After our shopping trip we went to Marche 😊 the chef. Eduard is so kind and courteous and an artist in his craft. The employees are very friendly and accommodating.

Very friendly staff. Lots of selection of health food. Was so delicious. The ambience is also nice. April 2025: Had a delicious meal again today. Ben recommended delicious delicacies to us and Eduard grilled a juicy, crispy steak for us. All the employees, especially Ben, are very friendly. Thank you for everything

The lady at the checkout with the transparent glasses was unfortunately very unfriendly. Otherwise the staff and the store were good.

I'm a bit forgetful. I pulled out my bag in the store again and thanks to Mr. Ben in the store, his name is Ben, a very nice and lovely gentleman, he kept the bag for me and gave it back to me. In this restaurant I always feel like I'm in my own kitchen, so cozy and at home.

Great breakfast buffet with a good selection. Unfortunately, as is often the case in restaurants, there are no gluten-free baked goods on offer. I brought my own rolls with me.

The location is great, situated near many shops, and the space is spacious with an interesting design. However, it’s self-service, which I’m not a big fan of. The food is average overall, but I do like the pizza since it’s freshly made. The new waffle corner is a nice addition, though a bit pricey.

Unfortunately the breakfast scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages was cold.

Very good self service restaurant. Big selection of meals and drinks. Nice and quiet place. In the centre of the Metzingen town outlet area. Cosy and romantic atmosphere. Very helpful and friendly staff. Delicious food. Especially vegetarian section 👍🏻 I absolutely recommend visiting this place while you are doing your shopping in one of the best designers outlet villagers.

There is delicious vegetarian food here. I can only recommend it.

Disorganized payment system and unfriendly staff The payment system in this restaurant is complicated and understandably leads to a bit of chaos. I was particularly struck by the pizza chef's behavior - arrogant, rude and as if the customer was dependent on the restaurant. He spoke in a tone as if he was just looking for an excuse to snap at guests. Something like this can quickly ruin your entire evening with family or friends. Therefore, I cannot recommend this restaurant - don't let such people unnecessarily spoil your mood, as was the case with the pizza chef here. A small ray of hope: the lady at the checkout was friendly and apologized for the unpleasant behavior. She even offered a small discount to defuse the situation.

We came across this beautiful café restaurant by chance today. Saturday morning. We saw the delicious breakfast buffet and bought it for a good price. There is an orange juice and hot drinks as much as you want. The pictures speak for themselves! We would love to come here again. Very nice and friendly service whether checkout or service. Keep it up 👏

2 stars for the bacon and the orange juice, otherwise the food unfortunately doesn't really taste good, the price-performance ratio doesn't fit It's a bit of a shame because it has a nice atmosphere and the staff are friendly :/ The selection of gluten-free products is non-existent and the selection of vegan products is very limited. We also had to clean the table ourselves first.

Unfriendly, dirty, expensive. We had reserved a table for breakfast. It took us 5 minutes until one of the completely overwhelmed service staff had time for us to tell us where it was. “Yes, it should be right there at the back of the window.” But when we got there it was already occupied. We then looked for another table and got something from the breakfast buffet. When we arrived at the coffee station, we waited almost 10 minutes for someone to make us coffee. What surprised us was that everyone who stood in line at the checkout and paid got a coffee straight away. Previously, coffee was only available at the coffee counter. When we asked if we were queuing in the wrong way, the answer was blunt: "Yes, you're first in line at the checkout, you've just queued here....". Of course our food was cold by now. At the checkout I pointed out to my colleague that the table she had mentioned was already occupied. I just got the clumsy answer: "I can't look after everything here and check everything, I have to work at the cash register here. You just have to tell them something." This lady definitely understood how to skillfully turn the company's problem into the paying guest's problem. By the way, most of the tables were really dirty. A number of guests first got napkins and cleaned the tables themselves. After years, we're finally not coming anymore. You obviously don't need it anymore.

Fast food quality, unfriendly service and expensive prices. Very unfriendly service. After waiting in line for 10 minutes, we were told that no more orders would be taken and that we should go back to the back of the line.

I was invited to the breakfast buffet and it was just great. For 20€ you can feast here on Saturday until you can't anymore. It was very, very tasty and we will be back. P.S. There are as many hot drinks as you want👍👍👍

Vegi Island: Potatoes over-salted, spinach inedible due to too much salt. Too bad.

We had lunch twice at this location and had an upset stomach afterwards. All 3 people at both times which had 1 year time difference in between. The last time the plates were all dirty. The service is friendly but overpriced food and apparently something is wrong with hygiene, don’t think it’s coincidence anymore

The food was generally good, but a bit expensive. The food distribution involved long waiting times, so fresh dishes were rather unattractive. You can still visit the restaurant for a quick snack. However, you shouldn't expect much.

One star for the fact that you can't otherwise rate it here....The food was cold and somehow unseasoned....and sorry 14 euros for a large plate that doesn't fit on anything unless you scoop it up....The cleanliness was also an absolute disaster. Standing at the checkout and waiting and waiting... the food was no longer cold but ice cold Never again...

A bottle of water (0.5 liters) for €4.50 + deposit – I have no words! The service was unfriendly and not very helpful. The food? Unfortunately it's just mediocre and absolutely not worth the price.

Half full shop and plenty of staff but no one seems to have anything under control. After you've been to the breakfast buffet, you have to wait 15 minutes with a tray for coffee and the cash register (yes, the same people do that) until everything from the barely browned sausages to the limp bacon to the tetra pack scrambled eggs is ice cold. Dirty tables and chairs as well as obviously stressed staff complete the picture. Overall, the store seems to have a very coherent concept, but the local implementation is terrible.

The concept itself has a lot of potential, especially for people who pay a little attention to healthy eating. Unfortunately the food is too fatty for that. It would also be very helpful to put a small mark on the signs in the buffet indicating what is vegan. All in all it's too expensive for that.

Different type of food, everything was tasty, personal kindly

Burger was ok. However, you can expect more for the price. You can't rate the service because it was self-service, except the containers for the trays were all completely full. And the staff really wasn't stressed at that time.

The food was very good but the service at the tables was nothing. It would be good to use a rag to wipe the table every now and then. So you just spread the dirt from table to table and a thick, greasy film ends up on it. We were in the restaurant for 1.5 hours and noticed it again and again, but even when we spoke to the gentlemen it didn't help. So some guests actually got up again and went somewhere else.

No, that's not the sausage that I pressed into my ceramics after a hearty portion of chili con carne at home. This is the veal bratwurst from Marché Mövenpick. I only found out when I asked that this disaster was supposed to be a “South American style” sausage. You can probably imagine how I felt after I just wanted to eat a bratwurst and fries. Side note: I ate some beef bratwursts at Oktoberfest this year (€6 including roll and ketchup) - and they weren't half filled with corn and beans. It's hard to believe that the price/performance ratio at Oktoberfest is better than at Marché Mövenpick. Since I have already invested more than enough time in the pictures and this text, I will not go into further detail about the poor service, the unhygienic conditions and the chaos that prevails there. That was my first and definitely last visit to this restaurant.

I have no idea if the food is good, I haven't eaten here for a long time but the Matche tea latte only tastes like apple, totally disappointing. Never again.

1 star because on the vegan section, the vegetables have lots of flies and rustling. Besides that, the place is nice and the food is delicious (without vegetables)

I went here for a work related lunch. I got a burger without a bun and fries. It was about 16 euros for a burger without a bun and an extra 4,90 for fries. I think that was rather pricey as the fries were cold and both crunchy. The burger was just a patty, cheese and lettuce and it looked just sad. Other places where I have ordered a burger without the bun, they have offered extra vegetables etc etc. I think it is ridiculous that they charge extra for mayo, ketchup and mustard after paying almost 22 euros for a burger and fries. I used to love Le Marché back in the days - now I feel it is just overpriced for what it is.

It's always great here - inside in the restaurant or outside right in the shopping arcade. The staff is really nice. Lots of choice - everyone can find something delicious to eat here. Lavish portions will definitely fill you up, especially suitable for vegetarians👍🏻 The vegan chocolate cake was highly recommended!

The burgers taste good, but are really very expensive. The staff looks like it's been raining for three days and is unmotivated. It's always dirty there, whether tables or chairs. The furnishings are really nice but the price/performance ratio is not right. They want to be upper class, but unfortunately they are not. Today I was very disappointed with the food, the cucumber on my burger was old and the fries were needy/greenish.

It's a very nice restaurant and a great selection. Unfortunately it's always very dirty here... on the benches, chairs and tables... the ingredients on the burger are sometimes dried out... unfortunately the waiting time is also very long... it's a shame

Overpriced for a self-service restaurant

The staff are rude and unfriendly, The food is completely overpriced and the man at the checkout has a hard time serving it. Outdoor area dirty, tables full. Burger completely loveless, fries almost raw. DISASTER Better stay away! 1 star is too much!

The food is great, the staff is very friendly.

You can't really get involved, the restaurant works with demanding ingredients, but you can feel that the proportions are strictly calculated. You get scissors for the pizza, great idea. The food is expensive, which I understand because it has significant added value, but the non-alcoholic drinks, which have no added value, are disgustingly overpriced, even in restaurant terms, especially as it gave me the feeling of a very demanding self-service restaurant.

The food was very, very good. A lot of heart is put into the dishes and you can taste it. Ben and Eduard in particular brightened the evening with their good service. Really recommended!

A very tasty self-service restaurant, here you can order various dishes of fish or meat, pizza, and much more. I highly recommend it.

It's good as a quick stop for a quick snack or something to drink. But the prices are quite high for the sizes.

They sell kids pizza only up to 12 years, how funny is that. Sorry kids 13 years old and over, you'll have to choose another pizza :) By the way, the ratio of burger quality and price is very inadequate. Although the whole atmosphere is really well thought out and cozy, but there are better places to eat in Metzingen for sure.

The Marché Metzingen is fantastic! Fresh, regional products and a large selection make eating here a pleasure. The service is friendly and quick. I particularly like the open kitchen and the great ambience. Perfect compromise between fast and tasty! 5 Stars!

Got some surprisingly good salmon sandwiches. Large selection of food. The staff seemed more interested in each other than the customer in line

We wanted to buy 2 small 10g portions of butter with our 2 breakfast rolls. The lady at the checkout deliberately wanted to charge us €2.50 each for a butter croissant for these two portions of butter without any friendly notice!!! That's how you would do it, was her impudent answer. To make this clear again, the 2 rolls already cost €2.20 together, for the 2 * 10g portions of butter WITHOUT croissants we had to pay €5.00 extra. Totally normal here...

Location is inviting. Unfortunately there was a problem with the oven and we had to wait over 30 minutes for our pizza. Koch had informed us. Unfortunately, the pizza ended up being far too salty due to the wrong choice of ham. A pity!

A decent restaurant, the service was slow. The restaurant only has small tables. I do not recommend this restaurant for large groups (8 people). I didn't get the dish I wanted. Desserts and coffee were good. The restaurant remains quite expensive for the quality given.

Marché Mövenpick in Metzingen. We had a “quick” beef burger with fries, very classic. Super tasty, completely fresh ingredients and deliciously prepared in front of our eyes. Mövenpick isn't exactly cheap, but the quality is good. Service, without comment, only rated with one star because, as usual, it is a self-service restaurant. But the entire ambience is simply bombastic, simply because of the wonderful structure of vegetables, salads and fruit. But of course you have to pay for all of this... Nevertheless, we like to go here.

We stopped by this place for lunch when we were shopping at the outlets. We loved all the options. Kids had pizza and a burger. We had chicken burgers as well along with freshly squeezed juices. Recommend this spot for lunch/ dinner when you are shopping at the outlets.

Iced coffee latte extremely bad. Never again.

Older woman at the checkout with white hair was very unfriendly (visited on June 29th at 5:00 p.m.). Matcha Iced Latte was not cold and tasted like a ready-made milk drink.

Principally a great choice however no one knows about allergies, no one can tell where which allergens are in. Definitely needs improvement.
