Spontan sind wir dort eingekehrt. Die Karte ist genial bestückt mit den verschiedensten Delikatessen. Besonders hervor zu heben ist die Auswahl an nicht alkoholischen Cocktails!Zum Essen hatten wir uns für Sushi und Curry Hühnchen entschieden. Beides fantastisch. Die Einrichtung des Restaurants ist ansprechend und der Service flink und freundlich. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder 😊.

Can recommend, the Drinks (ice tea, water) are top tier. I Love getting my mineral water with some lime and mint. The food is great too, but it's your typical asian restaurant with 100 items on the menu, dont expect culinary revolutions. About the waiters: it's maybe just cultural differences, the waiters in Asian restaurants are a lot more "low key". I dont want to be overly generalizing, but quite often they are focused on "not disturbing the guest" and staying in the background. Quite often you can finish your meal and drinks but they will not approach you unless you call for them.

The best Asian food in Leipzig. The appetizer platter for two is particularly recommended, as is the main course, the Barbary duck in teriyaki sauce. The lemonades are also truly delicious. The food arrives quickly, the atmosphere is very pleasant, and the service is very friendly.

Today was my first visit to this restaurant. The space is really nice and cozy. The food was just mediocre, nothing special. I ordered the udon curry, but what I got tasted almost exclusively of coconut milk and cream—it completely lacked the typical spice and curry flavor. The "Bun Bo Nam Bo" was bland and lacked the typical, aromatic flavor of fish sauce. What disappointed me most, however, was the staff and their behavior—especially the male staff member. Even after I tipped, I didn't receive a smile or a friendly word. The food was placed on the table without comment—no "Bon appétit," no sign of respect. They put the food down and just left, as if I'd begged for something. No one asked if everything was okay or how I liked the food. The service was cold and indifferent. Honestly, even if the food isn't particularly good, friendly and respectful service can save the day. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here.

Following a recommendation, we visited Maison Viet for the first time. We were initially surprised by the pleasant ambiance. The dark interior feels very cozy. The restaurant offers a diverse selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices. Our food was attractively served and freshly prepared. Everything was extremely delicious. The service, however, could be improved. Even though there were hardly any customers, it took the waitress 10 minutes to bring us the menu. Our drink order hadn't been asked for yet. This happened after another 10 minutes. They could have worked more quickly. There were also no questions asked in between. The overall wait time was still acceptable and was made up for by the really good food. If you're not in a hurry, you'll eat well here.

After a walk through the city tonight, we decided to pop in for a light bite — and ended up with the papaya salad and the summer rolls. Let’s start with the rolls: fresh, vibrant, and satisfying. The menu claimed “four pieces,” but what arrived were two large ones, neatly halved. A classic move, no scandal — still crisp, fresh, and totally recommendable. The papaya salad with lime dressing? Also fine. Light, decent crunch, but flavor-wise we’ve had more exciting versions elsewhere — this one stayed a bit shy on the fireworks. Still, it did the job. Drinks included a small Radler (a beer mixed with lemon soda) and a house water that lowkey stole the show: infused with lemon, lime, orange, and mint — the kind of detail that turns water into a statement. Big points there. We ended up right at €25 including tip — fair enough for being practically in the heart of Leipzig. The service? Let’s say it took its time warming up. It wasn’t busy when we arrived, but we still waited quite a bit before placing our order. Once things got rolling, it was smooth enough, if not exactly sparkling with charm. Would we come back? Absolutely. It’s a chill spot for a casual bite, and sometimes, that’s exactly what you need.

Four of us ate here on a Tuesday. It wasn't particularly busy. But at some point, the server forgot about us, and we waited forever to order a drink. Maybe we should smoke less outside and keep an eye on the customers. The food was okay! I've had worse sushi, but I've also had much better. We didn't order anything else and asked for the bill.

A really lovely restaurant. They also have a large selection of vegan dishes. I love the udon noodles, tofu vegetables, and chop soy. The non-alcoholic cocktails are also so good. My favorite is the watermelon star. I'll be back again and again.

The food was very tasty and there were positive vibes from the others too. The service was a bit rare for us, the Maison Viet could certainly have earned a three-digit amount more. The toilets are very stylish, they really put an effort into it.

Although the store looks rather inconspicuous from the outside, the atmosphere inside is very inviting and cozy. The food is extremely tasty, plentiful and served very quickly. I deduct a small point from the service because in the end we had to ask for our bill several times and it took a really long time until it was finally brought to us. But still a highly recommended restaurant. I will definitely come back! :)

Very tasty and very fresh, the summer rolls as a starter with tofu are really a highlight. The ginger mint tea and the mango lassi are also highly recommended drinks! Price performance really top.

The visit there was a real experience 😍😂 the atmosphere is very quiet, without loud music or anything else. There is plenty of space and the decor is very stylish! The sushi and curry was very, very tasty! Unfortunately the Pho was bland.

We were there with Neo button. At the beginning we told the waitress that we wanted to redeem the Neo Taste Sushi voucher. During the payment process there was a discussion with a gentleman because he didn't want to use the Neo Taste voucher because we should have said so at the beginning, which we did!!! We'll never go there again, it's bordering on fraud. Even though it was only a matter of a few euros. I don't understand why you let yourself be displayed on NeoTaste if you don't want to accept the vouchers. Incredibly bad service.

Tragedy. The food is tragic. Unless you're eating Asian food. The service is tragic. It feels like a waiter. I asked for coffee three times, but I never got it.

We've been there several times. It has slowed down a lot, unfortunately. Service is poor, you are ignored as a guest for a long time. We wanted to pay and had to go to the counter because no one came. Portions have become smaller. It's a shame, because the atmosphere is actually very nice. We had reserved a table on February 14th, 2025 for 5:30 p.m. When we got there, we were told we had until 7:30 p.m. That was the first negative point, not a nice greeting, the second negative point. There were no drinks, no questions asked if you wanted anything else. Third negative point. You had the feeling that you weren't really welcome there. Quickly come in, eat, pay and then leave again. We found that very unfortunate. Maybe it had something to do with the date. Sushi platter for two was good, and came to the table fairly quickly. Ambiance is also very nice. Very tasty food, friendly and fast service and, unlike many other restaurants, you can get a seat here spontaneously and without pre-ordering. There is a quite extensive and sometimes quite funny translated menu here. So you not only get good food, but also something to smile about 😉

It is very tasty here 🤤 the service is also not bad for Germany, but you can be friendlier. A table was reserved, but upon arrival it turned out that the staff had not made a reservation. You should ask the staff for confirmation of the reservation by mail or by phone. Sushi is very tasty: a lot of fish, little rice, a large selection.

We went here for dinner on the recommendation of friends. The food was good and the atmosphere was also very nice. The only thing that left room for improvement was the friendliness of the waitresses and their general attention when we came in. The service staff was sufficient but still brought the wrong drink. The food didn't look any more promising and was ultimately even more disappointing in terms of taste.

I visited this beautiful, modern and traditionally decorated Vietnamese restaurant with my family, a total of 5 people, on Monday morning. To get to know the diversity of the menu, we all ordered different dishes. All the dishes came at the same time and were consistently delicious! We were particularly impressed by the tenderness and juiciness of the fish and meat dishes - that further enhanced the experience. In addition, the prices were right and the staff was very friendly. On the way to the toilet we noticed how spacious and well structured the restaurant is. It would definitely be an ideal place for cozy celebrations such as birthdays or Christmas parties. We'll definitely be back!

We were here with a total of 6 people last weekend. The atmosphere is very pleasant and cozy. The food/sushi was very tasty and very fresh. However, the service is very, very inattentive. If you don't ask for drinks yourself, you would probably be left high and dry. Empty glasses are ignored. The table was not cleared and we sat in front of our empty plates and platters until we paid, even though a waiter/waitress walked past several times. Super inattentive. It's better to talk to each other, including the boss, than to worry about the guest. It's also difficult to tip. It's a shame, but there are other good restaurants too.

The restaurant on Gottschedstrasse is a cozy and spacious restaurant. The decor is modern traditional and not so kitschy. The staff is very friendly and plentiful. The menu offers everything from vegetarian to meat. Price/performance is very good and the portions are plentiful and fresh. There is also a cozy outdoor area for the summer. Definitely worth a visit. Always my pleasure.

I was in this restaurant four times in total. That's saying something! I ordered the sashimi platter every time. That also means something. In my opinion the best sashimi I have eaten in Germany. Personally, I come from Hamburg and think I can tell you something about fish. By that I don't mean the way it's served. But the quality. Unfortunately, I find the service to be very unmotivated and not exactly friendly, but rather extremely reserved. That's why unfortunately I can't give out any stars here. If I could, I would give minus stars. Conclusion: if you want good sashimi you should go here, if you want good service you shouldn't. It's a shame, but this establishment probably won't survive for long.

It was supposed to be a fun evening with 13 colleagues. Unfortunately, the restaurant staff didn't know anything about our telephone order. At first they seemed disoriented, but tables were quickly put together in the back area. The ambience makes you feel comfortable, but the service was rather subpar. Between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. we were asked once if we had another wish. For dinner I chose rice, vegetables, tofu (I'm not a vegetarian) and peanut sauce. As soon as the dish was served I lost my appetite. Unfortunately, the vegetables looked like they were prepared a week ago. Nevertheless, I tried it and unfortunately my first impression was confirmed. All the ingredients tasted bland and far from hmmmmm tasty. So I returned the almost untouched plate. There was no question of why at all. For me it's definitely a restaurant that I won't visit again.

The restaurant offers plenty of space between the tables and is therefore not so noisy. The food was great. The sushi was really good, the fish was super tender. Only the service could have been better. The starters came before the drinks, and despite there being enough staff, it took a relatively long time for a waitress to come to the table.

We feel well looked after at all times and there are multiple environments that allow for privacy. The cocktails are very well served and there are quite a few varieties, as well as the food that tasted good.
