A hotel worth recommending. Friendly service, delicious breakfasts, and a good location near the Old Town. I'm taking one star off for the standard of the room. The walls were clearly unfinished and unpainted. The elevator was acting strangely.

I feel extremely comfortable here. The rooms are very nice and clean. The service is first-class, very attentive and friendly. I got a free Coke. The location and setting are very good. I would definitely come back. 👍🏼👍🏼

Everything was perfect, the proximity to the train station was great. Breakfast was excellent. The bed was too small for me at first, but we were immediately given a new room. It's worth asking; the receptionists are very friendly.

The location is excellent; everything is within easy walking distance. My stay at the Hotel Maison Schiller in Munich! Let's start with the positive: The service was truly first-class. The staff was super friendly and genuinely cared about you. You immediately felt at home. The amenities were also perfectly fine, and the breakfast was sufficient – ​​there was nothing to complain about for a good start to the day. The location was, of course, super central. You could get anywhere you wanted to go in no time, which was really convenient for exploring Munich. But honestly, this central location also had its downside: It was extremely noisy. And the surrounding area? Well, there were lots of foreign shops, snack bars, and even nightclubs. It had a very unique atmosphere, very lively, but not for everyone. And then my room... I had a single room, and it was really extremely small. You had to make do with it a bit. It was fine for one night, but for a longer stay, it would have been too cramped for me personally. So, the bottom line: If you value great service and a prime central location, and can overlook a small room and a noisy but lively environment, then Maison Schiller is definitely an option. But be warned, the nights can get a bit noisy!

A modern, very well-maintained hotel in a central location – about 1 km from the old town. Unfortunately, it's located in a very sketchy train station area with lots of noise around the clock. Sleeping with the window open is almost impossible. Great room, friendly and helpful reception. Breakfast was very good, but the highlight was Ricardo, the Spanish waiter – super friendly, attentive, and simply a great person. Thanks to him, we enjoyed going to breakfast every morning! Conclusion: Great hotel – unfortunately in an unpleasant area.

Saw some posts about it being in a sketchy area... the places that make it sketchy are subtle and only noticeable if looking. My two teenage kids never once noticed anything, and they are unusually observant. We would definitely stay here again.

After being surprised by how bad our original hotel was, we had to find a place quickly—and Maison Schiller was a total lifesaver. It felt like an oasis: quiet, cozy, and so thoughtfully designed. The room was clean, the bed and comforter were super comfortable, and we slept so well. The staff were nice and attentive, which made a big difference. The location was perfect—just a 10-minute walk to the Altstadt, museums, and Marienplatz. REWE, Lidl, and great food options like Snack Zaeem (amazing shawarma!) were all nearby. We felt safe, well cared for, and would happily stay again.

I visited this hotel today for 20 minutes. I had a business meeting planned. I was stopped at the reception and asked what I was looking for in the hotel. I tried to explain that I would only be at the hotel for 10-15 minutes, to which I quote, “A lot can happen in 10 minutes!” I think such behavior was very inappropriate and definitely unprofessional! After 15 minutes I left the hotel. At the reception I asked for the name of the receptionist (if I understood correctly, her name was Mr. Mathe). After a short discussion in which I expected at least an apology, I was verbally banned from entering the hotel without giving any reasons! This hotel is very high quality in many ways, the room was very tastefully and modernly decorated. I think the whole situation could have been resolved calmly and with a smile. Unfortunately it turned out to be very unprofessional! I recommend improving the reception staff. I wish this hotel only the best and many satisfied guests! Best regards Kutil Joseph

Very good option to spend a few days in Munich. The rooms are very very clean, although they are a little small. The breakfast is incredible, Ricardo, the manager of the breakfast buffet, is very friendly and kind. Everything was very delicious, good products. The hotel is located very close to Munich's main train station, and although the area at night seems a little unsafe, we didn't have any problems. It is a multiracial neighborhood. I would return for the location and the breakfast.

Close to the trainstation, 5min walk. Good location. Friendly staff, quick check in. Lots of channels on tv, not that many english spoken channels, but you can mirror phone on tv. Fridge in room with free water. Also free coffee in the room. Room didn't feel small. Good value for money

The accommodation is very cute. The room is not considered narrow. The room is okay, clean, fully equipped, has a coffee maker, free coffee, good wifi, very fast. The location is a little over 1 km walk to the old town area, you can walk comfortably.

Nice hotel in a central location - you can get everywhere on foot. The rooms were tidy and nicely decorated. The staff was always available and very polite. Even though we arrived at 6 a.m., the nice gentleman at reception provided us with a room and we were allowed in immediately. Simply a mega plus and a big thank you for that!

The hotel is centrally located. The rooms are functional and well furnished. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was varied and had something for every taste. Self-service is ok. From a hygienic point of view, you should provide the cutlery with the handle upwards, that costs one star. Otherwise everything was fine.

The hotel is actually very central. You can get to the city center very quickly on foot. There's a lot going on in the area, but the room is very quiet because of the great windows. I was disappointed in the quality of the blankets and pillows - the pillows were (somewhat exaggeratedly) lumpy devices that you had to tamp down to get a reasonably flat surface. The bed covers were very thin - I really froze in the cold night. To be honest, I would have expected more here. We also found the ambience in the breakfast room rather disappointing - small room, manageable buffet... We then decided on a different breakfast location. Overall, given the very good reviews, I expected a little more from the hotel. Anyway, thanks to the team!

Firstly, the price of the hotel wasn't bad and neither was the location with access to pretty much everything we wanted to do around it. The staff I will say is very courteous and nice all of the time. But, we did have some complaints. To start we had to move rooms because our fridge was not working which we needed for milk for our small child. The Wi-Fi here also wasn't very good and the in room that you are supposed to connect to had no connection. And this wasn't just in 1 room but also the 2nd room that we were moved into. And yes out side your window if you are facing the street is a giant screen displaying dancers for a cabaret at night. Overall I enjoyed my trip to Munich but if I had the choice again I would read the reviews of the hotel I pick.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, the bathroom lacks a bidet. The location is central but when you leave it feels like you are in Tunis. Service only acceptable. Excellent breakfast. Price a little high.

We booked one night here including breakfast. Almost in the middle of the city you can easily get anywhere. The room was very new and clean. It could have been a little warmer. At breakfast there was everything you would expect.

The staff were very friendly and the rooms were very nicely decorated. Unfortunately the rooms were quite noisy. The breakfast was ok but wasn't really refilled. The location is super close to public transport but not very nice.

Hotel rather well located due to its proximity to Munich central station. On the other hand, it is located on a street with lots of stripclubs and sex shops so it can be disturbing for some and amusing for others… The room was clean but there was a smell of rising water which was not very pleasant. Finally, the service was top notch by informing us on various points and keeping our suitcases throughout the day.

The workers were very friendly and treated us excellently, we had a problem with our reservation (it was not the fault of the hotel) and the workers were very understanding, attentive and empathetic especially sayed and hulusi. Unfortunately not recommended. Let's start with the room. According to the photos, I booked a relatively large room with a balcony. We got a small room without a balcony... Well, it's only for overnight stays. It's annoying, however, when the television doesn't play YouTube in 2024 and when you want to watch YouTube via mirror sharing (smartphone on television) the entire WiFi is deactivated - so basically useless. In addition, the shower seal was broken, which meant that the floor in the bathroom could only be walked on with slippers. The cleaning also often left water stains and the sink had strange stains from arrival to departure (4 days) that were not removed. And then there's the parking. The hotel has a cooperation with a parking garage, which means the daily price for parking is €16. However, it doesn't help much if the parking garage is full in the evening and you have to pay €30 in the parking garage opposite. (Other hotels in the other parking garages also have their own area, why can't the Masion Schiller get it??). Everything so far, things that you can accept if necessary, even if they spoil your vacation a little. The area, however, is pure horror. I can't recommend anyone to book a hotel in this area. Only strangely aggressive figures walk around in front of the door. The shops around it are crucial (if I had looked better on maps beforehand...). Every trip to the tram or towards Marienplatz meant avoiding eye contact with the people there, otherwise you would get into conflicts. When we left, we even made sure to leave when the strange people were still asleep. (We weren't the only ones there). All in all, acceptable for early birders for a fair price... if it weren't for the area. In this area, however, I do not recommend anyone to take any hotel in this area.

As other reviewers have noted, your feelings about this hotel will likely depend on how much you value certain things. For us, the price of this place and our feelings on the location and quality make it a place we would never go back to or recommend. The location, as noted, is quite close to the central train station, making it easy to get to from a main hub. However, the neighborhood is grimy, with strip clubs and gold shops lining the streets. It's relatively close to Oktoberfest, so if you plan on going frequently, this place is good. For us, though, choosing this place based on its location was a mistake. Munich has so many other train and team stops, so you could choose a different place and still be well connected for any travel you might have before or after your stay in Munich. While we did go to Oktoberfest, we only went one day, so for the rest of our trip, we were stuck in a bad neighborhood having to hoof it to get to anywhere we actually would want to spend time. There were no coffee shops, restaurants or sights within this neighborhood, so you really had to walk at least ten to fifteen minutes to get to anything you'd want in terms of those things. The rooms themselves and the hotels quality left a lot to be desired. Our bed was rock hard, which was torture for me. We also had two nights where little gnats or other little bugs were flying around our faces as we spent time in the room. I woke up with a couple of bug bites one morning which was disgusting and made it difficult to sleep in the nights after. The shower leaked all over the floor every time we used it, and there was mold in the corners of it. Finally, the windows and walls are paper thin, so if you have a room facing the street, you'll feel as though you have no window. You can hear every sound, even three floors up. The only really positive thing I can say is that the staff were all very friendly and accommodating.

Want to first say, staff tried the best they could to help. Lights and TV didn't work in our room. They moved us to another room and two of the lights were hanging by the wires. Previous room was noisy but the second room was worse. Not happy overall.

We were travelling with our two small kids to this very nice hotel. The room was big, comfortable, and clean. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the centre of Munich. The staff was very kind and helpful. I highly recommend it.

We booked the Maison Schiller due to its proximity to the Old Town and the train station, which was perfect for us! Like the other reviews had said, the rooms are tiny. We are both girls about 5 feet tall and couldn’t easily walk around the room, and if you have anything bigger than medium checked luggage I think you would have problems opening it in the standard double room. The shower is also pretty small. That being said, location is great and the front desk was very helpful at making sure we could easily get to the airport in the morning.

The small room with the twin bed in the corner to not rent. Get one of the double bed rooms. My AC was not working. They did bring me a fan. The staff definitely tried hard to please me. The bed and shower were fine. The floor appears new. It be nice if it had a bidet. The location is an area not far from old town or the central train . There are many many hotels in the area. I personally feel the price is high. But will work out a deal lower than Booking etc which was cool. There are some immigrants that gather around in the evenings. I’d suggest if your a girl too not stay out too late. People should call the police on these kind of people.

The hotel is very beautiful and clean. The reception staff are very friendly. The hotel is very well located because it is 6 minutes from the city center and it allows you to benefit from a preferential price with covered parking 150 meters away. On the other hand, the card maker is sensitive. In the evening it gets hot and it's better not to hang out in the neighborhood ⚠️

This hotel is in a historical building, the rooms are spațios, clean and have all the amenities. The receptionists we met were extremely helpful and nice. The area however, although close to the city center and to the central station, is a bit rough, noisy and dirty compared to the other central areas.

All the employees at this hotel are very cheerful and can speak good English. Thank you for your kind treatment. However, the room I stayed in was very dark and it was difficult to read the text. And breakfast was the least delicious hotel I had while traveling in Europe for a month. I'm sorry. Last but not least, I would like to thank all the German people who have been so kind to me. Germany is still the most balanced and wonderful country in Europe. I'm 72 years old so I can't come anymore. thank you very much.

Das Zimmer war sauber und modern, ich wurde immer freundlich behandelt. Leider war Waschbecken stark undicht und unbenutzbar, das Duschgel alle, die Kaffeetasse im Zimmer hatte keinen Griff mehr und die Batterie im Safe war fast leer. Die Mängel wurden sichtlich beschämt aufgenommen. Das Frühstück ist vollkommen in Ordnung und es gibt viel Auswahl am Buffet. 2 Kissen, ausreichend Steckdosen und WLAN auf den Zimmern -Top. Meine Fenster waren zur innenliegenden Feuerleiter und damit sehr ruhig und das sogar an Silvester. Kann man nicht meckern. Wenn das Waschbecken I.O. wäre - dann klare Empfehlung

Ubicado cerca de la estación del tren. Sin embargo, en una zona muy concurrida, por lo que al inicio nos dieron una habitación muy pequeña y a la que la calefacción no le funcionaba y el ruido de las sirenas en la calle era bastante. Al no funcionar el calentador, nos pasaron a otra habitación un poco más espaciosa. Sin embargo, tengo que acotar que en los dos baños de ambas habitaciones, los paños de ducha no olían bien, tengo mis dudas con el lavado de esos paños.

Das Hotel ist aufgrund des super freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Personals sehr empfehlenswert. Die Zimmer sind sauber und bieten alles für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Auch die zentrale Lage des Hotels ist toll, den Hauptbahnhof kann man sehr schnell zu Fuß erreichen.

Kleines Hotel im Bahnhofsviertel. Sehr kleines Zimmer, minimalistisch, aber sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Badezimmer hingegen sehr groß. Da kein Schreibtisch vorhanden, für Business nicht wirklich geeignet. Sehr nette, hilfsbereite Leute an der Rezeption. Frühstück ist nicht umwerfend, aber ok.
