Very nice atmosphere, great service. But the food left a lot to be desired. The burger was red, directly raw ground meat, we complained, asked them to please return it and they gave us back the same thing we delivered. We couldn't eat it, and when we reported it, the employee's attention was fantastic, but they didn't even (even though they saw the burger uneaten) give a discount on it. We would only come back for the beer and potatoes. There are better burgers in town, or at least you won't die from eating raw ground beef.

Today again Hempels-Burger - our favorite burger restaurant. There are delicious burgers and fries here and once you've tried all the burgers, there are special burgers that change every month - sometimes vegetarian, sometimes with meat - but always delicious. In addition, the atmosphere is great and all the waitresses are super friendly. We always enjoy coming here. If I could I would give 6 stars

First of all, the service was very good. The rest is horrible. We had 2 burgers with veggi patty. This patty was inedible. It had no taste and what's more, it completely fell apart. The burger bun tasted like it was from the day before. This was also completely dry. The sauces also had no taste. Heinz mayo and ketchup would have done more. Overall, the burger didn't taste like anything, on the contrary, it tasted bad. Considering the burger cost €15.9, it was an absolute disaster. Not a recommendation, but the employee was really nice. Would like to give 0 stars.

Absolut großartig! Die Burger waren unglaublich lecker. Eine tolle Auswahl an unterschiedlichen Kreationen, sodass wirklich jeder auf seinen Geschmack kommt. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den herausragenden Service – das Personal war super freundlich, aufmerksam und hat uns wirklich jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Man hat sich rundum wohlgefühlt. Dieses Burgerrestaurant ist definitiv ein Muss für alle Burger-Liebhaber! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Perfect for small groups after work! The lemonades taste great and come in very unusual flavors :) The fries/wedges are, as usual, super tasty and crispy - just like Hempels. The selection of vegetarian and vegan burgers is also good, there are 4 of them, 2 of which are vegetarian and 2 of which are vegan (possible). My favorite burger is the Miami Rice: It's super hearty and fruity, with lots of salad and fresh ingredients. Although this one could be a little spicier, I liked it a little better with my colleagues in Nuremberg. Nevertheless, I am very happy that Erlangen has also been able to enjoy a really good burger shop :) Gladly again! PS: The monthly special burgers are a wonderful idea.

Ended up here by chance on a Tuesday evening and was pleasantly surprised. The service was friendly and humorous, absolutely accommodating. The burgers were really a dream (vegi) - super tasty and totally recommended for the special price! We will definitely come back!

Service was bottomless. It took ages to serve, one burger took 15 minutes longer than the rest. Unfriendly service was a catastrophe, permanently billed and complications. Paying took 15 minutes. Urgently needed new service force. We were served by a lady with a nose piercing. It's a shame it had more potential!!! The rest of the team is very competent.

The burgers are pretty decent, no great shakes. The bun is toasted well and it’s sauced up good. Lots of fresh veggies are also used. The wedges were delicious and crispy. The service is pretty damn good, staff is super friendly and one of them excitedly told me that his wife takes care of the orchids in the restaurant when I complimented him on it. The atmosphere is great for a get together with friends and some drinks. Definitely recommend for a group event.

The service was very friendly and accommodating. The burgers were delicious and reasonably priced. The fries were also great, plus free ketchup and mayonnaise. The coleslaw was also delicious, but it wasn't a classic coleslaw but rather a coleslaw. Unfortunately we weren't happy with dessert. The brownie was very small and dry. Plus the scoop of ice cream and a total of 6 euros was unfortunately too much for too little for us. Unfortunately, the dessert burger offered was also not worth the 6.50 euros. The drinks are reasonably priced, but the glasses are sometimes very small and therefore not full. Overall, however, we were satisfied.

Had a great evening with friends. I ate the vegan Budda Burger with vegan cheese. Absolutely recommended. Patty 10 out of 10, even if a little crumbly. Fries nice and crispy. Good selection of drinks.

It's been a long time since we've been there again, after often only ordering for home, and we were very impressed. The Tokyo Fusion was fantastic, the hamburger simple but to the point and the fries very good. There was also nothing to complain about in terms of drinks, the homemade lemonade was extremely tasty.

Delicious food and good service but unfortunately only until the payment came... I celebrated my birthday here and gave a lot of tips. We broke a full glass and still had to pay for it, which in my opinion could have been avoided. The boss said that he had booked it and specifically asked if we wanted a new drink.

The food was good. I also tried a vegetarian burger. I also enjoyed this one. The waitress always joked a little. You have to like it, but I liked it. The only drawback was that we were offered dessert, but the selection left something to be desired. There could be a little more choice here.

Unfortunately not recommended at all. You're basically sitting on your neighbor's lap, I gave up the chilli cheese fries completely after trying them once, they were simply inedible, the burger was actually okay, the cheese wasn't melted at all and it was cold but you could eat it eat. The waitress was reasonably nice, but she still wasn't interested in my complaint. Unfortunately the price performance doesn't match at all.

We had made a reservation for two people and were seated at a small table in the back gallery. Left and right in close contact with the next tables. You couldn't have a casual conversation and had to listen to the neighbors' conversations. It was very loud. The young waiter was extremely friendly and attentive. The citizens (BBQ and goat) tasted mediocre. Everything about the BBQ burger tasted like the sauce, only a slight onion flavor came through. The price-performance ratio doesn't fit.

Great burger place, definitely recommended! We became aware of it through Google reviews and it was conveniently located for our long weekend stay, so we decided to go there on the spur of the moment. Despite it being a Friday evening it was possible to get a nice table for two. Our little, well-behaved beagle dog wasn't a problem either. Good selection of burgers, including vegetarian versions. Overall, everything tasted very good, especially the (relatively) local beer recommendation! Very nice operation, very good service! Fair price-performance ratio!

No recommendation !!! Went to the store today based on a recommendation. At first we had a very good feeling, but unfortunately this changed very quickly. When my buger arrived it smelled a bit strange...when I bit into it I realized that my patty wasn't cooked through. After I told the waitress I was told that a patty had to be medium rare. At this point it was definitely not medium but almost raw!! When it was fried in the kitchen, not much changed. The minced meat was gray and very tough like rubber. Now I have a stomach ache...The cocktails were also very bland. Overpriced for the poor performance. Doesn't even deserve one star, I strongly advise against it.

We were regular customers as a larger group of friends for years and really appreciated the vegan selection and patties. Unfortunately, these were completely deleted and replaced by an unsightly, not particularly tasty alternative. We won't come again in the future. It's a shame that the staff themselves are of the same opinion, but the manager is probably deaf to this ear...

At Hempels Burger you get your money's worth for a burger fan! We had a cheeseburger XXL. Great meat combined with fresh ingredients. A pleasure.

If the burgers had been half the price, it would have been acceptable. My burger was red and hard. Don't go here if you like good mashed burgers.

I'm sorry, but I didn't like the burger I had at all. The bun was dry and sticky, the salad wasn't crunchy and I haven't had the red cabbage on a burger either. My knife was blunt, so cutting didn't go smoothly. The fries were very good.

On Thursday, January 18th I went with my sister and my husband to dinner at Hempels Burger Erlangen. I had been there twice before and the service was very well, but that day it wasn’t the case. My sister has lived in Berlin for 13 years and she was visiting Erlangen for that week. In the afternoon, she called to the restaurant to ask until what time the kitchen was open. The person at the telephone replied that until 11pm. We meet at the restaurant at 9:50pm, but when we were entering, the waitress (young, blonde hair, medium height) tells me in English that the kitchen closes at 10pm. I told her that we had called in the afternoon and that we knew that the kitchen closed at 11pm. She tells me very rude that “I don't know who you talked to, but the kitchen closes in 10 minutes more”. Then, my sister –who speaks German very well– asked her about the same situation and the waitress answered everything in English. My sister asked other questions again in German, but the waitress kept answering in English in a very hostile and rude way. Regardless, if the kitchen was soon to close, it seems to me this situation was a huge lack of respect for us as Chileans, but above all for my sister, a Chilean woman who has lived in Germany for 13 years and who has integrated very well with his family in Berlin. Do we need to speak perfect German to understand each other? I have been in German classes for five months and I do my best daily to be able to communicate with people in the correct language. However, my sister who has been around for much longer and she has studied German and she works as a very good health professional, didn't deserve for any reason that kind of ill treatment from the waitress. This lack of kindness is a clear example of discrimination that cannot be allowed under any circumstances. I still believe that we must move towards a global society with respect, love and above all kindness. There are many of us migrants who are good people. It was all very unfortunate situation, and I really hope it doesn't happen to anyone else. After all this, I am not pretty sure if I come back to Hempels.

Getränke: Große Auswahl an verschiedenen hausgemachten Limonaden mit interessanten Geschmackskombinationen. Ich bin eigentlich kein Pfirsicheistee Fan, aber zu einem selbstgemachten sage ich nicht nein und das war auch gut so denn der Eistee war wirklich gut. Natürlich, erfrischend und nicht zu süß. Leider hat mich die Lilalimo nicht so sehr gecatched. An sich klang Lavendel Geschmack wirklich aufregend, jedoch fiel dieser derart dezent aus, dass ich, ohne im Vorfeld zu wissen was ich da trinke, nicht darauf gekommen wäre. Der hätte für mich durchaus ein wenig stärker sein dürfen. Essen: Ich hatte einen BBQ Burger und die Chilli-Cheese Fries. Die Burger sind mit 180 g Fleisch wirklich reichlich und definitiv nicht mehr in der Hand essbar, was vollkommen oke ist. Die Briochbrötchen waren beidseitig angeröstet, das Fleisch war hervorragend gewürzt und die Soßenmenge war gut gewählt. Das Burgerpatty selbst war außen am Rand sehr saftig, einfach hervorragend. Leider war es in der Mitte schon etwas zu durch. Immernoch lecker, aber wenn die ersten drei bissen hervorragend saftig sind dann merkt man den Kontrast leider schon. Ich nehme an das Patty hat sich in der heißen Pfanne zusammen gezogen, war also leicht gewölbt und hatte dadurch keinen gleichmäßigen Kontakt zur Heizfläche. Passiert mal. Die Chilli-Cheese Fries wurden auf meinen Wunsch hin getrennt vom Chilli-con-Carne serviert, da ich kein Fan davon bin dass meine Pommes durchweichen während ich noch am Burgeressen bin. Die Fries waren sehr Knusprig außen und saftig cremig innen, wie man sich das eben von guten Pommes wünscht. Das Chilli-con-Carne war Pikant, aber nicht zu scharf und sehr lecker. Der Service: Super freundlich und Aufmerksam, keinerlei Beschwerden oder Mängel hier. Das Menü hat mir auchgefallen, es gibt wechselnde Specials. Insgesamt sehr leckeres Essen und Trinken, ein wenig teurer als andere Burgerläden in der Gegend, ABER ZURECHT! Die investition Lohnt sich und ich werde definitiv wieder kommen. Sehr zu empfehlen!
