Last night, after a long time, we spontaneously decided to visit Porcospino again. And we were delighted. Thank you for the wonderful evening and delicious culinary moments! Each dish of the three-course menu was outstanding, starting with a portion of flavorful "Spaghetti Puttanesca," followed by Saltimbocca, and concluding with Cassata...everything was absolutely delicious! The Primitivo we enjoyed with it perfectly complemented the experience. The price-performance ratio was excellent, and the portions were generous. We will definitely be back; we've already reserved a table! Many thanks to the entire team!

Like a mini-vacation in Italy. Great food and super personal service from all the staff. Would love to come back.

Yesterday, after a very long absence, we had a great table (we could talk loudly and understand each other), excellent service, always checking to make sure everything was okay, the food was excellent, very tasty and attractively presented, and the menu was excellent value for money (always available on Wednesdays). We'll definitely be coming back more often now, keep it up...

8 ravioli for €19. Spaghetti aglio e olio with prawns was completely oversalted. €24. Absolutely not worth the price. Service was nice.

We had a pleasant evening and ate well.

The antipasti was a successful start – the shrimp were particularly impressive: fresh, juicy, and with a subtle hint of charcoal grilling. The main course offered two pleasant surprises: the lamb was perfectly cooked and accompanied by a flavorful sauce that wonderfully complemented the meat. The saltimbocca was very tender and perfectly cooked. Finally, the strawberry tiramisu rounded off the meal – light, fruity, and not too sweet. Overall, a very harmonious menu with authentic flavors and good quality ingredients.

The interplay of flavors was unique! The ingredients are all of the highest quality and melt in your mouth. I've never eaten so well! The chef conjures up a poem with every dish! The food is a feast for the eyes, and it's a work of art! The service is wonderful! Everyone is very friendly, and each table is served with love and dedication. We lacked nothing; we were well looked after. The meat and vegetables were a delight with every bite and delighted our senses! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Went there recently for the second time - lunch only. In short - ridiculously small portions at rather obscene prices for the quality presented. Food was lukewarm and mediocre at best. Plus - if you are projecting to be an upscale restaurant, at least make sure your silverware is clean. Took three attempts to get a clean knife and only with a nice 'pinch' of attitude from the owner. Second time there (about two years apart) and disappointing both times. Take your money elsewhere.

Yesterday, the three of us ate at Porcuspino. I had eaten several times under the previous owner and was always very satisfied. The opposite was true with the new manager. My pasta was lukewarm. When I politely complained, the response was, "Oh, you'd prefer it warmer." (In a rude tone.) The plate was taken from my hand without apology and, after a relatively long wait, was returned to me without warning, so hot that I almost dropped it. The manager did at least apologize at the end. We had to wait a good half hour for the bill to be paid. The quality of the food was barely average. The glasses were streaked with smudges. We will never visit this restaurant again.

We ate at your place and when you see the chef smiling the food can only taste good 😇 and it did ... everything was delicious you could taste every ingredient be it the fresh herbs 🌿 spices or the oils

I ate here with friends a few days ago. I thought I'd try a new Italian restaurant. The taste was really bad, though. I'm not a picky eater, but despite the few dishes on the menu, none were good. Plus, the value for money isn't right at all. There are much better Italian restaurants in Bremen... this was our last visit.

A very nice Italian restaurant with a small but fine menu, supplemented by other daily specials. The same applies to the wine list. The service is friendly and attentive, and there's a free drink at the end. All dishes are very tasty and well prepared. However, I couldn't give it 5 stars because the price-performance ratio isn't right. The prices are high, but the portions are relatively modest. It would often be helpful to serve dishes with vegetables and a side dish, rather than presenting guests with an "either/or" choice.

The Porcospino is no longer recognizable at all. The last time we ate there was a few weeks ago and we've never experienced anything like it before. Chaotic, completely unprofessional service, loud shouting from the kitchen, the Iberico was overcooked, the pulp was tough - only the wine was okay. Our disappointment was so great that we even skipped dessert. Never again.

On Sunday evening our first visit to the restaurant for the two of us plus the dog. We were already informed on the phone that the store would be closing for a week from Monday (January 27th, 2025), so please show up at 7:30 p.m. instead of 8:30 p.m. OK. but oh well. When we arrived the place was half full, but the waiter was initially reluctant because I wanted to sit somewhere else with the dog. Waiter gave in. And again, well. The door to the kitchen was open the whole time, I don't want to see it and I certainly don't want to hear it. Waiter forgot to bring the bottle of water we ordered, we had to remind. The pasta meal we ordered came quickly, but we noticed the waiter had swapped the plates for both of us. Food quality at best average, nothing special. To be honest, the inside of the shop has the charm of a train station, the service is quite heartless for an "Italian" and also forgetful. All in all, I would advise friends against the store, I will never go there again, the store used to have a good reputation. In my opinion, this does not apply to the here and now. Too bad, it was a waste of time.

Service employees NO GO! I almost fell out of my chair when the waiter actually tried to tell me how much tip he should get! I wasn't willing to give a tip because I was absolutely not satisfied with the service, so the waiter asked me 4 times if it was right even though I kept saying no. The food, We had Vitello Tonato, fish soup, ox cheeks and tiramisu, which was excellent. In my opinion, this is a very good Italian restaurant, we haven't found a better one in the Bremen area. The tables are quite close together and when fully occupied it can be a bit uneasy. What didn't bother me personally. I've already encountered something similar in Italy. We will definitely eat there again.

One of the better Italian restaurants in town. Our favorite restaurant for several years. After the change of ownership, we feel that both the quality of the food and the service have deteriorated. Although the chef de cuisine is the current owner.

At the end of October I was here on business with six people, Friday evening without a reservation. Food was good, the dishes on the menu were completely priced, those without a menu were expensive and the portions were very small (my husband was very relieved after his small (38€) sea bass that I couldn't finish my veal cheek), the wine (rose from the... Menu at 28€/bottle) very good, ambience rather mediocre. Service rather chaotic, a colleague completely forgot the main course and no further meal was charged. Toilets borderline and with butterflies!

I'm always open and mistakes happen, that's no problem and you can talk about anything! Let's start at the beginning. I was there before my companion and we got a nice table. We were given the house recommendations and the menu. Everything was fine, I decided on á la cart, my accompaniment for the menu. Then came some bread and two dips, which were also very tasty. As a starter I got the carpaccio, which was also very tasty until I found a fly in the ruccola. That wasn't a big problem for me either, I reported the fly to the waitress and told her that I could still eat it, everything was fine, she removed the fly and everything was fine. For the main course I got the Ibirico pork with balsamic sauce, which was as tough as chewing gum, I finally decided to go back, I was asked if I wanted something else instead, I chose the veal from the menu, which my companion chose. Also in balsamic sauce. It then came without sauce. When I asked, I got the sauce, no problem either. My companion then had dessert, but I skipped it due to my allergies. A few little things that weren't too bad: the second drink order was only brought after the third reminder. There were only 2 pairs of salt/pepper shakers in the entire restaurant. After the starter, we forgot to prepare the next course. But that brings me to the real problems! Bills were being handed out around us and there was schnapps. We asked for the bill which was placed on the table without saying a word. I looked and actually just wanted to know why the meat dish now cost 32 instead of 28 on the menu. It was said because after I returned the meat, the veal was charged. I said that the only thing I had to complain about was the fly in the starter and then we started. “You’re lying, there wasn’t a fly,” I was then told. I then said, my colleague can confirm that. “No, there was no fly, you’re lying, I check everything here,” the waitress answered me. It's an outrage, a truly unbelievable outrage, to say I'm lying when I haven't made a big deal about it. I am shocked shocked shocked at being portrayed as a liar. I would like to say at this point that mistakes happen and I didn't want any bad blood, but this is the most blatant thing that has happened to me in the whole story.

I'm still completely overwhelmed - a real Italian from Napoli in the middle of Bremen. I couldn't believe it at all. With a visit to this typical Italian ristorante you can easily save yourself the long journey to Italy, as you have a little piece of Italy right on your doorstep. I can only warmly recommend this place. With this quality, not a cent is asked too much. From the Vitello Tonato to the calamari to the Tagliata di Manzo, it's simply great. We are regular guests from now on!

A great authentic Italian restaurant. The menu is not too extensive but well put together. There are also daily offers 'according to market conditions'. Absolutely recommended. Everyone in the large group was very satisfied. Even side dishes should be refilled without asking. But it wasn't necessary. Just ask for the price of the daily specials. Otherwise it could surprise some people. Boss is just arrogant, cheeky and cheeky. The rest of the staff is great and respectful. Oh dear, how can a waiter be so confused. We wanted to pay and he came to the table three times and forgot the credit card machine. And then what's awesome is that there is no option to pay by credit card in a restaurant like this in this price range. No EC card available. Apparently it's on the front door! But it is completely inconspicuous. Written by hand. Well, we got some money together but there was nothing left for tips. The waiter was even less friendly. He ends up forgetting the money. You could have taken it with you or left others at the table. He didn't even say thank you when it was brought to him after 5 minutes. He had completely forgotten about it. But as always, the food was good with a bad aftertaste at the end.

The Italian restaurant in the high-income district of Bremen is located in the residential area of ​​Schwachhausen. Yesterday we had dinner on the terrace with a couple of friends. Parking is possible either in the few parking bays in front of the door or on one of the residential streets. With the friendly, casual greeting “Dottore”, which is common in Italians, the guest is assumed to have an academic education. Placement on the terrace was problem-free thanks to reservations. Tables are very, very narrow, so service and guests are well advised to be slim. I answered the aperitif request with a request for a Negroni. It came quickly but without ice cubes. The menu offers sufficient selection and slightly higher prices. In addition to the menu, loup de mer (sea bass), turbot and cod as well as lamb and... Veal offered. The former was my wish and as a starter I shared a portion of mixed Italian starters with my wife. Starter was good - not too oily, a little under-grilled and therefore quite mild in taste, lots of choice (zucchini, peppers, eggplant, veal in tuna sauce, etc.). Portion and quality absolutely fine. Fish see photo. Arrangement is rather monastic and portions are clear. Wine list is quite small. Medium level around 30€/bottle. The rosé on the menu is recommended (even if the service regularly recommends another rosé that is not on the menu). Service was always attentive and friendly, even later. At the end there was a farewell greeting to the house. Credit card payment is not possible. In summary: Crowded, narrow and loud Italian restaurant in the slightly higher price segment with well-prepared and friendly served food for cash payers.

Maybe real Italians. But not adhering to any rules, especially not the permitted opening times. Loud until late at night and extremely aggressive when spoken to. I already mentioned that it's worth taking a look behind the scenes. This is now being prevented by visual protection. Such behavior does not necessarily indicate a different approach when preparing or warming up food.

Porcospino has definitely become my favorite restaurant! The service staff and the owner are very, very attentive and friendly. In addition, the drinks, bread and food always come quickly. If you want to eat authentic Italian food, this is the right place. The terrace with radiant heaters invites you to spend long summer evenings. Perfect all around. Thanks!

There is a star deduction for the ambience, we think 2 tables less would be appropriate. However, that won't stop you from coming back. Too loud, overpriced, tiny portions and a boss who makes humorous, loud jokes that not everyone likes. The food was very good, but we weren't full! The restaurant may stay there because it's about seeing and being seen. A matter of taste. There are better good Italian restaurants elsewhere in Bremen with a more pleasant atmosphere.

Der einzige Grund, warum hier keine 5-Sterne-Bewertung vergeben werden sollte ist, dass es so vermutlich zunehmend schwieriger wird, einen Tisch zu bekommen. Meiner Meinung nach eines der besten (und echten) italienischen Restaurants der Stadt. Vielleicht das Beste? Hervorragende Tageskarten und beste Zubereitung offensichtlich qualitativ hochwertiger Zutaten. Service und Küche wissen was zu tun ist und sind immer freundlich, angenehm und zuvorkommend. Preis und Leistung sind hier in einem angemessenen Verhältnis.

Der Chef hat höchst ungehalten bis beleidigend auf meine Nachfrage nach vegetarischen Gerichten reagiert (deren völlige Abwesenheit auf der Weihnachtskarte im 21. Jahrhundert, in einer Großstadt, schon erstaunlich ist) - auch wenn ich letztlich nicht hungrig wieder gehen musste, hat uns das (bzw. er) gehörig die Stimmung vermiest. Ich rate ab dorthin zu gehen wenn ihr vegetarisch essen wollt oder eine andere Ernährungseinschränkung habt und Wert darauf legt, dafür nicht wie ein Kunde zweiter Klasse behandelt zu werden (dafür ist es dann auch ein bisschen teuer)... Ich würde gerne glauben dass das zumindest teilweise besser ist an anderen Tagen als zu Weihnachten, aber ich werde es definitiv nicht ein zweites Mal probieren kommen

Das Porcospino ist schon eine Klasse für sich. Alles ist perfekt und der Chef ist großartig. Er ist wirklich so der Typ singender italienischer Gastronom von der allerbesten Seite. Leider waren wir zu hungrig für Bilder aber hätten wir welche gemacht, wären sie großartig gewesen. Alle Daumen hoch und danke für einen perfekten Abend.

Leckeres Essen, guter Mittagstisch 👍

Ein Abendessen mit, lange nicht gesehenen Freunden beim unbekannten Italiener kann ein kleines Abenteuer werden, vor allem das Bestellprozedere. Also 4 Menschen 4 Speisekarten les, les, grübel, grübel, der junge Kellner kommt, symbolisches taptaptap, noch keine Entscheidungsprozesse. Moment, ich hole mal den Chef. Chef kommt, ein gesetzter Herr beträchtlichen Umfangs. Er mustert die Anwesenden mit wohlwollendem Blick und meint, nach einem Moment sehr bestimmt:"Ah, weg mit Karte. Ich gebe euch als Vorspeise herrlichen Salat, aufs Haus, und anschließend esst ihr Fischplatte bombastico." Etwas sprachlos staunend mustern sich die Anwesenden, dann kollektives Lächeln und, ja, genau das machen wir wohl. Und traffen damit die beste aller Entscheidungen. Das Essen war vorzüglich, die Stimmung auch. Bombastico empfehlenswert.

Leider ein sehr mittelmäßiges Restaurant. Dies spiegelt sich sowohl im Geschmack, als auch in den Portionen wider. Da haben wir leider schon bessere Mittagstische erlebt. Zudem ist die Mittagstisch Karte nicht aktuell. Die Gerichte sind 3-5€ teurer als auf der Karte die im Restaurant ausgeteilt wird. Dies scheint wohl schon länger zu sein, da wir den Kellner darauf angesprochen haben und er nicht den Eindruck gemacht hat, als wäre es eine aktuelle Umstellung gewesen. Da ist ganz viel Luft nach oben!

Bad hospitality, not great food

First class! Jeder der was anders schreibt hat Essen gehen nicht verstanden. Und wer sich hier tatsächlich über den Service beschwert soll sich ein Brot schmieren und im Keller essen.

Inhaber alles andere als gastfreundlich. Reagiert den Gästen und Mitarbeitern gegenüber sehr überheblich und arrogant. Zeigt jedem Gast, ob er willkommen ist oder nicht. Wünsche der Gäste werden ignoriert. Gab öfter sehr frauenfeindliche Äusserungen von sich. Die Gerichte waren so gut wie gar nicht gewürzt. Preise völlig überzogen. Das Restaurant ist keinesfalls zu empfehlen.

Leider ist man hier als Gast nichts Wert, wenn man zu zweit unter 100,00€ Essen inkl. Getränken bestellt. Man wird dann auch noch von dem Inhaber vor anderen Gästen „bloß gestellt“ bzw. denunziert. Service inkl. Gastfreundlichkeit geht anders ! Absolut keine Empfehlung! Die Gambas waren mehlig, sodass auch beim Essen kein Genuss aufkam. Da geht man doch lieber ins Al Papagallo! ein paar Straßen weiter!

Bedienung war nett und freundlich, Chef ein Kotzbrocken. Spagetti Agio Olio schaf bestellt, relativ ungewürzt bekommen. Shrimps durchgebacken. Niemals wieder dieses Lokal.

Ich finde es nicht besonders respektvoll wenn man beim ersten Besuch vom Chef mit Schatzi angesprochen wird.

Gutes Essen. Nur der Wintergarten könnte etwas regenfester sein, zumindest an den Seiten. Und der alte grantige Inhaber sollte den Umgsng mit Gästen lieber den jüngeren dort überlassen. Schon seltsam dass man sich darüber wundert dass Gäste nach der Speisekarte verlangen und nicht direkt etwas zu trinken bestellen möchten. Insgesamt war er eher abweisend.

Service ist überhaupt nicht aufmerksam, Wein wird z.b. nicht nachgeschenkt Essen passt vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis überhaupt nicht! Fisch und Gemüse waren kaum gewürzt. Wer authentisch italienisches Essen und Stimmung erwartet, ist dort fehl am Platz! Vegetarier sind dort nicht gerne gesehen!

Es war wieder ein purer Genuss. Egidio hat sich voll ins Zeug gelegt, um uns 3 Paare mit italienischem Charme und bester Küche zu begeistern. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne ins Porcospino.

Meiner Meinung nach, ein kleines Stückchen Italiens in Bremen. Das Essen ist super lecker, aber auch nicht ganz günstig. Der Chef ist sehr nett und begrüßt seine Gäste gern persönlich. Die Bedienung ist sehr nett und aufmerksam, kann aber auch Mal freundlich frech sein. Besonders kann ich das Mittagsmenü, oder Business-Menü empfehlen. Dabei ist nicht nur der Preis angenehm, sondern auch ist immer alles dabei. Fisch, und Fleisch, und was Süßes. Dabei ist eine schöne Flasche Lugana zu empfehlen.

Wir hatten einen traumhaften Abend. Das Porcospino ist ein original italieniesches Ristorante, keine Trattoria oder Osteria. Also: perfekter Date-Spot, eher kein Familienrestaurant. Die Portionen sind nicht riesig, dafür perfekt zubereitet. Ja, man sitzt eher eng, aber das sorgt auch für ein tolles, lebhaftes Ambiente. Man kann hier einige Rezensionen lesen, die behaupten, das Essen sei nichts besonderes, sondern halt "nur" Italienisch. Genau das macht aber die italienische Küche aus. Qualitativ hochwertige, frische Zutaten werden zu traditionellen und saisonalen Gerichten zubereitet. Und das mit großem Erfolg. Hier wird die Entenbrust nichts zu Schaum verarbeitet, nur um eine ungewohnte Textur zu kredenzen. Man kriegt das Fleisch auf den Punkt zubereitet mit einer passenden Soße und Beilage. Das ist schlichte Eleganz, die schmeckt. Die Karte ist wohlkonzipiert: übersichtlich, aber vielfältig. Es werden Gänge-Menüs und einzelne Speisen angeboten, die beide preislich angemessen sind. Im 5-Gänge-Menü sind zum Beispiel viele Getränke enthalten, was aus der Beschreibung in der Karte zur Zeit nicht unbedingt hervorgeht. Die Mitarbeitenden sind auch ein Traum. Ein Besuch lohnt sich.

Simply italian - Bellini might have been not my favorite, but Limonchello Spritz is good. Antipasti were divine and so was tiramisu. Nice atmosphere in general, be prepared that it’s pretty loud :)

22:15 kein Einlass mehr vom Kellner. Der Laden war komplett voll, etliche Leute noch am Speisen. Uns wurde der Eintritt direkt verwährt, mit dem Hinweis, dass sie um 23h schließen würden. Nicht einmal ein Getränk oder ein kurzer Snack war möglich. Wir hatten nicht vor ein 5 Gänge zu bestellen. Dann geben wir das Geld einer anderen Lokalität 👌

Tische sehr eng gestellt, Servicekräfte müssen sich da immer durch drängeln, sehr viel Unruhe dadurch, wirkte alles ein wenig chaotisch, essen war gut, Bedienung freundlich, wenn auch etwas durcheinander. Würde nicht wieder hin gehen

Das Essen ist gut, aber nicht außergewöhnlich gut. Die Preise sind dafür dann zu teuer, zumal die Portionen recht klein sind. Preis/Leistung passt nicht. Ambiente ist nett, der Service freundlich. Leider ist der Chef recht unhöflich, wenn man kein Stammkunde ist. Das hat mich eigentlich am meisten gestört und das wird auch der Grund sein warum ich bestimmt nicht wieder komme.
