Great place, delicious and fast food!

Quaint pizzeria, friendly service, delicious pizza, good Negroni

Big portions, incredibly tasty and olives on the house :)

No seats available, reservations required, but... we were given the opportunity to use the reserved table if we could make it in an hour 🤪. This is how a venue should be optimized.

It was very crowded, but everything was fine.

We went last night and some if the meals where cold so sent back . They where returned to us hot but the same meal ? Too night the meals where ok but the service is shocking . If you are German ok but if you don't speak there language then the service is non existent. When we had finish are mains it took them 15 mins to clear and not once was we asked if it was ok or did they sell us drinks or desserts to follow . We paid the bill and left . Even then we had to wait 20 mins for the bill . Other German speaking customers where spoken to great ,check backs ,selling up etc but not the English ? So if your here for the Christmas markets then stay away from this place if you speak English and want service .

We stumbled upon the Marienkäfer restaurant by chance and absolutely loved it. It's perfect for a solo pizza or pasta, a celebration with friends, or a date. The atmosphere is lovely, too. And it wasn't just the pizza that was amazing. :-)

You can definitely get the best tiramisu in town here! We came on a recommendation and left very happy. The food arrived really quickly, and the staff knew exactly what we wanted. Highly recommended!

Excellent food: We were a large group and had a separate room where we ordered pizza and pasta, along with some appetizers and desserts. Everything was delicious. The menu ranges from classic to creative, and the service is very friendly and attentive.

I was craving a different kind of food in Berlin, so I found this Italian restaurant. When I'm hungry, one dish per person is perfect. The pizza was fine, but the carbonara was too oily. For some reason, it was so greasy that it pooled at the bottom of the bowl. I recommend just eating the pizza.

Great place for lunch, cozy atmosphere. Comfortable furniture invites you to stay longer. It's self-service at lunchtime, and the prices are reasonable.

Ein kleine Pizzeria in der Seitenstraße von Berlin in der Marienstraße. Frisch und schnell zubereitet. Personal ist flink unterwegs. Preise sind Moderat das Angebot ist umfangreich die Portionen sind groß bis ausreichend. Immer wieder gern und zu empfehlen.

The Burrata starter was excellent, the Aglio e Olio main course with scampi was okay but not spicy enough, the Crème Brûlée was okay but not great, and the Limoncello was not well chilled.

We ate there on Sunday. We all felt very comfortable. We tried the steak and the pasta. Both were delicious. Next time we'll definitely try the pizza. The staff is very attentive and friendly.

So, my friend Leonie from Stuttgart was on a school trip to Berlin recently – and I swear, she's been talking about one thing ever since: Pizzeria Marienkäfer! 🍕🐞 She said it wasn't just pizza, it was a declaration of love for the Italian oven. And the tiramisu? According to her, it was so good that she briefly considered leaving her suitcase there and just moving into the pizzeria. 😄 The team was supposedly super friendly – ​​almost as if they had imported the Italian way of life directly to Berlin. Leonie said even the waiter would probably have sung along a bit while serving if "Volare" had been playing in the background. 🇮🇹🎶 So, dear Marienkäfer team: If you ever open a branch in Stuttgart – Leonie will definitely be first in line!

A pleasure on all levels, spontaneously discovered yesterday

Server lazy and no effort. Lasagna really good. The naan bread was dry and trash.

It's a very decent place with delicious food. I tried pizza and 200gr of meat, it was very successful. It can be quite crowded in the evenings.

The best pizza I've had in Mitte, the staff is friendly and fast. The style and atmosphere are perfect for a dinner with friends or a romantic evening. I'll definitely be back, highly recommended.

Very tasty pizza, well served, good atmosphere

We were there on the last weekend of summer, and the place was very crowded, and the servers seemed a bit overwhelmed. They at least noticed the chaos and gave us two desserts on the house. The couscous salad on the mixed appetizer platter was way overdone, and the main courses were tasty, but they could have been a bit more generous. My friends who have been there before said the restaurant is otherwise better. 😅

My absolute favorite Italian restaurant. It's getting bigger and bigger these days, along with the neighboring restaurants. And rightly so, because it's really good. My favorites are the appetizer platter and the pasta tartufo!

What a load of crap... You reserve weeks in advance and still don't have a table. If you don't want to leave anything to chance while preparing for a marathon, better stay away from Ladybug. The pizzas looked quite tasty, though!

Found this place on trip advisor and made a plan to have lunch here - it’s the day before my husband runs the Berlin marathon and he needs to carb-load! The reviews and restaurant didn’t disappoint- great service and delicious food. my husband went for the large Hepburn pizza…which had to be brought out by 2 waiters! I had the regular Dietrich. All delicious.

Very delicious food! The olives, oil, and herbs were very mild and flavorful. The pasta had plenty of garlic and chili heat with fresh scampi. The cannelloni was fresh and tomatoey, and the spinach and feta were well-balanced overall. The wasps outside were a bit annoying. The servers were mostly friendly and helpful. We didn't have to wait long for the food. The bruschetta is also highly recommended. Next time, we had pizza, but it was a bit too crispy in places. Delicious, but that could be improved.

Very good Italian pizza at prices ranging from €10 to €16. Draft beer €5.20. I recommend it.

We were there as a group of seven, and even though we didn't have a reservation, we were given a table. We waited about 5-10 minutes for our food. Everything arrived at the same time and was also cheaper. For seven of us, we paid about €90 (including drinks).

Personally, I found it a bit too loud. I highly recommend the pizza!

If you don't mind self-service, you should definitely stop here. Perfect stone-baked pizza with a unique flavor. The menu's variety exceeds that of other Italian restaurants. Absolutely outstanding value for money. Beautiful ambiance and friendly staff!

I've been here several times, and I always receive super special treatment. The flavors are exquisite, the wine is exquisite, and the coffee is delicious. Obviously, the dishes are top-notch. The service is heavenly.

We were sitting comfortably together after a hearty (and expensive) meal and were (politely) thrown out 1.5 hours after our first order, even though the restaurant was less than a third full and we would have liked a little more peace and quiet. Hard to comprehend.

I arrived and was allowed to sit wherever I wanted. It took a while for them to bring me the menu. The food was very good and the waitress was very friendly.

We visited here for a evening meal with kids. Food and portions are good. Pizza is not doughy and is with a nice thin crust. Good location. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Good and lovely atmosphere with great hosts.

We were in this restaurant twice, the first time was perfect in every way, the second time they took us to a place they have in front, I think it's called burger cafe, and they had a show of dancers on, which was really good to liven up the dinner, but every moment they came to you with shots for you to drink, I personally went there for dinner not to get drunk, and then they also pass you the bottle so you can tip the dancers, the truth is I had never experienced this before, well here in Berlin it must be normal. The food I insist was very good and abundant.

Really enjoyed this restaurant while in Berlin. I was solo and they got me a table right away at 6:30 on a Saturday. Service and Pizza were excellent - just like all of the reviews. They suggested a custom pizza (with spicy Italian salami) and it was fantastic. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The welcome, service, ambiance, and delicious food were all excellent. We chose this restaurant for Friday dinner, and even though we didn't have a reservation, we were lucky enough to find one last spot in the open section. Although the pizzas are named differently on the menu, we tried the Margherita and Burrata pizzas. Both were delicious and quite filling. It's hard to find good pizza in Germany that compares favorably to the Italian ones, so I highly recommend trying this place. The after-dinner treat was also very nice, and I especially thank the gentleman at the counter for his attentiveness. This is a place we'll return to when we're in Berlin. I highly recommend it.

I was here for the first time yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. The pizza had fresh toppings, the dough was nice and thin and crispy. I especially liked the homemade tomato sauce – not too sour, not too sweet. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The price was absolutely reasonable for the quality.

The pizza is very tasty and the prices are okay for this location. Unfortunately, the staff is very inattentive and doesn't seem to really want to sell anything. First, we had to wait a very long time for our order to be taken, then we were left with empty glasses for almost an hour and a half without being asked once if we wanted another drink.

One of the best Italian restaurants we've ever been to! Highly recommended. We had bruschetta, gnocchi tartufa, and chanterelle pasta – everything was truly excellently prepared and a true taste sensation. The only minor drawback was that our table was right next to construction fences, which somewhat dampened the atmosphere. Otherwise, it was an all-around excellent experience – we'll definitely be back!

The service and ambiance are impeccable. The bartender could easily be promoted to waiter. Very personable and accommodating. The non-Italian dishes should be removed from the menu. It doesn't make sense for the concept. The pizza needs improvement. My Sartre pizza seemed a bit wild. I think spicy salami and Gorgonzola just don't go together. The onions were cut much too large. Most importantly, the dough hadn't been resting well. It was too tough and seemed too thick. P.S.: This is all my opinion, of course, and you're welcome to disagree.

We're in Berlin for a short break with our kids. We wanted to go to an Italian restaurant because of the kids; pasta is always a good idea ;) We chose the restaurant based on the reviews. And we weren't disappointed. The food was excellent and the price was reasonable.

I ordered the lasagne, and although I usually can’t finish a full portion, this one was surprisingly small. For the price, it was quite a disappointment. I guess that’s why they include a piece of bread on the side. The taste was okay, but definitely not great.
