) Schimmliges dort serviert bekommen. Immer von Früchten oder Gemüse ausgehend. Einmal schimmlige Blaubeeren, einmal schimmlige Tomaten… ich habe jetzt beim dritten Mal inständig mit der Servicekraft gesprochen dass sie bitte wirklich sich das mal anschauen und abstellen. Dreimal ist ja kein „Zufall“ oder „Versehen“ mehr. Ich werde erstmal nichtmehr dort hingehen.

Seriously disappointed For us it was unimaginable and incomprehensible... We were in the Cotidiano for about 50-55 minutes in the late afternoon and then left without having accomplished anything. We ordered our drinks twice during this time (an order can always get lost, we would understand that) but when our coffees still didn't come - even though other tables around us had received their drinks in the meantime - after being there for almost an hour and we asked the waiter about it…..which led to another waiter coming to take our order…..we decided to leave…All good things don't always come in threes.
