Great restaurant with extremely nice staff and wonderful food that you don't find that often

Friendly team, varied menu, fresh dishes. The cuisine is a successful fusion of Hawaii and Vietnam, although the Vietnamese influence on the menu appears significantly greater. Tip: The chicken satay skewers are a bit inconspicuous on the menu, but are super tasty.

The food was very good - not cheap, but you can do it again 👍🏻😊 The service was okay - he didn't know why he pulled our table for four apart (there were two of us, but apart from three other guests it remained empty until we left, so there was actually no need and it caused unrest). A deduction for the ambience because the logo outside was cleaned with a champagne cooler instead of a cleaning bucket. So maybe don't order champagne and above all hope that the kitchen works differently 🙄

We had a great evening today at Maui am Rotkreuzplatz. The food was great and the prices were really reasonable. The entire service team was extremely friendly and attentive, even though all hell was breaking loose.

A little trip to Hawaii! It was an extraordinary experience for my family, from booking to the end. In addition to the other dishes, I particularly enjoyed the mussels in coconut sauce.

We are there several times for lunch. The service is pretty slow there. This time we were there in the evening and the service was quite quick. They are always friendly 😊 The food is really so delicious. We love it there. The only thing that bothered us was that we were brought to a table for 8 people that wasn't made for 8 if everyone should have enough space. The decoration that separated our table from the table for two next to it was very annoying. She was constantly shaking 😅 you might want to rethink that. But otherwise great! 😊 Clear recommendation!

A nicely furnished restaurant, although the chairs are already very worn. The outside area is large and nicely done. The staff is very friendly and quick. The menu is clear and beautifully designed, the card is a bit sticky and a thorough cleaning would be appropriate. The portions are very large and filling. The food is ok and nothing special. I found it disappointing that there were no dips with the bowl and it wasn't particularly original. You can get a bowl like this pretty much everywhere. There is a lot of room for improvement in terms of taste and I would have liked the corn, for example, to be dressed a bit and the radish is very unimaginative. I found the starter plate too expensive and disappointing in comparison.

What a great find!! Never been to a Hawaian Restaurant before but i will be back for sure!! I loved everything about our visit, the Tofu and the Shrimp Poke Bowls were to die for, a bit expensive but huuuge! The Cocktails were perfectly mixed and the Mocchi Variations for dessert were not only super yummy but also exactly the right size to share. Our waitress was lovely, super friendly and smiling all night 🤩 The interior takes you right into a warm, sunny vacation. Beach vibes!! ❤️❤️❤️

But unfortunately the worst thing was the service, the waitress was so unfriendly that I even told him: they were so rude and arrogant, I still give them a tip and they can't even say thank you? First of all: We had a lovely evening! And the food - bowls and appetizers - were really tasty, plentiful, fresh and beautifully presented! The fact that it took 40 minutes for our order to arrive (two tables in our field of vision received their food before us, even though they were in the restaurant later than us) disappointed us. And no, that wasn't because the kitchen takes time. That's certainly the case. But it was simply because the service person was incredibly inattentive: he only showed up after 20 minutes to take the order. Then he walked past us several times without noticing us (yes, yes, we tried to draw attention to ourselves). In the 2 hours we were in MAUI we weren't even asked if we needed any more drinks. Then I had to actively ask. But then he just left, even though I was still talking to him - without taking any of the empty glasses or bottles from the table or bringing a new drink. But, as I said - we had a lovely evening and good food! The Poké Bowls are really good!!!

I had dinner there this evening with a smaller group and had made a reservation. The furnishings and feeling in the restaurant are great, you immediately feel welcome and very comfortable. The staff is welcoming, cheerful and you receive prompt service. The restaurant is colorfully and variedly decorated, really beautiful and a colorful spot in modern minimalism. We had starters, non-alcoholic cocktails and main courses. The cocktails and appetizers were incredible, especially the baos were to die for. The whole table was thrilled with the first course and we were really looking forward to the main course. Unfortunately the main courses were disappointing compared to the first course. Flaxy meat, parts of the portion were barely seasoned in places, other dishes that were not marked as spicy clearly had too much chili. Only the Hawaii Bowl was convincing. Apart from the person with the bowl, no one was really impressed with the main courses, but given the service and the excellent starters, that's not so bad in my opinion. Maybe our expectations were just too high. My poor rating for the food comes from the aftermath of the evening. When driving home I was plagued by headaches, stomach aches and nausea. At times I had to take breaks on the journey, which normally only lasted 1.5 hours, to get some fresh air and be able to concentrate and drive again. There was something I couldn't stand at all, so I won't be visiting this restaurant again. I really wish that my experience was an isolated case.

You immediately feel very comfortable in Mauii and a holiday feeling sets in. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the service is fantastic, the food is delicious, and the non-alcoholic cocktails taste great too. Aloha!

The food is very delicious, it's a shame that the poke rice came out a little too hot for a dish that would have been completely cold, but it was very tasty. The service was a little confusing, there were only 2 waiters to serve the restaurant, which took a while, you could see some customers going up to the counter to ask for the bill, it would probably be better on weekends with more people working. Even so, the food came quickly and fresh.

We spontaneously went there for dinner after an appointment in Munich. Called shortly beforehand. 📞 Everything was totally uncomplicated and the team was super nice! The service was great and the waitresses were super nice. Our food was brought to the table very quickly 🤗 The bowls have a great sauce and we loved the chilli mayo 🤤

The food didn't blow us away. We had various baos and the crispy spring rolls. The rolls were a bit too greasy for my taste. You can now get the baos in this shape at any standard Asian restaurant. A big plus point is the ambience. Colorful and invitingly furnished. We can still recommend this restaurant. Next time I'll choose a delicious bowl.

Went there on a weekday for lunch without a reservation and was able to get a table right away. I had the Maui Box (with tuna poki bowl) and my companion had the Maui Menu (with salmon poki bowl) both were good, but I would say the Maui Menu is a better value for money. The interiors and ambiance was nice, while the service was quick and friendly. Would definitely come back to try the dinner menu.

More Asian than Hawaiian. Service inattentive. You have to call. It was incredibly hot, even with short sleeves. Eating, well.

The food was delicious, everything was fresh and well seasoned. It was fun to try the dishes :) The service was good at the beginning, but the drinks came later and later with each passing hour, even after repeated requests...so overall it was still a successful and tasty evening.

Addendum: My previous review was deleted. The owner claims it is a fake review. Paid with EC card and verifiable! The atmosphere is nice, the employees are polite. However, we had the feeling that there weren't enough employees on site and that a lot of things were building up, e.g. we were finished with the starter, main courses were being served and the starter plates were left lying around. Unfortunately it somewhat spoils the impression. The poke bowl tasted delicious. My main course of lemon grass chicken was ok.

Were there at lunchtime. The food was very tasty and the service was quick and very polite. The price is also absolutely ok. The evening menu will be tried out soon.

Today we ordered from Maui again for a long time, as a practice team, and we were really looking forward to it. Unfortunately we were very disappointed because the food was not satisfactory. It was very spicy, even though it wasn't described as such, the vegetables were very roughly chopped, the mango salad, which cost €8, was a very, very small portion and the peanut sauce on the satay chicken skewers had run out. What a shame!

It is very unfortunate and incomprehensible that it is not possible to obtain normal tap water despite demand. I'm happy to pay for this service, but I think it's a shame that only bottled water is available. For both quality and environmental reasons, Munich tap water would be the better choice.

We celebrated our daughter's birthday here. Food was great, service was great, dessert was a chocolate souffle with a sparkler ☺️. Thank you for the great evening!

Fresh vegetables. “Spicy” is spicy. The food is heavily based on Asian cuisine. But that doesn't affect the taste at all. Gladly again!

An absolutely overpriced restaurant! The service was very accommodating, very polite, very attentive, that has to be said! The restaurant gets all stars for the service. BUT The food tasted like nothing!! The soup tasted like nothing at all, like water with a dash of coconut milk, chicken meat almost unrecognizable, strange leaves in the soup and tasted really horrible, like it had been reheated ten times! Sweet potato with coconut foam without taste this dish was completely without spices without salt without anything. Main course a fried rice in a pineapple. It was just fried egg rice, no longer without taste. For us it was very disappointing. We would not recommend the restaurant. We are sorry! A water, a small Zero Cola, Lillet, Coconatkiss alcohol-free, two plates of soup, sweet potato with coconut foam (starter) and eggs and rice in a pineapple €81 RESPECT!!!

A somewhat small restaurant, but with a lot of ambience and taste ;) Were a group of 6, the service was humorous and lively. Your starter was very good. I thought the gyozas were the best. A little too much coriander, so I put fresh peppermint in my water glass. Service didn't charge for it either, I thought it was nice. My salmon bowl wasn't great, but solidly good. Everyone became a sentence too.

Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt ansich. Für mich persönlich war es etwas scharf. Hatte ein Gericht bestellt wo nichts von scharf stand, aber hat trotzdem gut geschmeckt. Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und das Essen kam mega schnell. Lokal ist schön eingerichtet. Kommen bestimmt Mal wieder.

Cute little restaurant with a pretty good amount of seating. Went here today for Lunch and regret not taking pictures. We had the Lunch Pho and Hanoi lunch plate and 2 sodas. Total was just under €30. The pricing was nice compared to the high prices at other places. Food was delicious and the service was quick. Loved how the menus weren’t overloaded with food items. To be honest, it feels more like Vietnamese and Thai with some Sushi items as well than Hawaiian. But still, it was tasty and glad that the prices weren’t crazy as everywhere else. Just under €10 for the Pho and the Hanoi lunch plate is about €13.5 or something (it came with a small appetizer 2 dumplings or a soup, main entre and then a small dessert or Espresso). The restrooms were also really clean! Will come here again!

Wir haben die Fried Rice Bowl mit Ente mittags bestellt. Gericht kam innerhalb von 5 Minuten, lauwarm, nichts mit Crispy zu tun. War nicht frisch vorbereitet leider. Ich war zum ersten mal bei Maui und kann die guten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Vllcht ist es abends anders..Schade NEU!!! Ich wurde neulich von Mauis Anwalt aufgeforfert, meine Review zu löschen weil ich angäblich nicht da war!! Zum Glück hatte ich noch die Rechnung dabei und konnte es beweisen! So sieht es nicht aus, als Maui an Verbesserungsvolschläge interessiert ist, so wie im Anwaltsbrief stand..

Wieder einmal konnte ich in München sein und besuchte wiederum das Maui. Ich habe es wieder in vollen Zügen genossen. Leckeres Essen, freunldicher Staff und ein rundum wohlfühliger Abend.

Ich war noch niiiiemals auf Hawaii 😃 falls das Essen aber wie im Maui schmecken sollte: hin da! Sehr lecker, teilweise ungewohnte Geschmäcker, sehr schön angerichtet! Auch die Cocktails waren richtig gut! Absolute Empfehlung!

Super schönes Ambiente mit Urlaubsfeeling. Wir haben nur mehreren Cocktails probiert und ein netter Ober hat uns super beraten. Er konnte jede von uns das richtige Getränk empfehlen. Vielen Dank dafür. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Essen war richtig richtig lecker. Der Service könnte ein bisschen proaktiver sein und z.B. erklären, was in dem Fläschchen ist, welches mit dem Hauptgang serviert wurde. Die Location ist wirklich sehr schön & einladend, allerdings war es sehr kalt durch die aufgehende EIngangstür. Wir kommen gerne wieder - das nächste Mal im Sommer bei angenehmen Temperaturen ;)

Essen war top. Allerdings war der Service etwas dürftig - lange Wartezeit usw. Man hatte das Gefühl dass man zu zweit unter den ganzen Weihnachtsgesellschaften unterging. Zudem wurde uns erstmal die falsche Rechnung auf den Tisch gelegt. Ich hatte dort schon bessere Besuche.

Essen und Service top! Die Tische sind teilweise sehr eng gestellt, wenn das Lokal ausgebucht ist.

Very nice interior decoration, cosy place and friendly staff, fast service. The restaurant is offering some kind of fusion and combination dishes which are with predominantly Asian influence like Vietnamese and Thai, not Hawaiian in that sense. Unfortunately, food quality was mediocre at best. The Huli Huli chicken for example was overcooked made of rather cheap chicken meat, the Taco Bao were rather bland in taste as was the salmon sushi. Cocktails were either nearly half just ice or only with a dash of whatever alcohol should be in it. Overall low value for a rather high price.

Essen war gut. Leider ließ der Service zu Wünschen übrig. War zwar nett aber nicht gerade schnell und auch nicht aufmerksam. Getränke bestellen war nicht gut möglich. Zum bezahlen war die Wartezeit mit etwa 20 Minuten zu lange. Auch wenn das Lokal gut besucht war. Man hätte gut und gerne noch zusätzlich 40 bis 50 Euro mit Getränken umsetzen können wenn jemand zur Bestellannahne gekommen wäre. Bestelltes Getränk wurde dann einfach vergessen. Aber wie schon erwähnt war das Essen qualitativ gut. Evtl. sieht es mit dem Service an anderen Tagen anders aus. Das war heute für uns nur eine Momentaufnahme. Im großen und ganzen kann man das Maui schon mal probieren und dann selbst für sich entscheiden.

Ich war am Donnerstag da. Wundervoller Service und außerordentlich Freundliches Personal komme gerne wieder.

Wir haben am Samstag sehr spontan ein Lokal zu zweit in der Nähe vom Rotkreuzplatz gesucht. Voller Hoffnung sind wir ins Maui gegangen und tatsächlich bekamen wir spontan einen Tisch. Das war schon mal top! Service war freundlich und brachte uns auch gleich die Karte. Wir entschieden uns für 2 Cocktails, für die Mahalo Plate für 2 Personen und für 2 kleine Suppen. Und auf einmal ging alles super schnell. Noch bevor wir die Cocktails hatten, bekamen wir schon die Suppen. Kaum angefangen zu essen, kamen schon die Vorspeisen (teilweise auch warme Gerichte dabei). Als Randnotiz und Spaß habe ich dem Service-Mitarbeiter gesagt, dass hoffentlich die Hauptgerichte noch nicht gleich kommen. Lachend hat er das verneint. Und 2 Minuten später waren die Hauptgerichte auch schon am Tisch. Wir mussten dann relativ schnell essen damit der Rest des Essens nicht kalt wurde. Und da der Tisch voll gestellt war, hatten wir auch kaum Platz zum essen. Super nervig. Generell ist das Essen ok. Nicht schlecht, aber auch nichts besonderes. Zum Ambiente muss ich sagen, dass es ziemlich laut war. Aber gut, es waren auch viele Menschen im Restaurant. Ansonsten ist das Lokal sehr schön dekoriert. Als wir bezahlen wollten (mit EC) kam der Kellner auch gleich mit dem Kartenlese-Gerät. Er zeigte uns die Rechnung und hat uns dezent aber sehr beharrt gezeigt, dass wir beim Trinkgeld doch den Knopf mit den 10% drücken sollen. Wir waren ein wenig überrumpelt weil er auch schon gleich den Betrag mit den 10% ins EC-Gerät getippt hat. Anschließend erklärte er uns wie praktisch es doch sei gleich diesen Knopf zu haben und wir nicht 10% von der Rechnung im Kopf berechnen müssten. Wir zahlten, aber im Nachhinein hätten wir schon allein wegen dem mittelmäßigen Service keine 10% Trinkgeld gegeben. Außer die paar Kleinigkeiten, war das Lokal ok. Würden aber eher nicht nochmal dahin gehen.

Sehr gutes Essen. Der Service ist unglaublich gut. Ich kenne kein traditionelles Hawaiianisches Essen abwe wenn es so ist, wie hier geh ich gerne öfter zum Hawaiianer
