Maily- Asian Vital Food & Duck in München

Very poor food quality. The staff was very unfriendly. My sister can't tolerate anything spicy, which is what we said. The food arrived and it was as spicy as the garnish could stand. When we told the boss, she yelled at us to get out. NOT RECOMMENDABLE!!!

We ordered extra mild food because we didn't tolerate the spiciness. Unfortunately, we then discovered that even the food was far too spicy. The other food was also far too fatty. When we tried to point this out in a friendly manner, the boss reacted very unfriendly to us and even became loud. We were then told to pay for the food and leave the restaurant immediately. The day in Munich was over.

Been there a few times. Food tasted good. But now it's closed forever. Hopefully, something good will come there soon.

My friend and I loved it here, the food was really yummy and the service friendly as well. I already came twice and will be coming back especially for the soup with duck. The only negative thing is that it can get cold there and seating options are limited. There's just one corner table that's extra cozy.

They were so kind to our group of English speaking travelers. The ladies spoke English, German, and Cantonese. You can also ask for an English menu.

Terrible experience. Long waiting times, the waiter falls asleep while working, the boss is unpleasant and somehow can't get the job done, it also looks like it's behind the counter. The drink had 2/3 ice cubes and the food was fried to death. (40 minutes there, the drink came after 25, I canceled the rest because the boss hissed at me that it would be my own fault if I took an appetizer. That takes the longest 😅)

We had the vegetable tagliatelle & curry with prawns and neither the portion nor the taste was justified for the price. There were only 3 types of vegetables in the vegetable tagliatelle and they were totally oily. The curry with shrimp was just cream with chili, no Asian spices or anything else. Will not order there again

Extremely unfriendly boss - brought me the meal with meat and it was because I didn't order correctly ;-) I suspect that the meat was just picked out and then the same thing was served to me. I now have extreme stomach pain - I've been a vegetarian for 28 years.

The chef/manager is the rudest person I have ever seen working in a restaurant, and her food matched her demeanor - terrible! She screamed at us, a lovely couple who only spoke English, another guy who spoke little German AND a Wolt delivery guy - and this was LUNCH!

Unfortunately, the restaurant is not recommended at all. You feel like you're being treated there as a guest. The employees there were rather unfriendly from the start, then even got loud and threw us out of the restaurant after we had to criticize the food in a friendly way. The food was prepared very carelessly and tasted like it was ready. It's better to choose another restaurant if you want to have a nice stay in Munich.

Food was quite good, service rather unfriendly. After we ordered 2 passion fruit spritzers and mine tasted almost exclusively like mineral water (in the picture on the left), I asked nicely for a little more passion fruit juice, like with the other passion fruit spritzer (in the picture on the right). It was then explained to me in a rather unfriendly manner that the spritzer had to be so light and that there was a problem mixing it. When paying and making inquiries, the service was also rather unfriendly and created a tense and unpleasant atmosphere.

The duck was a joke for the price. I definitely won't come here again.

Good food (I had a red Thai curry), friendly staff and nicely decorated restaurant. I'd love to come back. But the easy listening music wasn't really my thing...

Was very tasty, very friendly staff/cook with a family atmosphere. The food itself tasted good. For €13 you get a lot. It was my first time eating Asian food, but according to my colleagues, they often eat Asian food. It was very good price and performance.

Whenever I'm in the area for work, I like to eat here. Quite inconspicuous from the outside, it's definitely worth a visit.

I order there every time. And every time the courier spills the Tom Kha Ghai soup. Why is there no solution here??? Change container? Or be careful? The courier brings me a soaking wet bag where more than 80% of the soup has been spilled, I call the restaurant and the unfriendly employee screams at me on the phone and DON'T EVEN APOLOGIZE? Hello, where is the goodwill and customer service here? She tells me in good German that I'm unlucky and it's not her supplier but from Lieferando? Hello? Are you still running smoothly? When I said I would give a bad review, she said: yes, go ahead! Haha owner unprofessional and unsympathetic. Unfortunately, you will never be successful like that ;)

We had a very good meal there today. The meals were freshly prepared. Small family-run restaurant with friendly service. The price-performance ratio is okay. We can only recommend it.

We ordered the fried duck and hao gao! Both of them were very delicious. A taste of home cooked food. Shout out to the mom chef! Two thumbs up!

I would prefer not to give a star. Have eaten there several times. During the Christmas rush, I asked to use the toilet for a fee. Answer:......we don't have a toilet. I found it absolutely wrong

We went for a soup and got curry ramen which appeared to be truly delicious!

A normal Asian restaurant. Duck noodles were nice. Those who want to taste Asian flavors in Munich can try it.

Das Restaurant beeindruckt mit authentischem asiatischem Flair. Die Speisen sind nicht nur äußerst schmackhaft, sondern auch frisch zubereitet. Trotz der fortgeschrittenen Stunde nahm sich die Inhaberin persönlich Zeit für uns, sowohl beim Service als auch bei der Zubereitung der Speisen. Ihre Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit haben den Besuch besonders angenehm gestaltet. Der Preis ist angemessen für die Münchner Innenstadt. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen und empfehlen das Restaurant gerne weiter.

Eines der bestes Phad Thai der Stadt und für ein schnelles Mittagessen Lokal total zu empfehlen! Immer frisch zubereitet, etwas pikant und sehr lecker.

Alles top, Punktabzug gibts nur für die etwas geringe Offenheit für konstruktive Kritik, auch wenn die Kritik nett abgelehnt bzw nicht angenommen wird.

Delightful little place with fantastic tasting food. We ordered the Tom kha soup and the duck noodles - both of which were extremely delicious. Great stuff and the food came out quick! Would recommend!

Not at all good Asian food - Dim Sum reheated in the Microwave this is the “Ping” you hear - Noodles just tossed in the wok no “Char” or cooking of the sauces in to the noodles as the wok isn’t hot enough - considering the proprietor's are Asians it’s pretty sad

Wir waren als kleine Familie am Ende eines München Tages in diesem Restaurant gelandet, es war wirklich mega lecker das Essen, frisch zubereitet und dafür hat es wirklich nicht lange gedauert! Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam, nett und schnell, sodass wir das Restaurant wirklich weiterempfehlen können. Uns haben die Portionsgrösse der Essen alle satt gemacht, Preise sind für die Qualtiät und Frische absolut in Ordnung. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort essen gehen, vor allem das rote Curry ist sehr zu empfehlen!

While visiting Munich... this restaurant is a must visit. The food is fresh...and very authentically delicious.

Dopo aver girato più di un'ora in centro (Marienplatz) alla ricerca di un ristorante che servisse cibo senza glutine (che vergogna!!!), io e la mia fidanzata abbiamo trovato uno dei pochi posti a Monaco di Baviera con cibo senza glutine, indicato anche sul menù assieme agli altri allergeni. Tra l'altro il cibo è anche molto buono e lo staff molto cordiale. I celiaci possono mangiarci :) For the other languages : Gluten frei / gluten free ? Super!

Local gem. Family run. Everything we ordered was delicious. Gluten free options. Reasonable prices and excellent service.

Great restaurant! The food is amazing, especially their duck noodle soup! I still think about the soup days after. The owner is the cook herself. Everyone is very friendly and the food is delicious. What’s not to like?

Just okay. Not value for money. Chicken egg fried rice didn't taste so good and gyoza had a very thick coating with less filling inside. Also quantity is quite less with respect to price(I'm claiming this with respect to other restaurants in Munich).

Meine Freundin und ich haben gebratene Nudeln mit Gemüse gegessen. Man merkt, dass es ein Familienrestaurant ist, das Essen wird frisch zubereitet und das schmeckt man auch. Super gemütliches Restaurant in der Innenstadt von München.

Das Lokal wird von einer Freundlichen Familie geführt. Die gestresste Bedienung welche von meinen Vorgängern beschrieben wurde habe ich ebenfalls erlebt, die anderen haben das allerdings wieder ausgeglichen. Es ist schön eingerichtet und zumindest bei mir (20:30) angenehm ruhig gewesen. Zudem war das Essen (eine Suppe und Frühlingsrollen) nach meinem Geschmack ausgezeichnet. Das Preis - Leistungs Verhältnis war bei zwei kleinen Gerichten wirklich sehr gut. Bei Hauptspeisen kann ich dies nicht beurteilen. Bei meinem nächsten Besuch in München komme ich gerne wieder.

Wenn ich leckere Ente essen will gehe ich zu Maily. Für mich eine der besten Entengerichte in München und die leckerste hausgemachte Hoisin Sauce die ich je gegessen habe.

Wir waren spontan auf der Suche nach einem Lokal zum Einkehren. Hier bekamen wir trotz fehlender Reservierung einen Tisch. Man war sehr aufmerksam und zurückhaltend. Die Portion war zu unserer Überraschung eine Wucht, das ist man von München nicht gewohnt. Und, obwohl es ein Gericht war, das man als "Basic" abtun würde - hier hat man das Maximum rausgeholt. Ich war, obwohl ich nichts erwartet hatte, geschmacklich sehr positiv überrascht. Die Tür schließt nicht richtig bzw. undicht, deswegen haben wir stellenweise schon deutlich gefröstelt, obwohl wir weit weg vom Eingang platziert wurden.
