Das Restaurant verbindet hervorragende Küche mit einem besonderen Ambiente und einem beeindruckenden Blick über die Landschaft des Erzgebirges. Besonders begeistert uns die hohe Qualität der Speisen. Hier wird mit viel Liebe zum Detail gekocht, moderne Gerichte werden kreativ interpretiert und die verwendeten Produkte überzeugen durch Frische und Qualität. Jeder Teller zeigt, dass Genuss hier einen hohen Stellenwert hat. Was den Besuch aber wirklich außergewöhnlich macht, ist das Team. Freundlichkeit, Aufmerksamkeit und echter Servicegedanke begleiten den Gast vom ersten Moment an. Man fühlt sich willkommen, wertgeschätzt und rundum wohl. Für unseren Sportwagen Club sind solche Orte etwas Besonderes. Nach einer schönen Ausfahrt durch die kurvenreichen Straßen des Erzgebirges den Abend in angenehmer Atmosphäre, bei gutem Essen und interessanten Gesprächen ausklingen zu lassen, macht den Besuch jedes Mal zu einem Highlight. Wir sind zwar nicht oft im mamazita, aber wenn, dann immer wieder begeistert. Schickes Ambiente, wunderbares Essen, sehr zuvorkommender und sehr freundlicher Service, dazu auch gute Einführung oder Empfehlungen zu dem gewählten oder noch nicht gewählten Essen 😉 Mehr gibt's nicht hinzufügen 😁❣️ --- Toiletten sind sauber, stilvoll, sogar mit leichter Hintergrundmusik und auf den Damentoiletten gibt es 2 seperate Toiletten für "Mutter mit Kind".

Ein Restaurant der Extraklasse - selten so toll gespeist in so angenehmer Umgebung. Spontan am Abend einen Tisch bekommen ohne Reservierung bei einem sehr freundlichen Empfang. Das Restaurant ist stilvoll eingerichtet, die Tische sowie Gäste gut positioniert. Super freundlicher Service und was soll ich sagen Essen in einer so tollen Qualität, dass einem die Worte fehlen. Nach einem leckeren Gruß aus der Küche folgten die ausgezeichneten Hauptspeisen und anschließend kunstvoll kreierten Desserts. Alle Speisen und Getränke haben uns sowohl handwerklich als auch geschmacklich voll überzeugt. Wir werden wohl wieder kommen müssen ;)

Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Abend! Die Atmosphäre war sehr angenehm, das Essen köstlich und die Getränke hervorragend. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der aufmerksame und ausgesprochen freundliche Service – wir und unsere Gäste haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Essen, Service und Ambiente sind wirklich super.

Wir waren zu unserem 10. Hochzeitstag mit unserem Zweijährigen und unseren beiden Hunden im Mamazita zum Abendessen. Es war perfekt! Das Personal war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es ist sehr ansprechend eingerichtet und die Qualität und Präsentation vom Essen und den Getränken war toll. Preis-Leistung war absolut angemessen und nicht überteuert. Natürlich ist es etwas gehobener, aber das weiß man, wenn man dort reserviert. Wir haben einen Abend vorher online reserviert und es war großartig, dass wir zwei Hunde mitbringen durften. Das ist nicht selbstverständlich. Wir haben vegetarisch gegessen und das war ausgezeichnet.

Wenn man im Elldus resort kein Allinclusive hat, wird es hier sehr teuer für 2 Erwachsene und 2 kinder. Da die kinder ja nicht so viel Essen, mussten wir Erwachsenen den pauschalbetrag abessen. Aber zum positiven!!! Das Essen (buffet) war echt mega gut und reichhaltig. Es war für jeden etwas dabei, besonders für die kinder gab es eine sehr gute Auswahl an Speisen. Und die Idee mit den spielzeugkisten am Eingang ist auch super. Unsere Kids (8 Jahre und 2 Jahre alt) haben sich mehr als wohl gefühlt. Wir empfehlen es gerne weiter.

Das mamazita war ist eine Reise für den Gaumen und die Seele. Man konnte hier entspannt es und sein perfekt zubereitetes essen genießen. Das Fleisch war auf den Punkt gegart, super zart und perfekt abgeschmeckt. Die Nachspeisen waren auch mit viel Liebe e zum Detail angerichtet. Die Getränke waren sehr lecker. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Restaurant ist seht schön eingerichtet und bis ins Detail durchdacht. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Excellent. We were there with our two-year-old son. Everything was lovingly prepared and arranged for us.

We were guests at the Eldus Resort and went to eat here on our last day. For the first time, I exceeded the €160 mark for our family of four. It was a bit of a shock at first, as I simply hadn't expected it. But in times when a doner kebab costs €8, I guess I'll have to get used to the fact that really good food now simply costs what we paid. The ambiance, the food, and the wine were all fantastic. We've rarely eaten so well. Nothing came from a can. So the price is simply reasonable, and in my opinion, you can't blame the owner; the menu is open to the public and not a secret. I would therefore recommend that price-sensitive people take a look at the menu, but I can promise you that the quality offered is absolutely top-notch.

If you're looking for a truly culinary treat, this is the place to be. The service is impressive, the ambiance is wonderful, and the food is delicious... Of course, the prices are a bit on the higher side... but they're worth every cent... Thank you for the wonderful evening...

I would say mamazita is the best restaurant we've ever visited. We had an incredibly lovely evening. The food was perfect. It was prepared with great care and attention to detail, making it a pleasure to eat. The same goes for the drinks. The service was very attentive and not at all intrusive; truly very pleasant. The restaurant manager is very ambitious and very personable.

Recommend taking the steak. The meat was really beautifully tender, and they have very interesting seasoning you can put on it

We were there for our wedding anniversary. We received a wonderful welcome. The service was first-class. Great wine recommendations and a pleasant conversation with the restaurant manager. When the wine glasses were empty, we were promptly refilled from our ordered bottle. Each course was pure enjoyment. A 300°C hot stone was placed next to our main course to keep the individual components warm. We were served homemade broken chocolate and a free aperitif with dessert. The ambiance was very pleasant and modern. The higher price is worth it. Everything is just right here.

What an evening! We put together a delicious menu. All the dishes were prepared with great attention to detail and perfectly balanced. The chef provided a first-class wine service and was also very accommodating and polite, making recommendations that we were happy to follow. The ambiance was very elegant, it was beautifully quiet, and the staff took their time with us. They work with a high degree of perfection. The value for money definitely pays off here! We'll definitely be back – it's something truly special – you have to experience it for yourself!

I simply, quite staunchly, but successfully, refused to sit in any dark corner [at 5(!) p.m. on a weekday (with a reservation and a previously stated reason)]. Unfortunately, there's no outdoor area, and inside there are very, very few bright seats, or even those with the otherwise gigantic view. The only table directly by the panoramic window (in fact) always has to remain free, presumably to show mere mortals where they don't belong. Perhaps this fact is a bit too decadent for O-thal?? The few other guests who were there at the same time as us were, of course, dressed to the nines and heavily perfumed...we stupid two academics just wanted to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary as a family - no luck. The food was overall good to very good. The portions were very manageable. My guacamole was already slightly sizzling, but surprisingly, wasn't brown at all. My husband's porcini mushroom gnocchi tasted a bit bland. Since the changing room of the family resort is right next door, there is a rather strong smell, at least in the entrance area of ​​the establishment described here.

Despite the alpine surroundings, the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by warm colors, Latin music, and a cozy, lively atmosphere that felt like a slice of South America in the Erzgebirge. The interior blends rustic wooden elements with vibrant decorative touches — think colorful textiles, artistic wall details, and soft lighting that sets a welcoming tone. We were a group of four, coming in for dinner, and were seated quickly despite the restaurant being quite full — a good sign! The service was friendly, attentive, and personal. Our server took time to explain the dishes and even gave recommendations based on our preferences. Food and drinks came at a good pace, and we never felt rushed despite the restaurant being quite busy. There’s a relaxed, joyful vibe here — ideal for groups of friends, couples, or even families with kids. In the background, a carefully curated Latin playlist added an authentic touch without being overpowering.

This wasn't our first time dining here, and we thoroughly enjoyed it again. All in all, a great evening with friends. However, the surcharge for any menu changes seems irritating in a restaurant like this. It should be standard service at this price point.

We can recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants excellent service, food and a really nice evening. Price performance is very good and we ate there twice in a row. Once 10 people with 4 children (1 1/2 years to 10 years) and once just the two of us with our dog. Every time we were treated to great service. When we ordered, all of our wishes were taken into account and very good recommendations were made. The food was of excellent quality and arrived at the same time (sometimes not so easy with a larger group) The starters and dessert were also very good. There are enough wines to suit every budget. Everything great! Food, service, atmosphere, everything was great, which cannot be said about the hotel where you are staying. Somehow it doesn't fit together at all.

Prices are a bit high. I've eaten so well for 10 to 15% less. We ate there several times. Remarkably good service (we were served by a young woman. Very professional, even with our complaint). The ambience and the table layout were nice, the food was good to very good, but that doesn't justify these prices (it's "only" Oberwiesenthal). Conclusion: You can treat yourself to this sometimes, but not so often or regularly.

From the greeting, placement, the first conversations with the head waiter and service staff, the great food, perfect recommendations from the kitchen and the bar, to the end of the evening with a loving greeting and one last little treat (homemade chocolate curds). It was really special and we hope for many successful years for the team and stay true to you and the concept! Personal recommendation: switch to adults only. No one would be offended by it, but it would fit the ambience and concept even more and ensure peace of mind for the staff and other guests if no small children were allowed. Families can eat in the buffet restaurant next door.

Four of us were there for dinner. The starters and drinks were very tasty, which couldn't be said about the main courses. The rump steak was ordered medium and came medium rare with tendons, my ripeye steak was ordered medium rare and not only had an eye of fat but was very fatty. The turkey breast was very hard and gristly and finally the goose leg was not edible. After we complained about this, the boss must have noticed that the chef was having a bad day and he only let us pay for two dishes. Then they forgot about the espresso they had ordered and turned the ceiling lighting one level brighter. We tried this restaurant based on a recommendation, but we won't be recommending it to anyone!

The atmosphere is really great and very stylish! The waitresses are friendly, quick and simply good! But…. The restaurant manager managed to turn the evening into a negative one for our company. He belittled the serving staff in front of the guests several times in a way that we have never seen or heard before! Incredible! The food is of good quality, beautifully presented in places but does not correspond to the prices quoted! You want to be more like you are now! Nevertheless, the Elldus resort is recommended and an experience for children!

We were at mamazita for the Mother's Day special "Tapas Variations" on May 12, 2024. We had been meaning to visit for a long time and we were not disappointed! A very attentive and extremely friendly service team accompanied us through a magical evening. The starter and main course each consisted of many small courses, all of which were outstanding. If you didn't like something you could deselect it or get another portion if something was particularly good. Complemented by great drinks, we women had a wonderful evening and even though we couldn't make a reservation for next year, we probably found a new tradition. Thank you!

Culinary pampering program at a high level! The “pampering program” begins with a friendly greeting, accepting your coats and being shown to your seat. We were able to enjoy a great view outside. The current creations and recommendations were presented to us excellently, making it very difficult for us to make a decision. At the beginning we had an aperitif as recommended. It included excellent bread with great spreads. The right wine is suggested for the main course. You always feel welcomed and pampered by the staff. I describe it as a “drop and enjoy”. Whether it's the right food, wine, cocktails or desserts, you'll have a lovely evening. Highly recommended.

Upscale restaurant in the middle of Oberwiesenthal. Food and service were very tasty. The only thing that was a bit annoying was the constant putting in and covering of glasses and cutlery. But it's probably common in a location like this.

We reserved a table in the restaurant to enjoy a nice and delicious meal. At first we were disappointed by the extremely limited selection on the menu, unfortunately we didn't find anything special there. However, what disappointed us most was the attitude of one of the staff members who served us. It seems a little inappropriate to judge people and recommend some cheap places to them when we haven't asked. I felt like this was a superior attitude towards customers.

There was a waiter about 50 years old, he is brave, he judges the guests and talks to them in a humiliating way. It's unbelievable how disrespected I felt so we decided not to eat and canceled the booking

We spontaneously became aware of the restaurant while on vacation. Everything is right here! Modern and regionally designed ambience. A very very large menu and food of the highest quality. The staff is very polite, courteous and 100% professional. This restaurant is definitely a must for every holidaymaker in the region.

We made reservations online and specified a child. When we arrived, our jackets were removed and hung on the coat rack and we were escorted to the table. There was already a children's chair there. We were warmly welcomed and served very well. The food was very good, the drinks were made to order (my husband and I had the same cocktail, I like it sweeter and he likes it sour. That's how the cocktail was served). The atmosphere was very appealing and, above all, everyone was very fond of children. We would love to come back, even if the price is a bit high. But the price-performance ratio is 100%.

We celebrated New Year's Eve 2023/24 with a 6-course menu. It was just great. The food, the service, the ambience, everything was just right. The saxophonist accompanied the meal very discreetly, followed by a DJ. Simply a successful evening.

Bis auf eine Kleinigkeit alles perfekt. Ambiente, Service, Speisen. Einziger (kleiner) Kritikpunkt: Wir waren zu zweit und die Vorspeise wurde abgeräumt als ich selbst noch nicht fertig war. Ansonsten mehr als empfehlenswert. Wer auf gute Küche in einem sehr entspannten, modernen und ruhigen Ambiente wert legt, kann hier nichts falsch machen.

Wahnsinnig gutes Essen, die Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich und es herrscht eine familiäre und doch sehr private Atmosphäre. Die Cocktails waren toll hergerichtet. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Einen tollen Abend, mit einer tollen Unterhaltung durch Fräulein Clara erleben können. Das Essen war super und sehr schön angerichtet.

Ich bin kein Freund der Rezensionen und schreibe in Anbetracht der Situation der Gastronomie in unserem Land schon gar keine negative - die außergewöhnliche Leistung des Mamazita am gestrigen Abend - gleich ob Service, Küche oder Ambiente - veranlasst mich jedoch, es heute zu tun. Wir waren mit einigen lieben Freunden zu Gast und alles war perfekt - das Fleisch auf dem Punkt, die Weine - insbesondere der Spanier (Torro) perfekt und das Fachwissen des Chefkellners und dessen unaufdringlicher Humor rundeten den Abend zur Perfektion ab. Hier war und ist ein jeder Euro gut angelegt! Weiter so, liebes Team...

Wir sind völlig zufällig dort essen gewesen und waren wirklich überrascht in Oberwiesental solch einen gastronomischen Juwel entdeckt zu haben . Wer auf Fine Dining steht , kommt voll auf seine kosten ohne utopisch viel zu zahlen . Grosses , grosses Lob an den Küchenchef und sein Team . Service und Ambiente waren wirklich Tiptop
