Incredibly delicious food. The quality has been consistently high for years. We always love coming here!

A very popular but modest looking take away restaurant famous for its falafel. Their falafel and halloumi are excellent. The makkali teller a pure veg and vegan option is also good. During lunch time there might be some waiting due to popularity of the Restaurant. We used it for take away.

Good evening, we were just served some sauce without asking, and we left €40 there. It could have been that I was allergic to it... It was just served and when we asked if it could be replaced, we were simply told that we still had to pay for the other plate... even though it was his fault! Once and I'm never going there again.

The food was nice overall, though I felt like I couldn’t fully get the complete taste experience. That said, the portions are really generous for the price, which makes it great value. I’d definitely recommend trying it out, especially if you want to experience something new. 😊

Great vegetarian options. I got a decent halloumi sandwich but the side of fries was soggy, really miserable experience to eat them. Service is quick (cash only!) and eating on the sloped benches outside is a nice way to watch the city go by.

In my opinion, Maroush is the best place to get Shawarma in Berlin.

The shawarma sandwich is quite good value for money. For €4.50, you get a decent portion, whether you choose meat or vegetarian. You can sit right by the bustling Kottbusser Tor. The atmosphere is lively, but also quite loud and crowded…you have to like that.

Wow, wow, wow! Delicious, affordable, authentic, friendly service :) I love it here! It's nice to sit outside and watch the hustle and bustle of the street. Even though it's busy and the atmosphere is more like a snack bar, you can have a good conversation and it's pleasant. Would come back☺️

A small restaurant with delicious food. We ordered a mixed grill, hummus, kibbeh, and falafel. The service was slow. It doesn't accept any type of card, only cash. However, there's a bank nearby where you can withdraw cash.

Please do not eat here! They scam you with cheap menu. All €10 dishes you buy you get meat quantity barely sufficient to feed a mouse. Especially lamb. Not worth it!

Tiny shop with excellent food at great prices. We always order chicken schwarma which is top-notch--stuffed with meat and veggies plus plenty of tahini sauce! So good!

Super! Tonight we celebrated Vanessa's birthday at Maroush. We ate delicious bags! There was falafel, halloumi, makali, everything your heart desires! Service and ambience were also great, always happy! Very thoughtfully, we got a birthday candle for Vanessa, super great! We'll be back!

Wow! I just realised the food is Lebanese. Now I like it even more :) There are so few places in Berlin where I really enjoy food, so you can trust me. This place has amazing portions (I cannot finish whole plate, usually we took one for 2 people) but if you can finish it - that absolutely makes sense . Because of how good it is!!!! Ps. One of the guys who always works there is the sweetest person and I’m glad to see him when I come. Just to make everything clear: this is not a restaurant. If you want to have a fancy date with black tie dress code this is not the place. If you want to eat amazing nutritious food with casual vibe and easy atmosphere, where the focus is on food and not on the place itself, if you feel really hungry - I recommend it 5/5 No pics unfortunately from me this time All the best to the owners

A friend recommended this place. It has a rustic feel to it! I’m really glad I went because they have some really amazing sandwiches (kebab wraps). I had their halloumi sandwich wrap (vegetarian) for take away, which tasted really good. The ingredients they use in the plates/sandwiches (also on display at the counter) looked really tempting. Do ask for their spicy sauce which they give on the side, if you want to amp up the flavour and spice level!

Some incredible shawarmas! Both the chicken and the falafel are very good. And the baklavas for dessert are delicious. Recommended to take away, better not to eat there. Although there are tables, it is a bit narrow and the sink leaves a lot to be desired.

used to be a regular and was there 2-3 times a week. Unfortunately, it is now relatively unfriendly and simply poor service. But what's most annoying is how grossly unhygienic the store is. Accept money and then immediately touch the food and knead the sandwich before putting it in the grill. all without having to wash your hands at some point. extremely remorseful.

I always enjoy coming here. Sometimes I have to wait a bit, but it's always worth it. The brothers behind the counter are all nice and do their best to keep waiting times short. It's a self-service snack bar, so you shouldn't complain about the lack of service. No matter what you want, if you walk three meters to the counter, you'll get it. Table service is just not. The food feels tastier with every visit. After the first falafel sandwich I couldn't understand the hype, but now I've probably had 50 and will keep coming back. ❤️

The taste is great and, above all, the price/performance ratio is unbeatable. You have to be careful that you get the right time slot, especially during the lunch break, otherwise it gets crowded here, but the operators are very quick and reliable in processing orders. Highly recommended!

Not recommend. Food was good. But the employees had zero respect for the customers. Toilets are so dirty, I think the kitchen is like that too.

I highly recommend this Lebanese restaurant! I've been here three times in the last four days because the falafel sandwich is simply unbeatable. Not only does it taste fantastic, but it is also very cheap - a real rarity in Berlin. The ambience is original and creates a cozy, inviting atmosphere. For me, this restaurant is definitely a new favorite in Berlin, and I'll definitely be back! Thank you for the great experience!

Auf einem Streifzug durch die Nacht sind wir hier gelandet. 9 Personen - da war ganz schön was los. Wir durften uns alle vorne „ins Fenster setzen“. Kuschelig ;-), super nettes Personal, vieles probiert-alles lecker. Auch die süßen Sachen. Es gibt im Hinteren des Ladens auch noch Sitzgelegenheiten; WC vorhanden.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed, I always give a tip but when I'm asked to do so and they say I should clean up my table after eating (flour traces) then I really don't see it. Among other things, there weren't all the dishes on the menu and the service wasn't friendly either. My wife, my two children, hamster Ben and I are very disappointed and will not be coming back :(

Unfortunately I didn't get a plate with my meal + service is not for the faint of heart. After we were then asked for tips, the store was closed for us.

1 star is actually too much. I don't expect service like in a star restaurant, but in my opinion a certain degree of politeness and respect should be normal. Unfortunately, that also spoils your food. Not cool.

We visited Maroush after about 6 years and the food is still amazing, fresh and tasty, with combination of spices change as you are eating your way through the sandwich. The desserts are so, so good, giving you a feeling that you are eating something really healthy, not just a guilty pleasure (really recommend the pistachio "balls"). The atmosphere was good, but perhaps the music and decor were nicer a few years ago (and the toilet was cleaner then). Strong recommendation for a decent, quick bite. And we'll be back...

Unfortunately I got diarrhea the last two times after I was there. I love this shop and the falaffel maggali there but please pay more attention to hygiene! Something like that shouldn't happen (and especially shouldn't happen again) ♡

Disgusting! I have known this site for 16 years. It was always very good, but for a year now it has really sucked. The owners have changed and the bathroom has not been cleaned since then!!! The same with the rest of the establishment. Everything is dirty and left behind. I'm surprised customers don't get sick. I was just there and I'm not coming back. Today the chicken in my shawarma wasn't even done! Too bad! Another place in Berlin that is going to shit. Don't go!! It's unhealthy!!
