Limited menu at lunchtime. Only part of the restaurant is open...the rest is cordoned off...so everything is very cramped. The food was good. Bread and olive oil are charged separately. Overpriced in my opinion.

We've been going to this restaurant for many years and always enjoy it. You can always count on a pleasant atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food. That's why I invited my guests from Switzerland here. What can I say? It was wonderful again! And my guests raved about it (I should mention that, given their proximity to Italy, they're certainly spoiled when it comes to Italian cuisine). A huge thank you! We'll definitely be back soon!

I've rarely visited such a bad restaurant. The food was okay, but the service seemed completely uninterested and served at a snail's pace. We had to wait forever for every drink, wait forever for dessert, and the creme brulee was inedible. Neither my companion nor I could finish it. We couldn't order anything else because the waitress elegantly looked past us, if she was even visible. The icing on the cake was the bill, which took even longer to arrive. The waitress was very unfriendly, with messy hair *and unfriendly is putting it mildly*. I've never seen or experienced anything so rude in the service profession before; you get yelled at for having to wait and express this. The lady has missed her calling. I'll never set foot there again, unless I want to feel unwanted and be treated with rudeness and I have a lot of time, in which case it's the right place for me.

I was at the Francucci restaurant with my girlfriend. She was visiting me in Berlin, and I wanted to offer her a special atmosphere and delicious food. I had relied on the Francucci restaurant without having been there before. My girlfriend ate a pizza Frutti di Mare (seafood), and it was by far the most disgusting pizza we had ever tasted. There were only about 6 fruits on the 1mm-thin crust; otherwise, the pizza was oversalted and inedible. When we pointed this out, the waiter said that "that's just how they make it in Italy." I explained to him in Italian that I was Italian and that this wasn't true. He asked me where in Italy I was from. I said I was from Milan. His reply was, "Milan isn't Italy either." The bread was sticky, the atmosphere inauthentic, and the waiters unfriendly, especially since we apologized a thousand times for having to complain. That's not like us, but we couldn't possibly have said nothing. That would have been dangerous for the other guests. We were ignored for the rest of the evening and had to wait almost 40 minutes before we were billed. Very, very, very questionable.

I visit this restaurant quite often with my wife, and we consider it the best italian place around our neighborhood. The food is amazing, from pasta and pizza to deserts and beef. The service is also very nice, people are very friendly… we even got a free limoncello shot once. I recommend this place!

I like the area and the location. But the food they served yesterday was so bad... I had a so called "pasta carbonara". Something made with a lot of cooking cream without any taste. Every real italian would have run away on the spot screaming for mama. a shame...

Disappointing, not recommended in summer! Unfortunately, as many tables as possible are placed on the street, diners are crammed next to each other. Quiet conversation is impossible here. The noise level is enormous. I find that disgraceful for an Italian restaurant in this price range. We were also disappointed with the food. I had spaghetti all olio, and the dish was bland and unsalted. And to top it all off, there was an additional €0.50 on the bill for bread. I find that embarrassing for an Italian restaurant on Ku'damm. So if you want to chat in peace and quiet while eating, don't go there.

Really nice, well-kept atmosphere. The wine served in 100 ml doses was annoying. Pizza is rather mediocre, thinly topped, hardly any cheese.

Service was great, food was delicious. Looks totally like a Berlin original, very German-Italian with lots of long-established guests. Also a cozy interior, perfect for dates.

In terms of atmosphere it's a really nice shop, but unfortunately the food is disappointing. Despite repeated requests, dishes like the carpaccio continued to be served with oil/dressing. The asparagus was almost sold out by 7 p.m., and the few portions seemed more prepared than fresh. Overall, a lot of it looked like ready-made food - unfortunately the taste wasn't convincing. No recommendation in terms of food.

Yesterday I was at Francucci for the first time and I was very satisfied with the cozy atmosphere, the good quality of the food, delicious drinks and the attentive staff. At times the music was quite loud, making it difficult to hold a conversation, but you can complain about anything. Nevertheless, I can highly recommend the restaurant and would be happy to come back 😀

I walked in on a Tuesday evening without a reservation. Was not very busy but not empty too. Service people were quite kind and helpful. I ordered olives, bread, house wine, insalata misticanza and lasagna. Could improve olives’ quality and variety (only 2 types of olives present) Olive oil (selezione frantoi cutrera) is nice fruity, not very acid, smells and looks good. Bread was a bit burned on crust but it is not a big issue for me. Red house wine was good quality for price. Nice balance of acid and dry. Not too bold. Insalata misticanza Quality of greens was ok. Sauce was evenly spread on each green. Tomatoes could be more ripened and sweet. Although it says “parmesan flakes” in the menu, the parmesan on the salat was grated. Lasagna The way that it was prepared is exactly how I like it. Soft, saucy, slightly crispy top layer. But the beef ragù is.. It tastes like tomato soup with lots of water (bland). You should work on the quality of the ingredients. Especially tomatoes. If you claim to be an italian restaurant, of course.

First class service, delicious fresh food, which is worth the admittedly high price. The Aperol Spritz is also just right! We felt completely comfortable.

We had already gotten to know and appreciate the food and service. But now with 14 friends a completely different experience: summery outside, a unique table festively set with white textiles, sunflowers and yellow lemons, and with a view of the pulsating Kudamm. First in great sunshine, then getting darker in the evening with subtle table lighting. We were all absolutely amazed, great and thank you! Special praise again to the attentive service staff.

Good Italian. The lunch menu of minestrone or salad, pizza and coffee is a good bargain. The crème brûlée looks good, even though it is probably made without vanilla beans. Very good tiramisu.

An expensive but chic restaurant. The food was good, but not outstanding. Unfortunately the service was poor. It takes many, many minutes for the service to register that you want to order. It takes even more time for the food to arrive. In addition, the service is hopelessly overwhelmed and unfriendly. Wishes or suggestions remain unaffected. All in all a bitter disappointment. A lot of appearances, not a lot of class. It's a shame and absolutely not recommended!

I had the pleasure of visiting an outstanding Italian restaurant on Kurfürstendamm in Berlin. The location is first class and creates the perfect backdrop for an enjoyable evening. As soon as I entered the restaurant, I was impressed by the high-quality sound system, which created a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. The starter platters were excellently put together and tailored to my allergies - a truly remarkable service! The cocktails, both non-alcoholic and with alcohol, were masterfully mixed and exactly what I wanted. The coffee was of the highest quality, and the pizza was the crispiest I've had in over ten years. The homemade pasta, which I had already seen praised in the comments, did not disappoint and was a real treat. I would particularly like to highlight the excellent service of the waiter and the young man with a beard. He is part of the family that has run the restaurant for many decades and impressed with his excellent knowledge of food and wine. Both were extremely attentive and weren't afraid to put on a little show with a cocktail cart right at the table. The homemade tiramisu was the icing on the cake on a completely perfect evening. An absolute must for lovers of Italian cuisine in Berlin!

We love Italian cuisine and think the True Italian 72hrs initiative is great 👍, which consists of the offer to try a drink and an aperitivo for €9. Many Italian restaurants and salumerias are taking part and that's wonderful because that's the best way to get to know the cuisine and Italian hospitality. But every now and then there are black sheep who participate and are on the list, but do not stick to the agreement. Unfortunately, the Francucci on the Kudamm is one of them. The receptionist was very friendly and then called the colleague in charge. We wanted to try the €9 deal but the waiter said he was sorry, everything was sold out and they had nothing left. It was just after 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, 24 Instead we were given the menu from which we were supposed to only order from that. We then got up and left. Anyone who tries so cheaply to abuse a good idea in order to attract customers/guests is trampling on Italian hospitality, culture and customer service. It would have been more than easy to offer an alternative suggestion such as a Crodino or Prosecco with bruscetta or small antipasti. I think something like that shouldn't happen and should be punished so that the campaign's good reputation is not jeopardized. Therefore I can't say much about the food or the ambience because we won't be visiting this restaurant again.

We were there today at 6:00 p.m. because of the 72hrtrueitalianfood promotion. Several Italian restaurants took part in the campaign; for €9 you could get an aperitivo (a drink and a small Italian dish). When we got there we were presented with the normal menu, the aperitivo was already sold out. The waiter didn't bother to offer us anything else comparable. It's a shame, we won't be visiting this restaurant again.

The best Italian restaurant on the Kudamm

Very unfortunate situation with a valid 50 euros gift card we decided to use at this restaurant. Waitresses recognised the gift card before eating but when we were about to pay the gift card didn’t work and we accepted to pay the bill with the promise that they will give us the money the next day. This didn’t happen and the owner accused that the web page atento.me is false and they don’t work with them. Our complain is not about the money because we can pay 50 euros but the way the situation was handled shows that this place doesn’t care about the customers because they would rather save 50 euros (by the way they will get 100 because I paid the bill and they will get extra 50 euros for the gift card we know is valid) than keep a client that for sure won’t eat at that place again.

Ristorante Francucci, Berlin, bella Famiglia since 1962! We were warmly welcomed and politely served. The service is unobtrusive but present. Also pour water and wine at times, although we don't necessarily need it here. If staff still recognizes customers even after 9 months, then it doesn't show arrogance but rather true customer service. The food is very well made and tastes good. The prices are okay, the quality is right. Because the food here is fresh, the menu is kept small. However, it also offers very high quality meat. The wine list is a good size and also contains fine items, as well as the necessary wine climate cabinet. And.......the open red wine is chilled here. Something the guest shouldn't forget is the good olive oil and homemade bread that comes with it. The Ristorante is cozy, a bit like being in a mountain hut, very cozy! Beautiful checkered blankets, cloth napkins with paper napkins, and boar heads on the walls. There are a few counter seats and a small bar area, ideal for a vino. The large terrace offers a good overview of the Kurfürstendamm, although the corner at the end is a bit quieter and not so busy in the evening. A very cozy outdoor area protected from the wind has been set up for smokers. Animal fur protects against the coolness from below.

The ambience is always a matter of taste. Charging €19 for a pizza with gorgonzola cheese and spinach is sporty. I ordered it without garlic and my girlfriend ordered it with it. The waiter (with his mind off work) said quite disinterestedly that both pizzas were garlic-free. He then brought garlic in a jar for my friend. It then turned out that my pizza was with garlic…. Conclusion: the price/performance ratio for this run-of-the-mill pizzeria is by no means right. That was my last visit.

At Francucci I ate the best pesto/pasta of my life. The ambience has a certain flair and charm. Service attentive and nice. The only catch is a long waiting time for reservations due to high demand. Understandable ♡

It was a nice place, but it was so loud that it was difficult to have a conversation. Unfortunately the service was slow and inattentive. The quality of the food we ordered was good but not enough for the number of people. Our comment was responded to unkindly.

This restaurant adheres to Italian traditions. Italian cuisine, menu in Italian with translation into German, waiters speak Italian. Not cheap, but if you want to feel like you’re in Italy, I recommend it.

Food has somehow diminished. Nothing special. Or as our guests said, school lunches in a good atmosphere. But the desserts are specifically excluded. The dessert was great, especially the tiramisu!

Oh my god, what happened here? My once favorite store has mutated into a huge customer rip-off. The food is insanely expensive and exceptionally bad. The waiter who served us had a condescending and ironic way with us. It was always very expensive here but at least the waiters were friendly and the food was tasty. I love the ambience of the restaurant, but there isn't much left of what it once was. Prices have skyrocketed and quality has deteriorated dramatically. As my friend said so beautifully: It has francucciized.

What just happened? What happened to this wonderful restaurant where you could always eat well? The prices were never cheap, but you got top quality, both in terms of food and drinks as well as the service. Today we were there again after a long time - the menu is extremely reduced, the prices have increased by 50-60% because the portions have also been shrunk. Food (lasagna) was cold, pizza too thin, hardly any spaghetti on the plate. Even more tables than usual, it's hard to get through. Service seems to work somewhat in a “trance”, more like on an assembly line. When we asked what exactly these changes were supposed to achieve, the only answer we got was that the boss wanted to try something new. It's not entirely clear to us where exactly the journey should go. At the moment it looks to us as if management doesn't know exactly what they want to achieve. We are not used to this loveless card and poor quality from Francuccis. It's completely unclear what the point is here.

Seit Jahren gehen wir zum Francucci, allerdings seit neusten gibt es eine neue Karte, wo die besten Gerichte gestrichen und die Preise angehoben wurden. Desserts überteuert. Service ist dafür miserabel. Eine Pizza allerdings kann man immer noch essen.

Leider hat sich in den letzten Monaten viel verändert. Neue Karte mit weniger Auswahl, dafür deutlich höhere Preise. Das Essen wurde leider kalt serviert. Der Service war ebenfalls schon mal wesentlich besser und viel aufmerksamer. Positiv ist allerdings, das man nicht mehr reservieren muss, weil mittlerweile immer häufiger Tische leer bleiben.

Speisen sind gut gemacht und qualitativ einwandfrei, jedoch für die sehr geringen Mengen auf dem Teller exorbitant teuer, da hilft dann auch der sehr gut eingespielte Service Nichts Lage direkt am KuDamm gegenüber der Schaubühne... ziemlich laut.. zum Stammkunde wird man hier nicht...

Wir waren nach langer Zeit mal wieder dort. Wir hatten eine Vorspeise und einen Salat mit Hühnchenstreifen. 1 Cola Zero und eine kleine Flasche Wasser. Preis unglaubliche 69€ Sorry, mit den Preisen wird sich das Restaurant nicht mehr lange halten. Man bedenke es war eine Vorspeise und eine Hauptspeise. 69€ Euro!
