Super tasty pizza. Also unusual variations. I was there with my toddler and didn't feel like I was being disturbed. The service wasn't very attentive, but warm. The ambience was pleasant, although quite dark. Always happy!

Very very bad service. I have never experienced such unfriendly staff in a restaurant! Unfortunately the pizza tasted terribly bad, so I asked the staff about it. I was not accommodated in any way. Not in terms of price or a drink on the house or an apology!!! The response was ignorant and very unfriendly. I cannot recommend this store.

As long as you can speak English, this is the absolute best pizza in town you can find. Also they play many bangers- and I know bangers! You might need to actively seek them, if you want to pay your bill- but it‘s totally worth it, I promise. :)

Old-school interior with simple wooden tables and "school chairs" with a semi-open kitchen. Creative and seasonally appropriate pizzas made from very fluffy but thin sourdough. Pizza Margherita & Pump my Pumpkin were fine. Tip for the kitchen - it's better to preheat plates so that pizza stays hot longer.

Hip pizzas, but of the delicious variety. I've been there five times over a long period of time and the quality hasn't diminished. This also applies to the excellent, friendly and courteous service, which is unusual (good) for such a trend-driven store.

The restaurant online services were very clear and easy. The places decoration is simple and cute. The tables are a bit too close to each other for private conversation. The pizza offering was diverse, with amazing vegetarian options. The dough was delicious. The wine list was Italien and displayed only a few great choices. Simple, efficient. Friendly workers attentionate but could improve to help showcase their products and bring more heart to the place ♥️

I loved the place, the creative pizzas and the nice waitress. She made an exception and we could set outside. It was a beautiful day, with a beautiful lunch and friends. We will definitely come back.

It’s such a great restaurant that has everything in the best way. Pizzas are amazingly delicious specially the Margarita and the ambient is super cosy

The pizzas were very unique but their taste were a bit vague. Service was overall nice, it just took around 15 mins until the waitress was with us to pick our order.

Really great pizza (at very fair prices!), attentive and friendly service and a relaxed, casual atmosphere! The only disadvantage: the stomach ache you have afterwards because the pizza was too tasty to leave any leftovers 😜… We'll be back!

We used to love this place, but it seems to have changed in ways we really don't like! 1) you can no longer add extra toppings. Like every other pizzeria I know, where you can add extra toppings for extra cost - no longer an option. :( 2) there is now a big sign out front saying "please wait to be seated". Which, given that seating options are either: loud+hot by the oven, or a stagnant air room with really loud music, or outside with always someone smoking..."being seated" takes away liberty to choose between already tricky options. 3) the dough today, on all 3 of our pizzas, felt more like regular dough than the sourdough feel and taste the pizza used to have. Positives? Base tomato sauce is good. Wait staff were friendly though unaccommodating (see above about no extra toppings). Hope the management considers going back to earlier quality. :)

WONDERFUL pizzeria! The toppings, such as vegan ragu, are super interesting and make it very difficult to choose between pizza’s (even as a vegetarian, which is rare). The employees were super kind and the food and drinks arrived quickly. Lovely ambiance too.

Excellent - also vegan - pizzas with creative toppings & good selection of non-alcoholic drinks (great non-alcoholic aperitifs). It's nice to sit outside when the weather is good.

Delicious pizza at normal prices in this neighborhood. The staff is super nice and the selection is large. The pizzas are a good size and I can recommend the shop. The atmosphere is chic and modern. You can sit well on the street.

It's a very lively restaurant. The pizzas were very good but the staff was a bit overwhelmed that evening. The ambience is not for me, it may seem a bit classic, but the popularity and the large number of people seem to prove the opposite.

The pizzas look more spectacular than they are - unfortunately. Mamida was recommended to me by a friend. I often walked past it and always saw these very artistic, very well thought out pizzas. When I finally ate there, I noticed that the pizzas were really well thought out on the outside, but unfortunately they tasted a bit unspectacular. So they were solid pizzas. But from the outside, I would have expected more. But the pizzas look really good

Lovely sourdough pizza! Definitely worth a visit. The Margarita was delicious. The Green Wood was also nice, however not fully convinced about the leek cream/sauce as it was slightly bland. Staff was friendly, it was a nice place with outdoor seating area and they played suitable, comfortable music for dining. Only complaint would be the Tiramisu which reminded more of a cream filled chocolate layered cake.

Finally a pizzeria that goes beyond traditional tastes. Creative compositions.

Authentic Neapolitan pizza with creative toppings. Took us a little longer than expected. However, it was worth the wait. Making a reservation is definitely a good idea.

Because of the good reviews and because I was craving sourdough pizza, I went to the store to order a pizza to take away. Unfortunately, the pizza was so sad that I'm still annoyed about having paid so much money for it. I only ate them because I was hungry and didn't want to throw food away. Had the pizza with anchovies and herb crumble. Supposedly there were supposed to be capers on it, but I didn't taste any. When it comes up, there were only 3 anchovies on it. The weird crumble was just dry and didn't taste like anything. There was a thick layer of tomato sauce on it, which was also completely unseasoned. The cheese was spread over the pizza in thin strips and there was so little that you couldn't taste it either. One plus point: the sourdough was fine. I really wonder where all the good reviews come from. Possibly It was just because of the pizza I ordered. Or the cook forgot the spices and salt in the tomato sauce. I was really sad after I finished eating. But I probably won't try it a second time.

My new favorite pizzeria - Exceptional pizza and first class service!

Ich kann diese Pizzeria nur wärmstens empfehlen! Die Pizza ist außergewöhnlich lecker belegt, mit einem perfekt knusprigen Boden und frischen, hochwertigen Zutaten. Wir waren mit Freunden essen und jede Bestellung war ein voller Genuss. Das Personal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Service ist schnell und effizient, und die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und einladend.

pizza places are a lot but if you want to try something unique this is the place to go. you dont find anywhere in berlin this taste. And if you also have appreciation to what you drink, you get high quality IPA beer and excellent wine.

It was a good, but Purple Rain pizza was a bit burning

Mamida delivers consistent quality. I have been a customer since opening day and I have never been disappointed. Delicious, fresh ingredients and excellent service. Good value and highly recommended. There is also art exposed for sale inside the restaurant.

Very tasty and unusual pizzas :)

Pizzas were best in Berlin, we took green wood, Purple Rain and To fig or not to... Only give 4 stars because the desserts were mediocre and the tiramisu was particularly small and bland. I was so dissapointed I went out to look for another dessert somewhere else (and found a terrific ice cream down the street). I expect from a place that makes such outstanding pizza to have more expressive desserts. Will definitely return because of the pizza and because the time that it takes me to get a table at Gazzo is more than the time that it would take me to travel to Mamida (and have better Pizzas)

Best pizza in berlin, no doubts!!! Everything else looks cheap if its compared to mamida’s pizza. Quality in ingredients but also a master crafted sour-dough.

I tried margaritas. It's on the list of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. I liked it very much.

Probably nothing if you want to eat a good pizza. Overpriced for low food. Without love, without charm, without finesse.

Unfortunately the pizza wasn't that great. There was a lot of skimping on tomato sauce, so there were some areas on my pizza without sauce. The taste was also very bland and barely there. Unfortunately the pizza is far too expensive for that. Nevertheless the staff was very nice and friendly!

Pizza with a difference but really tasty. We ordered 5 different pizzas and they were all really tasty. Our personal favorites were both the Purple Rain and Alpen Wind but as I said, they all convinced us. The service was very attentive and nice. All in all, a very nice evening and definitely not the last.

I found this place when searching for dinner and it was a nice surprise. First, the pizza is delicious. The ingredients are fresh and of high quality. They have some unusual options on the menu, things that you don't see elsewhere. It's different but worth trying out, I don't think you will regret it. The service was very fast and friendly!

Pizzas were completely overpriced at €15 but were quite good, Aperol Spritz consisted of around 70% ice cubes (as is usual in Berlin restaurants). The wooden tables were shaky, the candles burned out and were not replaced. Overall, a loveless atmosphere. The staff inattentive. Shops like this can only exist in Berlin because the Berlin public really lets themselves be served anything without really looking behind the facade. In my opinion, Berlin is becoming dead through restaurants like this.

Here you will find rather unusual toppings for the pizzas that definitely deviate from the standard, such as lemon or truffle honey. Since I wanted to keep it simple, I chose the Margherita. Contrary to many reviews here, I wouldn't say the dough was fluffy. Nevertheless, the pizza was really delicious. The dough was thin, the tomato sauce tasted very fresh and was also liquid. And the topping was also super tasty. I was very satisfied here. The price is slightly higher compared to average.

Good sourdough pizza, loves the various specials and options they had. The inferno disco and the anchovies were especially tasty. The margarita and the Mariana were a bit dull and could have done with some more seasoning. It’s on the pricy side for Berlin. I appreciated the disco lights on the way to the bathroom—the art is a bit so-so, it’s all semi-hazy 90ies inspired sex references, something from a Quintin Tarantino movie when he’s making a point about how bad 1990s art was But setting these aesthetic gripes aside, their pizza is solid

Love it! Each time I visit Berlin, I pass by for quick limoncello and a pizza. The hospitality provided from the head waitress (Ana) feels like I’ve never left this place. Way to go! Definitely in my top 3 places to catch a quick bite.

The pizza is okay. The sourdough base was very tasty, but the Truffle Sensation (promotional pizza) didn't taste like truffles and even the otherwise very intense wild garlic didn't come through at all. The service wasn't great either. We had to wait a long time to be seated, even though there were many spots available. We already knew when we sat down which pizzas and drinks we wanted to order, but then we had to wait 15 minutes despite telling the waitress. Meanwhile, new people had already arrived and their orders were taken first and baked accordingly. The waiting time for the food also dragged on. The ambience is very nice inside. Unfortunately there are only beer tent tables/benches outside. So it's not that comfortable in the long run.

We tried this pizzeria in Berlin and were pleasantly surprised! The pizzas are very good, with light dough and fresh toppings. The environment is welcoming and the staff is really kind and helpful. The service was fast and the price I would say is average for Berlin. The only negative note as far as I'm concerned is that they don't accept Amex... We definitely recommend this place for a tasty Italian evening in Berlin!

Unfortunately there has been a change in the recipe/preparation :( It used to be the tastiest pizza in Berlin - soft, fluffy dough and great toppings. Unfortunately the last two times the dough was hard, flat and crispy and definitely topped with other mozzarella. It's a real shame. Unfortunately, we lost two regular customers.

This was our favorite restaurant that we tried in Berlin! Truly one of the best pizzas we have ever had. We wish we had this restaurant in our hometown, we would go there every weekend :)

I am a lover of the basic. I love a basic margherita pizza. However, the “Pizza with Attitude“ would outshine even the most amazing Margherita. The “To Fig or Not” was also very good if you enjoy a unique pizza creation with a little kick.

We went to Mamida in the evening and had excellent pizzas. The sourdough really tastes much better than pure wheat dough. The pizzas were lavishly topped. You should make a reservation on the weekend, otherwise you will have to wait a little longer.

Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere in the front room. However, the pizzas are not recommended at all, we had different types and couldn't finish them. It tastes more like bad frozen pizzas and is expensive, which is a shame.

I had a Margaritha pizza. Very tasty, the dough is wonderfully crispy. You should copy the menu onto your cell phone using the QR code on the table top. I would have preferred a menu. Well, a matter of taste. Overall, the restaurant appears sober, despite good paintings on the wall.

It used to be one of the best in the neighborhood but something changed. I went last week the service was patronizing and rude and the dough was definitely not them same: crispy and flat unlike before. Not the first time either experiencing this quality.

Disclaimer: to really evaluate a pizza place, you should get a Margherita, which I didn't. Nevertheless, the Alpen Wind has good ingredients and I love the dough, but it's too dry. I'd suggest it only in combination with a tomato-based pizza. Service-wise, the waitresses were really nice, but it took 45 minutes for 2 pizze and it was really expensive. The music was really loud, and therefore everyone was talking loudly as well. The place is also small so people bounced on my chair all the time. Not the best, but not bad either. Probably better to take away.

My friend and I dropped by this place when a sudden craving for pizza came, and it did not disappoint. We ordered a Green Wood pizza, and a Margarita because that one is always a safe option in a new place. For drinks, we had the lemon lemonade and the grape fruit lemonade. Both of the pizza were delicious, warm and tasted fresh. The Green Wood pizza (with Lauchcreme, Mozzarella Fior di Latte, seasonal Pilze, parsely and lemon Gremolata) was lovely! I especially loved the slight citrus taste the lemon gremolata gave it. The lemonades were really good, albeit a tad bit pricy in my opinion, but we enjoyed them regardless. (Our total was around €34, so approximately €17 per person, very fair for the lovely meal we've had!) The atmosphere was warm and cozy, the staff were all friendly and sweet, especially the lady who sat us and took our orders, and we had a perfectly easy time communicating in english (a blessing since neither my friend or I speak german in the slightest)

Innovative pizza creations paired with classic Neapolitan dough. If you like fluffy, classic pizza but like to try new flavors, this is the place for you.

We tried the “Disco Inferno” and “Alpen Wind”. The dough was very tasty, I liked the "Disco Inferno" more as it was juicier and had a strong tomato aroma. The “Alpine Wind” was a bit dry. We sat next to the work table and the boss prepared the pizzas. He is very friendly.

I will definitely come here again to eat this amazing pizza!
