Marco Polo Uno in Berlin

It's been our regular spot for years, and we're always impressed. We'll be back.

Delicious food and friendly staff! As always, we're happy to return!

Since Marco Polo moved into its new premises, this is my third visit. I was very disappointed with the service on my last visits. Last night was a lovely end to the day with, as always, great food and good service. P.S. to the kitchen...the "air bread" was fantastic.

There were six of us eating. The service and ambience was good and the food was satisfactory. The price-performance ratio was not right at all. We had pork fillet with chips and Gorgonzola sauce. You could hardly find any Gorgonzola sauce on the plate and, above all, the plate was presented without any love or decoration. For these high prices you would definitely expect something appealing. After all, eating is a visual experience.

Everything is okay, but I think the prices for a salad are excessive these days!

I can only recommend the restaurant; I haven't experienced anything so friendly and polite in a long time.

Very tasty food and good service

We spontaneously went on a short vacation to Berlin. I've been to Marco Polo Uno once before, and it was so very, very good that I absolutely had to go back five years later. I was definitely not disappointed. The ambiance, the restaurant, the waiters, the chef, and the food were all simply perfect. Everyone is so friendly; you really feel like you're in good hands there. We had a pizza and a calzone, and the way the food was presented and served was really great. We will definitely eat there again. I really recommend it.

Very tasty food at reasonable prices. However, the service could be improved in terms of friendliness. Furthermore, the waiter is told to arrive in 15 minutes, but after 30 minutes, the takeaway still hasn't been served.

We arrived just 20 minutes before closing time and still got something to eat! The service was simply friendly and great. The food was amazing. Many thanks to the chef who even cooked for us personally! We had pasta with scampi and grilled salmon fillet. It tasted absolutely delicious. Thank you very much, and see you soon.

Unfortunately, I have to downgrade my rating from 5 to 2 stars. I had guests visiting my home, and we wanted to have Italian food. When we were there two years ago, everything was almost perfect. In contrast to the last visit. As I entered the restaurant with my guests, I was rudely yelled at by someone (presumably the waiter). He said, "I said wait!" and was shown outside. Okay, we thought, maybe it was a bit of a stress reaction. I would have preferred to just walk right back out and sink into the ground because I had previously praised this Italian restaurant so much, and then my first impression was like that. My guests and I (including a 79-year-old man with physical disabilities) stood there waiting in the blazing sun. Our mood was already not so good. After a while, we were invited inside and asked, "How many people?" Still no greeting. Although I trust the waiter to count to four on his own, I answered his question. Then we were told to follow him. He quickly brought us to a table after we led him through a restaurant labyrinth of tables and other junk. I felt very uncomfortable for my guests. The four of us ended up sitting in a drafty aisle. Still no greeting. We just waited in anticipation, because things could have been better. The loud Ballermann or Balkan music finally finished me and my guests off. From my seat, you could only hear the bass. Instead of sitting in a great Italian restaurant, we were sitting in a kind of "Balkan Seat Disco." After a while, we received the menu. My friend ordered the truffle pasta "as usual," the others ordered pizza. Well, what can I say? First, the pizza: OK, but nothing special. For me and the other pizza eaters, the ham was the kind you'd expect from a "yes, ham package," uncut and massive on the pizza. None of us ordered alcohol. Nevertheless, the waiter suddenly appeared with a large wheel of cheese and poured some kind of alcohol onto the truffle pasta inside the wheel to flambé it. Then the food was served. My friend said he noticed a bitter taste. Perhaps a mistake during the flambéing, or the cheese was "special." Beforehand, we had bruschetta, which was okay. I just wanted to leave and won't go there again. Unfortunately.

The child says the tastiest noodles in the world are here. I don't know about the world, but definitely really delicious food.

Great quality. One of the best pizzas in Berlin. The staff sometimes unfortunately acts arrogant.

We ordered food worth around €90 via Lieferando. The food came after 2 hours, the restaurant called us specifically to tell us that the food had been there for 1 hour because the delivery driver (from Lieferando) didn't want to take it with him. Supposedly cancelled. Of course the food was cold when it arrived. The meal after we warmed it up, 2 pizzas & 2 spagetti (Cabonara alla Mama & Bolognese) was really delicious. Although it wasn't the restaurant's fault, they gave us Bruscetta con sheep's cheese free of charge. Thank you for that! In the future we will prefer to go directly to the restaurant and no longer order from Lieferando. Then we can enjoy the food straight away, hot, because it is really delicious and judge the ambience.

Everything was good, the greeting from the kitchen was great and the main course was, as always, very tasty. The ambience is great, there's no reason to even begin to complain.

Via Wolt it is possible to order the food and drinks from this restaurant to my wife's address. We have actually done this a few times. The overall result is very good, down-to-earth Italian cuisine, which is what you're looking for. Every time we order we get the homemade bruscetta for free. The ones that really look like irises. The path to getting to know your restaurant personally hasn't led us to you yet, but I think we can definitely tackle that at some point. In any case, we can say that regardless of whether it's pizza or pasta, the food here is very good.

The food, the service, the ambience, just perfect. We are visiting Berlin over the weekend and were looking for a restaurant. We quickly decided to reserve a table. The welcome was very warm. The Marco Polo pays a lot of attention to cleanliness; there were a few crumbs on our tablecloth from the guests in front of us. Without further ado, the tablecloth was exchanged for a new one. At the beginning there was a greeting from the kitchen, we have never had such good bruschetta before, and there was also an incredibly tasty and creamy shepherd's cheese. The main course was pizza and a salad with chicken breast. Everything was super delicious. If we are in Berlin again, a table will be reserved immediately.

Good Morning, We are taking a short vacation as a family in Berlin. With the friendly recommendation of our great aunt Ada, we ate there. It was a real treat! The team, the ambience, the atmosphere are simply great. The prices for Berlin are okay.

Be sure to try the pizza at Mista Pizza, a real Italian restaurant with very good quality.

There were five of us there today and, as always, it tasted great. Only the salad was a bit poor, but that's hardly worth mentioning. We would particularly like to praise the new waiter, who was really very nice and accommodating. We'd love to come back.

We came here very hungry for lunch so we could once again enjoy good Italian pizza. The pizza was huge, freshly made and with a delicious crust. The service was attentive and friendly. The ambience gave you the feeling of being in an upscale Italian restaurant as everything was furnished with style. There is always something new to discover in every corner. A return is guaranteed!

Was there yesterday and paid a lot for a small portion. 1 bottle of water 150ml, €3.10, comb okay. Food wasn't good. There are better option for less prices. 👎👎

Very crowded at Christmas, plates unfortunately cold and so was the sauce for the dish... but overall ok.

We stopped here after a lovely trip to the Beelitz Heilstätten. Full and beautiful guest room. Fast and courteous service that took care of everything. The cook doesn't have to be in love because all the main dishes were missing salt. Otherwise these were great. I have to visit this restaurant again to form an opinion. Edit: The review hasn't gone through for months - for whatever reason...

I'm torn. Good and friendly service and a cozy location on the one hand, but on the other hand food and drinks that are okay but not entirely convincing considering the price quoted. Unfortunately my experience only extends to pizza, drinks and dessert but it won't be enough for a repeat. For example, the pizzas, the base here has something bread-like, maybe it's the thickness of the dough, maybe the oven temperature? The topping is rich in cheese and the whole thing melts into a mass. The homemade lemonade is limited to syrup, a few fruits and mineral water. The ice cream from our own gelateria is okay in summer and winter, but it's okay, it can be even finer, tastes more perfect and is more reasonably priced. There is a lot to choose from in Berlin and the Marco Polo is in the middle of the pack for me.

We were 15 guests and celebrated our wedding there. I can only recommend it, you put a lot of effort into it and the food is very good. Food and ambience top! We'd love to come back.

Das Restaurant war sehr gut besucht. Wir hatten vorbestellt, so war unser Tisch gesichert. Sehr schnelle Aufnahme der Bestellung. Aber leider hat es vom bestellen bis zum servieren der Speisen 1 Stunde und 15 min gedauert. Wir haben auch schon das Personal erinnert, dass wir Hunger haben. Es gab eine nette Entschuldigung, der Chef kam persönlich an den Tisch. Angeblich waren 250 Gäste im Restaurant. Ich habe aber nicht nachgezählt. Das Essen war super lecker und auch reichlich. Hierfür 5 Sterne. Als Entschuldigung für die lange Wartezeit gab es einen Dessertteller als Geschenk . Einen Schnaps für jeden zum Abschied gab es auch. Insgesamt ein schöner Abend. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Italienische Restaurant ist eines der Besten in Berlin. Es ist nicht ganz preiswert aber dafür ist die Qualität hervorragend. Die Bediehnung ist sehr aufmerksam und professionel. Es gibt nach unseren Erfahrungen kaum einen Italiener in dem es so toll schmeckt. Auch das Ambiente ist hervorragend!

Great recommendation! We enjoy eating there - and have had it delivered a few times now. Of course: food is a matter of taste, but we can recommend everything from starters to pizzas, pasta, meat dishes and dessert. Always tasty and plentiful. Deliveries were made quickly within the promised time frame. Our orders always included a free bottle of really good wine. It certainly depends on the order volume, but not a given in these times. We look forward to being able to be with you in the restaurant again. Hang in there!
