It was my first time there and I ordered a Kutscherpfanne (coachman's pan), which is listed on the menu with three types of meat and fried potatoes. The three types were actually two pieces of turkey, cut into small pieces and topped with a piece of beef. The fried potatoes were cooked in a deep fryer. It wasn't a lunch special, and for €24.90, it wasn't a special offer either; the quality offered was a disaster.

We've been there twice now and are thrilled again: very good food and great service. Top!

What a wonderful evening of enjoyment at Bernd & Anne Ratjen's! If you love to cook, enjoy food, are curious, and appreciate regional products, you've come to the right place. The two of them lead the evening with interest, attention, and friendliness, including the recounting of the family history. Here you can feel the long tradition and the awareness of the daily implementation of high quality standards. We were a nice little group that gathered for the cooking event – ​​it was a perfect fit! I'm a fan from today on! ...and I'll definitely be back soon to browse Aunt Anne's shop! Delicious, homemade dishes in jars for purchase, as well as various chutneys, homemade salts with different herbs, ketchup made from local plums, mustard... and, and, and...
