Nice atmosphere. I occasionally go there for breakfast with my dog ​​in the summer. The service is inconsistent; it varies greatly. The food is mediocre. Today I had schnitzel, croquettes, and sauce—not tasty— but it's definitely recommendable for a spontaneous get-together with moderate expectations. My girlfriend and I were freezing and left with cold feet. With a bit more heating, it would have been a cozy evening.

The food was unfortunately very disappointing. It tasted like frozen food had been reheated and served. My partner's pasta was burnt, and my lamb fillet was very salty and tasted poor.

We ate here twice within three days and were very impressed both times. The first time, we hadn't made a reservation but still got a table... we had just over an hour, and it worked out perfectly. The food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. The staff were efficient, friendly, and helpful. We really enjoyed our meal. Excellent value for money.

We went there with the family and had ice cream and coffees. Everything tasted very good, and the coffee was also very good. Our order was 30% wrong at first, but then the correct one was brought. The portions seemed smaller. The view is, of course, beautiful in good weather. We'll stop by again. The service is friendly.

This restaurant is very close to me, and I often take walks in this area. I've been there countless times as a customer and always left generous tips. On my walks, I regularly used the restaurant's restroom. I didn't realize this was a problem for the restaurant—I greeted the staff and went inside. Today, for the first time in four years, I forgot my tissue while walking. I thought it wouldn't be a problem, so I walked past the restaurant, looked inside, greeted the four young male employees, and asked if they had a napkin for me. One of the employees gave me a tissue, but another groaned and said, 'This time, just for once.' Surprised by the reaction, I asked, 'Why? We're neighbors.' They then replied, 'That's exactly why we're giving it to you; normally you have to get something to eat or drink.' I'm 35 years old and have donated plasma 40 times. Germany is the fifth country I live in. I've traveled to 25 countries. I've asked countless people for a tissue, a pen, or a stick of gum—just as I've given them to others without hesitation. This is the first time I've ever seen someone make such a fuss over a tissue. I'm truly astonished. For me, such small favors are the foundation of social peace and solidarity. Even discussing them undermines this social peace and solidarity. We live in one of the richest and safest countries in the world—and this country itself doesn't treat anyone with such pettiness. After four years as a customer at this restaurant, I was very surprised and disappointed that my small request was met with such rudeness. I'm certain I'll never enter your restaurant again. Your young male employees should be trained on how to react when something doesn't suit them. So much groaning and eye-rolling over a single tissue is completely disproportionate and inappropriate.

Excellent restaurant, good price/quality ratio and beautifully situated on the city lake and you can pay by card without any problem as a foreigner.

With their hot chocolate, they make fun of a racist crime in which Patrice Lumumba was shot.

The view is nice and the service is attentive. The drinks were satisfactory, but it's questionable why a restaurant still chooses to call a hot chocolate with rum a Lumumba, following the motto "it's always been that way."

After a walk around the lake, we stopped at Restaurant II Lago for a second breakfast. We found a seat on the lakeside terrace, and the waiter came and brought us our menus. After a short while, we ordered, and the drinks and coffee arrived quite quickly. Unfortunately, the breakfast we ordered arrived so late that the coffee was already cold. This was annoying, as a breakfast plate can be prepared relatively quickly. This should be adjusted. Otherwise, the breakfast was fine and the service friendly. We also appreciated the beautiful location by the lake. However, the restaurant is recommended.

A slight hint of arrogance hangs over the waitresses. In my case, it was the male server. I can't eat a standard portion for health reasons, so I ordered a child's portion. This wouldn't really work, the guy told me, since I wasn't a child. Well, then he doesn't earn anything from me, I told him, and so I didn't want to order anything. Well... We can make an exception. I wanted to ask him first whether his AMG needed new tires or whether he had to use them to fill up the tank. But my wife and my class called me back. How arrogant... I don't need to go there again.

Unfortunately, this was the worst pizza I've had in years. No yeast dough, it tasted more like cake. It also seems to be frozen, or at least pre-frozen. The salami pizza was a Diavolo, with the spicy salami replaced with pre-packaged salami after baking. See photos. It's acceptable for a campsite restaurant, but not if you expect something more.

Unfortunately, our visit to the Il Lago restaurant at the Stadtwaldsee was a very disappointing experience. Right from the start, the menus were carelessly placed on our table without any cutlery provided. After an hour of waiting, our food finally arrived, albeit cold and, unfortunately, tasteless. We were also particularly negatively affected by the way the staff treated us: neither friendly nor attentive. One serious incident was that there was an animal in my meal. After I reported this, the dish was cleared away without comment, without any apology, or suggestion of a solution. Instead, the bill was simply brought. This kind of treatment of guests is very unfortunate and unacceptable. A sincere apology and at least an offer to replace the dish or remove it from the bill would have been the least we could have done.

A now legendary restaurant location in Bremen. The magnificent summer terrace, which extends directly over the Stadtwaldsee lake, is unique. This is arguably one of the most beautiful waterfront locations in Bremen. The restaurant is open year-round and has a very chic interior, offering small cozy corners but also inviting family celebrations around the large table. The prices are slightly upscale, but fair. The quality and refinement of the extensive European cuisine is of a high standard. After dinner, a wonderful stroll along the lake is a great way to aid digestion. Or, if you prefer, you can also take a 1.5km walk around the lake on the best cycling and hiking trails. Parking is available in a dedicated, free lot behind a barrier. You will receive an exit coin to exit the restaurant after your visit. This location is partially accessible.

The ambiance at the Lagop Restaurant is truly beautiful and pleasant to sit in. Unfortunately, the food wasn't convincing; we didn't like the taste at all. I also found the service unprofessional in one respect: The waiter brought our drinks without a tray, simply holding them in his hand – two glasses at once. We felt very uncomfortable afterwards, and this dissatisfaction was even more pronounced, so the great location is no compensation. We wouldn't recommend it at all, except for a coffee or a beer, because you can't go wrong with that, especially since there's only one provider on the lake.

They serve gorgonzola pizza without gorgonzola and then arrive with an instant cheese sauce that tastes like nothing. They also overcharged me 11 euros "by accident." This place is a disgrace.

We were here in terrible weather, but were still able to sit outside because it offered a large shelter from the rain and a view of the Stadtwaldsee (Unisee). Actually, it's a nice restaurant. The ambiance is also very nice. My meal was very good. My girlfriend's meal was not at all. A crucial ingredient was forgotten in the casserole. A lovely place for a romantic meal, especially in the summer. I also enjoy coming here with friends. I find the casseroles and salads particularly delicious. When the weather's nice, the waterfront terrace is also open and is one of my favorite places to eat.

I got sick after eating lasagna there. It wasn't a regular lasagna either, because it tasted like they'd mixed potato herbs with cheese sauce instead of tomato sauce. A plate of salt and pepper was practically thrown on the table. They also seemed very impatient with our order, even though we Dutch don't speak fluent German. Because of this, I didn't find the atmosphere very pleasant. There were also a lot of people smoking, and it smelled awful. It wasn't terribly busy, but I still felt uneasy.

Unfortunately I have to revise my review. We used to come here regularly and enjoyed it. The service has changed since then. The menu is brought immediately and that's that. The waitress is totally unfriendly, constantly forgets you and compensates for this with an arrogant attitude. Twenty minutes between starter and main course is simply far too long, especially when the place isn't busy. I've experienced this several times now: the staff are in everyone's way and are completely unattentive. We've treated Il Lago with leniency several times now, hoping that this won't become the new norm. Unfortunately, the food there is no longer anything for us. What a shame about the beautiful view and the good impression we made.

Additionally, the cutlery trays on the terrace were covered with hats—or, more accurately, spoons were pressed directly into them. This seems unhygienic and unprofessional. Very disappointing.

The Il Lago restaurant is simply fantastic. You arrive and immediately feel at home. The terrace right on the Stadtwaldsee is particularly great; you can enjoy drinks and food here and enjoy a magnificent view. Both the staff and the chef are super friendly and attentive. The food is a well-deserved 10 out of 10. From appetizers to dessert, everything tasted incredibly delicious and looked great too. We will definitely be back. I was here for the first time yesterday and I'm never coming back. I've never tasted spoiled asparagus before, but unfortunately, I discovered it yesterday. The fish served with it was dry, and the salad was swimming in sauce. We waited in vain for the waiter to come so we could order dessert. The restaurant has a very nice location, but that's about all it has going for it.

Parking is limited, so you'll need to walk or bike if you're not staying at the campsite. The atmosphere is good, but I've been to better restaurants, which I feel I have to rate more highly to be fair. The food was good, and the selection was good. I didn't have to wait too long.

We celebrated a confirmation there with a total of 30 people. The appetizers (antipasti) were served on large platters, and we had pre-ordered the main course for each guest. Everything went perfectly. All the food was served hot and practically at the same time, and everyone enjoyed it. The very friendly staff asked for our drink requests several times, and they were delivered quickly. Bravo! One of the few restaurants open on Mondays. Friendly, hearty, and prompt service. Excellent food with that certain something; I had taglioni with porcini mushrooms and chili. Accompanied by a perfect Palatinate Riesling: Perfetto! EC card payments accepted. Great terrace overlooking the lake. Let's go! 😀

My mother celebrated her birthday in this restaurant. We had eaten there the week before and it was fine. To celebrate, I ordered a different meal than the one I ate there before. If the sow doesn't get anything to drink, the Viennese-style schnitzel can't be juicy either. To be honest, it was dry to the point where I couldn't stand it anymore. I ordered the chicken breast with fries for the celebration. You shouldn't really be able to do anything wrong. Unfortunately, some of the fries there were also cold. Making lasagna is not just making lasagna with two sheets of dough. This requires a few more sheets of dough, usually there are 4. Afterwards I knew why they added a spoon to scoop out the sauce. Because there was more of it than the lasagna sheets. To get to the point, the guests arrived and the food was on the table promptly. Here too, some of the food was cold. In other words, you didn't even have time to arrive. The service staff sometimes became increasingly angry and unfriendly and even completely annoyed. Some guests had the feeling that the place was being brought back. If 20 people, which we were, and another 15 people at the table next to us (it was another company) don't get coordination and a sensible process, you should leave the business alone and not act as a hobby restaurateur. Organize your staff so that there is no confusion. It's not enough to sit in a chic ambience with a view of the lake to run an appealing restaurant. Unfortunately, there’s a little more to it than that. I'm sorry if I can't write anything good about it, I just feel sorry for my mother who left a lot of euros for a service and food that wasn't worth the money.

The food is great, service is good. But take into consideration, they ONLY accept cash or EC cards. Do not try to pay with visa, MasterCard, or whatever else.

Ready-made meals - really the cheapest quality, tough meat, fish soaked in fat and a waiting time of over 30 minutes just for the starter. “Asparagus” on the menu means 3 individual asparagus on a huge plate. All frozen goods and really not worth the price. The service was nice, but all in all absolutely NOT RECOMMENDED!
