Food ordered, restaurant confirms order and delivery. After about an hour, the restaurant canceled the order through the provider WITHOUT any comment, reason, or anything else and delivered nothing at all. A bottomless impudence that I have never experienced before. I don't know if service could be any worse.

The stay at the Arabesk was very, very nice! We had a very nice waitress and the chef himself was at our table! Very tasty food and very good value for money. We'd love to come back. Melissa

The Arabesk restaurant offers a solid selection of oriental dishes in a pleasant atmosphere. The food was consistently good – freshly prepared, tastefully seasoned and beautifully presented. It didn't quite reach the level of a culinary highlight, but overall it was a successful visit. The service was friendly and attentive, which rounded off the experience even more positively. If you're looking for good oriental cuisine in Munich, you're definitely in good hands here.

The food was okay, not exceptional but fine. What takes the grade down is the service, not the fault of our waitress, but the food took forever to arrive, about 45 minutes, while the restaurant wasn't full at all... And why is it so dark in there? The light was already not so bright at the beginning but at some point someone reduced it again... Neibohring tables had to put out their phone lamp to read the menu... It is not absolutely terrible but also not exactly a very good restaurant...

We have only been to this restaurant once and never again. We waited almost 2 hours for sandwich plates. When we repeatedly asked how long we would have to wait, we were not even given an answer or an apology. The service was zero.

The food tasted good but the portion was far too small. That wasn't enough for me at all.

They have live music and belly dancing on Fridays and Saturdays (after 11:00pm). It is a bit expensive! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The oriental decor created a very authentic and cozy atmosphere. The absolute highlight, however, was the food! Each dish was incredibly delicious, with great spices and fresh ingredients that brought out the flavors beautifully. As a special bonus, there was free black tea at the end, which was the perfect end to a fantastic meal. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I love this restaurant. My family and I have been eating there for special occasions for years. The restaurant has a great ambience, the service is very good and above all the food is great. I can highly recommend the menu of cold and warm starters.

A great restaurant with an oriental flair. Be sure to order one of the appetizers; they're simply delicious with flatbread. For our main course, we had a grilled meat, which was very good. The quality of the meat was excellent, and the lamb was very tender. Arabic teas rounded off the experience (especially with a little honey).

Food below average. Unfortunately, the taste doesn't have much to do with Lebanese cuisine, portions are much too small. The eye eats too. Presentation lifeless and unappealing. Service was ok. Ambience: I personally find it inappropriate to play loud house music in the background of an oriental restaurant that has been around for almost 40 years. Unfortunately we won't visit the restaurant a second time.

Dear Arabesk Team ❤️, we visited you yesterday and have to give you a huge compliment. It was a truly wonderful evening. The hummus on your appetizer platter is absolutely perfect, and the rest of the appetizers were also more than good. The falafel was super crispy on the outside and tender as butter on the inside 🤤. My companion loved your lamb skewer, and my bowl with bulgur and halloumi was also amazing. The staff is super friendly, accommodating, and quick. The shop itself is beautifully decorated and simply immerses you in this other world. If anyone were to ask me for a restaurant recommendation in Munich, you would definitely be at the top of the list. We'll definitely be back soon.

Food Service is extremely slow ! Extremely. We had to wait for 2.5h for the food !! It was very annoying, especially during Ramadan time when half of us were fasting. We catered the food to our office last time - that was amazing.

Don't order!!! We waited over 2 hours for our order. In the meantime we ordered and ate elsewhere and the food we originally ordered still hasn't arrived. Simply terrible service. Nobody can be reached at the telephone number provided. Can't recommend this at all. The store is also overly expensive. If only it would at least shine with quality and service, but unfortunately we don't notice any of that. Unfortunately, this is the third time we've experienced the same thing; It can be that there is a lot going on, but three times in a row during the week the food arrives after 2 hours. Unfortunately, a disappointment through and through.

Big disappointment - poor service and small portions Our visit to this restaurant was a huge disappointment. We were a group of 24 people and had agreed everything verbally in advance, but unfortunately nothing was kept. The biggest problem was the waiting time: we had to wait almost two hours for our food, even though we had made a reservation. When the food finally came, the grill plates we ordered were incomplete - both the fries and the rice were missing, even though we had specifically ordered them. When we asked, we only received an unfriendly and unhelpful answer. In addition, the portions were far too small for the price. We definitely expected more, especially from a restaurant known for its grilled dishes. Unfortunately, the taste didn't make up for the many shortcomings. All in all, a disappointing experience that was not offset by either the service or the quality of the food. Definitely not recommended!

I like the decoration of the place but unfortunately the service wasn’t good and the food not delicious.

This place was on my list for way to long. Because I missed out on amazing food. We had dinner quite early, around 5pm therefore no one else was in the restaurant and we practically had a private dinner;) We got the mixed vegan starter with different small starters and they all are super recommendable, especially the hummus was to die for. My main dish was spinach and rice and it was seasoned super well. Also a nice touch is that the menu is largely vegan and vegetarian. Overall the restaurant is super pretty and nice to look at, so definitely come visit this place.

The manager is not customer oriented

In town and ordered delivery, everything was absolutely fantastic, the foul, tabouleh, hummus, labneh, lentil/rice/onion, zaatar & cheese manoushe, and the chocolate pistachio baklava was one of the best things I’ve had in awhile. Will be hard not to order this again before we leave!!

Unfortunately we got fried dumplings with minced meat, which I only noticed after biting into them... a no-go. However, we were given the vegetarian version afterwards and were apologized several times.

We visited this restaurant with high expectations as it was recommended to us several times. Unfortunately, the experience was anything but satisfactory. As soon as we arrived, there were initial ambiguities: At the entrance there was a small tablet and a sign asking guests to wait until they were seated. A woman was already waiting in front of us, but no one paid any attention to her - or to us. Several minutes passed as a waitress walked past us several times without noticing us. Finally a man came in, briefly used the tablet and then disappeared without a word. After more than ten minutes, we decided to take action ourselves and went downstairs, where we finally spoke to a waiter who then took us to our table. Service continued at the same slow pace. Even though the downstairs area was only about two-thirds full, it took a long time for our order to be taken. The drinks were particularly slow to arrive: guests who arrived after us received their orders more quickly. One of the drinks we ordered was only brought with the meal, and another that we had ordered didn't come at all - despite waiting over 30 minutes. About the food: We both ordered the grilled skewer, which according to the menu is served with pepperoni. However, these were missing from both dishes. Our waitress wanted to reorder them, but after waiting 15 minutes we asked again. Another waiter finally brought them - unfortunately lukewarm and completely raw. The meat itself was excellent, but was already cold by the time the dish was complete, which significantly diminished the enjoyment. My cocktail, a Strawberry Caipiroska, arrived a few minutes after dinner. The menu promised Absolut Vodka, strawberry and lime - what I received was basically a glass of vodka with a quartered strawberry and a wedge of lime. In terms of taste, it's a bitter disappointment if you're expecting a fruity drink. After all, exactly what was on the card was delivered - albeit in the simplest possible form. Another "highlight" of the evening was the chaos between the staff and the numerous delivery drivers who apparently had problems with their orders. At least the loud argument provided some entertainment during the endless waiting times. Conclusion: The food - especially the meat - tasted great, but the rest of the experience was simply frustrating. Disorganized service, long waiting times and an overall disappointing implementation of the food and drinks lead me to the conclusion: once and never again. With the large selection of restaurants in Munich, there are definitely better alternatives.

We went for lunch on a winter Sunday after we discovered that all affordable eating places in the nearby English Garten were outdoor ones. There was no need for a reservation. The food was delicious, I liked the spinach with rice and my kids enjoyed the rice with tomato sauce from the kids menu. The waiter was warm and friendly.

Were there for a birthday party, the food was great. If I understood correctly, there is a book dance performance every Saturday for 30 minutes with extremely loud music, something to keep in mind.

We were in Arabesk to grab late lunch. It was around 15:00 and had no problem to get a table. Me, my girlfriend and our baby were welcomed by the staffs who were very friendly to us and had no problem at all to provide us with a "bigger table" so we can have more space for the baby. The interior Design of Arabesk is top notch! Feels like you are indeed in Libanon :) They have various options of traditional libanese foods and also lots of vegetarian / vegan options as well. After ordering we got our dishes quite fast and they were also delicious! You have to try the falafel there! One of the best in Munich so far! After enjoying our dishes we left Arabesk with happy tummy. Definately worth the visit!

We were there on Friday. Our service was sweet, the food was amazing and the ambience was like something out of the 1001 nights. I'm looking forward to the next visit.

Something different and very tasty. It took a while until we were able to assign all the dishes on the Spwise menu. But the food was very tasty. The service could have stopped by a little more often. The three of us shared the appetizer platter for two people. Unfortunately it was not possible to design this for 3 people. We then simply ordered other little things (falaffel, toast).

We had an exceptional culinary evening here with very tasty food and very pleasant conversations with the owners. The meat was very tender and tasted particularly good. All meze were of the finest quality. Thank you for this lovely evening.

We celebrated our birthday and wedding. We had the room just to the right of the entrance. Excellent food (many different starters and many different main courses) Great tea and delicious drinks. There were over 30 people and everyone was overwhelmed by the space, the food and the polite and very accommodating staff! The crowning glory was the belly dancer. She was a beautiful dancer who danced fantastically! We would like to say a big thank you to the owner and the entire staff! You gave us and our guests an unforgettable evening! Thanks for that! I can't understand the bad reviews at all. Today I was eating there with my mom. We sat in the basement and I found it really comfortable. Yes, there was no window, but the ambience was still cozy. Dimmed light, just the way I like it when I want it to be cozy. The food came relatively quickly and the waitress was really friendly. We had two starters that were delicious and two vegetarian main courses. The portion was sufficient and well seasoned. I'll be happy to come back and hope that none of the bad comments come true. 😋 What I also have to admit: there is still room for improvement when it comes to the cleanliness of the toilets.

I had reserved and according to the homepage it was 49€ pp. The next morning (day of reservation) I received unnecessary calls that were really annoying at some point. Luckily I couldn't answer it and replied to his message in writing, in which he unfortunately couldn't form a German sentence, he suddenly changed the price from 49 to 89, even though I didn't even want this song to go with it and this was on the home page didn't stand. When I pointed out to the gentleman that this would be deception according to the law, he sent me a photo of a poster made in Arabic script, which is really ridiculous because just because I am Arab myself doesn't mean that I necessarily have to be able to read the script …. 5 minutes later my reservation was canceled because this uncultured man had no understanding of the fact that I didn't have to pay 89€ pp for such an event that I hadn't reserved, since I would have paid for 4 people and we didn't want to hear this strange singing just food. Conclusion I was there 7 years ago and back then it was already underground, this hasn't changed in 2024/25 either. If this is denied, I will of course post the photos and of course make the cell phone number unrecognizable so that people only see 888 at the end.

We had a wonderful New Year's Eve dinner at Arabesk! The service was very courteous and attentive, the food was incredibly tasty, by far the best falafel I have ever eaten! The owner Karim gave us a pack of falafel to say goodbye! Vegan requests were addressed immediately. We'll definitely be back soon! Arabesque or better said - AraBEST 😏

Best Arabic food in town, abit pricey

I celebrated New Year's Eve with friends at Arabesk and it was the BEST decision! :) The ambience is beautiful, the service couldn't be better and the food tastes great. Everything is freshly prepared and you can tell. And the owner is really a kind person. :) Everything was great!!!

I was there with my husband on Saturday and we were very positively surprised. Food, service, belly dance show, everything was just perfect and we had a very nice evening. I had the opportunity to chat with the restaurant owner, a very, very nice personality who continues his life's work very proudly and from the heart.

I will start with the positives, the food is good and the staff is friendly and maybe on a different day this would be a 4 star review. The negatives: Service: the food took forever while the restaurant was at 50-60% capacity at best by the time we ordered. I mean, cold mezze should NOT take 40+ minutes to be served. Other reviews mentioned slow service and it is real. Again, I feel bad for the staff (the young lady who served us) and they are indeed understaffed or simply inefficient. Food portion: we ordered the mezze "Royal" for 2 and instead we got 'taster' platter (in my books at least, see picture). Similarly for the mixed grill, the kefta shish is either too small which would be horrendous or half of it fell on the grill and the chef never bothered to make another one, again see the picture. Price: I mean 9€ for a 0.75L bottle of water is theft, simple as that. If the service was efficient and the mezze platter was slightly bigger, I wouldn't have bothered much about the price, but unfortunately this was hard to swallow. All in all, I wouldn't bother with this place if I'm ever back in Munich again.

It was a very pleasant evening, nice service, food came quickly. Mezä enjoyed, mixed plate and Kebeh Labaniyeh is the highest league in Lebanese/Syrian cuisine, anyone who can do that has something 😉. So at its finest. We'd love to come back soon.

Our first visit was disappointing. The location is nice, but you're sitting down in the basement, where there are no windows, very dim light and stuffy. Service was somehow irritable and stressed. The starters were very small portions and expensive, but tasted ok. What didn't work at all were the lamb skewers. It smelled so strong that you could hardly eat it. Last but not least, the worst thing I found was the toilets, which were completely filthy.

We arrived last night with an 8.30 p.m. reservation. Starter came quickly - but I think waiting 90 minutes for a main course is a long time... The waitress also offered us 2 drinks on the house which she then simply forgot €109.65 for chicken which was really dry and rice with 2 dumplings 2 drinks 2 baklava is already hard.

Unfortunately we didn't eat anything, so it's difficult to estimate how it tastes. After about half an hour of waiting we were able to order and after an hour and a half the starter wasn't there yet and then we decided to pay for our drinks and leave. The restaurant was pretty full and you could tell that the waitresses had their hands full - so it would be completely understandable if the table next to us hadn't come after us and eaten before us. My recommendation - Skip this one, fella!

Overall, our first visit to Arabesk was unfortunately disappointing. It took 20 minutes until we got a card. We even got up to get one ourselves until a card was brought to us. Overall the service was very very slow and inattentive. For example, I would have liked to order a second drink, but no one came to see us for over 30 minutes. It took 2 hours until our food was finally served. The vegetarian starter selection was very tasty. Both of our main courses were a bit bland and not particularly well seasoned. The belly dancer was a nice interlude. Overall the music is a bit loud. Since we were there with a small child, we would no longer come by in this situation.

As a Lebanese, I cannot recommend this restaurant. While it is well-branded and has a polished aesthetic, the food is unfortunately below average, especially given the high prices. The flavors are bland and fail to capture the essence of Lebanon’s rich culinary heritage. The price-to-taste ratio simply doesn’t add up. Here are some specific issues I encountered: * Batata Harra: The dish was overly oily, too soggy, and the extreme spiciness overwhelmed the flavors entirely. It needs to be crispier and more balanced. * Hummus: It lacked creaminess and was disappointingly bland. This foundational dish should set the tone for authenticity, but it fell flat. * Kebbe: The kebbe was too dry and tasted far from fresh. * Grilled Meats: Both the texture and flavor were off—the meats were too dry, making them unenjoyable. * Warak enab was too sour and not so fresh. Service could also be improved. The waitstaff were not as friendly or attentive as expected. My arak order was missed entirely, and despite checking the “birthday” option when booking, there was no acknowledgment of the occasion. Overall, while the restaurant may look appealing, the experience left much to be desired. There’s significant room for improvement in both food quality and service.
