Pleasant experience. Cozy interior, great food and lovely people running it. Will come visit again for sure.

Staff were friendly and patient, music is inoffensive pop, the food is very tasty with a good selection of ingredients and a fair portion size. I recommend the salmon.

Very tasty bowls and friendly service

I ended up here looking for something new and gluten-free. The staff couldn't give me precise information about the allergens, but they referred me to the allergen list. Every dish and every single ingredient is listed here. You can even see the nutritional values. I had the Peanutlover Bowl because it was (like most) gluten-free. Was good. Something spicy. The only thing I didn't like was the green seaweed (or whatever). But the smoothie was even better!

I've only been there twice, but unfortunately I can't recommend it this time. I went into the store and the waitress got up immediately, but when I looked at the menu for a few minutes he answered messages on his cell phone. Fair enough, but I actually waited a minute with my eyes raised for him to finish his message while typing wildly. A little unfriendly. Unfortunately, the fact that you only get answers in English is a common problem in Berlin. Nothing big, it can happen, the waitress probably had a bad day. What I think is much worse is that the food really wasn't tasty at all :( somehow everything seemed a bit "unfresh". The sauce was also terrible. I thought maybe I'd eat it the next day, but unfortunately I had to throw it in the trash can, that's all than half of this very expensive bowl. This branch really has a quality problem. Can't recommend it.

The store looks really chic and interesting from the outside. Unfortunately the bowl there was really not good. I ordered 2 different bowls and both had the feeling that the food was older. Unfortunately it didn't taste good at all and I personally wouldn't recommend it or try it again.

We wanted to eat there because we knew it from Hanover and it was always very tasty. Unfortunately, upon entering we ran into a wall of stench. When I asked the employee about it, she said she didn't know where it came from either. Unfortunately, while we were waiting, we saw too many flies sitting on the ingredients, so we lost our appetite and only paid for the drinks. I pointed out to the employee that we didn't want to order any more because of the flies and she just said that was normal. Apparently the connection between food and hygiene is not yet understood here. 🤢

The store has a terrible smell. It smells extremely bad in the basement near the sinks. There are big flies on the food. The edamame says shriveled and the guacamole is grayish. We left the store after the employee said it was normal. Actually, I only know MAOLA well. However, there is something wrong here.

Very tasty and healthy bowls with fresh ingredients. Perfect for anyone looking for a healthy alternative between all the fast food. I love the shop because it offers fresh ingredients and allows you to create your own bowl. This store also offers a calm and relaxed atmosphere. I think this is very important if you want to eat in peace and not among crowds of people. My recommendation is definitely there for anyone who is willing to spend a little money because it is a little cheaper. In my opinion, you shouldn't save money on food, it's definitely the wrong place to save money.

would love to review the quality, but they wouldn’t serve us when we asked, claiming they were closed. it was 8:30 and the place closes at 9. feels like a pretty big time frame for closing.

For a Poke Bowl 🥣 chain the quality is very good.. I had the Hawai Spezial Tuna bowl for Euro 15 and a soft drink for Euro 3.50.. the service was pragmatic and helpful.. the ambience in the restaurant is functional.. the Outside area is limited at all restaurants on Kantstrasse. Price performance was good!

Unfortunately it happened more than once that one of the ingredients were spoiled :(

I went here a few days ago, the food was good, I got a volcano chicken bowl! I highly recommend. The service was so unprofessional, the man that served me was super rude and unfriendly. But I love the restaurant nonetheless.

Very tasty food, as always at MALOA. It would be nice if there were more vegan meat options (like vegan fish). But the vegan chicken is also incredibly tasty. And you can sit outside in the sun here, great too!

The bowls can be put together yourself and are freshly prepared and taste delicious. Unfortunately there are no beluga lentils as a base. The shop seems a bit bare and uncomfortable.

I ordered a poke bowl from Ma’loa via the Wolt app. Unfortunately the messenger didn't make it to me unscathed. I called the restaurant. I was told I could come over soon and put together a replacement bowl. And I also brought up the idea that perhaps in the future we could make a tab about the packaging in order to protect the food as best as possible for transport. And yes, I went there a week later. I was given a very warm welcome by two employees and they actually remembered the little accident. I was allowed to put together a bowl as I wanted and, to my great surprise, the idea with the tab was implemented. The employees were very sensitive and prepared my poke bowl really quickly. I was also allowed to choose one drink on the house. I'm really positively speechless about the customer service and the food tasted really good too. Thank you very much💐😃

A friend and I went there for a bowl today. I had the Peanut Lover Bowl (really delicious) and my girlfriend had the Vulcano Bowl (really tasty), both were slightly spicy. The ambience was great with swings by the window for 2 people. You felt very comfortable there, great music and atmosphere. Definitely coming back.

I was in the store at 8:33 p.m. and it said "sorry we are closed" even though you're open until 9 p.m. After I asked that you were open until 9 p.m., the answer came: I'm alone, otherwise I won't be able to do it. Then you don't stay open until 9 p.m., but 8:30 p.m....

I was here once, and the food was bad. Afterwards I was feeling sick….

I love Poké Bowls, especially with a Hawaiian feel where you can enjoy your dish on the swing. Great atmosphere!!!

Had the salmon poke bowl. The food was really delicious as i was craving for weeks. The portion is a lot and you had the option to mix and match whatever you want. it is a bit pricey, though what do you expect going to a seafood restaurant in berlin

Bowl didn't taste good, but it was expensive. Mochi ice cream is still cold after ten minutes and the staff is unmotivated - you can also see it in the dirty tables and the lack of hygiene products in the toilets. But the waitress behind the counter can look at her cell phone for minutes. Never again!

They offered a meal online which they actually do not serve anymore. Instead of getting my money back, I got a voucher. UPDATE: The voucher was just valid for 1 day LOL

Ich habe bei MA'LOA über wolt bestellt und bin richtig schockiert. Die Bowls zu diesem ja doch sehr stolzen Preis waren mini klein, es waren kaum Zutaten darin. Wir hatten die Sesam Me Tofu Bowl mit Zucchini"nudeln" und die Salmon Bowl. Erst mal fand ich es enttäuschend, dass die Bowls komplett kalt waren, darüber kann man ja noch hinwegsehen - aber die Menge war ein Witz und geschmacklich war die Bowl unterdurchschnittlich. Der größte Witz aber waren die "Zucchininudeln", die einfach nur Gemüseraspeln waren?! Mit Nudeln hat das nichts zu tun.. die Salmon Bowl hatte etwa 3 Stückchen Lachs drin, nicht weiter schlimm, denn der hat tatsächlich so alt und merkwürdig geschmeckt, dass wir die 3 Stückchen auch nicht gegessen haben. Nach diesem Erlebnis habe ich den Wolt Support kontaktiert, die Kontakt mit dem Restaurant aufnehmen wollten. Die haben sich aber einfach nicht zurückgemeldet. Cool! Also: Finger weg von MA'LOA, es gibt viele gute Alternativen.

Cooles Konzept. Bowl Größen variieren aber immer sehr extrem wer grade alles zusammenstellt hinter der Theke. Verhältnismäßig teuer…

Sehr warm im Laden und gute Auswahl an Bowls. Auch wenn man die vorgefertigten nicht mag, kann man sich immer noch was zusammenstellen. Die Angebote und Empfehlungen sind auch gut vom Preis, so ne Bowl kann schnell teuer werden, die Preise find ich schon sehr happig. Es geht hier nur EC oder Kreditkartenzahlung. Bar wird nicht genommen. Das Restaurant hat draußen und drinnen Plätze und unter der Woche geht es auch vom Andrang. Wir waren gegen 17:30 Uhr da und es war leer.

Am 14.08 habe ich über Uber Eats eine Bowl mit Lachs bestellt. Seitdem liege ich flach mit Magen Darm Problemen. Nicht empfehlenswert!

Ordered a salmon poke bowl with added avocado through Uber eats. Got stomach pain a few hours later and a bit more than a day later i was infected with Salmonella and out for a week, will not order from this place again

Ich mag MALOA eigt. Meistens sind die Bedienungen nett, obwohl ich nicht glaube, dass sie gelernte Servicekräfte sind. Die Tische könnten öfter abgewischt werden und ich finde diese Schaukelsitze super unbequem, aber Geschmackssache. Sehr toll ist, dass es schnelles gutes veganes Essen gibt, was mich aber sehr sehr dolle stört, ist, dass oft Fliegen auf dem Gemüse sitzen. Könnte man* da nicht eine Klappe anbringen, sodass das nicht mehr passiert? Das ist halt unangenehm unhygienisch und lässt einem den Appetit vergehen. Deshalb leider auch nur die zwei Sterne, ansonsten mag ich es dort halt gerne, aber jetzt im Sommer ist das echt nicht toll und eigt ein so leicht zu lösendes Problem. Für so etwas ist das Essen auch einfach zu teuer..

Super nettes Personal, super leckere Bowls und dann machen die noch echt satt. Ein Träumchen!

An sich, super! Aber Vorsicht! Am Sonntag Vormittag bestellt und kurz nachdem der Bezahlbutton erschien, hieß es, dass das Restaurant noch nicht geöffnet ist und erst in 45 Minuten öffnet! Ärgerlich! Dafür einen Stern weniger.

Die Damen sind super nett, helfen und beraten. Es schmeck sehr gut. Ich würde immer wieder da essen, deshalb 5 Sterne ganz klar.

Nette Bedienung und die Bowls machen echt satt. Man kann auch zu standards bowls extras hinzufügen. Der Preis ist voll ok, ich war selten so satt. Werde ganz bestimmt öfter hin gehen.

sehr unhygienisch, es gab überall Fliegen und Insekten. Keine Klimaanlagen, das Essen war eklig und die Angestellten waren sehr langsam und könnten nicht mal mit der Kasse umgehen

Es ist sehr lecker hier, aber sehr schmutzig. Es gibt schmutzige Tische, keine Servietten und Antiseptika. Es gibt nie Seife in der Toilette, volle Mülleimer, es riecht unangenehm. Das Essen ist lecker, aber ich kann nie Avocado essen, weil sie schwarz ist.

habe eine açaí bowl bestellt - ist absolut nicht empfehlenswert. es gibt nur 3 toppings bei denen entweder gespart wird oder viel zu viel wasser dazugegeben wird (bei den eingelegten mango stücken). die açaí masse schmeckt nach nichts, vielleicht liegt es an der mandel milch?? ist auf jeden fall KEIN guter ort eine açaí bowl zu bestellen… schade für 8,90€

Hier gibt es super lecke Bowls zum selber zusammenstellen. Für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei, egal ob Fleisch, Fisch, vegetarisch oder vegan. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilft auch wenn einem die Kreativität fehlt.

Essen soll glücklich machen. Ich hatte fast Freudentränen in den Augen. War selbst 2x auf Hawaii und freue mich darüber, dass dieses geniale Speisenprinzip in Berlin angekommen ist. Das leckerste, was ich seit Monaten gegessen habe.

Qualität war sehr gut und auch die Portionen sind in Ordnung. Leider finde ich die Preise etwas hoch.

Die Lage des MALOA Poke Bowl ist sehr zentral und das Ambiente ist nett. Die Bowls sind sehr lecker und werden frisch zubereitet. Allerdings wechselt das Personal häufig und manchmal scheint es nicht in der besten Stimmung zu sein, was den Gesamteindruck etwas trübt. Trotzdem ist das Essen empfehlenswert, besonders wenn man auf der Suche nach einer guten Poke Bowl ist.

I thought there was something wrong with my order, so I drove to the restaurant and had a bad attitude about the food and service. The guy politely said that there was nothing wrong with the food (an he was right!!) and gave me another one for free to make up for the trouble of driving to the restaurant because their phone wasn't working. Bowls die man sich nach Belieben zusammenstellen kann. Geschmacklich sehr gut und man merkt dass frische Zutaten verwendet werden. Das Ambiente ist niedlich gestaltet, jedoch etwas klein. Die Bedienungen arbeiten sehr schnell jedoch verstehen die meist kein Deutsch. Eine gute Kennzeichnung dass nur eine Barzahlung möglich ist wäre wünschenswert. Trotzdem im Großen und Ganzen gutes und qualitatives Essen.

Komme immer wieder gerne hier vorbei,wenn ich Lust auf gesunde Bowl habe. Die Portionen sind riesig und die Lebensmittel sehr frisch und lecker. Mein persönlicher Favorit besteht aus Reis, Zuchininudeln, Spinat, Garnelen, ALLE Mixins, Crazy Lime Soße, dazu Seetangsalat und Quacamole.

Very honest personal, food is good

Habe eigentlich immer gerne bestellt gehabt nur heute war es leider nicht wie immer. Ich zahlte einen Aufpreis für Avocados und erhielt eine unreife harte Avocado mit leichter Schale noch dran als ich mich Telefonisch meldete wurde hier keinerlei Rücksicht gezeigt. Schade…

Sehr hübscher Laden, Das Personal ist etwas schüchtern aber alles top und Essen schmeckt sehr gut. Sehr gute Portionen.

Super leckere Bowls zum selbst zusammenstellen. Die Zutaten sahen frisch aus und schmeckten auch so. Das Personal war nicht allzu gut darin, deutsch zu sprechen. Auch wurde uns erst im Nachgang gesagt, dass ausschließlich Barzahlung möglich ist. Zum Glück konnten wir noch etwas Geld zusammenkratzen.

Habe mir eine Bowl zum mitnehmen geholt. Nach dem Verzehr wurde mir schlecht und ich lag den ganzen Tag im Bett, ich denke es liegt an den Garnelen. Portionen zudem sehr klein für den hohen Preis. Bin früher immer sehr gerne her gekommen aber frische und Preis- Leistungs Verhältnis lassen enorm nach.

Items stolen when left unattended !! I mistakenly left some items behind, overnight. When returning the next day, my bag was found (moved, by an employee) but the items inside were gone. The staff was supportive, one employee showed concern and looked around and contacted the others. Beware what you leave unattended at this location. Aside from this, the food is consistently delicious. Well worth the price.
