We had a bad experience with their service staff, they are not friendly to us at all and they talk to us in a very rude way, never go again!

We've eaten at this restaurant several times and have been generally satisfied. Unfortunately, our last visit was very disappointing. I'm pregnant, and my doctor specifically recommended not eating raw salads or vegetables from outside. However, since salads are always automatically included in the meals (and we pay for them, of course), I politely asked if the salad portion could be served separately on a small plate. My little daughter loves salad, and this way we could have given it to her instead of it being thrown away. The first employee immediately said, "No problem, we'll take care of it." But then another waiter came over and brought us the meal without salad and said that wasn't possible—the salad could only be omitted entirely, not served separately. We should have been given this information beforehand, especially since the first waiter had assured us otherwise. His tone was very disrespectful, which really struck us as a negative. In the end, the waiter told me that they couldn't do something like that for every guest, but only "occasionally as an exception." I replied that this was already an exception—my doctor forbids me from eating raw vegetables during pregnancy—and that I had requested it. Moreover, I wasn't even informed that this wasn't possible. Despite all these circumstances, we ended up getting the salad. However, the whole situation had significantly dampened our spirits. There was also a problem with the drink: We ordered ayran, and because of my pregnancy, I specifically wanted the pre-packaged ayran from the refrigerator. Instead, we were served the house ayran without even asking. When I pointed out that this wasn't correct, they claimed we hadn't mentioned it. However, this isn't true, because I had clearly mentioned it. And even if I hadn't, the right thing to do would have been to ask first instead of simply making a decision for us. Overall, this visit was very disappointing, especially because of the rudeness and lack of flexibility of the staff. It's a shame, because we had actually enjoyed visiting the restaurant up until then.

I can't understand all these positive reviews. The service was mediocre, and so was the food. I specifically ordered my meal with bulgur and no onions on it; neither was taken into account. Then you have to pay at the counter while others are trying to order at the same time. That's not service for me. Overpriced for the quality of the food and the ambiance. It's an upscale snack bar, with a small salad (cucumber, tomatoes, onions, and cheap olives) costing just under €10. Okay, I chose it myself, but €2.90 for a sauce I ordered separately is pretty steep!!! (The main course, "köfte plate," doesn't come with any sauce.) We were very disappointed and won't be coming back.

Outside, the organic waste bins smell of rotten meat, right next to the outdoor tables, and the smell is sickening. By far the best kebab I've had in Bremen and the surrounding Oldenburg area! The steak kebab plate was absolutely fantastic, and the portions were really generous. The atmosphere was lovely, plus there's a terrace in front of the shop. The service was very friendly, and we got our food very quickly, even though the shop was completely full.

Been a fan of Mangal for years, but the portions are getting smaller and the prices more expensive. That's why I'm not giving it 2, but 3 stars, because it was good for years. Last time we were very disappointed. The pide had significantly less cheese than usual, the meat was sometimes too dark and the base was burnt, and there was sometimes too much lettuce on it. They don't serve it anymore. I thought it was an exception, but I've been disappointed time and time again. I tried the new steak doner kebab and the meat was totally mushy; I found it disgusting. The staff used to be polite and accommodating, but I've been disappointed the last few times there too. They're friendly, but they don't pay enough attention. It sometimes takes a really long time to get served, or even for a table to be cleaned. The atmosphere is nice, though; you can sit outside, and if you order takeaway you get warm bread with it. Unfortunately, you have to wait forever, even if you pre-order. It's happened to me many times when I've been there (after 15 minutes), and only then was my order put through. The garlic sauce is really delicious; it's often the reason I wanted to eat there. I think adding a cocktail sauce would be great, too. I won't be eating there again for the time being. It's a shame, though. A few years ago, I was there almost every weekend.

You can only pay with an EC card here. I didn't carry enough cash, and there's no ATM nearby. This definitely needs to be updated. Debit cards are already the standard at many banks.

A grill restaurant has run out of bread! At around 8 p.m., a takeaway order is taken in the shop, but extra bread is not possible! Okay, but they pack the ordered food on purpose, including the bread that came with it. After a phone call from home, the employee said: oh, by mistake. Instead of sorry, we can pick up extra sauce. FYI: Steak doner plates are served on site with aci ezme and cacik (tzatziki), but for takeaway they come with red and white sauce. Tip: sit at your table and order, then have everything packed up. Otherwise you'll have much so much sauce on the table at home.

The Dürüm and Veggie Dürüm are very tasty. Table service justifies the higher prices. Restrooms are clean.

This place is definitely worth the attention of lovers of oriental cuisine! We ordered the signature large meat platter - an amazing dish served on a long metal tray. It had an abundance of different types of meat, grilled to a perfect crust. The meat was served with fried peppers and tomatoes. We were pleased that each guest was given fresh lavash and a portion of cucumber and tomato salad. Sauces were also served with the meat. For dessert, we tried their signature "Kunefe" ​​- a real discovery! This is a delicate dessert made from thin noodles with cheese inside. The dessert is decorated with pistachios on top and served with ice cream (you can order it without). The combination of hot, syrup-soaked noodles and cold ice cream creates an amazing contrast of tastes and temperatures. Crunchy pistachios add a pleasant texture to this already delicious dessert. This delicacy was perfectly complemented by traditional tea, served in glass cups. The restaurant's interior is cozy. The prices are quite reasonable, considering the portion sizes and the quality of the dishes.

The cleanliness of the restaurant and the food, as well as the quality of the food and the fresh ingredients, as well as the salad, sauces, meat, and, most importantly, the cooked and grilled meat, are everything to me. The “spicy” sauce is not spicy but rather sweet and this is not an exceptional case, I have heard this many times from various people. We ordered a grill plate for three people, but the food not only took a long time, but was also disappointing in terms of taste. Most of the meat was dry or tough, some pieces almost inedible. So we only ate about half of it - the rest was left over because it was cold and just didn't taste good. We also had three cokes and two water - I ended up paying a total of €103. For this quality and this service, this price is absolutely not justified. I was honestly shocked at the amount of the bill. A truly first-class Turkish restaurant with a very modern yet lovely ambience both indoors and outdoors. This is how you imagine a real Turkish restaurant. Flatbread is baked in a clay oven. All meat is freshly prepared on the charcoal grill. And the kebab meat is cut completely differently on the skewer and therefore has a completely different taste than in run-of-the-mill kebab shops. As a starter there was lentil soup with lemon. Never had such a delicious lentil soup. The second starter was a cheese pide with several dips. In addition to hot and mild dips, I liked the yoghurt-aubergine cream the most. The main course was kofta, one with grilled chicken and the other with lamb cutlets including rice. There was also a salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, walnuts and pomegranate seeds And I would eat this again and again. For dessert there was rice pudding which was lightly baked after cooking. All dishes are prepared with love and therefore make the food very tasty. After consultation with the owner, everything is made in-house and the aubergines for the cream are also baked in the oven for a few minutes, giving them their slightly smoky taste. We thanked them for the delicious food and promised to come back as often as possible. I can only recommend this restaurant because everyone should know what Turkish cuisine really tastes like.

Unfortunately, the service has deteriorated extremely and so has the quality of the food.... There was a hair in the food and, as if that wasn't enough, there was a very sharp piece of bone in the meat. We waited 21 minutes for the food. The waiter didn't come by once to clear things up, let alone ask if we would like anything else... in contrast, I had to go to the front and ask if we could get some food. The answer was short and just under 20-25 minutes waiting time! Then I wanted another dessert which I then had to get out of the fridge myself and therefore have to serve myself. Cay was also not offered although this is supposed to be traditional Turkish cuisine. And when I asked for tea, which of course I had to get up again, we were told to wait 5 minutes. After waiting for 10 minutes we finally got up and paid and politely thanked us. Never see you again, thank you for nothing.
