MAUI Hawasian Kitchen & Bar in München

The food was delicious, but I was particularly impressed by the service: Our young waiter was attentive, friendly, and always on hand. Thanks to him, we felt completely at home – highly recommended!

The food was simply fantastic. Definitely a must for anyone who loves Hawaiian cuisine or just wants to try something new. Happy to come back!

The food is good, the cocktails are good, but I find it very questionable that you are not allowed to order tap water (not even if you are heavily pregnant) in addition to other drinks and instead have to buy at least a carafe of “detox water”. Therefore unfortunately only 2 stars. In my opinion, this is a fundamentally wrong attitude towards the guest.

The 4 of us were in Maui for drinks and I wanted to order a shot of Don Julio Tequila and was wondering why the barman had filled it with gin. When the shot arrived, it was actually gin and I asked for the right tequila to be poured into it. By chance I saw a much cheaper tequila being poured into me. After asking several times, I got the right tequila that was still in the original packaging. For me that is really very unprofessional and an absolute no-go!

For once it was quite tasty, but unfortunately I didn't like it 100% in terms of taste nor did I find the atmosphere really pleasant. At first it seemed like an Instagram spot to me. I also found the scan codes where you can win €200 with a rating of 5 stars on Google impossible.

It's okay overall. Food was OK. Actually tasty, but already expensive, so it's just OK. Service took forever to get served. Maybe too few staff. I think 3-4 stars is fine.

To be honest, I can't understand all the very good reviews. The food is okay, but not wow. We had Maui Grill. Of course I didn't have a scale with me, but I'm convinced that the amount of meat stated in the menu and that served front and back were wrong. The supplements were also clear. The price-performance ratio in this restaurant is not right at all. Decoration is nice, service so-so. I wanted to try something original for an event, but it won't be the place. Too bad.

First impression: good interior design, foods look also normal But after the taste 🤩 Chicken was sooo tender, and the sauce of the sake bowl was so perfectly seasoned. It was extraordinary Must-tried: cocktails!! Bravo bartender. Tiramisu shot was fantastic

I had a very nice evening in MAUI. A great mix of Hawaii & Asia - both in terms of the choice of food and the ambience (decor). The cocktails as well as the food were fantastic! The service was also very friendly, quick and attentive. Price-performance absolutely justified. Finding a parking space, at least in the evening, could be a challenge. But very well connected by public transport. A very clear recommendation from me!👍

An all-around successful visit! The young woman Sosi was extremely friendly and competent, and we immediately felt at home. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Service and ambience were Terrific. The food was okay. Something was missing somehow. We thought it was stupid that there were cans of vegetables, for example. E.g. the mushrooms. Before there is something like that, just leave it out. The tofu was very good. It was very seasoned. A lot of restaurants can't do that. Cocktails were delicious, the waiters/waitresses were courteous and nice. Very quick and attentive. Maybe you're too spoiled by other people's food. Cleanliness is excellent. Toilets are clean as well as the entire inventory. You feel good.

All in all a nice restaurant with delicious food and very good value for money. Only the service could be better - the service was friendly, but had to be reminded several times about orders. Nevertheless, the restaurant is definitely worth another visit.

We were very satisfied and would like to come back. The food and drinks are great and the place is very lovingly designed. The toilets are clean, but a bit cool and rather sparse - I personally would have expected it differently given the atmosphere in the restaurant. But everything was really great.

I really enjoy going here :) The food is delicious, the staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is simply relaxed. In terms of prices, I think it's okay too. I just find the appetizer platter for 2 people for 33.80 euros a bit excessive.

Our visit to Maui was good. The food was tasty but not exceptional. So you can eat the bowl and Huli Huli Chicken we ate cheaper elsewhere. All in all a good restaurant, nice atmosphere, good service, but overall too expensive. It remains unclear whether we will come back again.

The food was average, the service had American characteristics and unfortunately made the visit uncomfortable. At 9:45 p.m. we were asked to pay even though the restaurant doesn't close until 11 p.m. on Saturday.

Good quality food, nice atmosphere and fast service. The menu is very similar to that of a Vietnamese restaurant. If you like higher Vietnamese cuisine, you will enjoy it in Maui.

Very good food. Staff and service great. We had the Maui grill... a small improvement as an alternative to the aluminum foil was a Teflon coated plate. Then it would be perfect!!!!

I don’t know why this restaurant are so highly ranked. Completely normal food, you can find it in a lot of Japanese restaurants. What surprised us - we ordered boul with fresh tuna, etc and avocado . 3 small pieces of avocado , ashamed of you. You want that customer enjoy the meal … for sure not. Maybe Munich ‘special’. We ordered additional 20 small pieces of avocado in order to add the meal for additional payment. Absolutely disappointed !!!

I ordered basil sauce with beef and rice, but there was hardly any meat in it. It seems like someone ate all of the beef in front of me. At these prices you expect to get what you pay for. It was tasty, but not worth the price 🙄🙄🙄

Delicious food Top service Affogato is on the menu with 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream and espresso plus chocolate sprinkles, but only one scoop of vanilla ice cream was served without any decoration.

Absolutely great :) Really very good service. Members of our group were even asked what they would like to eat while smoking - I think that's hard to beat when the waiter even runs out specifically for it. The food was great, would be happy to come again at any time :)

Unfortunately, the food was expensive because the portions were quite small and unfortunately it didn't taste that good. Unfortunately, service was not optimal. As a large group we were moved again to another, much smaller table, where we then had to eat squashed together. Unfortunately, the service staff wasn't in a good mood and wasn't very friendly, but also stressed. Maybe that was the case, but it's still a shame. We really left a lot of money there and at the end we weren't convinced by the evening.

Very cute and lovingly furnished restaurant, the food is more Asian than Hawainese but it is really incredibly tasty, very beautifully prepared and of high quality. There is a good selection of vegan dishes, but the allergen labeling is not correct everywhere. Please correct it :)

Very nicely decorated restaurant. The Bao BBQ Pork is highly recommended. Everything has always been very good so far. We have enjoyed going here for years. Staff always friendly too.

We were a group of 4 with a reservation. Staff very friendly, food was good, 2 of 4 dishes (vegi & salmon bowl) were very oily. Taste was okay. Service misunderstood the drinks but immediately offered a replacement. Ambiance is very nice and fits the theme, but also very narrow and therefore rather loud.

Impossible service, makes you wait 10 minutes and then summons you to the order board in an extremely unfriendly manner. Sad!

Despite booking several days in advance, we "only" got a table in the entrance area by the door - four of us. Food was delicious, lemongrass pannacotta dessert was tipped/fermenting, both complained and got new ones!

Sorry but for the price I expect more.....The dishes should all come the same. / The drinks should come before the meal as ordered. Then the starter and a little later the main course. The topic of sauce...6 drops on a slate plate is decoration for me but not sauce....Cocktail Mai Tai you shouldn't be able to go wrong, even for a beginner or new person, but it was thinner than beer. Honestly never again.

Friendly team, varied menu, fresh dishes. The cuisine is a successful fusion of Hawaii and Vietnam, although the Vietnamese influence on the menu appears significantly greater. Tip: The chicken satay skewers are a bit inconspicuous on the menu, but are super tasty.

The food was very good - not cheap, but you can do it again 👍🏻😊 The service was okay - he didn't know why he pulled our table for four apart (there were two of us, but apart from three other guests it remained empty until we left, so there was actually no need and it caused unrest). A deduction for the ambience because the logo outside was cleaned with a champagne cooler instead of a cleaning bucket. So maybe don't order champagne and above all hope that the kitchen works differently 🙄

A little trip to Hawaii! It was an extraordinary experience for my family, from booking to the end. In addition to the other dishes, I particularly enjoyed the mussels in coconut sauce.

We are there several times for lunch. The service is pretty slow there. This time we were there in the evening and the service was quite quick. They are always friendly 😊 The food is really so delicious. We love it there. The only thing that bothered us was that we were brought to a table for 8 people that wasn't made for 8 if everyone should have enough space. The decoration that separated our table from the table for two next to it was very annoying. She was constantly shaking 😅 you might want to rethink that. But otherwise great! 😊 Clear recommendation!

A nicely furnished restaurant, although the chairs are already very worn. The outside area is large and nicely done. The staff is very friendly and quick. The menu is clear and beautifully designed, the card is a bit sticky and a thorough cleaning would be appropriate. The portions are very large and filling. The food is ok and nothing special. I found it disappointing that there were no dips with the bowl and it wasn't particularly original. You can get a bowl like this pretty much everywhere. There is a lot of room for improvement in terms of taste and I would have liked the corn, for example, to be dressed a bit and the radish is very unimaginative. I found the starter plate too expensive and disappointing in comparison.

What a great find!! Never been to a Hawaian Restaurant before but i will be back for sure!! I loved everything about our visit, the Tofu and the Shrimp Poke Bowls were to die for, a bit expensive but huuuge! The Cocktails were perfectly mixed and the Mocchi Variations for dessert were not only super yummy but also exactly the right size to share. Our waitress was lovely, super friendly and smiling all night 🤩 The interior takes you right into a warm, sunny vacation. Beach vibes!! ❤️❤️❤️
