Absolutely terrible service! When we ordered, we wanted a plain cappuccino instead of a cappuccino dopio, and we hadn't paid yet. Then the cashier suddenly got in a bad mood, looked at us annoyed, and after taking the checkout, simply left without telling us where we were getting our coffee. Changing an order seems like an unbelievable hassle for her. Unbelievable, never again.

Food was okay, there has been better

Ginger tea is not a real ginger tea, it is just a cup of sugar syrup with some ginger slices on it. It wasn't hot either.

I don't know what they're doing with the staff (since there weren't enough), but those who were there did a great job! For example, Endri, Ben, Medina, Brandon! The guys were great, great. P.S.: The manager should take care of that, because something's not right here.

We were here today. We had a burger with fries that was nothing special—very expensive, unfortunately. My sweetheart had a steak that was also okay. As I said, nothing special, but the prices for it were very expensive.

We were at Marche today 😩 the staff behind the buffet were very friendly and accommodating and the food was also very good.👍🏻 But then at the checkout it didn't work at all 😩 we ordered coffees and drinks (Ipanema) which are offered in large quantities on the menu. Firstly, we were pushed to the side and the lady continued to take our money instead of preparing our drinks. We waited over 15 minutes until we said that our food was already cold and that we didn't want our drinks, please. Then the lady ran away and looked for a lime pusher 🍋‍🟩 🫣 we said a few times that we wanted our money back and were ignored. About 30 minutes went by before we were told that she was doing it now and then wrong 😑 and that she brought it out to us because our food was then ice cold 🥶 there was nothing, our drinks were at the counter. What service 😳😩 (and I used to work in the catering industry myself), but that's just not acceptable. And thank you for €55 for cold food and a 30-minute wait for drinks. Never again. The coffee cart at CK was 1,000 times better—fresher, cheaper, and incredibly delicious.

We just wanted a coffee and since it took forever for any of the staff to come to our aid, we went to Starbucks instead!

The food is delicious, and there's a wide selection. You can sit outside or inside. It's a bit expensive for the size of the plate, but you can fill it up.

I haven't eaten this badly in a long time. As a chef or restaurant manager, I would be ashamed to serve something like that to customers. Beef steak with potatoes and grilled vegetables. The potatoes were ice cold, and the grilled vegetables were cold; if anything, they only saw the grill in a brochure. The steak was salted, so at least it tasted of salt. My wife's burger was also a disaster. Until now, I only had good memories of Marché, but this was my last visit, as it wasn't cheap either.

A visit to Marché Metzingen! The self-service concept didn't bother me at all, as everything is well organized and clearly laid out. A real highlight is the chef behind the counter: With a smile on his face, singing while cooking, he conjures up fresh dishes, and you can tell how much he loves his job. One small criticism (added at the end so readers don't overlook it): Unfortunately, there are only two coffee machines at breakfast, which leads to longer wait times, even for tea drinkers, as you have to queue there. A hot water dispenser or at least a pot of hot water on the side and a few types of tea would be really helpful here. A jug of milk at the cereal counter would also make things much easier. Nevertheless: A wonderful place to enjoy and feel good. I definitely recommend it; I'd be happy to come back!

Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the outdoor area leaves a lot to be desired. The tables are hardly or not wiped down at all, which is immediately noticeable when you enter. You notice that they don't clean regularly and you're literally stuck to the floor. The pricing is also a bit confusing. The staff in the store seemed a bit annoyed to me and didn't seem particularly motivated at work. Due to this overall situation, I decided to forgo the food, which is why I can't give a review. To me the store looks more like a canteen with a slightly more stylish ambience. However, the street vendor was the complete opposite. He was extremely friendly and nice, which had a significantly positive effect on the impression.

I'm a bit forgetful. I pulled out my bag in the store again and thanks to Mr. Ben in the store, his name is Ben, a very nice and lovely gentleman, he kept the bag for me and gave it back to me. In this restaurant I always feel like I'm in my own kitchen, so cozy and at home.

The location is great, situated near many shops, and the space is spacious with an interesting design. However, it’s self-service, which I’m not a big fan of. The food is average overall, but I do like the pizza since it’s freshly made. The new waffle corner is a nice addition, though a bit pricey.

Disorganized payment system and unfriendly staff The payment system in this restaurant is complicated and understandably leads to a bit of chaos. I was particularly struck by the pizza chef's behavior - arrogant, rude and as if the customer was dependent on the restaurant. He spoke in a tone as if he was just looking for an excuse to snap at guests. Something like this can quickly ruin your entire evening with family or friends. Therefore, I cannot recommend this restaurant - don't let such people unnecessarily spoil your mood, as was the case with the pizza chef here. A small ray of hope: the lady at the checkout was friendly and apologized for the unpleasant behavior. She even offered a small discount to defuse the situation.

We came across this beautiful café restaurant by chance today. Saturday morning. We saw the delicious breakfast buffet and bought it for a good price. There is an orange juice and hot drinks as much as you want. The pictures speak for themselves! We would love to come here again. Very nice and friendly service whether checkout or service. Keep it up 👏

Unfriendly, dirty, expensive. We had reserved a table for breakfast. It took us 5 minutes until one of the completely overwhelmed service staff had time for us to tell us where it was. “Yes, it should be right there at the back of the window.” But when we got there it was already occupied. We then looked for another table and got something from the breakfast buffet. When we arrived at the coffee station, we waited almost 10 minutes for someone to make us coffee. What surprised us was that everyone who stood in line at the checkout and paid got a coffee straight away. Previously, coffee was only available at the coffee counter. When we asked if we were queuing in the wrong way, the answer was blunt: "Yes, you're first in line at the checkout, you've just queued here....". Of course our food was cold by now. At the checkout I pointed out to my colleague that the table she had mentioned was already occupied. I just got the clumsy answer: "I can't look after everything here and check everything, I have to work at the cash register here. You just have to tell them something." This lady definitely understood how to skillfully turn the company's problem into the paying guest's problem. By the way, most of the tables were really dirty. A number of guests first got napkins and cleaned the tables themselves. After years, we're finally not coming anymore. You obviously don't need it anymore.

We had lunch twice at this location and had an upset stomach afterwards. All 3 people at both times which had 1 year time difference in between. The last time the plates were all dirty. The food was generally good, but a bit expensive. The food distribution involved long waiting times, so fresh dishes were rather unattractive. You can still visit the restaurant for a quick snack. However, you shouldn't expect much.

A bottle of water (0.5 liters) for €4.50 + deposit – I have no words! The service was unfriendly and not very helpful. The food? Unfortunately it's just mediocre and absolutely not worth the price.

Half full shop and plenty of staff but no one seems to have anything under control. After you've been to the breakfast buffet, you have to wait 15 minutes with a tray for coffee and the cash register (yes, the same people do that) until everything from the barely browned sausages to the limp bacon to the tetra pack scrambled eggs is ice cold. Dirty tables and chairs as well as obviously stressed staff complete the picture. Overall, the store seems to have a very coherent concept, but the local implementation is terrible.

The concept itself has a lot of potential, especially for people who pay a little attention to healthy eating. Unfortunately the food is too fatty for that. It would also be very helpful to put a small mark on the signs in the buffet indicating what is vegan. All in all it's too expensive for that.

The food was very good but the service at the tables was nothing. It would be good to use a rag to wipe the table every now and then. So you just spread the dirt from table to table and a thick, greasy film ends up on it. We were in the restaurant for 1.5 hours and noticed it again and again, but even when we spoke to the gentlemen it didn't help. So some guests actually got up again and went somewhere else.

Burger was ok. However, you can expect more for the price. You can't rate the service because it was self-service, except the containers for the trays were all completely full. And the staff really wasn't stressed at that time.

No, that's not the sausage that I pressed into my ceramics after a hearty portion of chili con carne at home. This is the veal bratwurst from Marché Mövenpick. I only found out when I asked that this disaster was supposed to be a “South American style” sausage. You can probably imagine how I felt after I just wanted to eat a bratwurst and fries. Side note: I ate some beef bratwursts at Oktoberfest this year (€6 including roll and ketchup) - and they weren't half filled with corn and beans. It's hard to believe that the price/performance ratio at Oktoberfest is better than at Marché Mövenpick. Since I have already invested more than enough time in the pictures and this text, I will not go into further detail about the poor service, the unhygienic conditions and the chaos that prevails there. That was my first and definitely last visit to this restaurant.

I have no idea if the food is good, I haven't eaten here for a long time but the Matche tea latte only tastes like apple, totally disappointing. Never again.

I went here for a work related lunch. I got a burger without a bun and fries. It was about 16 euros for a burger without a bun and an extra 4,90 for fries. I think that was rather pricey as the fries were cold and both crunchy. The burger was just a patty, cheese and lettuce and it looked just sad. Other places where I have ordered a burger without the bun, they have offered extra vegetables etc etc. I think it is ridiculous that they charge extra for mayo, ketchup and mustard after paying almost 22 euros for a burger and fries. I used to love Le Marché back in the days - now I feel it is just overpriced for what it is.
