Cedar Lounge in München

Very good food, great service but quite expensive.

If it had a quarter star, I would have given it. The worst restaurant I have ever seen in my life. We ordered grilled chicken. It came with 3 small pieces with some rice and a little salad for 49€. 3 small pieces. It is not known if they were grilled or fried. From two colors to black, they were fried in motor oil. And all of them are bad treatment. For the Arab customer, another group, as if someone was coming to get rid of them. Everyone who does not have a job comes to open a restaurant.

Good atmosphere and decent staff

Had lunch at the Cedar Lounge, the patio area was comfortable for dining and the server was friendly. I recommend the chicken shwarma, it was delicious! The shwarma had a slight crisp that gave a nice crunch without the meat being dry. Really well done.

I do not recommend visiting the restaurant. It is very, very expensive. Check the bill before paying. They charge an additional 18 euros for the service. On top of that, the food is very ordinary and the price is very, very high.

We tried the shawarma and it was really good.Also the spring chicken that is charcoal grilled was nice.

Cedar Lounge offers authentic Lebanese Food. We tried chicken shawarma and charcoal grilled chicken both were really tasty 😋.Also for drinks try their homemade Mint Limonde which is really fresh. It is Little bit expensive but the quality and quantity makes it fine 🙂.

Really overpriced, checkin was good but with 32 euros!! We tried kofta was too bad and quantity was so little Not recommended

If you like real Lebanese food and happen to be walking around Munich, you can't miss this fantastic restaurant. Excellent in every way, including the staff that serves us every time we go and the friendliness of its owner.

Frankly, when I saw the comments, I was encouraged and went, but the experience was less than normal. The shish tawook was somewhat dry, and the fattoush dish was good, but the quantity was small. The fried kibbeh was medium and the scallops were also acceptable, but I did not find it worth the price paid.

The place is cool and has air conditioning. Thank God, the food is excellent. We ordered stuffed lamb, okra broth, tabbouleh, and yoghurt with cucumber. Then we went to Othmaliye and the mint tea was wonderful.

The place serves good Lebanese food, but I think the prices are high for the quantity

We went with a Lebanesss colleague and we have one of the best meals I've had in a while. They explained everything to us, how to order the food, how to eat and combine the food etc. Food was super good, I dont have any complaints and I trully recommend the place. Service was super good too. Prices where okey too, we had a lot of food and a couple of beers and It was 50€/person.

Anyone familiar with Arabic food can't give this shop more than one star. Very unfriendly service. Meat from the previous day was served. In addition, more money was charged than advertised. Anyone who has no self-respect can come eat here. Absolute impudence!

Food was very disappointing, not fresh and has nothing to do with Lebanese or arabic food in general we ate shawrma and boneless chicken was just heated up and served for us also very expensive for the low quality

My visit was thoroughly disappointing. the portion of kibbeh labanyeh was shockingly small as it was only three pieces despite the hefty price of 22.50€. Moreover, the waiter’s rude behavior tarnished the entire dining experience. Save your money and appetite for elsewhere.

Had a very nice meal here while staying at a nearby hotel. The atmosphere is simply wonderful - it has a beautiful, lovely interior that was quiet on a Saturday evening. The food is not inexpensive, but I felt it was fair for the quality of the food. It was 70 euros for 2 of us with no alcohol. Service was quite nice - they certainly will not rush you nor do they come to the table frequently, but I always felt our server looked and made eye contact when he passed by to ensure we did not need anything. Very nice find, would recommend!

Good Lamb sandwich and other Lebanese food were good . It was quite good standard of Lebanese food . The hommus and the vine leaves were very good . The people working are polite . However the time to get attention was a bit slow . Surely will come there again .

Ein sehr geeigneter Ort für Familien. Leckeres Essen mit alkoholischen Getränken. Und Shisha an einem dafür vorgesehenen Ort. Sehr nette Mitarbeiter.

Too little meat in the main course for the price...ambience ok. But service was good. Current addendum: yesterday I was asked to delete my review because I was allegedly violating personal rights. And people say I made it all up and wasn't even there. It's really sad when you try to get rid of bad reviews in this way. I sent my timeline to Google. Because I was there!

Tasty but to expensive for the location and ambience. Update on 13th of December 2023: My review got challanged from a lawyer. I think my comment is reasonable and don't think this is an honest behaviour for a restaurant regarding transparency.

Sehr leckeres Essen und freundlicher Service!

Es ist eine Freude hier Essen zu gehen, sehr frische Gemüseplatte, tolle Vorspeisenvariationen, mein Hauptgericht war vorzüglich. Besonders höfliche Bedienung. Preislich angemessen.

Wenn man offen für neue ist und auch ungewöhnliches (Ausländisches) Essen probieren möchte. Ist man hier genau richtig! Essen ist sehr gut und war schön angerichtet! Restaurant war sehr sauber und das Personal auch sehr freundlich! Jugendliche ( Mädchen 15 und Junge 16) finden sich unter den Gerichten auch leicht was. War nicht das letzte mal da! Freu mich schon auf das nächste mal! Sogar der Hund der bei uns Essensmädel immer dabei ist, hat einen schönen Platz bekommen und war willkommen!

Das Essen war sehr gut, die Kellner super nett, sie haben immer wieder nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Einfach nur zu empfehlen.

Lebanese is my “go to” when traveling because I don’t have to worry about translations and unfamiliar food. So when I found Cedar Lounge I was pleased to get outstanding food. The appetizer combo was enormous. The lamb kebab was moist and served beautifully with rice, a yummy dipping and roasted onion, tomato and pepper. Give Cedar Lounge it a try! You’ll be glad you did!

Wir waren an einem Samstag Mittag gegen 13 Uhr in dem Lokal. Erst im Nachhinein haben wir gemerkt, dass am Samstag erst um 16 Uhr geöffnet wird. Die Türe stand offen und wir konnten trotzdem bleiben. Wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient und das Essen war hervorragend! Ich hatte Chawarma Huhn. Das Fleisch war sehr saftig und gut gewürzt. Eigentlich bin ich kein großer Humus-Fan, aber dieser war super lecker. Alles war frisch zubereitet. Danke für die Gastfreundlichkeit und das tolle Essen!!!

Meine Freundin und ich waren heute zum ersten Mal in diesem Restaurant. Wir kannten die Öffnungszeiten nicht und wunderten uns, warum das Lokal so leer war. Da die Türe offen stand, achteten wir nicht auf die Öffnungszeiten. Erst nach einem Blick in die Karte stellten wir fest, dass das Restaurant am Samstag erst um 16.00 Uhr öffnet. Es war aber gerade 13.00 Uhr. Trotzdem war der Service sofort zur Stelle und nahm unsere Bestellung auf. Beim Servieren unserer Speisen entschuldigten wir uns für diesen Irrtum.Für den freundlichen Service war unser Fehler kein Problem. Wir bekamen frisch zubereitete Speisen und waren ganz begeistert!Sowas nennt man Gastfreundschaft! Fazit: In einem deutschen Restaurant hätte man uns auf die Öffnungszeiten hingewiesen und uns gebeten, wieder zu gehen. Wir kommen bald wieder!

Kann die schlechten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Wäre dadurch fast nicht hin gegangen. Speisen: Gemischte Vorspeisen (11€) waren klasse. Alles frisch (Tabouleh, Humus, Baba Ganush, ...) und toll im Geschmack. Die Lammspieße mit scharfer Tomatensauce (24€) und Pinienkernen waren fantastisch. Auch die eingepackten Nougats waren super llecker (wurde mir geschenkt). Service: Sowohl meine Bedingungen Ali als auch der Juniorchef waren sehr bemüht und haben mich toll beraten. War rundum zufrieden, positiv überrascht und werde gerne wiederkommen.

Einfach sehr schmackhaft und sehr frische Zutaten, Café ist Mega, frag nach arabischen Mocca, süßes ist der Wahnsinn…..

Einfach spektakulär! Ausgezeichnete Qualität der Speisen, sehr guter Service, die Atmosphäre ist für mich unschlagbar.

Das ist vielfältig und schmeckt super, im Raucher Bereich kann man dazu eine Shisha bestellen. Die Preise können aber etwas günstiger sein.

Todo muy bueno, por desgracia solo le eché foto a la mitad de los entrantes, no me dio ni tiempo!! Hummus increíble. Todos los entrantes estaban muy muy buenos, el plato principal era todo cordero, costillitas, trozos y el típico kevab libanés, con verduras todo a la brasa y su pan típico. Volveré sin duda!!

Hervorragendes Lammtatar. Die Portionen fast zu groß.

Eigentlich wollten wir wo ansers hin zum Mittagessen, aber hier hat es mir zum Schluss wirklich gefallen. Was ich an arabischen Gerichten besonders finde sind Gewürze, nicht so scharf aber gleichzeitig säuerlich erkenbar. Mir hat besonders humus geschmeckt. Der Salat Taboule hat nach meinem Geschmack zu viel Zwiebel drinn, aber so sind die Gerichte von Lebannon. Sehr sauber, schöne gemütliche Atmosphäre. Das Personal ist nett und die Menü Karten gibt es auch in Arabisch.

Gutes Essen und Getränke, schöne Atmosphäre. Der Vorspeisenteller war sehr gut, die hauseigene Limonade ein Traum, der Service war sehr freundlich.

Vielseitige, nicht alltägliche Speisekarte mit sehr feinen Gerichten. Vorspeise (Aubergine) wie die warme Hauptspeise (mit warmem Joghurt) alles hervorragend. Freundliche Bedienung. Schönes Erlebnis. Gut habe ich mich nicht abhalten lassen von diesen läppischen „Preis/Leistungs-Kommentaren“. Hervorragende, authentische Speisen, die ihren Preis wert sind.
