Akdeniz in Oldenburg (Oldb)

We've been regulars at Akdeniz for years and highly recommend the food and service. We'll be back... :)

Excellent service (waiter/radio), the kitchen is also flexible with special requests, and the food is very good. We eat there regularly and are always satisfied.

The food and service were good. Unfortunately, the heating was barely on, and we were quite cold. We saw that many other guests were also putting on cardigans and vests. Hopefully, the restaurant will be around for a long time, because often that's the beginning of the end, and that would be a real shame.

We've been regular customers for many years, but unfortunately we have to say that the restaurant has declined in quality. There were very long waits for the food, and the additional takeaway dish (vegetable stir-fry) was supposed to be without eggplant, but it was full of it. A shame.

We went there with friends, or more precisely, we were two couples. Our dietary requirements were quite varied, as we needed to accommodate vegetarians/vegans and other specific diets. The staff at Akdeniz went above and beyond to accommodate us and actively offered advice. Everyone was very attentive and friendly. And the best part: the food was absolutely fantastic! We felt very comfortable there and can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant! We will definitely be back!

The restaurant was handed over to the new owner in June. The prices are now significantly more attractive. The service is very attentive; although the food took a little longer today, it was served in a truly charming manner. Highly recommended – we will definitely be back. We were rather disappointed on our last visit a few years ago.

Dear Muslim brothers and sisters, many of you probably assume that the meat here is halal – but unfortunately, that's not the case. The owner sources his meat from Selgros without ensuring it has halal certification. Therefore, to be on the safe side, always ask before eating there.

Akdeniz Oldenburg is simply a winner! The food is super fresh, deliciously seasoned, and you can tell the love is put into the cooking. The portions are generous, and the value for money is absolutely spot on. The staff is also really friendly and attentive; you immediately feel welcome. For me, this is one of the best restaurants in Oldenburg if you're craving Mediterranean cuisine. Absolutely recommend it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Akdeniz, both as a family and with friends. The menu is varied but not too extensive. The dishes are prepared with finesse, and each one has its own special something. The chicken curry with artichokes and fennel, currants, and cream was served with a delicious salad, and we chose the extremely tasty bulgur as a side dish – it was simply delicious! The kofte plate is spicy and is particularly special with small sigara börek! The lamb pan with lots of vegetables, yogurt, and bulgur is a dream. The children's dishes are classics in small versions (e.g., kofte with croquettes). For dessert, puff pastry filled with pistachio cream, topped with honey and vanilla ice cream – heavenly – such a large portion, enough for two. Non-alcoholic cocktails – Ipanema is our favorite! Super friendly service – always there – yet unobtrusive – thoughtful, and absolutely child-friendly! We feel very comfortable at Akdeniz and will be coming here often now! The prices are completely justified! The ambiance: everything inside and outside is top-notch! And at the end, schnapps or tea and a lollipop for the kids! TOP!

The food was very good. The service was very attentive. The only drawback was the flies outside in the beer garden. The lovely, iridescent green cow flies. If possible, try to eat cow patties beforehand. Otherwise, it was a pleasant experience.

Super nice team, which has not let up in quality and friendliness for years and makes every effort to ensure that the guests leave the house satisfied. We have never been disappointed and everything tastes great. The staff is super nice and caters to every request. Very nice restaurant. Food was very tasty. The only point of criticism about my meal - I had the Kapadokya plate - the Metaxa sauce should have been thicker. It was so delicious, but because it was as thin as water, I couldn't even put it on my food. And as a vegetable, I would have liked something more Mediterranean instead of carrots, cauliflower and broccoli. It was good, but didn't really fit in with the rest. Price performance: at €29 per offer, it was too expensive. Service was ok, but I would have liked a little more attention to the demand for drinks, especially since the restaurant was almost empty (due to European times). We didn't ask if we wanted anything else. But otherwise the restaurant is recommended and we will definitely come back.

We have been going to Akdeniz for years to spend a few nice hours and good food on New Year's Eve. We were used to new menus and, above all, new prices coming our way, especially on New Year's Eve. In the past, this was compensated for with great service and high-quality food and drinks. But this year it wasn't just the service that was completely overwhelmed! The dishes offered, on the naturally newly created, reduced menu with high prices, also did not meet our expectations! The prices were so high and we were amazed at what food ended up on our table! The salad plate was kept very small; The main course was also small in relation to the price and not well seasoned or without any spices! The service staff were totally overwhelmed and didn't even come to the table a second time to accept drink requests! What will it be like when the VAT is raised to 19 percent? Even higher prices and inadequate service? We were disappointed with the services provided and will not visit Akdeniz again in the future!

Sehr schönes Ambiente mit tollen Speisen. Akdeniz Platte für 4 Personen ware sehr lecker! Parkplatz neben dem Restaurant und guter Service. Preise sind etwas zu hoch finde ich - wir reden hier zwar von Fleischplatten, aber so ist schon wirklich nicht notwendig.

Das Essen und der Service waren ausgezeichnet. Wir waren alle sehr zufrieden mit unseren Gerichten. Der Döner in Metaxasoße ist zu empfehlen. Wenn auch nicht typisch türkisch.

Essen war super...Service hatten wir leider das Gefühl ..gar keine Lust ...schade ..habe ich schon positiver erlebt... arbeite selber im Verkauf...und weiß das es manchmal schwer fällt freundlich zu sein...aber wenn man sich den Job aussucht ...sollte das das oberste Gebot sein ...

Leider sehr nachgelassen! Früher gerne hierhin gegangen, mittlerweile ist der Service teilweise nicht gut, es dauert ewig! Dazu hatten wir letztens ein großes Stück Plastik im Essen. Bis auf eine Entschuldigung gab es keine Reaktion vom Personal! Es wäre ja wohl mehr als angebracht, das Essen dann von der Rechnung zu nehmen oder etwas anderes anzubieten. So geht keine Kundenbindung…
