Hamburgers are delicious! The staff and attention are very pleasant

The service was very friendly and competent. The dishes outside the normal menu were also very well presented. The ambience is simple but very nice and invites you to linger. The burgers, also vegan, were very tasty.

Service was bottomless. It took ages to serve, one burger took 15 minutes longer than the rest. Unfriendly service was a catastrophe, permanently billed and complications. Paying took 15 minutes. Urgently needed new service force. We were served by a lady with a nose piercing. It's a shame it had more potential!!! The rest of the team is very competent.

The burgers are pretty decent, no great shakes. The bun is toasted well and it’s sauced up good. Lots of fresh veggies are also used. The wedges were delicious and crispy. The service is pretty damn good, staff is super friendly and one of them excitedly told me that his wife takes care of the orchids in the restaurant when I complimented him on it. The atmosphere is great for a get together with friends and some drinks. Definitely recommend for a group event.

The service was very friendly and accommodating. The burgers were delicious and reasonably priced. The fries were also great, plus free ketchup and mayonnaise. The coleslaw was also delicious, but it wasn't a classic coleslaw but rather a coleslaw. Unfortunately we weren't happy with dessert. The brownie was very small and dry. Plus the scoop of ice cream and a total of 6 euros was unfortunately too much for too little for us. Unfortunately, the dessert burger offered was also not worth the 6.50 euros. The drinks are reasonably priced, but the glasses are sometimes very small and therefore not full. Overall, however, we were satisfied.

Had a great evening with friends. I ate the vegan Budda Burger with vegan cheese. Absolutely recommended. Patty 10 out of 10, even if a little crumbly. Fries nice and crispy. Good selection of drinks.

It's been a long time since we've been there again, after often only ordering for home, and we were very impressed. The Tokyo Fusion was fantastic, the hamburger simple but to the point and the fries very good. There was also nothing to complain about in terms of drinks, the homemade lemonade was extremely tasty.

I can recommend it to anyone who likes good burgers with a good price-performance ratio. In addition to the large selection of not only food but also drinks, the restaurant is very hygienic and has a good ambience. Overall, it is the perfect choice for a pleasant evening.

Delicious food and good service but unfortunately only until the payment came... I celebrated my birthday here and gave a lot of tips. We broke a full glass and still had to pay for it, which in my opinion could have been avoided. The boss said that he had booked it and specifically asked if we wanted a new drink.

The food was good. I also tried a vegetarian burger. I also enjoyed this one. The waitress always joked a little. You have to like it, but I liked it. The only drawback was that we were offered dessert, but the selection left something to be desired. There could be a little more choice here.

Unfortunately not recommended at all. You're basically sitting on your neighbor's lap, I gave up the chilli cheese fries completely after trying them once, they were simply inedible, the burger was actually okay, the cheese wasn't melted at all and it was cold but you could eat it eat. The waitress was reasonably nice, but she still wasn't interested in my complaint. Unfortunately the price performance doesn't match at all.

We had made a reservation for two people and were seated at a small table in the back gallery. Left and right in close contact with the next tables. You couldn't have a casual conversation and had to listen to the neighbors' conversations. It was very loud. The young waiter was extremely friendly and attentive. The citizens (BBQ and goat) tasted mediocre. Everything about the BBQ burger tasted like the sauce, only a slight onion flavor came through. The price-performance ratio doesn't fit.

Great burger place, definitely recommended! We became aware of it through Google reviews and it was conveniently located for our long weekend stay, so we decided to go there on the spur of the moment. Despite it being a Friday evening it was possible to get a nice table for two. Our little, well-behaved beagle dog wasn't a problem either. Good selection of burgers, including vegetarian versions. Overall, everything tasted very good, especially the (relatively) local beer recommendation! Very nice operation, very good service! Fair price-performance ratio!

No recommendation !!! Went to the store today based on a recommendation. At first we had a very good feeling, but unfortunately this changed very quickly. When my buger arrived it smelled a bit strange...when I bit into it I realized that my patty wasn't cooked through. After I told the waitress I was told that a patty had to be medium rare. At this point it was definitely not medium but almost raw!! When it was fried in the kitchen, not much changed. The minced meat was gray and very tough like rubber. Now I have a stomach ache...The cocktails were also very bland. Overpriced for the poor performance. Doesn't even deserve one star, I strongly advise against it.

We were regular customers as a larger group of friends for years and really appreciated the vegan selection and patties. Unfortunately, these were completely deleted and replaced by an unsightly, not particularly tasty alternative. We won't come again in the future. It's a shame that the staff themselves are of the same opinion, but the manager is probably deaf to this ear...

At Hempels Burger you get your money's worth for a burger fan! We had a cheeseburger XXL. Great meat combined with fresh ingredients. A pleasure.

I'm sorry, but I didn't like the burger I had at all. The bun was dry and sticky, the salad wasn't crunchy and I haven't had the red cabbage on a burger either. My knife was blunt, so cutting didn't go smoothly. The fries were very good.

If the burgers had been half the price, it would have been acceptable. My burger was red and hard. Don't go here if you like good mashed burgers.

On Thursday, January 18th I went with my sister and my husband to dinner at Hempels Burger Erlangen. I had been there twice before and the service was very well, but that day it wasn’t the case. My sister has lived in Berlin for 13 years and she was visiting Erlangen for that week. In the afternoon, she called to the restaurant to ask until what time the kitchen was open. The person at the telephone replied that until 11pm. We meet at the restaurant at 9:50pm, but when we were entering, the waitress (young, blonde hair, medium height) tells me in English that the kitchen closes at 10pm. I told her that we had called in the afternoon and that we knew that the kitchen closed at 11pm. She tells me very rude that “I don't know who you talked to, but the kitchen closes in 10 minutes more”. Then, my sister –who speaks German very well– asked her about the same situation and the waitress answered everything in English. My sister asked other questions again in German, but the waitress kept answering in English in a very hostile and rude way. Regardless, if the kitchen was soon to close, it seems to me this situation was a huge lack of respect for us as Chileans, but above all for my sister, a Chilean woman who has lived in Germany for 13 years and who has integrated very well with his family in Berlin. Do we need to speak perfect German to understand each other? I have been in German classes for five months and I do my best daily to be able to communicate with people in the correct language. However, my sister who has been around for much longer and she has studied German and she works as a very good health professional, didn't deserve for any reason that kind of ill treatment from the waitress. This lack of kindness is a clear example of discrimination that cannot be allowed under any circumstances. I still believe that we must move towards a global society with respect, love and above all kindness. There are many of us migrants who are good people. It was all very unfortunate situation, and I really hope it doesn't happen to anyone else. After all this, I am not pretty sure if I come back to Hempels.

Getränke: Große Auswahl an verschiedenen hausgemachten Limonaden mit interessanten Geschmackskombinationen. Ich bin eigentlich kein Pfirsicheistee Fan, aber zu einem selbstgemachten sage ich nicht nein und das war auch gut so denn der Eistee war wirklich gut. Natürlich, erfrischend und nicht zu süß. Leider hat mich die Lilalimo nicht so sehr gecatched. An sich klang Lavendel Geschmack wirklich aufregend, jedoch fiel dieser derart dezent aus, dass ich, ohne im Vorfeld zu wissen was ich da trinke, nicht darauf gekommen wäre. Der hätte für mich durchaus ein wenig stärker sein dürfen. Essen: Ich hatte einen BBQ Burger und die Chilli-Cheese Fries. Die Burger sind mit 180 g Fleisch wirklich reichlich und definitiv nicht mehr in der Hand essbar, was vollkommen oke ist. Die Briochbrötchen waren beidseitig angeröstet, das Fleisch war hervorragend gewürzt und die Soßenmenge war gut gewählt. Das Burgerpatty selbst war außen am Rand sehr saftig, einfach hervorragend. Leider war es in der Mitte schon etwas zu durch. Immernoch lecker, aber wenn die ersten drei bissen hervorragend saftig sind dann merkt man den Kontrast leider schon. Ich nehme an das Patty hat sich in der heißen Pfanne zusammen gezogen, war also leicht gewölbt und hatte dadurch keinen gleichmäßigen Kontakt zur Heizfläche. Passiert mal. Die Chilli-Cheese Fries wurden auf meinen Wunsch hin getrennt vom Chilli-con-Carne serviert, da ich kein Fan davon bin dass meine Pommes durchweichen während ich noch am Burgeressen bin. Die Fries waren sehr Knusprig außen und saftig cremig innen, wie man sich das eben von guten Pommes wünscht. Das Chilli-con-Carne war Pikant, aber nicht zu scharf und sehr lecker. Der Service: Super freundlich und Aufmerksam, keinerlei Beschwerden oder Mängel hier. Das Menü hat mir auchgefallen, es gibt wechselnde Specials. Insgesamt sehr leckeres Essen und Trinken, ein wenig teurer als andere Burgerläden in der Gegend, ABER ZURECHT! Die investition Lohnt sich und ich werde definitiv wieder kommen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Die Burger sind gut, aber relativ teuer. Die Portionen sind so groß, dass man nicht unbedingt eine Beilage braucht. Die Einrichtung ist ansprechend und der Service war in Ordnung.

Alles zur vollsten Zufriedenheit, super Kellner und immer dran denken bei Hempels gibt es keine kleinen Portionen ;)

Wir waren jetzt schon das zweite mal hier und es war wieder mal super lecker und ein rund um toller Abend. Der Service ist super freundlich, zuvorkommend und sehr kundenorientiert. Extrawünsche wurden im vollsten Maß umgesetzt und stellten gar kein Problem dar. Der frisch zubereitete Burger war saftig und genau so wie ein Burger sein sollte. Da hier viele geschrieben haben es wäre eine kostspielige Angelegenheit kann ich nur daran erinnern, dass Qualität seinen Preis hat und es somit überhaupt NICHT zu teuer oder übertrieben ist! Service sowie Essen eine glatte 1. Übrigens ist der Dessertburger auch wirklich einen Versuch wert. Danke für den tollen Abend und bis bald ❤️

Wir haben uns in der Mittagspause alle einen Burger gegönnt und waren uns vom Vegetarier bis zum extravagante Burger Besteller alle einig: war sehr lecker. Das einzige Teammitglied was wir zu Gesicht bekommen haben war sehr freundlich flott und aufmerksam.

De sfeer aan de drukke straat vind ik niks en er word nog altijd gerookt op het terras. Het vlees en de chilli cheese patat was geweldig. Ik vind zelf de broodjes en beetje droog en een grote hap. Meestal laat ik dan daarvan de helft liggen.

Service war super nett. Hat mich von dem Oktober Burger überzeugt und es war kein Fehler. Ich bewerte hier nur den Okt. BURGER da ich sonst nicht in der gegend bin. Aber dieser Burger wäre schon ein Besuch wert. Der OktoberBurger war sehr lecker.

Wir hatten uns an diesem Abend entschieden ein Burger-Lokal aufzusuchen, unsere Wahl fiel auf Hempels Burger aufgrund der guten Bewertungen. Auch kann man bei der Namensgebung erwarten, dass die Burger hier eine Spezialität sind. Weit gefehlt, entweder war der Koch an dem Tag krank oder es lag am Vollmond, wir waren jedenfalls mehr als enttäuscht. Ihr bekommt euren Platz zugewiesen, das Lokal ist modern eingerichtet. Die Speisekarte wurde uns kurze Zeit später übergeben mit einer Empfehlung des Tages. Dann hieß es erst einmal warten. Im Lokal waren 4 Beschäftigte zu sehen und das Lokal war nicht voll. Aber wir warteten 15 Minuten bis unsere Bestellung aufgenommen wurde. Dann hieß es weitere 15 Minuten warten, bus die Getränke kamen. Positiv hervorzuheben, das Bier ist von einer kleinen Brauerei aus der Umgebung (laut meinem Mann nicht das dollste, aber das ist Geschmackssache). Ich habe eine Apfelsaftschorle genommen, die eher als Wasser mit einem Schuss Apfelsaft bezeichnet werden darf (bei einem Mischverhältnis 90 Prozent Wasser und 10 Prozent Apfelsaft kein Wunder - ich sah die Zusammensetzung direkt hinter der Theke). Die Auswahl der Burger eher minimal, was prinzipiell nicht negativ ist wenn sie denn schmecken. Ich hatte den normalen Hamburger und mein Mann den BBQ Burger. Die Brötchen waren prinzipiell erst einmal gut, aber kalt. Das Fleisch war nur noch lauwarm, ich darf behaupten das der Hamburger nicht frisch zubereitet wurde, sondern das Fleisch unter einer Wärmelampe auf seine Zubereitung wartete. Minimale Sauce, der Hamburger hat nach nichts geschmeckt. Mein Mann meinte, beim BBQ Burger war der einzige Geschmack durch den Speck vorhanden, seine Begeisterung hielt sich in Grenzen. Preislich liegen die Burger im üblichen Rahmen eines Burger Lokal. Da ich in diesem Jahr in einem anderen Burger Lokal kn Erlangen essen war, kann ich perfekt den Vergleich nehmen. Die Bedienung war freundlich. Zusammengefasst: Minimale Leistung für maximalen Gewinn. Absolut nicht empfehlenswert!

Ich hatte heute den vegetarischen September-Spezialburger mit Rosmarin-Kartoffel-Patty. Himmel, war der lecker! Und crispy! Ich habe mich spontan für den vegetarischen Burger entschieden, und es war absolut die richtige Wahl. Zur Mittagspause nicht überlaufen, das Essen kam pausentauglich ruck-zuck. Ambiente ist ganz nett, ein bisschen dunkel, aber Geschmackssache. Wirkt abends vielleicht besser. Prompter und netter Service. Würde am liebsten morgen gleich wieder kommen 😉.

Geschmack OK Gut. Preis/Leistung eher teuer, denn für den Preis erwarte ich Pommes dabei. Trotzdem das Fleisch war nach meinem Geschmack zu fest gepresst mit harter Kruste. Für mich sollte ein guter Burgerpatty eher locker und saftiger sein. Das Ketchup war ein Art von selbstgemachte Soße mit einem recht speziellen Geschmack (Richtung Curry). Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Reservierung empfehlenswert.

Von außen ist's nicht zu erahnen, was für ein modernes und spannendes Burger Restaurant sich hier verbirgt. Ich war aufgrund einer Empfehlung hier und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Ein paar Späße und persönlich Empfehlungen der Bedienung, lockern die Stimmung und macht das ganze zum Erlebnis. Alle unsere Burger waren sehr lecker, saftig und gut abgestimmt. Auch die Pommes sind zu empfehlen. Die selbstgemachten Eistee's kann ich auch empfehlen. Alles in Allem ein gelungener Abend mit leckerem Essen und Trinken. Beim Ambiente gibt's einen Punkt Abzug, da ich persönlich das Gefühl hatte,dass die Sitzhöhe der Bank nicht zum Tisch gepasst hat. Überzeugt euch selbst von Hempels Burger und lasst es euch schmecken. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder.
