Very dark inside, portions are rather small despite the high prices. Unfortunately, the quality of the food wasn't as expected either. Edit for clarity (answer to owner): my salad dressing was too vinegary (for me). The portion was such that I wasn't full, even though I had a relatively expensive dish. The meat was not tender. But I would also like to mention that the service was very friendly. Next time I will speak more openly.

ATTENTION: Loved it before - now disappointed twice because it is closed even though it should be open. The first time I thought it was an exception - now I assume that they are permanently closed.

Update July 2024: We have been ordering regularly for years now and have to say that the quality and size of the bowls have fluctuated since the change of ownership. Sometimes everything is great as always, but often not. One day everything is swimming in sauce, the next day everything is terribly dry. How much is put into the bowl depends very much on the staff. Sometimes you don't pack the portion and sometimes it's very little. We still think the selection and composition options for the bowls are great, but they could use a little more effort overall. ******************************************** Great selection of fresh ingredients. The homemade sauces are super delicious. The large bowl fills you up for the whole day! You can put everything together online at your leisure and then conveniently pick it up or have it delivered. The completely recyclable bowls are a great bonus to the concept! An enrichment for Griesheim and an integral part of our weekly meal plan!

Food is very good. Unfortunately, it's a bit underwhelming for me. The service is always nice and friendly. However, it is self-service and you pay directly when you pick up the goods. This gives the otherwise stylish and cool restaurant a bit of canteen flair.

It's a shame, Hanse Bowl has closed. BUT how cool is it that there is an even better bowl shop right next to it. JayJay's! As they say, “Bowls without the fuss.” And damn YES, you can taste it. My absolute tip: Vegan Tofu Bowl and Juice No. 2

Nice little restaurant. Lovingly designed with an eye for detail. It really has something Hawaiian about it and you immediately feel relaxed. Unfortunately, the food wasn't quite my thing. Next time I would try putting it together myself. The portions were very large and therefore difficult to estimate. This is actually very justified for the price, but I would like a little more advice, especially for someone inexperienced like me. Since the staff was very friendly and the price was justified, I can't complain. The smoothies are great.

Rather inconspicuous from the outside, you can expect a great, relaxed atmosphere at AuxBowls. The food is fresh, healthy and really tasty! The employees are very nice and helpful. Perfect atmosphere with a touch of Hawaii – absolutely recommended!
