Sweet, authentic, Turkish Locanta in the center of Munich We came for breakfast and enjoyed it very much. If you know typical Turkish breakfasts, you won't be disappointed here. The breakfast platter has everything you need. There's also unlimited Cay and Ekmek. We spent €10 per person. The service is very nice and friendly. I'd love to come back

I go there at least 3 times a week to get my food during my lunch break. Absolute recommendation from me. The food is always perfect and the chicken drumsticks don't taste as good anywhere as they do here.

We went for breakfast. The mixed breakfast was really good. We are a family of 4, we couldn't figure out if breakfast would be enough, so we decided to add pancakes, but we found it hard to finish the pancakes. Sucuk and menemen were hot and delicious. (Only the tea was delivered to our room as we like strong tea.) The staff were very nice and we were pleased. I recommend it to everyone

The breakfast was a complete disappointment. Since when do people make menemen with canned tomatoes? (This is my personal opinion and not an assumption, or that's how I liked it). If that is the case, you should take the trouble to chop the tomatoes. Ben Böyle birsey hayata görmedim! Peppers were also missing from the menemen. In my opinion, Gözleme is neither homemade nor anything, it looked more like puff pastry from the supermarket. Yazik! In my opinion, I didn't even see the A of Anatolia in this breakfast. It is advertised on Insta that you can get Simit. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Instead there was bayat pide. Thanks. Of these 20 types of Serpme, there wasn't anything that I could describe as tasty. Peynir bayat, olives olivlik den cikmis. Have your mother eat something, a stepmother wouldn't put that on your plate. Cacik wasn't a cacik but ready-made kebab sauce, which is how I thought it tasted. Conclusion: Never again! Pictures speak for themselves.

The photo wasn't taken well, but what you get here for the price in downtown Munich is really awesome! Very quiet, authentic Turkish cuisine. Better than any kebab shop! The quantity and selection is what makes the store so special. Everyone will find something suitable for themselves. I put together a tasty protein bomb. I personally didn't like the köfte, but I still give it 5 stars because the overall package was good! I will definitely come here again on my next visit to Munich!

We were in Munich for a short stay and decided to have breakfast in this restaurant. It is advertised as HAUSHEMACHT...that's why we chose this location. However, we were very disappointed that apart from the fried egg and the menemen, nothing was homemade. Everything was almost counted out. Two slices of cheese, a slice of pastirma, etc... there was ajvar from a jar, ready-made kebab sauce, as well as jam from a jar. And that for almost €20 per person. It would be nice if you could add a little love. Another thing I really have to complain about as a woman is why the women's toilet is right next to the men's prayer room. It's very unpleasant...besides, hygiene would be appropriate in the toilet in a mosque. The staff, however, was very nice and accommodating.

The atmosphere is very rustic, but people were very friendly. I had a dish with minced meat and didn't tolerate it well. My friend only had vegetables and everything was great for her.

Homely atmosphere, friendly staff. Nice prices. I liked it because you can see the whole range and you can choose and fill your plate with the dishes that I like. The food is a bit spicy and lacks fresh vegetables and salads. But there is tea and you can order fresh juice.

We came for breakfast. Everything that was supposed to be hot was cold (menemen, sausage). It is a suitable place for those who like shabby places. But 40 Euros was not a breakfast worth paying. I was not satisfied with the food. The staff were excellent.

A really hidden Turkish cuisine restaurant. Friendly service, very tasty food that seems absolutely homemade. Vegetables like broccoli could be a little firmer, they are already very well cooked, some would say mushy. Ambiance is rather simple, but that doesn't bother you here. In warmer seasons you can also sit outside very well. How do you get there? Best to look for MUCA - the museum. Anne's house is directly to the left. Don't be afraid to take the entrance to the back and then the door on the left. Update March 2024: The prices have been raised quite significantly and are now no longer really cheap for the simple self-service concept. One star deducted because of that.

I would like to have tried it but unfortunately we spent 25 minutes waiting for them to clean our table and serve us and they ignored us despite seeing us several times. There were people who arrived later and were attended to immediately. I imagine that if you are not Turkish you are not welcome in this place.

Really great hidden restaurant. The food was really like mom's: extremely tasty and a lot! I can only recommend the big breakfast for two, you can really enjoy it. I just found it a shame that there was no honey. With the delicious kaymak that would have been the cherry on the cake.

We were there for brunch. The food was really tasty, only the fried eggs were a little too salty, see pictures. The staff is attentive, friendly and accommodating. We ordered the breakfast platter, which is freshly prepared and absolutely delicious, but unfortunately a bit more expensive. The platter with an extra fried egg is completely sufficient to fill you up (2 people).

First of all, there is a very weak environment. It looks more like a dining hall. Eggs with sausage was average. There were parsley stalks about 3 cm in size inside the cheese pancake. I wish you would take a little care. I wanted a plate of cheese for breakfast, but he said they didn't sell it that way. So, if you want to eat cheese for breakfast, you need to buy the whole breakfast set. The funniest thing was that although they served tea with a samovar to all tables, I was told that I had to get up every time and get my tea myself from the samovar at the entrance of the restaurant. (By the way, I had to do this many times because the tea glasses were very small)

The portion was huge and the price was very affordable. They also have Turkish bread. Great for vegetarians. It's essentially a canteen style restaurant where one chooses 3 dishes or 4 for fixed prices. They also had complementary Turkish tea. Super spacious dining hall.

Me and my friends were in Munich for Octoberfest and looking for a restaurant for dinner. I am full of joy when I find a restaurant which provides tasty food with warm welcome and very reasonable cost in a big city like Munich. This restaurant gives you option to pick from several dishes. Are you vegetarian or vegan? No problem at all. Its a self service restaurant but person who was filling our plate with our selected meals, was very warm and friendly. The way it works is very simple. You pick for example rice or bulgur, and 3 or 4 other side dishes of your preference. The server puts it on your plate and you are ready to eat. The meal was delicious for four of us. We left Munich with a good flavour on our mind. :)

Authentic Turkish cuisine for a very affordable price.

I am a big fan of Turkish cuisine and received a warm recommendation from a Turkish friend, which was a wonderful breakfast in a relaxed atmosphere. The delicious homemade lunch menu and the extensive breakfast buffet include our own creations and delicious Turkish classics. Friendly service and the enjoyment of beautiful Turkish music in the background wonderfully accompanied yesterday's experience with my friends.

You go into the restaurant and it feels like home. It smells like the name suggests, like mom's 😊

Excellent food, nice staff, very good concept: “Anne’s Bowl” is available vegetarian or with meat and makes it easy: the latter includes the choice of rice vs. bulgur as well as 1 of 3 meat dishes plus 2 of 8 vegetable dishes. Tastes great and is plentiful. We'd love to come back!

What a discovery! Set as a little cafeteria you can choose the tupe of meet, vegetable and rice or boulgour. Tou can add spice and yoghurt sauce at the end. It was cheap and sooo delicious!

Delicious lunch bowl for 12.40 euro - choose one carb (rice or bulgur), one meat (chicken or grilled beef or minced beef or beef/tomato/onion) and two vegetable sides (chickpeas, mushroom, beans, eggplant/onion/tomato, eggplant/zucchini. There is also an a la carte menu but most guests dined on the self service option. Their spice has a great amount of kick to it which is awesome. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. Generous portion size for lunch and tasted great.

A Middle Eastern restaurant, the food is below average, the service is very excellent, the place is modest (the shakshuka is all tomatoes and oil), and the rest is a mixed plate of simple and not fresh things. It looks like it has been chilled for a while in the refrigerator. Finally, the tea is very good.

Come here if you really miss the Turkish style home cooking, or if you have to eat vegetable food like us. But other than that, it can only be compared to an average restaurant in Turkey. The prices are not very cheap either, meaning 13-15€ for a plate of food. The fact that the upper floor is a mosque is an advantage, so you can eat halal food and pray at the same time. And having a bidet tap in the toilet is an advantage for a European trip.

Came here on recommendation from my husband’s friend (and now we no longer take any recommendations from him !!) The staff was EXTREMELY rude and had a very limited selection of food. You were basically forced to eat from the 3 or 4 items on display. The food tasted like someone accidentally spilled a kg-bag of salt on it while it was on display. Far too salty to eat! The bathrooms were filthy. The entire building was undergoing renovation and it felt creepy. Never coming back here again even if the food was free.

For example, you take a dish with meat, then you can choose the side dish (rice or bulgur) and then choose two vegetarian side dishes. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The price is okay too. I paid €11.80 for the menu with meat. Cay (black tea) is available for free. I think that's very nice.

When I came, I bought 1 meat dish, 2 vegetable dishes and 1 type of rice plate and the portion was very plentiful and satisfying. The extensive Turkish breakfast offered everything you could wish for, and everything was freshly prepared. The variety and quality of the dishes were truly sublime. The atmosphere feels homely and cozy, as if you were sitting in the garden shed at someone's home. This is a place where you immediately feel at ease. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for a unique dining experience in Munich!

It's self-service, but you choose your favorite ingredients from the show window and make it into one plate. Depending on whether you choose something chewy like Turkish rice or barley, meat and vegetables, or just vegetables, the price will change slightly, but you will have to pay at the end. Turkish tea is available free of charge. At lunchtime, people in suits working in nearby offices were also eating there, so I felt safe at the restaurant. It was a flavor that I personally loved.

As a only minus, tables for 2 people are not ideal for those who prefer mixed breakfast. It may be suitable for a breakfast plate, but unfortunately it was not suitable for a sprinkled breakfast.
