Marco Polo Uno in Berlin

The best Italian restaurant I know in Berlin. We've been there several times. The service is friendly, and special requests (a pizza to share if you're not very hungry) are no problem. The food is super delicious, and the portions are always generous. With an appetizer, it's only manageable if you're really hungry. Excellent value for money; there's nothing to complain about here. They even offer a shot of schnapps as a farewell. Thank you very much.

It was a wonderful evening with my family of ten (plus dog) to celebrate my birthday. The food and service (from reservation to departure) were excellent. I highly recommend Marco Polo Uno! Thank you so much, and see you next time!

After a stressful workday, Marco Polo is just the thing. Fabulous food, a fabulous cocktail... yes, that's the perfect way to end the day.

The service and ambiance were, as always, perfectly fine. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to expectations this time. The pasta with beef tenderloin tips was disappointing; in fact, only the pasta itself was edible. The Pizza Diavolo was too oily, the salami had a very strong pork flavor, and there was too much arugula for my taste. The pumpkin cream soup was okay. I'd like to give a special mention to the Cordon Bleu with mushroom sauce, which was truly delicious. I can also recommend the Bruschetta. Overall, there's room for improvement; it's definitely been better before.

The food was delicious. The portions were perfectly adequate. I'm deducting one point because, after asking whether I wanted a large or small Coke, I was brought two small ones instead of one large one, and this was also charged accordingly – €6.40 for a 0.4l Coke, which is outrageous. This wasn't communicated beforehand. I assume they have a large one available if the waiter specifically asks for one.

Five of us were there for a birthday party. The children had pasta and were very happy, the women had chicken and scampi, both of which were very well received. I had steak with various side dishes, cooked to perfection. We had a very pleasant evening; at the end, they even gave us a bottle of wine on the house, a very nice gesture. Thank you very much for that. The service was always attentive, but never intrusive; top-notch. Seats towards the back are better, as there's a slight draft at the entrance door as guests come and go. We'll definitely be back.

All food tastes nice except pastas. Carbonara is disgusting. They should take it off the menu. Such a basic italian dish that anyone can do at home, but this restaurant can't. The restaurant has romantic vibes, but it is also really dusty. Dust is on all decorations in the restaurant. The service is ok.

The food was simply amazing. The pasta was creamy, the meat tender, the mushrooms perfect. The atmosphere was relaxed, the service attentive—the waiters really made an effort, not just dropping off plates. And in case anyone forgot: tipping isn't an "option"; it's a tribute to hard work. These people deserve every euro.

We've eaten there many times. We've also hosted several larger birthday dinners there. It was always great, and the food was absolutely delicious. Today we just wanted to go somewhere else for a meal. Mmmm, but we decided to come back later 😅 everything just works for us. See you later 🙂🙃

We've been coming back for 14 years! The staff are all just so friendly and accommodating. You immediately feel at ease and welcome. The food is simply delicious; the tempura shrimp are simply perfect, golden brown and crispy on the outside, super juicy on the inside! Plus, there are three delicious dips that make you wonder which one to eat first. The steaks are divine; you can taste the high quality on your tongue, and they're always cooked to perfection, just the way you like it. My son loves the pizza, and my daughter always takes home the leftover spaghetti carbonara (she can never finish that huge portion and is happy to eat it again the next day). We've celebrated many special occasions there and will continue to do so. We'll keep coming back, I promise!

We had three dishes, and each one was a dream! Caramelle al Pepe Verde: An absolute recommendation for anyone who wants to experience Italian cuisine beyond the classics, and despite it being delivered, the beef fillet was cooked to perfection. Spaghetti Carbonara alla Mama: Finally, a carbonara that isn't drowning in cream (there simply wasn't any, as it should be). Tagliolini con Tartufo: My two truffle-loving friends confirmed to me that it was the best truffle sauce they've ever tasted. Worth every penny; we'll definitely be back or order more!

I've been to this wonderful Italian restaurant several times now – and every single time has been a complete delight. Whether pasta, pizza, fish, or meat dishes: everything I've tried so far has been simply outstanding. The ingredients are fresh, the preparation is spot on, and you can taste the attention to detail in every bite. The quality of the food is consistently of the highest standard – something to be taken for granted! The wine selection is also very good and perfectly rounds off the culinary experience. The warm and attentive service is particularly noteworthy. The entire team is extremely friendly, courteous, and authentic – you immediately feel welcome and in good hands. A place you'll gladly return to again and again. For me, one of the best Italian restaurants in the area – highly recommended!

A super beautiful, incredibly delicious restaurant. The food is of excellent quality, and the service is extremely friendly and polite. The best spaghetti alio olio I've ever eaten, and the bruschetta is heavenly in every bite. I love it!

Delivery Service Best Choice - A pizza like in Italy, with generous and truly fresh toppings that impress from the first bite. The dough fresh from the oven, light and crispy at the same time, something you'd never achieve at home. As a little surprise, they even threw in a complimentary bruschetta, which perfectly rounded off the lunch. A true feast for the palate, that's what pizza should taste like!

As a new resident of Lichtenberg, I discovered this restaurant by chance. I realized that it had surpassed all my previous restaurant visits. By far the best Italian restaurant ever. Not only the perfectly prepared dishes, but also the extremely friendly and very attentive service create a lovely atmosphere. Hopefully, the waiter who served us on Tuesday, August 12th, will be in a better mood next time, because his behavior doesn't do justice to the other colleagues who put in so much effort. I still give all the other employees 5 stars for the service.

A large, very stylish restaurant with an excellent menu and cuisine. We'd definitely be happy to return.

The pizza was really good—nothing to complain about. However, the wait for ordering and then for the food was always very long, even though it was never particularly busy and there seemed to be enough staff on hand to allow for speedy service. The atmosphere outside wasn't ideal either. It was very hot under the black awning, and loud oriental music was playing. Overall, this might have been acceptable if the service hadn't been so slow. I hope things improve here, because the food is actually worth it.

We were there on a Sunday evening.. nice restaurant in itself but the atmosphere was unfortunately spoiled by all the children in the new housing development. The tablecloth was dirty and hadn't been changed.. the waiter was listless and didn't even crack a smile. The food was expensive - like everywhere else - spaghetti 15 euros, which I find really expensive, but I guess you have to adjust to inflation.. It took ages to clear the table or ask if we wanted anything else.. they just finished really quickly so we could finally pay and leave.. sorry, we won't be back!

For guests who do not have celiac disease

Twelve of us celebrated my birthday at Marco Polo yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed everything. We had the nicest waiter you could imagine, and the food and drinks were, as always, amazing! I've known the restaurant for a long time; I ate there often when it was still located in the old Dolgensee Center. Even back then, it was very special: the food was delicious, the service excellent, and the presentation lovingly and exceptionally well-made. The new premises are now lovingly, beautifully, and stylishly furnished and decorated. You feel well looked after and the seating is very comfortable. I can definitely recommend this Italian restaurant. On behalf of my guests, I would like to sincerely thank Bobo and his team for the unforgettable afternoon and the delicious food. I'm already looking forward to the next time... :-)

Today I celebrated my 70th birthday at the Marco Polo Uno. Everything was superbly prepared, and all the food and drinks were presented beautifully and tasted delicious. Unfortunately, due to the weather, the venue got a bit too hot.

This wonderful restaurant has become our favorite restaurant over time. The ambiance is very stylish and you feel very comfortable when you eat here. At the back of the restaurant there is a separate area that we reserved for our wedding reception. It was wonderful. We had enough space for about 25 people. The food and service were excellent as always. I can recommend eating here to anyone who wants excellent food, from pasta to pizza to steak, and wants to enjoy very good drinks with excellent service. Thank you very much, we will be back again and again.

Die Qualität der Speisen sind minderwertig. Das Gericht „Pollo alla Mediterranea“ mit minderwertigem und übermäßig viel Öl zubereitet. Die Rosmarinkartoffeln als Beilage schmeckten sehr salzig. „Tagliolini con Tartufo“ schmeckte alles andere als trüffelig. Das Personal war eher skeptisch freundlich und wirkte nicht authentisch. Die Lage des Restaurants ist weniger schön, nahe eines Plattenbaus. Es gibt wahrhaftig qualitativ hochwertigeres Essen in Berlin.

Since Marco Polo moved into its new premises, this is my third visit. I was very disappointed with the service on my last visits. Last night was a lovely end to the day with, as always, great food and good service. P.S. to the kitchen...the "air bread" was fantastic.

There were six of us eating. The service and ambience was good and the food was satisfactory. The price-performance ratio was not right at all. We had pork fillet with chips and Gorgonzola sauce. You could hardly find any Gorgonzola sauce on the plate and, above all, the plate was presented without any love or decoration. For these high prices you would definitely expect something appealing. After all, eating is a visual experience.

Everything is okay, but I think the prices for a salad are excessive these days!

I can only recommend the restaurant; I haven't experienced anything so friendly and polite in a long time.

Very tasty food and good service

We spontaneously went on a short vacation to Berlin. I've been to Marco Polo Uno once before, and it was so very, very good that I absolutely had to go back five years later. I was definitely not disappointed. The ambiance, the restaurant, the waiters, the chef, and the food were all simply perfect. Everyone is so friendly; you really feel like you're in good hands there. We had a pizza and a calzone, and the way the food was presented and served was really great. We will definitely eat there again. I really recommend it.

Very tasty food at reasonable prices. However, the service could be improved in terms of friendliness. Furthermore, the waiter is told to arrive in 15 minutes, but after 30 minutes, the takeaway still hasn't been served.

We arrived just 20 minutes before closing time and still got something to eat! The service was simply friendly and great. The food was amazing. Many thanks to the chef who even cooked for us personally! We had pasta with scampi and grilled salmon fillet. It tasted absolutely delicious. Thank you very much, and see you soon.

Unfortunately, I have to downgrade my rating from 5 to 2 stars. I had guests visiting my home, and we wanted to have Italian food. When we were there two years ago, everything was almost perfect. In contrast to the last visit. As I entered the restaurant with my guests, I was rudely yelled at by someone (presumably the waiter). He said, "I said wait!" and was shown outside. Okay, we thought, maybe it was a bit of a stress reaction. I would have preferred to just walk right back out and sink into the ground because I had previously praised this Italian restaurant so much, and then my first impression was like that. My guests and I (including a 79-year-old man with physical disabilities) stood there waiting in the blazing sun. Our mood was already not so good. After a while, we were invited inside and asked, "How many people?" Still no greeting. Although I trust the waiter to count to four on his own, I answered his question. Then we were told to follow him. He quickly brought us to a table after we led him through a restaurant labyrinth of tables and other junk. I felt very uncomfortable for my guests. The four of us ended up sitting in a drafty aisle. Still no greeting. We just waited in anticipation, because things could have been better. The loud Ballermann or Balkan music finally finished me and my guests off. From my seat, you could only hear the bass. Instead of sitting in a great Italian restaurant, we were sitting in a kind of "Balkan Seat Disco." After a while, we received the menu. My friend ordered the truffle pasta "as usual," the others ordered pizza. Well, what can I say? First, the pizza: OK, but nothing special. For me and the other pizza eaters, the ham was the kind you'd expect from a "yes, ham package," uncut and massive on the pizza. None of us ordered alcohol. Nevertheless, the waiter suddenly appeared with a large wheel of cheese and poured some kind of alcohol onto the truffle pasta inside the wheel to flambé it. Then the food was served. My friend said he noticed a bitter taste. Perhaps a mistake during the flambéing, or the cheese was "special." Beforehand, we had bruschetta, which was okay. I just wanted to leave and won't go there again. Unfortunately.

The child says the tastiest noodles in the world are here. I don't know about the world, but definitely really delicious food.
