Mam-Mam Burger in Erlangen

I think the quality of the hamburger is also the highest in the region. The price is super fair. Funny that so many people go to the competition.

EDIT: Their beef burgers have really improved and I prefer them over the chicken burgers! Super generous with toppings and sauce and I crave it so much! The brioche bun is out of this world, it’s so soft and the skin of the bread is smooth and shiny, a lot of love went into their bread no doubt! Their home cut fries are really good, in terms of portion as well as recipe. It’s almost hollow so it’s super crispy with a little softness inside. If you like softer fries, you won’t like these. Their sweet potato fries are also good but they always serve only small portions. Onion rings are also good. Their dipping sauces are a must try as well.

Burgers that we haven't had in Erlangen before. Great variations, e.g. with blue cheese and a perfect bread roll to topping ratio. Super tasty, juicy and worth every cent. The burger buns in particular are fluffy and buttery. The side dishes, especially the Tijuana Fries, were also convincing. The branch manager was also very friendly and personable, you'll be happy to come back.

It's a shame that the branch in Bamberg no longer exists, which is why we went to Erlangen this time. Absolutely great taste, great price too, service was quick and friendly, always a pleasure.

Super tasty burgers!!! The brioche buns are awesome and the pattie tastes very juicy. I can also particularly recommend the fries with guacamole and the buttermilk chicken! The service is also great and the drinks are great ☺️

Mam-Mam attempts to prevent/remove negative reviews through legal action. I don't know what else Mam-Mam does to influence the ratings. The food used to be good there but it got worse over time. We then stopped going there.

Best burgers in Erlangen. Very tasty, good selection of toppings (finally sucuk again!), delicious side dishes, quick preparation. Service very friendly. A small selection of cocktails would be great, then you could sit there longer. Overall, highly recommended.

Edit 2024: Attempts have been made several times to have this review deleted. I think criticism is important to improve. I won't eat here anymore. Addendum: So, now tried it in times of Corona. Less sauce was used, which is a good thing. But I think the prices are a bit high: ten euro burgers are legitimate if there is either a lot of meat on them or the fries are already included in the price. Neither was the case, the fries purchased for €5 were just a handful. The quality was otherwise very good. That's why I would give it 2.5 stars. First time on site: The burger wasn't bad, I think it was actually really good, but you didn't taste much of it because way too much sauce was used. It's a shame, because then I don't need Angus.

The staff is very rude and unfriendly. I go there often and was happy with everything, but last time an employee was very rude and disrespectful. When I complained, he just said that everything was fine if I had problems with his behavior.

The new version of the crispy chicken burger is one of the bests that I have tried. It’s soooo delicious. The staff are also very nice and kind. They offered us a espresso shot on the hause. I also like the atmosphere and location!

My new favorite place for burgers in Erlangen!🍔 Yesterday I went to MamMam Burger in Erlangen for the first time and I was absolutely thrilled! The atmosphere is super relaxed and cozy, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I ate a bacon cheeseburger and was blown away - the meat was perfectly fried and lightly mashed, the bacon was crispy and the sauce was seasoned just right. With the fresh lettuce and tomatoes it really is a great burger! The fries that came with it were crispy and fresh. I was particularly pleased with the large selection of homemade sauces. The price-performance ratio is also great. I can highly recommend MAM MAM to any burger lover and will definitely be back!

Ordered food via Lieferando and was canceled impersonally and without explanation by MamMam after a 1h10m waiting time. If the acceptance of orders is so chaotic and unstructured, then hygiene will be no different.

Instead of 2 burgers when I ordered, I only got one when I ordered from Lieferando with the 2 for 1 promotion. I was told by the employee over the phone that I was unlucky. Never experienced anything like this. Attached is the invoice as proof. Incredible

We have always enjoyed eating at Mam-Mam Burger over the last few years and were mostly satisfied. Unfortunately, the grilled cheese sandwich has been off the menu for some time. This used to exist and was a very tasty veggie alternative for people who don't like Beyond Meat. So far, when we asked, we still got the grilled cheese sandwich for the price of a normal cheeseburger. Today it was said: “Unfortunately we no longer offer this because our chef has changed and it is difficult at the moment” It's just a few fried slices of cheese instead of a meat patty! For me, such inflexible behavior is incomprehensible. The burgers and fries deserve 4-5 stars but the customer service deserves 0 stars. Unfortunately we won't be going to Mam-Mam Burger anymore Addendum: Instead of responding to its customers and taking a position directly here, Mam-Mam Burger is now trying to have the Google review deleted. Very disappointing 2. Addendum (May 25, 2024) Grilled Cheese Sandwich is back on the menu, we're happy! :-)

The cheese sandwich (photo) is made with burger buns... the burgers weren't really good either. a thin piece of pseudo smash patty and 4 layers of raw lettuce. The composition wasn't really thought through. Hey service and the ambience were very good though.

Mam mam makes good burgers but the fact that you order at 9 p.m. for €90 and it is canceled at 10:15 p.m. for no reason is rude. No calls were responded to either. Honestly cheeky

Very bad! We were at the table at 6:30 p.m. until we finally got our food over an hour later at 8 p.m.! We were able to forget about our cinema tickets! Very outrageous to just make guests wait so long in a half-empty restaurant!

We spontaneously went to Mam-Mam Burger Erlangen this lunchtime. We had a cheeseburger with fries and onion rings, and a chili cheeseburger. Super delicious, everything freshly made, no frozen! The atmosphere, the food and above all the service are top. Very friendly and very fast. We would love to come back and can fully recommend this location ✌️

Good location with plenty of seating and nice service. For the high price the burger was not good enough compared to others in Erlangen, but still a fine option.

This is the second time we've been waiting at Mam Mam (and we've known the chain from Nuremberg for years). We had a lot of space (unlike other burger chains where you sit close together) and were served very quickly. The blue cheese burgers were grilled to perfection and tasted very good, the same goes for the sweet potato fries. Reasonably priced and really worth recommending. Unfortunately, the store is easy to miss.

Essen immer sehr lecker, jedoch über die letzten Monate im Vergleich zu anderen Läden eher teuer und die Portionen meines Erachtens kleiner geworden. Eine ausführliche, SEHR FAIRE Review hat man per Anwalt über Google sperren lassen. Komisch auch das auf Google fast nur gute Bewertungen zu finden sind, auf anderen Seiten schaut es da schon anders aus. Zufall??? Freie Meinungsäußerung zu blockieren, weil man nicht mit Kritik umgehen kann, bekommt von mir leider einen Stern Abzug. Sehr schade, bitte einmal selbst reflektieren!

Essen war sehr gut (Veggie Burger und country potstoes). Preise waren gerechtfertigt. Was mir nicht gefiel war dass es im Lokal sehr warm war. Ausserdem die schreckliche Musik (rap und hiphop) sehr laut. Das freilich ist Geschmscksache.

Die Burger-Patties waren angebrannt. Knusprig wie Chips am Rand. Chilly Cheese war leider sowas von überhaupt nicht „Chilly“.

Chilli Bürger bestellt zum Liefern und wurde nach über 1 1/2 Stunden nicht Geliefert, entfernun vom 1,5 Km mit dem Fahrrad 6 min . Wie kann man diese Bestellung vergessen bitteschön ? Daher gibt es eine Negativ Bewertung.

Essen war solide. Fleisch hätte etwas weniger fettig sein können. Schade, dass es keine Menüs gibt und man alles extra zahlen muss, sogar die Sauce. Preis Leistung finde ich nicht gerechtfertigt. Wer nur Ketchup mag kann sich freuen die gibt es immerhin gratis :) Bedienung war freundlich. Tische sauber. Location im Herzen von Erlangen.

Schlechtes, eingeweichtes Essen und Service ist schrecklich. Bei Lieferung ist alles noch schlimmer als vor Ort. Einfach zu McDonalds daneben oder ein Stück Baumrinde knabbern. Hauptsache man lässt sein Geld nicht hier.

Wirklich traurig die Bewertungen mittels Anwalt entfernen zu lassen. Ich hatte damals die Mail übersehen, daher keine Beschwerde eingelegt und so wurde meine ausführliche und ehrliche Bewertung (damals 2 Sterne) gelöscht. Krass wenn so mit Kritik umgegangen wird.

Nachtrag 2023: leider haben sich hier Qualität, Portionen und Preispolitik zum negativen entwickelt. Karte und Auswahl wurde immer reduzierter. Ehemals saftige Medium Black Angus Patties und Saftige Buns mit großer Portion Pommes, heute eher 0815 Burger zu hohen Preisen. Die „Smashed“ Variante hat das ganze etwas frischer gemacht aber zum Glanz von damals reicht es leider nicht. Schade das MAMMAM von damals war absolut konkurrenzlos, speziell in NBG - jetzt einer von vielen Burgerläden Ursprüngliche Bewertung: Burger und Ambiente in gewohnter Mam-Mam-Qualität... Die Patties sind absolut saftig und frisch, die Buns sind sehr weich... Service Personal nett und zuvorkommend... Die Sitzplätze außen sind optimal bei gutem Wetter... Einziges Manko, die eher eingeschränkte und teils überteuerte Getränkeauswahl, aber das machen die Burger wieder gut. Insgesamt gute Qualität bei eingeschränkter Auswahl, aber definitiv zu hochpreisig für „nur Burger essen“

Das Essen ließ wirklich zu wünschen übrig. Die Gerichte waren nicht nur geschmacklos sondern auch von minderwertiger Qualität. Es schien, als ob die Zutaten nicht frisch waren und einige meiner Gerichte waren sogar kalt!!!!🤦🏻‍♀️ Auch der Service war eine große Enttäuschung. Das Personal war desinteressiert und nicht aufmerksam!.

Herbe Enttäuschung... der Burger war soooo trocken, selbst mit viel extra Ketchup und Mayo war das einfach nur trocken: minimalst Salat, Gurke und Soße - Ende. Die Milchshakes (die es endlich wieder gibt) sind relativ ohne Geschmack. Definitiv werde ich nicht mehr wieder kommen, bei McD gibts was besseres für weniger Geld.

Vor 3-4 Jahren bin ich noch gerne Hingegangen hattest noch einen vernünftigen Burger mit einer Portion pommes bekommen heute wird an jedem Cent gespart, Das Burger Fleisch war einfach nur ein Klumpen der auseinander gefallen ist und einfach nur trocken ist bei denn Pommes hast 4 mal rein gefasst und war schon leer. Es war leider schon öfter so trotz alldem war das Personal sehr freundlich

Ich habe bei Lieferando bestellt… ohne Ankündigungen wurde meine Bestellung stoniert. Hätte ich auf meinem App nicht geschaut hätte ich den ganzen Nacht gewartet!! Vielen Dank bestelle ich nie wieder!

Ich habe bereits den Mam-Mam Burger in Nürnberg besucht, diesen Standort fand ich aber persönlich tatsächlich noch stärker. Im Herzen Erlangens bin ich zwar immer daran vorbei gelaufen, heute habe ich mich aber rein gewagt. Das Ambiente ist tatsächlich sehr stimmig. Gemütliche Sitzmöglichkeiten, schöne Bilder und gute Musik. Die Auswahl ist klein, aber fein. Kein Vegetarier wird zurückgelassen. Bestellt habe ich den Beyond Cheeseburger und die Onion Rings. Die vier Saucen waren bereits am Tisch. Die Bestellung wurde schnell aufgenommen und kam dann auch relativ zügig bei mir an. Die Saucen sind Klassiker. Der Burger war wirklich sehr lecker. Weiches Brötchen, gute hausgemachte Sauce und reichlich Salat. Überrascht war ich von den Onion Rings. Ich habe nichts erwartet, fand sie aber phänomenal. Der Kellner war nett, aber alleine. Das Essen ist etwas teurer, aber gerechtfertigt. Zusammengefasst: Mam-Mam Burger bleibt eine klare Empfehlung, ob in Nürnberg oder noch ein bisschen besser in Erlangen.

Burger und Pommes waren ganz lecker! Dennoch ist die Portionierung insgesamt stark unverhältnismäßig für 20 Euro😀 Die Süßkartoffelpommes waren sehr klein portioniert. Hierfür hat die Miniportion Joppiesoße noch nicht mal ausgereicht, welche in einer mogel-mäßigen Schale eingefüllt war. Leider anscheinend das Geschäftsmodell. Geht nicht klar. Besser nächste mal anderen Burgerladen suchen;-) 28.02 Edit Rückmeldung an Inhaber: Es geht nicht darum, auf Nachfrage eine Schippe oben drauf zu packen. Warum auf Nachfrage? Bei einer Abholung, ist nicht viel mit nachfragen. Für den Kunden sollte die Tüte Pommes Halbvoll statt halbleer sein. Die Tüte so groß und kaum 1/3 gefüllt. Soße kostet verhältnismäßig wenig. Bei diesen kleinen Dingen kann man taktisch Klug besser ein wenig zu viel, als am Ende davon viel zu wenig einpacken. Aus den Bewertungen kann man entnehmen, dass hier anscheinend mehrere Kunden der gleichen Meinung sind. Ich habe verstanden, dass Sie aus der Kritik nichts verstanden haben. Perfekt.

Solider Burger und Pommes zu Durchschnittspreis.

An sich ist es ein schöner Burger Laden, jedoch finde ich die Burger für den Preis zu klein, auch wenn sie lecker sind. Man zahlt im Grunde 12€ für einen Burger ohne Beilagen, den man in 5 Bissen gegessen hat. Die Pommes und Soßen retten das ganze noch vor den 3 Sternen.
