Nice place, with tables outside, in front of the park, Nice to have a good German beer and some sandwiches, the prices being a tourist area are a little high, but that's how it is, the lady who served us was very friendly, it rained and A beautiful rainbow came out, even the purple one could see, I recommend it to spend one August with people you love...

The ambience with a view of the Schlossplatz is really nice. The staff was attentive and our order was served quickly. We only had drinks, so unfortunately I can't say anything about the food. In terms of price, Martha's is reasonable, I think for the location. I would come again.

Great atmosphere to sit on the Schlossplatz. Staff quick and friendly. I had a currywurst that wasn't anything special, and fries that were so salty that your mouth was numb afterwards. There was only ketchup on the fries. Wiping your mouth with a napkin after eating is not an option. And the whole fun is extremely overpriced at around 20 euros

Pastrami sandwich with cranberries is super delicious. It is very warm in the restaurant and although there are a lot of staff there, you have to be prepared for waiting times. Nevertheless, it is a recommendation and a good spot for a delicious snack!

Unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated a lot and so has the permanent staff. Standing on the square, Schlossplatz catastrophe, cold red sausages not even grilled properly. Just slightly warmed. Complaints are not taken seriously, people laugh at them. I was at Martha's a lot, I sent a lot of friends there and took them with me, but now it's over, I'm never going to relax again, I want to say online.

If it has to be a curry sausage, then it's from Martha's. Very good sausage that doesn't drip with fat, delicious homemade sauce and high-quality bread.

It's a shame that on the day of the Scotland vs. Hungary match, the ToGo beer is also charged at Euro 4.90. I find that violent and a little bit outrageous. Here you should have charged a different price for ToGo beer.

The view is expensive. The food and coffee are tasty and the selection is also good, but the prices are already high. The service is friendly. Great, centrally located right next to the “Schlossplatz” subway with a view of the Schlossplatz!

Fantastic location on one of Germany's most beautiful squares. Quick and friendly service. The food is pretty good, too. Currywurst and fries are tasty. But prices are a bit over the top, even for Stuttgart. 11,30€ for a sausage and fries, 5,50€ for a beer.

Had a spontaneous meal with you today... Really very, very tasty!!!! Unfortunately, 5⭐ isn't enough... fries aren't greasy at all, let alone oily! With the rest, you can simply taste the quality 👍🏽🙏🏽 will definitely come back 🤩

Unfortunately the food is a disaster. The burger was below McDonald's quality for €16, the patty was gray and not minced meat, but a slice of sausage. Currywurst just as bad. I don't know what it was, but definitely not meat! I have no idea how this can have 4.5 stars. Nice atmosphere, but tourist trap.

We went here for dinner on a Saturday. We were immediately taken to a table but then had to wait a long time until we could order. Unfortunately, when we were paying, it took some time until someone noticed our call. Eye contact was difficult. However, the service staff were very polite and nice and we had eye contact at the table and everything was great. The drinks and food came very quickly and were delicious. The place under the parasol next to the castle square was really nice, because it was demarcated with plants, you hardly noticed all the people walking past you. We felt comfortable and will be back

As a vegetarian/vegan, be careful in this restaurant! On the menu, dishes (including tarte flambée with Comté cheese) are offered as vegetarian, but they are not vegetarian! Here it is important to adapt the menu and the dishes! Please adjust, @Marthas. Until then, unfortunately only one star.

Stopped here spontaneously. It's really nice to sit, great view and nice atmosphere - especially on the terrace. The food was great, I just wished that the caraway was mentioned on the menu when it was supplied so generously :o) But that didn't detract from the otherwise really good tarte flambée. The Maultaschen with potato salad was also a poem. Price wise for the location and “city” it’s okay. The service still has a bit of room for improvement, but given the large number of people, they really put in a lot of effort!

It felt like we waited an hour for service, the cola was ok but nothing special. The Holdunder spritzer was a complete failure, my colleague had better ones. Service completely ignores you when you want to pay

We read about this place as one of those not to be missed in Stuttgart. We stopped here after being treated badly in another restaurant and the warm welcome from the staff heartened us. The menu is really wide, offering local specialties at reasonable costs, without forgetting vegetarians and vegans. The magic came later: the quality of the food is truly excellent. Seeing is believing. The restaurant also has two outdoor spaces with tables and deck chairs that overlook the Castle square. Stop by to taste the quality local specialties!

Nice restaurant in a premium location on Schloßplatz, directly in front of the music pavilion built in 1871. There are, among other things, currywurst in different variations and the fries are the best in the city.

So that was the worst burger I've ever tried. This is what organic buffalo is supposed to be? I'll never come to you again! The waitresses still collected the money. Never again

We had a place outside on the loungers and could enjoy the sun. We really liked this. However, the prices are too high, just under €4 for a coffee that comes from the machine and the conditions were quite inattentive.

I'm always there, alone, with colleagues and with children. Currywurst is great, my son likes the tarte flambée, my daughter and I also like the fries. Service quick and good.

A mid-sized café in the middle of Stuttgart, right at the Schloßplatz. While the view is fantastic and perfect to just enjoy watching people, the service is very slow. We waited for 45 minutes just to receive our drinks. Not to mention the food that took another 15 minutes. Not very child-friendly as well. Some parts of the menu were not available, we were told that after 30 minutes. The food itself was average, nothing special. Coffee average at best. Overall, a disappointment.

Great location and beautiful view of the castle square. But unfortunately the staff couldn't convince. After a long wait (and repeated inquiries), we were only able to order very late (even though it wasn't too full). Our drinks took a long time and stood around in the staff area for a long time before they were served to us (which you don't really want with hot drinks). I can't say anything about the food, but the tarte flambée on the table next door looked very good :)

Unfortunately the burger was subpar. The frozen patties weren't fried properly and didn't taste like anything. It's been a long time since I've eaten such bad burger meat... The burger was also rather boring in terms of taste. For the price (17 euros with fries) you can really expect something different. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio isn't right at all. At least the fries were good.

We were guests on Sunday, unfortunately the Togo service was very slow. Ordered currywurst fries, unfortunately waited 20 minutes. We understand when there is a lot going on, but in the kitchen there was a bit of land… The fries were in the deep fryer for too short a time, so they were a bit too “liquid” and the currywurst was lukewarm…. Location is perfect on the square, limited snack options to go with your beer. We didn’t eat here. Everything is quite expensive but I guess you pay for the location on the square

Lovely place with delicious, simple food

I have been going there on and off for many years and can still recommend it with a few minor reservations. But at the last minute the Worscht was a bit spoiled.

Was there with friends and we wanted curry sausage special and spicy with fries… Order had to be placed twice for it to work… but it didn't. Unfortunately the currywurst didn't taste like anything, I complained but then it still had no taste but was a bit spicier. To the honor: the drinks are good. The hammer came to the end: We sat directly at the drinks shelf. Suddenly someone from the staff ran to the shelf and closed the shutter loudly and without warning us. Conclusion: I expect more for the price... and a bit of friendliness from the staff wouldn't hurt either

Einfach toll. Vorbeigelaufen und das Schild gesehen - Pastrami Sandwich. Sofort Lust bekommen und es absolut genossen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich mit Freude an der Arbeit und das Sandwich war wirklich ausgezeichnet. Tolles Brot, super Fleisch, alles regional. Komme sehr sehr gerne wieder.

Wir waren zu 4 und haben alle Currywurst mit Pommes bestellt. Die Pommes sind super knusprig und frisch. Die Currywurst war gut aber nichts spezielles. Das Konzept mit dem ausrufen des Namens funktioniert nicht so gut, von 4 Namen wurden 3 komplett falsch aufgenommen und auch sonst gab das ganze einen eher hektischen Eindruck. Ich würde hier ein Konzept mit Nummern vorschlagen. Das Personal ist jedoch super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Haben übrigens auch eine schöne Terasse.

Beste Currywurst mit Pommes weit und breit!

Das Fleisch schmeckt sehr lecker und frisch! Allerdings überwiegt leider der Brotgeschmack, sodass man das Fleisch nicht allzu lange schmeckt. Aber ich würde es definitiv nochmal essen!

Sehr freundlicher Service mit schönem Ambiente am Schlossplatz. Leider ist die Bezeichnung MaultaschEN auf der Speisekarte irreführend, da es tatsächlich nur eine größere Maultasche ist (geschmacklich jedoch recht lecker), der dazugehörige Kartoffelsalat ist leider auch convinience, für stolze 14,50€ etwas schade! Die bestellte Waffel zum Nachtisch war leider sehr trocken! Preis/Leistung daher etwas mangelhaft.

Ich hatte mir einen Salat mit Maultaschen bestellt. Leider ist er, für das was man bekommt, unverschämt teuer. Ein paar Blättchen grüner Salat, Krautsalat und Paprikastücken. Zu guter Letzt noch ein Klacks Kartoffelsalat und eine in Scheiben geschnittene Maultasche. Das beste daran war das geröstete Brot. Damit konnte man sich wenigstens satt essen. In einem anderen Lokal hätte ich dafür ein Schnitzel vom Kalb mit Beilagen bekommen. Schade, das war echt enttäuschend.

Ein sehr schöner Platz zum Sitzen. Man hat schönen Ausblick auf den Schlossplatz. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Preise sind schon gehoben, der Cappuccino zb. kostet 4,50 Euro, ist nicht besonders groß und es gibt nicht mal einen Keks dazu. Trotzdem alles in allem eine schöne Location.

Nichts außergewöhnliches. Sitzplätze im Innenbereich des Königsbau und außerhalb auf der Königsstraße. Preis für klassischen Flammkuchen für die Größe mit 11.90 Euro "gepfeffert". Geschmack: Gibt bessere. Bedienung war nett und aufmerksam.

Das Ambiente vorm Schlossplatz ist super! Bedienung Freundlich, sympathisch, schnell aber leider Punkt Abzug da niemand zwischendurch mal gefragt hat ob alles okay ist oder zum Schluss ob das Essen geschmeckt hat oder gut wäre. Der Kartoffelsalat war eiskalt, einfach ein No Go und die Maultaschen waren für mich keine Maultaschen. Ein Art Maultaschen ja, Zuwenig Füllung, Zeitschichten zwischen drinnen wo keine hingehören und zuviel Grün Zeug. Da passt das Verhältnis zum Fleisch nicht! Das Essen würde ich so nicht nochmal wollen.

Bei schönem Wetter auf dem Schlossplatz zu sitzen ist schon herrlich. Der Service ist gut und freundlich und das Essen ist gut. Nur die Preise steigen schon sehr und man fragt sich, wo das noch hinführen soll.

Nettes Ambiente und freundliche Bedienung, nach eigenen Angaben auch hochwertige Ausgangsprodukte. Aber: Die rote Currywurst (handgeschnitten) wie lauwarm aus der Mikrowelle ohne jegliche Röstspuren und somit auch wenig Geschmack , die Sauce fad, die Pommes nicht fertig frittiert und eine selbstbewusste Preisgestaltung. Mehr als drei Punkte sind so nicht drin! Update 2023: Nette Außengastronomie, aber rote Wurst und Currysoße nach wie vor fad. Mitarbeiter sind freundlich, aber nicht sonderlich aufmerksam. Und zumindest eine (Papier-) Serviette hätte ich erwartet, wenn ich mit 0,5l Bier rund 17,00 € Lehrgeld dagelassen habe.

Also ein Feinschmecker-Imbiss ist das für mich nicht. Man geht halt davon aus, dass hier die Tierhaltung stimmt. Das ist natürlich auch schon was, hoffe es zumindest! Currysoße naja, die Pommes mit 5!!! Euro als Beilage unerklärlich teuer. Da war ich wohl das letzte mal.

Aufmerksam wurden wir auf das Restaurant durch verschiedene Berichte über regionale Zutaten beim Angebot auf der Speisekarte. Die Lage der Terrasse am Rande des Schlossplatzes bot sich an, um einen kleinen Snack zum Abendessen bei trockenem Wetter zu sich zu nehmen. Auf der Karte stehen natürlich die bekannte Currywurst mit drei verschiedenen Wurstsorten zur Auswahl, dazu schwäbische Gerichte und Flammkuchen. Getränke kamen zügig, die Currywurst wurde in zwei einzelnen Schälchen (Porzellan) mit jeweils Pommesgabeln aus Holz serviert. Richtiges Besteck und Servietten gab es keine. Die Currywurst war lauwarm. Eine der Bedienungen sprach kein Deutsch, bei einer Frage gab es die Antwort: "Sorry, I don't understand." Ich saß mit meiner Freundin einige Zeit dort, wurde aber während dieser Zeit nicht ein einziges Mal gefragt, ob man noch einen Wunsch hätte. Alles in allem war das Essen okay, das gesamte Erlebnis "Martha's" hat aber Luft nach oben und wird in nächster Zeit auch nicht wiederholt werden.

Wirklich ein super Laden für den schnellen kleinen Hunger. Die Mitarbeiter/-innen sind freundlich und nett, und der Service ist zügig. Es gibt einige kleinere Gerichte, die vom Geschmack her sehr gut schmecken. Zu empfehlen ist der Flammkuchen 😋

Ich bin öfters hier gewesen, meistens über Stunden mit einer Freundin oder auf eine kurze Pause alleine. Martha‘s liegt sehr zentral im Königsbau am Schlossplatz (zu Fuß und mit den Öffentlichen prima zu erreichen). Man kann wahlweise innen sitzen oder draußen am Schlossplatz. Der Innenbereichen ist für Einzelpersonen sehr angenehm durch die Barhöcker und Theken-Essplätze. Speisekarten liegen auf den Theken und bei der Kasse. Man gibt seine Bestellung bei der Kasse auf und wenn die Speisen fertig sind, wird gerufen. Ab und zu wurden mir auch die Sachen gebracht, obwohl ich innen saß. Es ist gemütlich beleuchtet und in der Regel sauber (auch die Toiletten). Die Mitarbeiter waren bisher immer freundlich. Selbst bei größerem Betrieb hatte ich nie das Gefühl, besonders lange warten zu müssen. Diverse Kaffeegetränke (incl. Eiskaffee), die belgische Waffeln als auch die Flammkuchen, Currywurst und Pommes waren bisher immer ein Genuss. Auch das Bauernbrot fand ich immer schön fluffig und mit knuspriger Kruste. Die Preise sind zwar etwas höher als bei anderen, dennoch ist die Qualität bisher immer top gewesen und für regionale Produkte absolut gerechtfertigt. Martha’s kann ich sehr empfehlen.

Hier wird der Blick auf das Schloss mit bezahlt. Ein Hefeweizen für über 5€ . Kuchen über 4,50€.

Currywurst war sehr lecker und die frage ob ma scharf will ist berechtigt. Scharf ist wirklich schärfer aber noch angenehm. Die Bedingungen waren leicht überfordert aber es war auch sehr voll und sie haben viele neu angelernt. Trotzdem kam alles in schneller Zeit an.

Wollten kurz was essen und sind hier fündig geworden, Personal freundlich. Es lohnt sich rein zu schauen 👍

The location of the café is lovely, and the atmosphere is pleasant. However, I found the croissant to be stale and not fresh, and the cappuccino was acceptable. On top of that, the prices at this café are relatively high, making it overpriced. The staff was friendly, but despite the place not being crowded, it took them around 15-20 minutes between seating us and taking our order. Even though I had raised my hand for assistance, the waitress responded with "just a moment." Additionally, two of the workers at the café were using their phones inappropriately. One of them was sitting at a table, sending voice notes, and laughing loudly, all while wearing her work uniform. The other worker was talking on the phone loudly and making noise while cleaning the tables. Such behavior is unprofessional and disrupts the pleasant atmosphere of the café. Having worked in the field for years, such behavior could warrant termination. Seriously.

Sieht nicht nur ungenießbar aus, ist es auch. Der arme angebliche Albbüffel. Sieht aus wie eine dicke Salamischeibe ohne Geschmack wie der angebliche Bergkäse. Ekelhaft! Die Beschwerde wird einfach und unfreundlich abgetan. Service mangelhaft. Nie wieder.

Wir haben zu zweit auf der Terrasse gesessen und bestellt: die Kombi Weißwürste und Weizenbier und die Zitronenlimo mit der Kombi: Currywurst mit Pommes frites und Mayonnaise. Es kam die Zitronenlimo und Pommes Frites mit Ketchup, aber ohne Mayonnaise und ohne Currywurst. Wir haben reklamiert. Es kam ein Tütchen Mayonnaise (1 €), aber ohne Currywurst. Es kamen die Weißwürste, aber ohne das Weizen. Wir haben reklamiert. Die Pommes Frites wurden kalt. Wir haben erneut gebeten, die Currywurst und das Weizen zu bringen. Ohne Erfolg. Als wir mit Essen ohne Currywurst und Weizenbier nach 30 Minuten fertig waren, kam das Weizen. Ich habe abgelehnt. Wir wollten zahlen und haben uns bei der Bedienung über den Service beschwert. Sie gab uns recht und erklärte, wir müssten nur bezahlen, was auch gebracht worden sei. Total großzügig. Es sei gerade mit dem Personal etwas angespannt. Wir sind Stuttgarter und kennen viele gute Locations im Kessel, aber so etwas auf dem Schlossplatz ist eine Blamage bei den Besuchern unserer Stadt!

Im Aussenbereich, schnelle freundliche Bedienung, leckerer Flammkuchen, leckere selbstgemachte Limonade. Aktzeptables Preis Leistungs Verhältnis.

Mein Mann war hier früher öftrers essen und hat sich begeistert so ziemlich durch die ganze Speisekarte probiert, wenn er in der Nähe war. Nach langer Zeit waren wir heute mal wieder gemeinsam in Stuttgart unterwegs und sind zu Martha´s, zum einen weil uns das Konzept per se zusagt (regionales und nachhaltiges Slow / Soulfood) und er wieder diesen leckeren Albbüffelburger essen wollte. Leider muss man sagen, der Geschmack beim Albbüffelburger ist mit dem von früher nicht mehr vergleichbar (nicht gewürzt und tot gebruzzelt), die Maultaschen geschmälzt waren trocken (trotz Soße!) und auch der Kartoffelsalat war leider nix. Das Konzept finde ich grundsätzlich immer noch gut und auch gegen die Wartezeit ist m. E. nichts einzuwenden, wird ja frisch bei Bedarf zubereitet. Auch das hohe Preisniveau kann ich bei der Lage nachvollziehen, Aber wenn es nicht schmeckt, schmeckt es halt einfach nicht und das ist so schade!
