I was there yesterday for the first and last time... I ordered cannelloni. The ground beef was gray, oversalted, and tasted like fondor/broth. There was hardly any tomato or meat sauce. It wasn't exactly a highlight, either visually or in terms of taste... The restaurant is also very dated. The menu says it's been there since 1977. It seems like it hasn't been renovated since then. The plaster on the ceiling is cracked, the water pipes in the restroom are exposed (which isn't a big deal in itself) and so dirty that they haven't been wiped down in years. Only the chairs and tables have been replaced and are a bit more modern. The service was okay, although I would have liked to order another drink, but then no one came to ask. Plus, the noise from the kitchen and the coffee machine was so loud that it just got annoying.

The food is delicious, the service is quick and the decor is cozy

Delicious food, everything was good. What I didn't like, however, was that smoking was allowed in the conservatory. We were there with a large group of children, and the guests continued smoking despite my request. Or rather, lit new cigarettes.

Well, I went there once and never again. Christmas decorations were still hanging in the summer garden, and there was something lying or standing around almost everywhere. The tables weren't beautifully set like in the pictures. They were just old, dated tables without any tablecloths or anything like that. One candle wasn't even lit. It didn't take long before my order was taken. The starter was okay, too. My main course was inedible. Neither the meat nor the vegetables were seasoned. It was swimming in broth. There wasn't even salt or pepper on the tables. I wasn't charged for my meal, but experience teaches you. I won't be going back.

The worst restaurant I've ever visited. The pizza was terrible, with barely any toppings, a thick base, and everything oily. The atmosphere was a disaster.

It still looks like it did in my childhood, which isn't a bad thing, but it's kept very simple. The food is highly recommended, especially the pizza, and it seems like it's a bargain.

We're regular customers, and luckily so...otherwise, it would have been the first and last time. The food was excellent, as always...but unfortunately, it didn't match what we ordered. The starter only arrived after the main courses🤷‍♂️, and the service was terrible; we would have liked another drink. Unfortunately, no one else came, and we had to shout loudly a few times for the bill before we were finally heard❗️. All in all, it wasn't a pleasant evening at your restaurant🥺. I hope they're working on this...because the guests are the be-all and end-all in a restaurant, and that's how you want to be treated. We'll definitely be back because we're used to it differently. So, with that in mind✌️, I hope they're working on this.

For my wife and me, this is the best pizza in Bremen. The pizza has a thick crust and lots of cheese. If you like crispy, thin pizza where you can see the plate underneath the salami slice, Mama Leone is not the place for you. The green sauce is great, and the prices are good and affordable. We've been going to Mama Leone for 20 years.

We were there for dinner again. The restaurant was very busy, and it was a Tuesday. We had to wait a long time for our drinks. Since we were there with children, I asked the manager. She apologized and promised the second round of drinks would be on the house, which she kept. The food was delicious again, but my soup was very salty, but it was immediately removed from the bill. Now that's what I call goodwill. Yes, the place is older and sometimes things go wrong, but nowhere else can you find such great pizzas and other dishes at this price-performance ratio. We are and will continue to be happy guests.

Best green sauce, and best pizza 🍕. You have to like the atmosphere. Inside modern, outside a bit old-fashioned and simple, but cozy. Very crowded.

The first impression isn't good. Renovations would do this restaurant a lot of good. The smell in the rooms is very unpleasant. There's no sense of well-being here. Unfortunately. The food was good, but that's not enough. A real shame.

The green sauce is legendary, the ambiance secondary. The food is good and affordable. Pizza and pasta, mussels, etc.

We ate there twice. On our first visit, I had a hair in my pizza. It was very disgusting and unappetizing. On the second visit, we ordered takeout. My mussels were packaged in an ice cream bowl (very unappetizing). Everything tasted great, but the hair and the packaging in the ice cream bowl were disgusting. We won't be ordering anything from there again for a while. 🤢😵

We were there this evening, no idea what's wrong with the place... They used to give you bread and green sauce as an appetizer to pass the time. Today we waited over an hour for our food, and then we got pizza bread with the food we ordered, which was delicious, of course, but completely wrong... Unfortunately, we're not often guests there, but we fondly remember the time when Karin, our dear former neighbor, had it in her hands... Although the food is delicious, I won't be going back to the place...

Great pizza and fantastic green sauce. We've been coming here for 40 years. The atmosphere, especially in the winter garden, is so crazy that it's almost charming.

Simply abysmal. The pizza was soaked with grease, the cheese was either imitation cheese or Gouda, definitely nothing to do with Italian pizza. The order was also incorrectly executed; we asked for ham on one half of the pizza and vegetables everywhere – it came the other way around. Never seen such an ugly interior anywhere. Plus, it took a while to get served – the three employees had enough to talk about… You absolutely can't do something like that – it's embarrassing that I keep a place like that…

Spontaneously after a bike ride. Lots of narrow spaces inside, 1 room with a smoker👎🏼. Not so comfortable. Nice service. Drinks prices are good and food is inexpensive. Had cannelloni, taste ok, a bit runny. Other spaghetti gratinated was good.

We celebrated our 70th birthday at Mama Leone's. Everything was fantastic. We've been coming here for dinner since 1979. When I order pizza, I get it just like it was in 1979, which I always look forward to. The staff is always friendly and very attentive. Anyone who knows Mama Leone knows what they're getting. Conviviality is very important there. Now the second generation is already a regular guest at Susann and her team's. We look forward to seeing you again for delicious food.

Good and authentic food and ambience. The service is also good and special requests are tried to be fulfilled promptly. Pens and sheets of paper were brought for our children to keep them busy during the short waiting time due to completion 👍 again at any time.

It's a shame that you can't turn back time because I thought it was 99% better. Ordered pizza yesterday and it wasn't the same but the green sauce was still 100%.

Wir sind letzte Woche Dienstag mit 9Personen bei Mama Leone gewesen und außer, dass alle Pizzen, Nudeln und Muscheln sehr lecker waren, bin ich besonders begeistert von der Aufmerksamkeit, mit der unsere drei Enkel vom Koch und von der Besitzerin behandelt wurden. Ganz außergewöhnlich!

We (a group of 9 people) were invited to this "restaurant". As soon as I saw the outside of the restaurant, it dawned on me what awaited us here. It seems as if nothing has been renovated here for over 30 years. The color of the former Italian paint is peeling off. The roof of the front door gave a view of the sky. A similar picture from the inside, you can hardly see through the windows. The guest rooms, kitchen, hallway - everything is dingy. So I give 0 stars for the ambience. The service was very friendly and made recommendations when asked. Unfortunately, the dishes we ordered didn't arrive at the same time for everyone. But now comes the worst: My wife and I have never eaten such bad pizza (partially). The floor was far too greasy and hard as a board. One recommendation was a green sauce, which was really delicious. Someone had also ordered mussels which I got to try, these were really well done too. This Italian is certainly long past its heyday. For regular customers who no longer have the same regard for a clean ambience, this may be OK. be. For us : Soory, but the first visit was also the last.

Mama Leone was the first pizzeria I ate in as a child in Bremen in 1979. Pizza / pizza bread / green sauce / Marsala --- these are simply classics. I have no idea how many times I ate that. I ate pizza when I was 6, and when I was 16, and when I was 26, 36, and 46. Why? Because it is simply good. For this reason. I always felt very comfortable there and that is still the case. A reminiscence of the good old days - that's Mama Leone on Stader Landstrasse. The pizzas are particularly recommended and of course the pizza bread and the green sauce (the recipe for which is an absolute state secret) - but I already mentioned that. So: Please keep it up forever, dear Mama Leone team! Thank you thank you thank you :-)

We were completely satisfied! We sat in the maritime winter garden. Price/performance ratio is absolutely right. Update: 12/2024 My regular restaurant since this year! We were there today with a small group for a birthday. The beginning was very nice, the boss gave a masala to the birthday child. About food... As a lactose intolerant person, I reached my limits a little. The boss immediately asked that she could also make all the sauces without cream since they were freshly prepared. No sooner said than done. Ordered spaghetti carbonara without cream (as it is originally made!). What I got then was really outrageous. It was pasta with egg and a little parmesan, egg completely set, like in the dish the next day, when pasta was left over and I put it in the pan again. The ham was forgotten and a plate was served with cooked ham that had been briefly tossed through the pan. When the waiter asked if everything was ok, he immediately pointed out that this was definitely not carbonara! The response was incredibly rude and said that if I could do it better, I could come during the day and show them. The boss also reacted very rudely at first, said what I had expected and briefly explained how a classic carbonara is made. Since I only took a few bites and left the restaurant hungry, she kindly let me have it. If the reaction had been different, there would be a better rating.

Unfortunately our visit was very disappointing. The service was extremely unfriendly and inattentive. The back of the chair was broken off on the seat. Our lasagna was cooking when we got it and only tasted like water. The pizzas didn't save on the base, which was completely burnt for a friend and wasn't even finished for me. They were also soaked in oil and unappetizing. Unfortunately, the food was very bad and a friend even had to throw up afterwards! Very unfortunate.

I haven't eaten so badly in a long time, this pizza was soaked in fat, a frozen base, the sauce was tasteless. The lasagna consisted of one sixth of lasagne and the remaining five sixths were poorly quenched bolognese, if you look into the kitchen you can see dirty dishes everywhere. The service didn't do anything at all. We got the wrong pizza twice and there was a hair on one pizza, it was cold in the dining area. Good food, large portions. Friendly service. In the cold season you shouldn't necessarily sit in the winter garden.

The location is in need of renovation. Especially the toilets (which are also very cold and old). But the food is very tasty and cheap. Service, very nice and friendly.

I have been a guest at this restaurant for over 40 years. The daughter of the former boss has now taken over the restaurant business. Food and drinks are still extremely tasty and extremely inexpensive. Yes, the atmosphere is rustic, partly untidy and clearly showing its age. But that's probably exactly what most guests love. Mama Leone thrives on its many regular guests, including numerous people who come to pick them up, because all the food is also well packaged to take away. The green sauce is unparalleled on this planet. And so we come to Lesum on the Weyhe, 35 km away, to eat here or to get something for home.

As always GREAT and sooooo delicious 😋 I knew MAMA Le One just a week after the restaurant opened and, apart from the beginning of the handover to the new owner, I or we were never disappointed. You're great So now to the stupid customers If you see that the store is full and you are informed that it may take longer, you have two options 1. Walk 2. Wait If you decide to wait and it still takes too long, speak to the employees FRIENDLY but let the employees in the kitchen do their work in peace and don't antagonize people, that's simply not appropriate.

I visited Mama Lione for the first time today and the visit was unfortunately very disappointing. I'm sorry to say, but our service didn't work at all. Absolutely unfriendly, inattentive and disrespectful. A card was slapped at us without a word, empty glasses were also taken away without comment, without even asking if there was anything else or anything like that. Sorry, but with employees like that, sales will be difficult. Communication is zero. We waited two hours for our food. We(!) had to politely point out to the waitress that they could at least bring us the bread. After two hours, mind you. The bread with the green sauce was at least very tasty. Later came the “Tortellini Gorgonzola”. Not very attractively served, see picture. When I read "Tortellini Gorgonzola" on the menu, I understand that it is vegetarian tortellini with Gorgonzola filling. But that may be debatable. Just to be on the safe side, I would mention the meat filling on the menu. I then ordered a vegetarian lasagne because I don't eat meat. This was prepared with meat stock (?!) and, apart from that, unfortunately for me it had nothing in common with a lasagna. It just tasted like tomato sauce that was all over the place. But you have to say that the boss tried hard. She came to the table after the tortellini misunderstanding and immediately offered to bring something new. Tortellini was then on the house. Nevertheless, all in all, unfortunately not satisfactory. Waited far too long, poor service and disappointing food. We won't be coming back.

Unfortunately, we waited over 2 hours for our food and the completely unfriendly waitress didn't bring any bread or anything to tide us over and ignored us for 2 hours. Not a fictitious number... it was exactly 2 hours. That would be okay if it wasn't a ready-made meal, but some of the dishes were ready-made products of the cheapest quality. But the atmosphere is really, really nice and the pizza port with the green pesto is really tasty. Even if it doesn't sound like it, it's worth a visit. The store also has cult status somewhere, but unfortunately today it was nothing. Unfortunately it was due to the service. The other service ladies were very friendly.

We were there for the first time today, also with a child. The service was exceptionally good! Such friendly, hardworking people!! The food was super delicious! The pizza bread is a dream. Above all, everyone is incredibly fond of children and our daughter had a super sweet “children's schnapps”. We were all very happy and would love to come back :-)

So I don't even know where to start, I'm so shocked! Antipasti didn't work at all, the Parma ham had no taste, as did the melon and the rest on the plate like artichokes, and I've never eaten bruschetta like that before, no fresh herbs on it, the only thing you could taste was garlic in the pizza dough It's just too sweet, which wasn't possible at all. Spaghetti had to be broken through before cooking. The salad as a side dish wasn't dressed. Then I ordered mussels all vino. I didn't taste the wine, but I couldn't eat the oregano until I couldn't eat it. The drinks Unfortunately, I didn't get it out either. As an Italian, I'm very disappointed. You really don't need that. Unfortunately, you have to give it one star, but I found it very difficult. It doesn't really have anything to do with Italian cuisine, but thank God my tastes are different For me it was the first and last time there. In that sense, try it yourself!!!!!!!

There were 4 of us this evening and it was very good. I found it very nice that we were greeted by shaking hands and the staff in general were all very nice and looked after us really well and even though we were only sitting on the terrace with one other group of guests, someone was always passing by came and asked if we needed anything else and if everything was okay, the service was top. We had to wait a bit for the starters and the food, but they informed us about it without asking. It was probably because a larger group was visiting and I think the fact that we were told on their own didn't really matter big problem. The food and the starters were great, there are really large portions of pasta that you can still have at home, everyone gets full and it tastes really good too. At the end there was also a schnapps on the house I can only recommend it and we will definitely come back

We've been to Mama Leone a few times. It's not a gourmet temple, but that's a good thing. If you want to eat deliciously and, above all, cheaply, you can do so there. The staff and the boss are friendly and really cute. The food is incredibly fresh and so far everything has tasted great. The furnishings are cozy. We will always come back.

Super fast, super tasty! Ordered 2 pizzas, were ready for pickup in 20 minutes, and on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. - staff was very professional and courteous.

The restaurant is very comfortably furnished and you feel very comfortable there. The food was also very good and nicely decorated. Had schnitzel with fries and pasta, plus a salad. I didn't get everything done because the schnitzel was big. A large portion that not everyone can manage, but it's very good because it's not expensive. I paid around €14 for it. The service was also very friendly, we were always asked if everything was OK and that we needed something else. They also packed me food, which I hadn't managed. The only criticism I have to give is that the woman who settled the bill at the end was unfriendly. But otherwise everyone was friendly.

Das Essen ist unglaublich gut, vor allem das Pizzabrot als Vorspeise mit der grünen Kräutersauce hat Suchtfaktor und gibt es sonst nirgendwo anders. Sehr familiäres Ambiente, klare Empfehlung 👌🏼

Sehr zu empfehlen, man fühlt sich wie zuhause in Italien. Service 5 Sterne Küche 5 Sterne Ambiente 5 Sterne Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, und wird auch von mir selbst weiterempfohlen da die 5 Sterne absolut gerechtfertigt sind. Leider sehr dreckig das Restaurant und das WC Service war nett aber ohne Plan Mehrfach mussten wir mitteilen was wir bestellt hatten und am Ende stimmte es immer noch nicht.

Hallo Suse, es ist nun nicht nötig, dass du mich förmlich ansprichst, denn vorher ging es auch ganz ohne! Bis zu dem Tag, an dem ich eine gute 3er Bewertung für dein Unternehmen abgegeben habe. Anschließend hast du mich nach vorne zum Tresen zitiert und mir befohlen eine 5er Bewertung abzugeben. Dieser Aufforderung kann ich nun wirklich nicht nachkommen, denn 3 (von 5) ist in meinen Augen eine durchaus ausreichende Punktzahl für deine Pizzeria! Denn wie auch bereits von anderen beschrieben wird schonmal schimmeliger Parmesan an den Tisch geliefert, Wartezeiten sind oft unterirdisch und deine Ausstattung ist tatsächlich sehr altertümlich. Die Toiletten sind schmuddelig und oft fehlt es an Papier! Da kann ich nun wirklich keine Empfehlung aussprechen! Und wenn du das weiter hier diskutieren möchtest, dann nur zu! Lieben Gruß Uschi!

Wir haben bisher nur Pizza, Salat und die grüne Sauce hier gegessen bzw. zur Abholung bestellt, nachdem die Betreiber gewechselt haben daher sage ich auch nur etwas dazu. Die grüne Sauce ist cremiger geworden als sie mal gewesen ist und auch im Geschmack hat sie sich etwas verändert. Genauso ist es mit dem Pizza Teig. Dieser schmeckt auch immer etwas anderes, aber auf keinen Fall schlecht. Der Belag ist weiterhin ordentlich und für den Preis alles in allen gut. Bei unserem letzten Besuch, hatten wir keine Chance etwa noch Getränke nach zu bestellen, oder den Wunsch zu äußern das wir noch zusätzliches Besteck benötigen. Bei Ausser Haus bemerkt man dann zuhause, das die Bestellung nicht korrekt gelaufen ist und irgendwas fehlt.

Super leckeres Essen. Die Einrichtung ist alt aber Zweckmäßig.

Die leckerste Pizza in Nord. Ich gucke immer wieder in die Karte aber es läuft eh jedes mal auf die Thunfisch Pizza hinaus, weil die einfach unfassbar lecker ist, Dazu Grüne Soße! Ich würde gerne etwas anderes probieren aber ich kann nicht!! Der Service ist super freundlich und schnell. Jederzeit wieder!

Trinkgelder werden nicht an die Mitarbeiter weitergeleitet, Fleischgerichte sehr Kohlehydratlastig, wenig Vitamine!

Ich war jetzt zum 2ten Mal dort und wurde nicht enttäuscht.Unsere Pizzen waren superlecker .Die Bedienung freundlich. Auch wenn das Restaurant voll besetzt war, bekamen wir unser Essen nach einer knappen halben Std. Ich komme wieder !

Ein super tolles Restaurant. Personal sehr sehr freundlich und nett. Preise top. Und für Raucher gibt es sowohl drinnen einen separaten Raum aber auch eine Art Wintergarten ist vorhanden wo man Rauchen darf. Sehr gerne wieder

Seit Jahren sind wir hier zum Essen. Es schmeckt seht lecker und wir kennen keinen Italiener wo wir lieber hingehen. Inhaber sind immer freundlich und seht bemüht. Die grüne Sosse ist für uns einmalig.

Essen und Service ist klasse, wir holen das Essen jedoch meist ab. Die Pizza Hawaii sucht ihresgleichen, mit Verlaub definitiv die Beste in Bremen. Schnitzel Milanese ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen. Grüne Soße zudem Pflicht.

Wir sind nun schon oft dort gewesen, haben sicherlich schon jeden bei uns am Tisch gehabt. Am Anfang haben wir etwas geschmunzelt weil direkt nach der ersten Servicekraft die zweite erschien und uns bedienen wollte. Alle aber total nett und höflich, könnte da niemanden hervorheben. Da ich auch nicht auf den Mund gefallen bin ergeben sich immer kleine Gespräche. Die Speisekarte sollte für jeden etwas parat haben der italienisch Essen möchte. Die Pizzen gibt es in 3 Größen, das ist gut. Und gut schmeckt auch das Essen. Die Preise liegen in einem guten Niveau, nichts wirkt überteuert. Das Ambiente könnte sicherlich einmal überdacht werden, aber wir möchten etwas essen und nicht bei "Schöner Wohnen" teilnehmen. Somit für uns kein Grund dort nicht einzukehren. Lediglich die Parksituation ist etwas eingeschränkt, gut, schräg gegenüber ist ein LIDL Parkplatz, hier ist aber ein Park-Abzock-Unternehmen tätig und wir hoffen jedesmal das die später am Abend nicht mehr aktiv sind. Alles in allem ist Mama Leone wo man gut einkehren und essen kann.

Mama leeone ist mein stammlokal seit 40 jahren.Essen ist immer top.der Service idt sehr gut Bedienungen sind freundlich hilfsbereit aufmerksam. alles war sehr gut Lob an die Wirtin.und wer an der Pizzaria Mama leone was zu meckern hat der verkehrt nur in gartenlokale.ist schon ne Frechheit was einige hier schreiben die nur 1stern abgeben.an alle leute die negativ bewerten es gibt ein Spruch Wie es im Wald rein schallt so schallt es auch wieder raus.nicht immer gleich meckern

Wir waren das erste Mal in diesem Restaurant. Eher ein schlichtes und einfaches Restaurant. Aber das Essen war super lecker. Auch der Service war uneingeschränkt freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Die Preise sind erstaunlicher Weise noch sehr moderat. Parkplätze am Restaurant gibt es keine. Wir haben gleich schräg gegenüber auf dem Parkplatz vom Supermarkt geparkt. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Wir kommen wieder.

Nicht neu, kein schickimicki... Bedienung sehr aufmerksam, entspannt, nett und sehr freundlich. Hunde sind auch willkommen und werden mit Wasser und Schinken verorgt. Preis-Leistung ist unschlagbar. Da kann man sich schon fast wie in Italien fühlen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. DANKE für den schönen runden Abend.

Geht gar nicht. Bruschetta besteht aus hartem Pizzateig so hart wie Bauernbrot Kruste. Die Pizzen waren noch schlimmer. Die Auflage qualitativ sehr schlecht. Kein Flair von Italien. Antipasti, schlechte Wäre aus dem Glas. Tut mir Leid für die Bewertung, doch so schlecht italienisch, habe ich noch nie gegessen.

Meine Bewertung geht gleich null, man hat mich nach einer normalen 3er Bewertung aufgefordert diese in 5 zu ändern und mich ansonsten des Lokals verwiesen. Gut, dann gebe ich mein Geld gerne woanders aus. Liebe Grüße, Uschi Hohage

Sehr leckere Pizza, grüne soße ist auch sehr zu empfehlen.

Die Frau Burgos die angeblich heute bei uns essen war, hat sich sicherlich vertan. Wir hatten heute nur reservierte Gäste und der Name burgos kommt uns nicht bekannt vor. Aber schade, dass man den Erfolg von Restaurants nicht gönnt. Leben und leben lassen.

Nicht zu empfehlen.....der Außenbereich ist unter aller Sau....Bretter mit Nägeln liegen da rum,alles alt und auf keinem Fall Authentisch. Lässt man essen zurück gehen weil es so schlecht war kommt der Koch mit seinem Dreckigen T shirt raus und schimpft den Gast aus. War mal gut aber jetzt???? Ekelhaft!!!!

Ich bin immer wieder begeistert. Essen war sehr gut 👍 Atmosphäre finde ich sehr schön. Komme gerne wieder 😊 !!!!

Super Lokal, sehr zu empfehlen! Nach Anmeldung bekamen wir für 7 Personen (Verwandtschaft, teils aus Süddeutschland) einen schönen Platz. Die Bedienung war superfreundlich, das Essen kam verhältnismäßig schnell und schön angerichtet. Steaks und Pizzaessen war vorzüglich und hat sehr gemundet. Wir werden bei anderen Anlässen gerne wieder hier her kommen. Gelegentlich kann natürlich auch etwas schief gehen. "Cè la vie" Aber ich verzeihe, für das was uns dafür geboten wurde.

Essen super gut....die Chefin ist sehr bemüht .....das Personal ist durchwachsen. Eine Kellnerin ist sehr kompetent, die anderen müssen noch viel lernen.
