Disappointing. I don't understand why the place was so crowded. Maybe they were short-staffed today due to illness—who knows? I waited forever for someone to come; they were clearly overwhelmed. My order was two burgers and two pomegranate sodas. Half an hour later, one soda arrived, and the second one was forgotten. I won't be going back. They're lacking qualified staff—that's how I'd put it. All the best.

I wanted to have breakfast with a friend, but even after 30 minutes we hadn't received our food. Despite asking the waiter, we only got our coffee. Furthermore, an oat cappuccino we ordered was served incorrectly and only arrived correctly after we asked several times – accompanied by eye-rolling.

We had breakfast at Cotidiano. The food was quite tasty, but I've definitely had better avocado toast. The selection of cakes looked delicious, but unfortunately, I didn't have room for any more after breakfast. The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was friendly. I especially appreciated that the feta cheese wasn't charged extra because I had ordered the two fried eggs with my bread without them! :) What I didn't like was the €0.70 surcharge for oat milk; for that price, I could buy almost a whole liter of oat milk at the supermarket, and it doesn't exactly encourage people to switch to milk alternatives.

Breakfast was delicious and the service was good. However, the restrooms were disgusting. They were filthy everywhere – the doors, the mirror, the floor. A restroom shouldn't be that dirty after just one day. This suggests that they aren't cleaned regularly. For me, the restroom is a reflection of how clean the rest of the restaurant is. And if the restrooms aren't cleaned regularly, what about the kitchen? Furthermore, I found it extremely expensive.

I'm a regular at Cotidiano and come by several times a week – sometimes just for a quick coffee, sometimes for lunch or dinner. It's always a treat! The food is always delicious, the ingredients are super fresh and flavorful. Whether it's bowls, burgers, or the tasty cakes – everything is perfect and makes me truly happy. What's especially lovely is the relaxed, cozy atmosphere – bright, welcoming, and just right for feeling comfortable, whether you're alone with your laptop, with friends, or family. And best of all: the team is incredibly warm, attentive, and always in a good mood. You're greeted with a smile every time and feel right at home. In short: Cotidiano is my favorite place to feel good in Stuttgart. Thank you to the whole team – keep up the great work! ♡ I will definitely continue to come by often and with pleasure.

It's a shame, there was so much more potential! Cool place, nice design, great location. The menu looks great and raised our expectations... nothing really wrong or bad in itself, but: anyone who knows the EggDrop Sandwich from Ludos am Feuersee won't be very happy here. Anyone who knows the sourdough avocado bread with poached eggs from Gottlieb in Cannstatt will find this version rather bland. And anyone who's ever had Belgian waffles at Claus on Tübinger Straße... The servers are young and friendly, but, sorry to say, they're clearly complete novices and some aren't really "cut out" for the restaurant business. Again, nothing terrible happened, no major criticism (or even criticism that could be leveled), but it wasn't a particularly memorable dining experience either. Considering all of this, the prices don't really justify the value for money. Hence, 3 stars.

We went for breakfast. It was fine … not the best in Stuttgart. The girl who helped us at the beginning was very kind, but there was one waiter who was extremely rude. We asked him for an extra plate and to please clear the table because it was very small and we didn’t have space, and his attitude and the way he spoke to us were very disrespectful. Honestly, disappointing…especially in such a beautiful, very touristy location

Ordered take away raspberry tart and cheesecake. Both were okey, but cheesecake was extraordinary. As cheesecake lover would say it was one of the best ones I've ever had.

For us, Cotidiano is the restaurant for breakfast in Stuttgart. The food is delicious, the selection is large and varied – the Bircher muesli and the egg drop sandwich are particularly recommended. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fair for Stuttgart. The service is decent, but the focus is on the food – and it is truly excellent. The only small drawback: the tables are very close together, making it a bit difficult to find space with a stroller.

Considering the area and the price, it was pretty awful. For over €15 a bowl, we got rice with instant sauce, a bucket of sauerkraut, and a cheap, cold meat substitute, all carelessly prepared.

It's a pity that if the shop is not full you still have to wait 40 minutes for an avocado toast and a beagle, I find that absolutely weak and disappointing

We visited this restaurant for the first time last week and were truly surprised by how much time the staff spent on their phones instead of attending to the guests. Some guests even had to get up and search for the waitress to get attention or order something. This unfortunately came across as very unprofessional and significantly spoiled the overall impression – even though the food was truly delicious.

We visited the restaurant on October 4, 2025. When paying the bill, I discovered that a 15% gratuity had been automatically added without my consent. The server hadn't informed me beforehand that a gratuity would be charged, and I hadn't consented. Furthermore, the waitress was very unfriendly, which significantly spoiled the overall experience of my visit. I find this practice inappropriate and misleading, as tipping in Germany is generally voluntary and based on the guest's own decision. I hope that in the future, they will ensure that tips are only collected with the guests' express consent.

I made a reservation online for a Sunday – it worked out great, everything was prepared on time. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The drinks arrived immediately after ordering, and the food didn't take long to arrive either. The taste was truly top-notch! We felt completely at home and would gladly come back. 👌🍽️

A third of the tables were empty, and there were plenty of waiters, but they were either busy with themselves or skillfully ignoring tables with new customers. After waiting 25 minutes without being served or noticed, I left. They obviously don't want to make money here. What a shame!

This is is the saddest review Ive ever made. This restaurant is amazing, but they only have 1 server at the time. Ive come in the morning, evening and this is the case a lot! I'm not sure why but is really unfortunate. They really need to work on staffing. My review is more of a complaint to management then the servers, the food or atmosphere.

We visited the café for breakfast. The bagels were truly delicious and fresh – a true highlight in terms of taste. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired: They didn't ask if we'd like another drink, no one came by to check on us, and our table remained messy for a long time. We practically had to fight for attention, which was a shame. The accessible/changing restroom also stood out negatively: It was dirty and cluttered with cleaning supplies and boxes. Access would have been virtually impossible with a wheelchair. In our opinion, this area in particular should be tidy, clean, and accessible – especially if it's designed for both people with disabilities and families with small children. Conclusion: The food was really good, but service and hygiene urgently need to be improved.

I was here with my boyfriend, and we both got the pancakes with nougat cream. At first, it was difficult to get the waitresses to come to our table because they repeatedly walked past or skillfully ignored our waving, and at that point, the place wasn't particularly busy. When the food finally arrived, we were shocked. There were three meager pancakes on our plates, albeit beautifully presented. The whole thing cost €14 per portion, so a lot of money for a very small amount of food, plus terrible service. When we wanted to pay, no one came and we had to wait 20 minutes. I went there for the first time today and only ordered a cappuccino. Unfortunately, I felt uncomfortable from the start. The seats were covered in crumbs and even a wet, unidentifiable substance. Instead of the staff noticing and cleaning it on their own, I had to point it out. The cleaning was then only superficial. The crumbs were simply wiped onto the floor, which was already very dirty, with a damp cloth. The seats remained wet, and I had to dry them myself with a napkin to even be able to sit down. The floor was so dirty that I felt like my shoes were standing on old food scraps. So I left earlier than planned. My polite feedback about the hygiene was met with a simple "I didn't see it." Unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant experience. I won't be back. Overall, the place was not inviting at all.

I'm writing this review because I generally love visiting this restaurant. I've been a regular on weekends for two years, sometimes even twice on a Saturday. Although the construction project is still ongoing, the location is very lively and entertaining. The food is delicious, and the drinks are good. Over the past six months, I've noticed a significant change in the staff—unfortunately, not for the better. The new staff seems ruder, more impatient, and even less competent. I politely request that some improvements be made here, as I really enjoy coming here and would like to continue doing so.

Today, we waited over 25 minutes for service in a half-empty restaurant after being handed the menu. Several attempts to contact us failed. Unfortunately, the lady was busy with a personal conversation. So we just left.

A cozy spot in the heart of the city—perfect for enjoying a coffee while observing the hustle and bustle of Marktstrasse. My latte macchiato was really good, and the avocado toast was also delicious. Still, a slice of bread, some avocado, a dollop of tomato salsa, and two scrambled eggs for €14.90—that's out of proportion for me. The portion was simply too small, even considering the central location. The taste was excellent, but the value for money could be improved.

This was my second time there. The service was always very unfriendly! I ordered a Prosecco spritzer with ice, but instead received a Prosecco without ice. When I asked if it was a spritzer, the waitress replied "yes" in an emphatic tone. But it wasn't! The espresso arrived without sugar, and by the time I could order and get it, the espresso was cold. My table had a lot of stains from the start and was still wet from the previous guests. Unfortunately, the table wasn't cleaned. While sorting the tables and chairs, a chair hit me in the back. No "sorry." Disagreements between employees are aired in front of the guests, and the facial expressions towards the guests are also very unfriendly. I come from the restaurant industry myself and understand that it can sometimes be very stressful in the summer. But the fact is: it's not the guest's fault. Definitely my last visit!

Today, I went to the Cotidiano restaurant in Stuttgart with my girlfriend. On my last visit with friends, everything was excellent – ​​the food was delicious and the service outstanding. Unfortunately, we didn't like it this time: My girlfriend was served a bowl of rice – the rice was completely stuck together in a lump. At 10:15 PM (although the restaurant is open until 11:00 PM), the waitress loudly moved all the chairs from the unoccupied tables onto the tables, placing many chairs directly on the tabletops. She then brought in large, clattering vases of flowers from outside. This significantly disrupted the peaceful atmosphere in the restaurant and spoiled the overall impression. Furthermore, the waitress informed us at 9:45 PM that the kitchen was closed and we couldn't order any more food. Apparently, the kitchen was only open until 9:30 PM. Why weren't we informed of this at 9:00 PM? We wanted to order dessert. Overall, we left the restaurant disappointed today.

I went there for dinner with my wife this evening for the first time. The service was very friendly and, surprisingly, spoke Italian. This made my wife feel at ease, as her German isn't very good; she thoroughly enjoyed her stay. In any case, we were well looked after and served. We had the mixed starter for dinner, which was beautifully presented and also delicious. Kudos to the kitchen. I'm also very grateful to the manager, who spontaneously introduced himself as Thanu, for inviting me and my wife to dessert and coffee for our 70th anniversary. This was definitely not the last time we'll be there. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience.

The window seats are completely out of the service perspective. Nobody looks here and you have to walk up to the counter yourself to order something. Unfortunately, the avocado bowl didn't taste good. There was a lot of rice hidden under the other ingredients, far too much for my taste and that ruined the bowl. Service desert, dirty tables and only wiped after the third time, the cloth was so wet that your fingers were dripping when the coffee was served. And bam the milk jug flew to the floor and broke. But the milk stayed on the floor and unfortunately the coffee wasn't in the cup.

The location is very good, right on the market square. The seating outside is extremely tight. I think it should be better coordinated. The waitress seemed to be new to the restaurant. When I asked for a menu, she said we'd have to wait... Weird. We were already seated at a table. Unfortunately, there was no option to leave bags or hang them at the table. The waitress was the only one outside. We had very good weather that day. It was completely full, which can quickly become overwhelming for one person. The menu is more geared towards brunch/breakfast. Less lunch, etc. The food consisted mainly of various burgers. The Chicken Caesar Burger was okay, but with the ceaser sauce, it had too much apple cider vinegar and was therefore overpowering. The fries, on the other hand, were 10/10. Really nice and crispy, not like regular fries. - The only reason I would go again. Why do you get a 0.2 liter juice spritzer in a glass that's also used for a water glass with espresso? For €3.20??! That's unacceptable! Visually speaking, it's just... There are better places; fancy doesn't necessarily mean good. 2.5/5

Guys, I don't know what's wrong with you, but really bad food was served today. We had a good experience some time ago and want to repeat the visit. Now we're sitting at home with a stomach ache. It doesn't work that way. Beef citizens too fatty, crispy chicken from the freezer and fries without any taste. So you could do that better. Wake up a bit and don't serve your guests something like that.

Actually a nice place - unfortunately again disappointing service from one person I've been here many times and have always been satisfied - the location is nice and the offering is right. Unfortunately, I always notice one employee in a negative way: a gentleman who often serves outside is regularly unfriendly and quickly seems annoyed. Today I asked for regular white sugar and got brown sugar with marshmallows instead. When I asked, he was visibly annoyed and said that this was the only sugar available - even though I later found white sugar myself. It's a shame, because such situations with exactly this employee are unfortunately no exception. This spoils the otherwise wonderful experience every time.

We went there for a late breakfast on a Sunday in mid-March. We didn't have a reservation, but we were lucky and managed to get a spot. It seemed that the spot was very popular, people went in and out and there was a huge rush. Despite there being a lot to do, we received friendly service and the drinks and food came very quickly. Everything tasted delicious (smoothie, pretzel croissant; only the pink latte gets a point deducted). In my opinion, the prices are reasonable for the spot and the unusual, "hip" dishes on offer.

We are arriving around 15:30 for lunch. It's amazing. We had oriental bowls with zwiefalter dark beer. Very good. Highly recommended.

As a topping there were 2 more! Raspberries and 2!blueberries. We were served by a lady and a young man. The young man probably wanted to make a casual comment and asked in the presence of our women whether I was a pimp because I had two cell phones on the table. But the waitress tops everything. After we waited 20 minutes to even be able to say that we wanted to pay, the lady came rudely and collected the money. We still left a tip and didn't receive a thank you or a goodbye. I'll write this here now. This store will no longer exist by the end of the year. Nobody does this to themselves twice!

We had the avocado burger and the chicken yogurt bowl. Both cost €17.90 each. The bowl was very tasty, but unfortunately the burger wasn't at all - the patty didn't taste like it was freshly prepared, the bun tasted very sweet and there was neither tomato nor lettuce on the burger. Generally a nice atmosphere in the restaurant, very friendly service, but in our opinion not necessarily recommended for food given the prices.

Offering is great, that's why we're in. Food was served lukewarm. The club sandwich was ok, the fries were rancid and soggy. Yesterday we were there, today I hung more on and over the toilet. Never again.
