MALOA Poke Bowl in Berlin

By 7 p.m., the place was very crowded, so we couldn't get a seat and had to take our bowls to go. There are several options for takeout containers. However, the only cutlery provided is chopsticks—there are no forks or spoons. The food was delicious, but the portions could have been larger for the €11-15 price tag. The salesperson only spoke English.

Really delicious and fresh food!

Food was cold and tasteless, smoothie as well. Not worth the money. The only restaurant on the street without a queue upfront, which makes sense why!

Very good cuisine, lots of vegetarian dishes, but you can also get them with chicken if required. There is also a certain selection of fish.

Mix and match Asian bowls. Great variety of options to pick from, also good vegetarian options (tofu, veggie chicken, falafel). Small place without table service - you just order, pay and directly get your bowl at the counter and find a seat yourself.

Actually a really delicious bowl, but when we saw the salmon we had a strange feeling that it was thawed frozen salmon, well after eating the bowl and the salmon we unfortunately didn't feel well, so be careful with the raw fish there Apart from that, I think a bowl for just under €15 is really expensive

I love Maloa for their fresh, varied poke bowls! The ingredients are always crunchy and tasty. I think it's particularly great that you can put together your own bowl - perfect for getting exactly what you're in the mood for. Clear recommendation for anyone who likes fresh and healthy dishes.

I ordered to pickup, the shop looked very cute and the staff member behind the counter seemed very friendly. I got a bowl with tempura shrimp, avocado etc for around 17 euros (which is already pretty expensive). Which would’ve been fine, if there would’ve been more than 4 tiny tempura shrimp on top. Felt a little ripped off. Oh well

Everything was great, cheap and so yummy! Big portions and big choice of products for your bowl in different “custom” versions:)

I got food poisoning after eating at this place! Very disappointed, because i liked the concept and the food tasted nice, however i had to spend the rest of the afternoon, evening and night in the bathroom. I ate the “Vul’cano Chicken Bowl”, i think the chicken had gone bad. Such a shame!

Recliner service was super fast! Unfortunately, the food quality is really not that good... the avocado was hard and not yet ripe and the cucumber and spinach were mushy. It's a real shame that the fish didn't taste very fresh anymore...

It tasted great. Light vegan food with a wonderful color. The spring rolls were great.

I say “not that much sauce” but so much was poured in that the bowl was more reminiscent of a soup. There was no tea either, although tea boxes were on display.

I was at this Ma’Loa restaurant to eat with my girlfriend last week. First of all, the food was really nice and the restaurant clean. Unfortunately, I overheard a conversation of the man working there and he complained about working with women. He kept saying they work bad and that’s why he doesn’t not like to hire women. How can this be? My girlfriend felt so uncomfortable that we left and finished eating outside. We will never go bag to that store. What an awful worldview in such an openminded city as Berlin.

The food was very tasty, the service deserved a five, but unfortunately my beetroot was forgotten. Not that tragic either, secretly I don't like them that much ;)

La décoration du lieu est sympathique, et le personnel est accueillant et parle parfaitement allemand et anglais. Il y a très peu de tables, ce qui oblige de nombreux clients à prendre à emporter et à manger aux alentours. Nous avons eu de la chance et avons pu profiter de la table avec banc-balancelle. Quelques points à améliorer : le riz du poke était trop cuit, probablement à cause d'une longue conservation dans un cuiseur. Les ingrédients du poke sont tous mélangés et assaisonnés ensemble avant d'être ajoutés sur le riz, au lieu d'être disposés séparément dans l'assiette, ce qui permettrait aux clients de déguster les aliments individuellement. Dernière critique, le restaurant ne possède pas de toilettes pour les clients...

The window seat on the hanging swing is great. The bowls were just right in quantity and well seasoned. Friendly staff. No cash.

Very nice places, they have build-your-own-poke option, which is super convenient. Ingredients are fresh, workers are quick and friendly, bowl tasted amazing and was large.

Great food - large and fresh poke bowl, lots of options to choose from, good service and bit hot interiors.

These Bowls are just perfect. We had the ready-made bowls offered, with salmon and shrimp. Both combinations were famous. We took our food with us as it was insanely hot inside. But the environment is nice, in Hawaiian style.

When we showed a coupon deal for a 2 for 1 bowl, the worker refused to acknowledgement offer even though we were showing the screen that displayed the deal. Both workers refused to grant us the deal and simply displayed that they most likely were not familiar with the app (NeoTaste), and simply did not care to understand us. We payed begrudgingly out of hunger, but will definitely not come back here again as the unsympathetic service left a more unpleasant feeling than anything else.

I arrived right after the lunch run and everything was so smooth. They switched out some ingredients that I did not like as soon as I asked. Taste is 10/10.

I ate with my friend at the restaurant yesterday apart from the mushy sushi rice, I ordered one poke bowl to go for my sister, which we asked you to put it in the fridge until we come back and pick it up later. After I arrived home we noticed the bowl you gave me from the fridge was the wrong order! I ordered a poke bowl with sushi rice, salmon, cucumber, Edemame, kimchi and avocado. But sadly the order I got seems to have chicken and nuts and we don’t eat chicken. The bowl costed me around 15€ which my sister couldn’t even eat. I’ve called you right away but I got told to send an email regarding the matter and I did but still didn’t receive an answer.

The bowls were very tasty! We got there quickly and the service was quick. You can put together many different healthy and fresh ingredients to create the perfect bowl. There are many vegan and vegetarian options but also meat and fish. So there is something for everyone. The atmosphere there is very relaxed and you can sit down comfortably and eat on site, which also saves you on packaging waste. Have fun trying!

Bad service and dirty tables. Unfortunately a bad first impression. The store wasn't full. Another guest besides us. The bowl was passable. Unfortunately I didn't get the ones I ordered because a delivery was being processed in between and then the ingredients for the bowl I ordered and paid for were all gone and there was no motivation to get ingredients from the warehouse. MA also didn't know about the drinks on offer. I always think it's a shame when the employees don't speak any German. Then we switched to English.

I was there with my mother and my brother. Lots of different ways you can design your bowl. Lots of vegan options. We all enjoyed it very much. The shop is very nicely decorated but unfortunately there is hardly any seating. If I lived near there, I would order very often.

It is expensive. The staff is not friendly. And the decor is uncomfortable. Not recommended!

Very tasty bowls that you can put together yourself. There are also vegetarian and vegan versions. I had a vegan chicken bowl and highly recommend it.

Price performance was not justified. The lettuce was old and had lots of brown spots.

Slowest to get served, they seemed to prioritise Uber eats or just constantly stock up already full ingredient bowls on display. When it came to be served the server was incredibly rude, didn’t even apologise for the 10 minute wait and almost threw the finished bowl at me.

Overall it was nice but staff was kind of carried away and I had to repeat my order a couple of times. It’s a super cute place blasting hard techno so that combo also felt a bit weird.

Super tasty, a bit expensive but typical mid-range price. You pay around 15 euros for food and drinks. Vegan Sriracha mayo and the possibility of making the sauces yourself would be great.

The food was very good. It was great that you could choose the ingredients yourself. The staff was also very helpful and patient. When we once ordered from this restaurant and an ingredient was sold out, we received a €20 voucher as compensation, which was also accepted in other branches. It was just a shame that there was no cutlery to take away other than chopsticks, and the containers with the food leaked.

The food was extremely overpriced and way too spicy, even though I didn't want it spicy. Service unfriendly, no advice. For over 20 euros for a dish, the stomach ache afterwards was already paid for! Never again.

Die gewählte Bowl hat mir nicht geschmeckt und war lieblos angerichtet. Sehr kleine Tische. Obwohl nur drei Meter zum Platz, musste ich mir das Essen selbst abholen.

Bisschen klein, keine WC, aber das Essen ist super lecker. Man kann sich etwas fertiges bestellen oder Zutaten selber zusammenwürfeln. Immer wieder gerne 😊

Netter und guter Service der sich Zeit nimmt für die Zusammenstellung. Vulcano Chicken Bowl war mein Persönlicher Favorit, alles sah Frisch aus und hat auch so geschmeckt, leider war beim Verzehr kein freier Platz mehr frei so das ich draußen auf einer Bank gesessen habe. Doch relativ eng und klein der Innenraum zum Verzehr. Zu Stoßzeiten würde ich essen zum mitnehmen empfehlen.
