Servus Habibi in München

I was initially interested, as the name "Servus Habibi" suggested diversity and Middle Eastern cuisine. Upon arrival, however, I discovered that it was Israeli cuisine. This is problematic for me, as this is a country that is internationally criticized for apartheid and the appropriation of cultural elements from neighboring countries – including culinary ones. The restaurant has a name that evokes Arabic connotations, but has nothing to do with them. This strikes me as misleading and tasteless.

Mediocre food and fast-food atmosphere

I am sorry... but I didn't enjoy a single bite of the food. I ordered pita Falafal.

We used to love the old branch around central station but this new branch is a disaster. I took 2 of my friends to the Münchner Freiheit branch and half of the menu was not available so we didn’t have much of a choice. Leave aside that dishes we got were so small and it looked like minimum effort was put into them, the hummus was SO smelly. The three of us had stomach issues after that, one of us had to throw up unfortunately!!! We ended up paying over a 70€ and not even full. Although prices were always too high, in the old branch you at least got something for it. Very disappointing!

I had Servus Habibi on my list for a longer time and I was excited when they moved here. While prices in food are steep I felt like servus Habibi maxed it out. You pay well above 10 bucks for a loveless, soaked bread with 2 little pieces of Haloumi on top. Unfortunately, after eating these two pieces you’re left with not much more than that. Couple euros more and you would have a great pizza, couple euros less and you get more value for money at turkitch. Quality of the ingredients is certainly good though.

Great recommendation! The food is very tasty, I had the dish with halloumi and I absolutely loved it. The employees are very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is very tastefully designed. I'll definitely be back!

No idea if the tenant has changed, but the photos don't match the current restaurant. It's supposed to be hip, but it's quite uncomfortable, purely a snack canteen look, completely different from the photos. The food is very basic, both in terms of presentation and taste. Prices too high for that! But staff was friendly.

Servus Habibi is a great place to enjoy great food in a modern and relaxed atmosphere. The service is top and the staff is very friendly. An absolute tip!

Underground experience. The employee was alone on Friday evening at 9:30 p.m. and took Ordered and prepared the food at the same time. While there was nothing going on in front of us, the tables still hadn't been cleared (there were dirty napkins on ours, for example), and the floor and toilet were extremely dirty. I paid €20 for my mini portion of main course chicken, which is the smallest amount compared to the overall experience. I will never go there again and I don't recommend it to anyone!

Far too expensive dishes for the quality and service. Considering that a main course costs just under €19, the size and taste was really manageable for a pick-up shop. If you're looking for a quick snack, this is too expensive and if you expect restaurant quality for the price, you're also in the wrong place. The toilets are dirty and many seats are not cleared away, so empty plates accumulate there.

I'd love to give a better review but sadly this was v disappointing. Had a chicken pita for lunch. Bread was kinda cold, not a great start. The chicken itself actually tasted okay but the distribution was rly bad. All the meat is on top and the veggies (apart from a few onions) on the bottom so at first it was basically just meat and then suddenly all you have left are cucumbers and tomatoes - see pics. Idk why it's not mixed but that would be so much nicer! A lil small for the price too.

Definitely my favorite place for the best falafel in Munich – not at all greasy and simply perfect! Plus the creamiest hummus in town. Almost every time I come to Munich from Tyrol, I have to stop there. Great location (I also love the other place in Lehel!), takeout/delivery is also available, and the staff is super friendly and attentive.

Recommended small eatery. Very tasty combination on the plate to fill the pita yourself. Funny decoration made of cauliflower and beer bottles :)

Food is often great. Unfortunately, ingredients such as pickled cucumbers were also out when it opened. Long waiting times and mediocre service even when the store is empty. It's actually a shame, great concept but then it saved on the employees and organization

Very good halloumi salad, roasted cauliflower was amazing, beef was super good. Chicken was so so compared to the rest of the dishes. Very simple space. Clean.

An absolute gem! The food here is incredibly delicious—authentic Lebanese flavors that keep you coming back for more. Every dish is fresh, well-seasoned, and made with love. But what truly makes this place special is the hospitality! The owner is always smiling, welcoming, and radiates such positive energy. You feel like you’re dining at a friend’s home. Highly recommend this spot for anyone who loves great food and warm service!

However, it should be mentioned that the location has now been changed and the pictures shown here are no longer current. We were really looking forward to a cozy atmosphere, but were unfortunately a bit disappointed. The new concept didn't entirely convince us, opinions can and will of course vary :)

Don’t be fooled by the google reviews/pictures. It is a completely different place now. From plates to the cooking quality, it has changed. I ordered cauliflower, which was almost not cooked. Hummus was okay. The number of falafels in the wrap was lower than stated. The tables gave more of an imbiss impression. The staff were kind, but as i said, it is just a different place now. Like a mcdonalds for falafel. They better delete google photos and some reviews.

Unfortunately a disappointing experience. There were six of us there and, among other things, Ordered pitas with 3 falafel and salad. Since no pita was available, the operator got our consent to serve small bread pockets instead - fair enough. However, we only got 2 small bread bags each with 1 falafel and a little salad per order, so a whole falafel and a good amount of salad less than ordered. This is simply outrageous. If alternatives are served, then the quantity of ingredients ordered must be retained. Unfortunately only noticed later, but the operator must have noticed it while preparing it. Not a good impression - we won't go here again.

Nice restaurant with Levante cuisine Recommended

I've had the store on my list for a while and now wanted to try out the new Schwabing location. The owners were very nice and friendly, the furnishings weren't quite finished yet but that's excusable. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the food. The falafel was okay but no better than any kebab around the corner. The chicken was rather dry. In addition, the side dishes were not particularly special, rather lightly seasoned and sparse and not as usual in other restaurants. For the price I would have expected more than a below average portion and taste. Wouldn't come by again and would rather go to more authentic shops.

Review refers to the new location in Schwabing: food sensational, service very friendly. But: the interior is unfortunately pretty bare, you feel like you're at the big M. What's more, because you now have to go to the counter to order and pay, at least the service is still served at your seat. Cozy is definitely different, especially when I think of the former location. It's a shame, but that can still happen - hopefully... Oh yes, we should refrain from increasing prices - the ratios are still somewhat acceptable.

Perfect experience at Servus. Habibi! I was at Hello today. Habibi in Schwabing and had a great experience! The staff were incredibly friendly, took the time to explain the food in detail, and you could immediately tell how much passion they work here. The food was simply fantastic – fresh, authentic and full of flavor! Every bite was a delight, and the quality of the ingredients really shined through. A big thank you to the entire team for the warm atmosphere and great service. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant!

Let's get started: I find no map and no QR codes annoying. Food: A disappointment for me in terms of taste. I don't feel like they're trying to be authentic - but even aside from that, it's just not good for me personally. Price: In my opinion, far too expensive for this type of “snack/restaurant”. Payment: Only cash or PayPal – I find that rather inconvenient. Conclusion: my first and last visit

Far too expensive, not tasty and certainly not authentic!

First of all, the service is really slow. There are no servers, one person is cooking, one person is serving and handling the other stuff. On the food side, the portions are too small, it is now worth the money you pay. I ate mixed plate which includes one falafel ball, a small halloumi piece, some chicken, salad and humus on the ground of the plate. I drank one small beer. At the end I paid 21€ which is not worth the portion I got. Not recommended at all.

The grilled chicken was tender and full of flavor, though the minced beef was a letdown - overcooked and dry. The interior has a minimalist, canteen-like vibe, with simple tables and stools, aligning with a casual, fast-food feel. We visited during the soft opening, and while the server was friendly, the waiting times were excessive: 20 minutes for starters and 30 minutes for mains. Worse, the mains for our table of six arrived at different times, making it impossible to eat together. This is a problem for a restaurant aiming for a fast-service atmosphere. The prices are also quite steep, especially given the casual setup and mostly vegetarian ingredients. Overall, great, tasty food with standout flavors, but the kitchen needs to improve its speed. If they can fix this, Servus Habibi has the potential to become a go-to spot for fresh Lebanese cuisine.

We had some meze in this restaurant, but this has nothing to do with good middle east cuisine. Not worth the price!

I have to say it wasn't tasty, very dry and they saved quite a bit on the sauce. My wrap was very dry, barely tasted humus, only had sour cucumber in my mouth. The fallafel balls were almost burnt and pretty black. We'll never do that to ourselves again. The service was very panicky and hectic… never again!

Eateries near busy central train stations tend to be hit and miss affairs but this one lived up to its (good) reputation. Quality was excellent and portions were generous. Staff were friendly and helpful. Were it not for the area, we would have happily stayed longer.

At the start of our visit in the evening we were told that some of the vegetarian dishes were sold out. So we were only able to choose between 2 vegetarian meals, some of which also contained "substitutes" because a special hummus was sold out. We had to wait 40 minutes for the food within our reserved 90 minute slot. I actually don't find the price-performance ratio understandable... to charge almost €20 for 2 slices of halloumi, hummus and salad is super steep, even in Munich... unfortunately we were disappointed.

Unfortunately very disappointing... the food and drinks were prepared and served absolutely carelessly. The dishes taste boring and monotonous, the dishes are totally worn out and chipped. It's a shame, because the concept would be really good.

Went because of the many positive reviews and pictures. Unfortunately, a real failure. If you've ever eaten real Lebanese, you don't need to come here. The service is bad, there was an Uber Eats driver in the kitchen who “cooked” the dishes. Carelessly prepared food on chipped old dishes, the bowls and plates were chipped at the corners everywhere, the baked flatbread was burnt, the parsley salad was only sprinkled with lemon, had no seasoning and was not dressed. The dirty, worn menu (printed piece of paper) speaks for the appearance/condition of the shop. The various dips taste like ready-made sauces and, apart from the red sauce, these are also used on all other dishes, so you can save yourself. Some dishes contain pomegranate seeds, but unfortunately you won't find them. Staff don't come after dinner. Attention, there is a sign at the entrance for cash payment, but it was hung with a menu, no card payment possible. Unfortunately, it looks like a “no-brainer” shop that, due to the many guests at the hotel, can only afford to serve each guest once…

i found the food quality to be disappointing. the reviews come as a big surprise to me. 4.5 is highly overrated. Lebanese restaurants offer something totally different. we were there and we were quite disappointed.

A great place to eat just a few snacks. Interesting mix between Bavarian service and oriental dishes. I liked it very much. It's certainly not the last time I've been there.

Small, authentic and cosy restaurant near the main central station

Fantastic restaurant for delicious Lebanese cuisine! Must know it’s CASH ONLY so be prepared. (There is an ATM across the street.) Reservations recommended & honored upon arrival. Great food & great service! Fun drink options (Basil spritz!) and we had some delicious entrees. Jerusalem Beef, the Dukkah Chicken (wanted the Harissa but not offered) & a classic sampler to start- delicious! After 5 nights straight of traditional Bavarian cuisine this was much appreciated & very delicious option that was recommended by a true Munich local.

The food here was delicious - there are also many gluten-free options! We didn’t have a reservation, but we were able to get a seat at the bar. Cash only.

Unfortunately the chef or the recipes must have changed. The portions seem larger than they did a while ago, but I was somewhat disappointed by the taste of the hummus, labneh and taboule - everything was just very sour. When the service staff pointed it out, they said that the chef thought it had to be so sour. It was never like that before... and I've been there many times. It's a shame, Servus Habibi was one of my favorite restaurants and was always special.

The place is small and was very hot inside. Gin tonic was below average and Food was not respecting the expectations. No credit card payments. Really? HEY, THIS IS 2024. Also, No ticket. Service was good and guys were friendly. Maybe a little bit overrated on Google 4.5

I searched the internet for Israeli cuisine and was happy to find Servus Habibi. I called several times. It was constantly occupied. I decided to go straight after work. With the Metro. It's raining heavily. I was hungry. I went in. A very nice employee was at the food distribution desk at the entrance. I asked the waiter if there was a place for me to eat. He asked: Have you made a reservation? I replied: No. Anyway, it was occupied. He said then it won't work. I was unimportant as a guest. Don't you want some takeaway? Or do you want to wait until something becomes available? Nothing. He turned away from me within seconds. Not you. That's how I understood it. I then went to AliBaba, where I am always very welcome. For over 20 years. Israeli somewhere else. Hello Habibi. And goodbye. I didn't like the treatment I received from the waiter this evening. Very repellent. I couldn't try the food.

Online reservation not valid despite positive confirmation. Seems to happen often. Staff waits until you give up and confirm that online reservations don't work well. A pity. Food is actually delicious, but no go if you make a reservation with guests and then have to look for an unplanned alternative on Saturday evening...

Ich war kürzlich im Servus Habibi und war äußerst beeindruckt von der Qualität der Speisen und dem Service. Die frische arabisch-israelische Küche war köstlich zubereitet und bot eine Vielzahl von gesunden Optionen. Der Service war schnell und freundlich, und das gesamte Ambiente war sehr sauber und einladend. Ich kann dieses Restaurant jedem empfehlen, der nach einer geschmackvollen und gesunden Mahlzeit sucht. Werde definitiv wiederkommen!!!!

I had lunch at Servus Habibi today. The food was very tasty, top quality and absolutely fair in price! The fresh Arab-Israeli cuisine was deliciously prepared and offered a variety of healthy options. The service was quick and friendly, and the overall atmosphere was very clean and inviting. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a tasty and healthy meal. Will definitely come back!!!

Super delicious shop - we always enjoy coming here :) The service is a bit chaotic at times (reorders were forgotten or arrived very late and only when asked), but everyone is super nice. The prices are normal for Munich city center. There is also something for vegetarians. You should definitely make a reservation.

Small but nice restaurant in the lively train station area! There are vegetarian, vegan and meat dishes, very tasty, with lots of fresh herbs. More oriental like Bavarian, but that doesn't matter 😉 Service is very nice and attentive, but you should definitely make a reservation because there are only a few seats. To go is of course also possible. Prices are absolutely okay for today's times, good value for money. The three of us really enjoyed it and enjoyed it, for me it's an insider tip from now on!

Reserved a table a week in advance and even got a reminder about my reservation in the morning but when I arrived there for the lunch the restaurant was closed and seemed to have changed the opening hours. Please inform your guests if reservations are not taking place.

Von den orientalischen Gewürzen war nicht viel zu spüren. Die Limonade war fad, die Nachspeise ebenfalls und mit knapp 7€ eine mini Portion. Alles in allem enttäuschend…

I last visited Servus Habibi two years ago during my stay in Munich, and I still remember it as if it were yesterday. The baba ganoush was simply the best I've ever tried - smoky, creamy, and perfectly seasoned. The potatoes were spot on with a light yogurt sauce that perfectly balanced the flavors of the dish. I've been dreaming about these meals ever since and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Munich. P.S. I need the recipe of the yogurt sauce, guys, please 😉💕

Sehr nette Bedienungen. Waren zu zweit und haben uns mehrere Gerichte bestellt, die uns leider beiden nicht besonders geschmeckt haben. Leider alles sehr salzig und total sauer, der Blumenkohl war schwarz und hat auch verbrannt geschmeckt und dafür fanden wir die Gerichte einfach zu teuer. Es fehlte irgendwie der milde oder fruchtige Ausgleich. Sehr schade.

Im fünften Anlauf endlich einen Platz bekommen. Mir wurde bisher immer gesagt, man könne nicht reservieren, dann hingegangen, “nur mit Reservierung”. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Die hatte ich nun. Dann steht an der Tür “Cash only”. Ok. Noch mal schnell zur Bank. Ich hatte mich so gefreut und war leider echt enttäuscht. Wir hatten die Classics Falafel, Baba Ganoush und die Haloumi Wraps. Alle drei Gerichte waren sehr langweilig gewürzt und wenig geschmackvoll. Service war OK.
