I went to the Main Tower Restaurant with my family. Unfortunately, the service was very inattentive – she focused only on the male guests and was rather disrespectful. We ordered drinks, and the dessert and the ambiance were fine. However, the glasses were dirty and the restrooms weren't clean. With a bill of almost €400, we would have expected considerably more.

We ate there for business, so I can't comment on the prices. The view is quite unique in Germany, and the ambiance was very pleasant. The view over the city at sunset was magnificent! There was also enough space between the tables for a comfortable, undisturbed conversation. The service was consistently very attentive. We felt pleasantly looked after. It wasn't at all intrusive, but rather experienced and well-coordinated, with a good sense of timing and attention to detail. The food tasted simply fantastic and more than we expected, but if you usually eat schnitzel or Schäuferla with Klos, you'll have a hard time getting your fill here. The wine pairing was very well-matched to the food and the individual courses. I would eat here again for special occasions!

My birthday dinner this year at the Main Tower Restaurant was an experience. It started with the breathtaking view over Frankfurt, especially from the platform at sunset. The unfailingly friendly and attentive service was wonderful. The food is beyond words. Every dish was an explosion of flavor, and I looked forward to each new course.

I found it a bit too pricey and the portions are tiny, even that it is the tasting menu. The food was very good, very artistic and service was very good, not too fancy. However, I would appreciate some local touch and use of more local products instead of constantly mentioning how their tomatoes came from the best Spanish tomatoes (where exactly in Spain lol) or some French vegetables or even more far away places. Wine by glass is too expensive too and wine pairing, consisting of 6 glasses of 100ml glasses is way too big for me, I would not be able to drink a whole bottle of wine alone.

Wir waren zu viert im Restaurant. Die Aussicht war wunderbar, das Essen sehr lecker und auch am Service kann man nichts aussetzen. Allerdings unterscheidet sich dieses Sternerestaurant sehr stark von anderen in denen wir bisher waren. Es gab keinen Beistelltisch für die Tasche der Dame, keine kleine Menukarte auf dem Tisch damit während des Essens alles nachverfolgt werden kann. Auch die Portionen waren deutlich kleiner als wir es jemals in einem Sternerestaurant hatten (und wir waren in einigen) und auch gab es keine Käseauswahl. Dadurch war dies das erste Restaurant, aus dem wir nicht satt rausgegangen sind. Und bei dem Preis sollte man nicht hungrig sein am Ende. Dadurch ist es leider kein Restaurant, das wir nochmals besuchen würden.

A great place to spend a couple of hours in a cozy and romantic atmosphere. In the lounge area, cozy soft armchairs with a swivel mechanism are arranged in pairs at small tables with a western panorama. It is better to book tables in advance, as the lounge only opens at 21:00. This is a great option for relaxing with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee after visiting the Old Opera or having dinner in the restaurant, enjoying the evening view of Frankfurt from above. Definitely recommend!

El sistema de reservas funcionó, pero aparentemente hay algún tipo de error con el campo de comentarios de solicitudes especiales al enviar desde el sitio y nuestras preferencias se enviaron como un campo en blanco al restaurante. Recibimos solo el correo electrónico proforma acusando recibo de nuestra reserva y dándonos la bienvenida. * El código de vestimenta y alguna otra información estaba en las preguntas frecuentes, que tenía que desplazarse hacia abajo hasta casi la parte inferior del sitio web para encontrar. The tower is really impressive from below. However, on Easter Saturday we had such a long queue that moved a meter within 30 minutes. There is no indication of how long an approximate waiting time is and no other information, not even on the homepage!

High above Frankfurt, you can eat like a king and be served like a king. But unfortunately very expensive.

It’s quite difficult to get here, but it’s possible if you have the opportunity to pay for dinner for 200+ Euros. The view from the window is worth waiting a while to book a table. Service 5+, food 100+. If we have the opportunity, we will definitely come here with our beloved again!

The service is absolutely perfect, the view, the experience everything is worth it but unfortunately the food is not that special. I would expect more from a michelin star restaurant. It wasn’t bad dont get me wrong, it just wasnt 1000€ good. Dubai, tel aviv and other cities with michelin star restaurants were just better food wise.

My husband and I were guests in the restaurant in January 2024. We paid €1,000 for a great meal, but were not allowed to bring our extremely well-behaved dog. This is completely understandable for us, certainly not everyone likes dogs. However, there was a family with a screaming toddler sitting behind us, which spoiled the entire ambience of what was actually a good meal. As a restaurant, you should be fair here and if a small sleeping dog is already causing a nuisance, families with noisy, ill-behaved small children should not be allowed to visit. Despite the actually good food, we will definitely not be coming back.

Die Vorfreude nahm am Vortag unseres Abendessens hoch über den (meisten) Dächern Frankfurts Fahrt auf: ein freundlicher Mitarbeiter rief an, um nach möglichen Unverträglichkeiten und besonderen Wünschen zu fragen, und gab Tipps für Anfahrt und Anmeldung am Fahrstuhl. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir rundum herzlich empfangen, die Bestellung unter ausführlicher Beantwortung unserer Fragen aufgenommen. Wir entschieden uns für das 5-Gang-Menü mit Weinbegleitung. Die korrespondierenden Weine wurden ausführlich vorgestellt, es waren schöne Entdeckungen und liebe alte Bekannte dabei. Die drei Amuse-Gueules stimmten uns auf das Weitere ein. Jeder Gang war ein Augenschmaus, liebevoll und so schön angerichtet, dass es fast schmerzte, das Arrangement zu beschädigen. Die Menüs wechseln regelmäßig, daher wird auf die Speisenfolge nicht näher eingegangen. Aber alle Gänge überzeugten durch sorgfältige Zubereitung und ein Zusammenspiel der Aromen, das seinesgleichen sucht. Auf das Menü folgten drei erfrischende und köstliche süße Überraschungen, eine Variation von Quitten freute uns besonders. Zum Kaffee konnte man aus hausgemachten Pralinen und Macarons wählen. All das hat seinen Preis, aber angesichts der gebotenen Qualität, der Freundlichkeit und Kompetenz aller Mitarbeiter, auch der Küchenchef schaute vorbei, und der ruhigen Atmosphäre (die in der Vorweihnachtszeit oft beschworene Besinnlichkeit fanden wir hier), haben wir ihn gerne bezahlt. Es war ein sehr besonderer Abend, zudem mit einem konkurrenzlosen Ausblick.

Disappointing service experience - far below expectations for a Michelin restaurant My companion and I visited the Main Tower Lounge in Frankfurt to celebrate a special anniversary. Unfortunately, our expectations for this special evening were disappointed, especially at a Michelin-starred restaurant where we expected outstanding service. The staff was friendly and the food was of the highest quality - the kitchen deserves its Michelin star. But the service left a lot to be desired. An entire aisle was simply skipped and replaced with the next without any explanation or apology being offered. Even the sommelier, who noticed the mistake, did nothing. Despite repeated promises of compensation, nothing has happened to date. We have addressed the issue several times in emails but have never heard back. It felt like we no longer mattered as paying guests, which was very disappointing - especially considering the price we paid for the evening. Such an incident has no place in a Michelin restaurant. We will pass this experience on to Michelin because a star should represent excellence, which was by no means the case that evening.

We came and were told that there are only two types of menus for 169 and 198 euros and no less. We We booked a table and came and found out that if we refuse, the money will be withdrawn anyway and we will pay, according to reviews indicated 80,90,100 euros, but not for one person 168 euros. We finally resolved our situation, thank God, but the fact that the menu does not indicate in detail that the price is either 168 or 198 and no less, to be honest, this is a lot for us. And the food is interesting and tasty, but for me it’s strange that from 168 euros and for some reason drinks, an establishment for people who can afford it

Tardamos un tiempo en descubrir que este restaurante existe, y solo porque un socio comercial estaba buscando un restaurante de alta gama en Frankfurt, pudimos cenar aquí. La entrada al restaurante no necesariamente promete una gran experiencia (muy oficina como) sin embargo, después de entrar en el restaurante esto se olvida por completo. Gran vista, gran decoración, gran servicio, etc etc. Los platos se servían 1 por 1 , y todos ellos estaban buenísimos. Creo que el chef viene originalmente de Austria, y aparentemente a veces se puede encontrar un toque austriaco en los platos. Todo en llamada, no es una comida barata, sin embargo, la relación calidad-precio proporcionada es grande. Volveremos al 100 %

The ambience was simply fantastic - a cozy, inviting atmosphere with stylish furnishings that made you want to linger. The lighting was warm and subtle, which made the entire room feel very pleasant. The staff was absolutely attentive and warm. From the first moment we felt welcome. The employees were always available without being intrusive and you could tell that they were genuinely passionate about their work. Every wish was fulfilled quickly and courteously. All in all a real highlight! We felt completely comfortable and will definitely come back. A perfect place for a successful evening.

By far the best location for a panoramic view of Frankfurt in good weather. At a height of almost 190m you have a 360 degree view of Zeil, the cathedral/Römer, the main train station and the financial district. The airport and Deutsche Bank Park can also be seen.

Excellent cuisine with a view. The Main Tower delivers a beautifu viewl of the city and some delicious molecular gastronomy, but lacks in ambience and service. The setting is a bit austere and does not have the opulence of some other fine dining establishments. The service is typical German: to the point. The dishes were explained well, but it was all transactional. If you don't order the wine course - good luck. Cocktails and other drinks were hard to come by - my sole cocktail was never offered for a refill, water refills were also rather slow. The pace of the dinner is very slow, one truly can relax and enjoy the meal over 4+ hours with the nice sunset view of the city. All the courses were expertly crafted and very good to exceptional. Only a few, such as the quail for main course was sub-par. It is a bit pricey and I must admit the experience, while very good, just didn't have the wow factor we were looking for.

Our expectations were exceeded! The ambience, the service and the food are a real poem. We chose 6 courses - every single course was fantastic. Plus point: the courses are served and explained directly by the chefs! Of course, the view from the main tower is also impressive. We will be back!

Service at the highest level - from greeting at the entrance to farewell. Prices are consistent with the quality of food and level of service. My first visit to Hesse's youngest star chef Martin Weghofer was wonderful. The view from the 53rd floor of the Main Tower was very beautiful, the service was discreet, extremely courteous and friendly. The most important thing, however, was the food. The six courses we ordered and the additional five courses served as a greeting from the kitchen were simply great. The dishes were light, fresh, modern and handmade, there was nothing to complain about. Lactose intolerance wasn't a problem there either. The kitchen team immediately adapted to it. A delicious evening in this special ambience!

However, I have to say that the price-performance ratio is not right in my opinion. For the menu price of EUR 169 without drinks for a 5-course menu, I have eaten better in comparable restaurants. I found the reservation procedures really strange: you have to provide your credit card details beforehand. If you don't come, EUR 507 will be charged. You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance. I'm not familiar with that and find it strange that a restaurant in this class needs something like that. The view of Frankfurt is gigantic. If you've had this experience once, that's enough in my opinion.

A good menu is like a good rock album. All the songs are variations on the same theme, but each one is awesome in its own right! This is the menu in the Maintower restaurant. The theme is Asian-modified delicacies from classic gourmet cuisine. Beautifully presented with playful but always appropriate details. Presented by a friendly and motivated service team. There is certainly nothing more to say about the ambience with a wonderful view over Frankfurt (and the surrounding area) at a height of 187m. A pleasure! The second visit also fully confirms the impression from the first time. Chef Weghofer is a master of composition, aesthetics and the perfect bite. And patience, as his dealings with an extremely impertinent couple at the next table demonstrated.

Ich bin gerne gut essen und war auch schon in verschiedenen 2-Sterne-Lokalen (z. B. im ebenfalls in Frankfurt ansässigen Gustav) und kann es einfach nicht anders sagen: Das war bisher in meinem Leben das beste Menü, das ich jemals schnabulieren durfte. Ein besonders Highlight ist für mich die alkoholfreie Getränkebegleitung.
