Schöne Terrasse bei schönem Wetter. Getränke. Ich hatte auch Currywurst mit Pommes. Die Wurst hätte etwas besser gewürzt sein können, die Soße war etwas fad und das Currypulver fand ich auch nicht besonders gut.

Einfach die beste Currywurst in Stuttgart! Und die warme frische belgische Waffel ist ein Traum.

Das ist ein authentisches deutsches Restaurant, das ich während einer Geschäftsreise besucht habe. Hier kann man Wurstgerichte genießen.

Die Getränke sind echt gut, auch die Location gefällt mir, weswegen ich immer wieder gerne dorthin gehe. Einziger Minuspunkt: mir ist jetzt zweimal passiert, dass mir was fälschlicherweise abkassiert wurde. So z.B. heute: ich hatte mein Getränk bezahlt und auf einmal kam nochmal ein Kellner und wollte nochmals bei mir abkassieren. Oder vor ein paar Monate: wahrscheinlich sind da Kunden ohne zu zahlen gegangen und plötzlich hätte ich das zahlen müssen. Zum Glück musste ich beides Mal nichts zusätzlich zahlen und die Situation konnte geklärt werden, trotzdem war das unangenehm

Die Currywurst war leider nur 3 Sterne wert. Die Portion war recht klein und die Wurst eher etwas geschmacklos. Sie hätte außerdem wärmer sein können. Positiv sind die Pommes zu bewerten. Diese waren frisch, warm und viel. Die Lokalräumlichkeit ist in Ordnung.

Ich hatte eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung im Martha’s Terrace in Stuttgart. Die Bedienung war extrem unhöflich und hat mir ein unangenehmes Gefühl vermittelt, das ich als rassistisch empfand. Als Kanadierin, die Deutschland besuchte, war ich zutiefst schockiert und traurig über dieses Verhalten. Es ist inakzeptabel, dass jemand im Gastgewerbe Gäste aufgrund ihrer Herkunft oder Hautfarbe anders behandelt. Solche Menschen sollten nicht die ansonsten so gastfreundliche deutsche Kultur repräsentieren.

Die Atmosphäre war angenehm und das Essen köstlich.

Es wird laut Speisekarte ein Pastrami-Sandwich nach New Yorker Art angeboten. Definitiv hat dort noch niemand ein Original Pastrami nach NY Art gegessen. Es ist einfacher Aufschnitt wie man es aus dem Supermarkt im Kühlregal kennt, mit Tonnenweise Mayo, dafür knappe 12€ zu bezahlen ist absolut nicht gerechtfertigt. Schade...

Das Martha’s ist ein echtes Highlight in der Stuttgarter Innenstadt! Wir hatten die Maultaschen sowie die Currywurst mit Pommes – beides war super lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Die scharfe Sauce zur Currywurst war einfach mega und hat dem Gericht das gewisse Etwas gegeben. Die gerollten Maultaschen waren perfekt gemacht, und der Kartoffelsalat hat wirklich geschmeckt wie bei Oma – genau so, wie man es sich wünscht. Ein tolles, ehrliches Essen in angenehmer Atmosphäre – wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Vielen Dank an das Team für dieses rundum gelungene Erlebnis.

The food was just okay at best, and in my opinion, it wasn't good value for money. The burger and fries could easily have been €4-6 cheaper. The ventilation was inadequate, resulting in poor air quality. The high chairs weren't very comfortable. We won't be back, sorry.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise in Stuttgart und sind dabei eher zufällig auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen – was für eine angenehme Überraschung! Alles war köstlich. Wir bestellten Brezel, Currywurst mit Pommes und Pastrami-Sandwich. Wir können dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen.

Ein herrlicher Ort am Schlossplatz, besonders wenn Sie auf der Terrasse sitzen möchten … Decken liegen für alle bereit, denen es kühl wird! Köstliche Getränke, hervorragendes Pastrami, typische Gerichte, aufmerksames und hilfsbereites Personal und ein fantastischer Blick auf den Schlossplatz erwarten Sie. Wenn Sie eine Fahrt mit dem Doppeldeckerbus unternehmen möchten, befindet sich die Haltestelle am Ende des Platzes. Ein großartiger Ort zum Entspannen und Genießen!

The price is a bit high, but that's probably due to the well-established reputation, the location, and especially the quality of the food served. Everything was very good. We had a great time.

Eating at Martha's means enjoying very friendly and courteous service. A great team! Food: The fact that I don't like the curry sauces is just my personal taste. Too bland. It seems like it came from a run-of-the-mill bottle. No real flavor, just a slightly smoky, dark sauce? Where other currywurst stands are exciting, spicy, and/or fruity, this one fails miserably. But maybe others like it. Price: The price is very reasonable for the location: Currywurst, red/white fries, 0.5-liter non-alcoholic beer 17.50. Self-service, though. Atmosphere: It's nice there. BUT! Why isn't there a way to ensure proper ventilation? Anyone who eats there will end up with a very persistent stink of fast food. That's very unworthy.

I like to go to this restaurant every now and then, especially when I'm in a hurry. The buffalo burger is highly recommended—always freshly prepared and delicious. I mostly only eat inside, so I can't say much about the servers, but I've always been served in a friendly manner. My food always came quickly, which makes the visit particularly pleasant. The prices may seem a bit high to some, but in my opinion, they're absolutely justified for the quality and freshness of the food. A great place for anyone looking for something good to eat quickly.

The currywurst is good, but it didn't blow me away, even though Grandma Martha left behind a delicious recipe. The fries weren't that crispy, but they were hot and delicious inside. The ambiance isn't my thing, but it's okay. The service was also okay. Just as it should be, and nothing particularly special. It's worth a visit! I don't know if I'll go there again.

We just had a drink and some fries. It was okay. The view was, of course, very nice.

I ordered a non-alcoholic Mohito today. As I was leaving the shop, a child bumped into me and my drink was completely spilled. I asked if they could refill it as a gesture of goodwill. And they said yes, we could. When they wanted to make it again, apparently a supervisor came over and said, no, don't do it. When I paid 9 euros for a non-alcoholic drink, I'd expect that they would at least accommodate me, considering that the ingredients weren't complicated anyway, and above all, there was no alcohol. I find it really cheeky that they first say yes to me and then afterwards say, hey, I can't do that because my colleague is standing here and apparently I'm not allowed to. I find that really disgusting.

Ok ……. Not be racist but the tall Asian guy (who was taking orders in the terrace) there geez, got some nerves really (so rude) no manners at all…..!!! Don’t know how to talk unnecessarily causing issues. Rest everything was ok .

We tried the buffalo burgers, which were tasty but not amazing enough, so I'd pay €18 for them again. The fries that came with them had way too much paprika, which made my mouth dry. I wouldn't necessarily go back.

We are tourists in Germany, we were in the center and decided to eat something, we went to this restaurant and ordered food, I chose a burger for 17€ which was terrible, the meat looked like it was from a supermarket and it was the cheapest, it was impossible to swallow, and there are also fries which were not the worst but they were overly seasoned so they tasted bitter, overall I do not recommend and I will definitely not come back here

We tried the most delicious homemade ice cream, the best mojito and waffles here. The waiter deserves special respect

Unfortunately, the first impression wasn't a good one – glasses were touched right on the rim, and the beer was served with almost two-thirds of the foam. The service seemed inexperienced and apparently unfamiliar with the ordering routine. It's a shame, especially at a central location, I would have expected more attention.

Truly disgusting burger. I don't eat at McDonald's or Burger King on principle and out of disgust, but I'd eat at Martha's again before I'd eat a burger at theirs. The frozen patties, whether they were from the Alb or not, were firm and didn't have a particularly vibrant flavor. It came with the most inappropriate burger sauce I've ever tasted. There were no tomatoes or pickles. Truly disastrous

Tolle Lage, allerdings braucht es etwas Zeit. Der Service ist freundlich, wirkt aber etwas chaotisch und es dauert alles ein wenig länger. Also ein bischen Zeit mitbringen, dann kann man sich auch über den leckeren Kaffee freuen ☺️

The location is great, you can enjoy the view. The guy who served us didn't speak English and never even half smiled, but the girl who took the orders out of the place was kind and always smiling. The prices are quite high. A Hugo aperitif for 9.50 euros without being accompanied by anything.

Awful service. We ordered a Flammkuchen and the waiter brought 2. I told him that we only ordered one, he apologized and left. Few seconds later his colleague showed up (An asian guy, the one who originally took the order) and started arguing "No bro you ordered 2 bro" while forcefully shoveing the flammkuchen onto our tables. You literally cannot be more unprofessional and rude than this. Idk where you find these people but maybe have antalk with your HR cause that was pathetic. Not to mention the dirty table and refusal to clean it up by themselves, we had to call the guy twice. The flammkuchen was good, I guess the kitchen atleast has people worth something, cause the service is pure trash. Never again.

Started weak and slowed down a lot. Years ago, eating currywurst just wasn't good. Tried fries today. The worst fries we have ever eaten and at an outrageous price. It's actually forbidden to call them fries.

I sat at a table that already had 3 chairs, after 5 minutes of having ordered, the waiter told me to move because I was in the middle of the step, when the chair was already there, everything was to seat others at my table. I didn't like it at all and I didn't respond. The client is left alone and is not bothered for nonsense.

The ambience makes a big difference. Very nice view of the castle park. Otherwise everything was solid and fine. Our Belgian waffle wasn't a hit but tasted acceptable. The waitresses should smile a little more. The colleagues in the restaurant were much friendlier👍🏼.

I am 44 years old, work in the catering industry and often eat out. But I've never experienced anything like this in my entire life. From bad to catastrophic. Such poor quality food should not be allowed to be served or sold. Bad isn't even an expression - it was simply unreasonable.

Regional delicious food. "Chilli con carne" with a nice, pleasant spiciness + bread. Super tasty for under 10 euros and also in the middle of Stuttgart and beautifully presented.

We ordered some currywurst and some drinks to take away, very friendly, very fast and very good value for money. It was a large plate of curried sausages and chips plus a slice of bread. With a drink it was about €15. We ate it in the square.

Haben als Paar 55, eine Oberländer Currywurst mit Pommes und eine Rindscurrywurst mit Brot gehabt. Die Currywurst war, trotz der Herkunft vom Schwäbisch Hallischen Erzeuger, nur fad. Die Currysauce war leider die schlechteste die wir je serviert bekommen haben. Eigentlich ist ja die Sauce für die Currywurst schön rot, tomatig, ketchuphaltig, würzig und fruchtig. Aber diese Sauce war curryfarbend, mit Currypulver durchmengt. Auch die Pommes mit einer Würzmischung ohne würze, war zu wenig gewürzt und gesalzen. Wir hatten schon einige schlechte, die optisch okay waren. Aber die hier ist mit Abstand die schlechteste Currywurst im Geschmack und Optik die wir je hatten. Und dafür zu teuer. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, danke.

To break the habit - cake bad - table unclean - card and candle "soiled/worn". Service was unable to serve cakes and drinks at once; despite digital support. Toilet for the size of the outdoor restaurant is a disgrace. The license would have to be revoked. Never again

The food is delicious, although not for everyone. There is too much sauce and the flavor of the sausages is lost. The potatoes could also be better. But overall everything is delicious.

The terrace is right in the city center. You can wonderfully watch the hustle and bustle on the castle square while you eat or drink something. The food is good and I thought the price-performance ratio was great too.

That was really the worst currywurst and fries we have ever eaten!! And that for just under 12 euros per portion!! The price cannot be justified! The fries only tasted like paprika powder, the sausage was bland and the sauce wasn't even close to what you would expect from a currywurst, and we didn't really taste (or even see!) curry. The atmosphere is nice, but there's nothing to hang up for coats, so keep them in your lap. It also took a very long time, which isn't great when you have a lunch break. Really, once and never again!

A fuir : une escroquerie, trop cher, zu teuer !!! Nous étions 3 et sommes allés le vendredi 8 novembre vers 19 heures dans cet établissement (qui était vide! nous aurions dû nous méfier ; ambiance glaciale ; personnel service minimum). Nous voulions manger une curry Wurtz . Nous avons pris trois curry Wurtz avec frites, 1 verre de vin rouge Trollinger (une piquette) et 2 Hugo. Le tout pour 63,60 €!!! Pas de service, des piques en bois pour manger, des saucisses d'un goût moyen et en plus ils font payer le ketchup ou la mayonnaise pour les frites. Comme si ce n'était pas suffisamment cher comme ça. Une très mauvaise expérience. On sort de chez Martha's avec le sentiment de s'être fait arnaquer de manière magistrale. Le lendemain et surlendemain nous sommes allés dans une weinstube traditionnelle et nous avons mangé trois plats avec assiettes et couverts, 0,5 l de Riesling, pour à chaque fois, entre 58 et 66 €, dans une ambiance typique de weinstube. De quoi susciter plus vivement des regrets pour notre visite chez Martha's...

Ungelerntes und unkoordiniertes, obschon freundliches Personal, zieht erst mal alle Bremsen in jederTagesplanung. 30 Minuten Wartezeit bis zur Bestellung, etwa 30 Minuten, bis das Essen kommt und weitere 10 Minuten bis zur Bezahlung macht insgesamt über eine Stunde zusätzliche Zeit. Ursache schien nicht eine knappe Personaldecke zu sein, sondern die vielen sinnlosen Einzelwege, Rumstehen, vergessenes Besteck oder Bestellungen ... Einweisung täte gut. Pastrami ist ein riesiger Fleischberg zwischen zwei Toasts, der lange im Magen liegt. Das sollte man wissen. Okay, meine Schuld, hätte ich mich vorab informieren sollen, dennoch fand ich das Verhätnis Fleisch zu anderem unausgewogen. Insgesamt unerfreulich, die gute Laune, die die tolle Location anfangs erzeugt hat, war danach dahin.

There's always a strange smell of burnt old oil in this shop. I tried the pastrami sandwich and that was the worst pastrami sandwich I have ever eaten.

Pretty solid place to eat. Sousages are not 'wow', but okay. It's in the good hidden place and stuff is friendly. If you are not german speaker ask for english menu. Prices are little high in my opinion, but it's survivable. Awesome music!

Atmosphere is excellent but the food is expensive.

Came here for lunch at the end of September and really loved it! The food was perfect for a quick stop by lunch! We had the currywurst, pastrami sandwich and the Maultaschen salad, all superb! But the curry sauce on the currywurst is definitely the best part of the meal! They have a good selection of drinks too and in the middle of stuttgart, so if you get tired and want a quick lunch break this is a great spot! Also the prices were quite reasonable! We sat outside on a sunny day and it was very nice, however unsure of how the space is inside.

Nice place, with tables outside, in front of the park, Nice to have a good German beer and some sandwiches, the prices being a tourist area are a little high, but that's how it is, the lady who served us was very friendly, it rained and A beautiful rainbow came out, even the purple one could see, I recommend it to spend a comfortable afternoon with people you love...

Aperol Spritz is almost just Aperol! Service but nice and helpful.

Unfortunately the staff was very unfriendly! Addendum: today I received a request from a lawyer to delete this review! Then why are there reviews? I wanted to order and eat in the empty restaurant (there are seats there)...and yes - I wasn't served. When I asked why I wasn't being served, my order was taken without a word. After 15 minutes I asked again - then I got the answer (in a very unfriendly tone) - I should eat on the terrace - there was so much going on there at the moment that they couldn't serve me in the empty restaurant. And now I should delete that - so that's the answer...so reviews would basically be obsolete! It wasn't the fact that they didn't really want to serve me that bothered me - it was more the tone of the staff. I was a customer there for years - the food itself was always great and certainly still is today! Unfortunately, I have never experienced anything like this and didn't expect it there either! It's a shame - because I really miss "my" currywurst in Stuggi - but for me personally, those days are over!

The place is great for a break on the city tour. Unfortunately the coffee was subpar and the homemade waffle was nothing special. Price-performance is not justified. More show than content.

Martha's in Stuttgart is an absolute insider tip! The currywurst is simply the best I've ever tasted, perfectly seasoned and incredibly tasty. But the highlight are also the fries: crispy, golden brown and perfectly seasoned, simply the best around! If you want to enjoy the best currywurst and the crispiest fries in Stuttgart, you definitely have to stop by Martha's!

Nice staff, fast and professional service, food very tasty (recommendation: currywurst and fries). The location is a bit cramped, unfortunately only one and very narrow toilet.

Every time I'm near Marta's restaurant, I can't resist stopping in there. The food is always delicious, the welcome is warm, and everything is wonderfully fresh 🤗. I can highly recommend it to everyone 😊.

Unfortunately, my visit to Martha's in the Königspassage Stuttgart was an absolute disappointment. First of all we were charged the wrong price which is absolutely unacceptable! When the error was pointed out, it wasn't even corrected properly. The food was also served without cutlery – how are you supposed to eat like that? Absolutely unprofessional! Value for money leaves a lot to be desired, the food was definitely not worth its overpriced price. I really hope that the managing director reads this criticism and finally changes something. So you really can't recommend this restaurant! What a shame about the time and money!

Yesterday we sat outside in front of the castle and were served very quickly and friendly by the male waitress. Praise at this point. We only ordered drinks, so we can't say how the food tasted. The ice cream chocolate was amazing and highly recommended. Now to the actually outraged part. We all (five people) had to go to the toilet. The nice waiter also kindly explained to us how to get to the restaurant. We quickly found this and went inside. When we came to the counter to ask where the toilet was, we were approached very very VERY rudely by an older blonde waitress who told us it wasn't a public toilet and whether we were guests. We all looked at each other and thought, what was that? Another waitress who had previously seen us sitting outside confirmed us and told the unfriendly waitress that yes, they were our guests. There was only one toilet, which we didn't find to be a problem. That's why the waiting time was very long. We waited and waited and when one of us wanted to see why we were waiting so long, the same waitress approached us again in one tone. She said it was busy and actually asked again if we were customers and noted again that it wasn't a public toilet. To be honest: it doesn't work at all. The waitress should reflect on the fact that this is not the way to deal with paying guests and think about whether she has missed her job. This woman has 0 empathy. It's a shame for the restaurant, with such a representation.

I ordered a currywurst, it wasn't given to me and they said it wasn't paid for. Also overpriced for small portions.

The ambience with a view of the Schlossplatz is really nice. The staff was attentive and our order was served quickly. We only had drinks, so unfortunately I can't say anything about the food. In terms of price, Martha's is reasonable, I think for the location. I would come again.

Great atmosphere to sit on the Schlossplatz. Staff quick and friendly. I had a currywurst that wasn't anything special, and fries that were so salty that your mouth was numb afterwards. There was only ketchup on the fries. Wiping your mouth with a napkin after eating is not an option. And the whole fun is extremely overpriced at around 20 euros

Food way too expensive for what you get 👎

Pastrami sandwich with cranberries is super delicious. It is very warm in the restaurant and although there are a lot of staff there, you have to be prepared for waiting times. Nevertheless, it is a recommendation and a good spot for a delicious snack!
