Ich war nach einem langen Reisetag nur kurz für eine schnelle Mahlzeit dort. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam, es war selbst für einen Bergbewohner angenehm kühl, und das Essen war fantastisch.

Das Essen war sehr gut, auch beim Service gab es nicht wirklich etwas zu meckern. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ich war wieder dort. Überrascht, dass sich nichts verändert hat. Köstliches Essen, aufmerksamer Service und eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Ich werde ganz sicher immer wiederkommen.

Das Essen war hervorragend, das Personal freundlich und die Atmosphäre ruhig. Das Gemüsekorma mit der köstlichen Tomatensuppe auf der Mittagskarte war unglaublich.

Ich war am Wochenende dort zum Abendessen. Es war authentisch und wirklich toll 👍. Ich habe den Abend genossen.

Samstags zwar mega voll, trotzdem sehr guter Service und sehr leckeres Essen. Ohne Zusatzstoffe etc. Im Hinterhof ist eine sehr schöne Terrasse, edel eingedeckt.

Ich war mit einer Freundin zum Mittagstisch dort. Sehr gepflegtes Restaurant. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich habe Zöliakie und muss glutenfrei essen. Alle Speisen (außer Naan) sind glutenfrei. Ich hatte das Auberginen Gericht. Fein gewürzt und sehr lecker. Wir kommen wieder.

Wir waren heute schon zum 3. Mal hier und es war wie immer super lecker! Sehr freundlicher zuvorkommender Service, die Wartezeiten für das Essen sind mehr als überschaubar und meiner Meinung nach geschmacklich der beste Inder in der Umgebung! Ich habe mir heute eine relativ große Portion meines Essens mitgehen und ich bekam eine riesige Portion Reis gratis mit nach Haus und die Sauce des Gerichts wurde nocheinmal angerichtet! Super Service, den man nicht für selbstverständlich nehmen sollte! Eine klare Empfehlung in jeder Hinsicht!

Ein wirklich fantastisches Restaurant. Für uns bisher der beste Inder in Deutschland! Wir wurden sehr aufmerksam bedient und haben sehr lecker gegessen. Die Preise sind fair, das Ambiente ist traumhaft. Man fühlt sich ein bisschen wie auf einer luxuriösen Kreuzfahrt.

Einfach fantastisch! Sehr leckere vegane Gerichte, freundliche Bedienung und eine einladende Atmosphäre. Auf jeden Fall empfehlungswert.

Probably THE best indian restaurant I’ve ever been to. Delicious vegetarian options, nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. The TEA! Oh, my, the tea was the BEST. And desserts! Everything was perfect for us.

I will make plans to visit again; the food was spectacular, with some great vegetarian options and the service was excellent and super friendly. We even went for dessert, which is not something we often do. Highly recommended!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Amazing Experience at Maharaja Restaurant! While traveling to the Netherlands, we were extremely hungry and started searching for a nice restaurant. We decided to try Maharaja Restaurant and it turned out to be an excellent choice! The food was absolutely delicious and had the perfect authentic Indian taste, unlike some other places that serve mixed South Asian cuisine. We started with tomato soup, which was prepared in true Indian style. The chicken tandoori and lamb curry were both outstanding — especially the lamb curry, which was served in a kadhai with a small flame underneath to keep it warm throughout the meal. The mango lassi was refreshing and perfectly sweet. The ambience was beautiful, giving off a truly royal Indian vibe. The staff were very polite, and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend Maharaja Restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Indian cuisinen Germany 🇩🇪

This has just cemented why I don't want to eat out in Germany. Generally the food is so poor.. bland..lacks variety and just stodge. So, let's try a highly rated Indian, next to our hotel... This place takes no 1... Terrible food. Poppadoms out of a packet, Dall soup with lime in it... Who would have thought of that!!!... Definitely not someone who can cook! Moving on to the culmination in culinary nightmare....I had to slap myself, just to check I was actually in an Indian restaurant, yep looked like it... But why are you serving me a Chinese chilli chicken... Gluppy sweet chilli sauce.. disgusting.. Pointless waste of a night..

I visited the restaurant around 7 PM with a few friends, hoping to enjoy some light evening snacks—something quite common at that time of day. However, we were unexpectedly refused service simply because we weren’t interested in ordering a full-course or lavish dinner. This rigid policy came across as unwelcoming and left us feeling disappointed and dissatisfied. What was meant to be a relaxed outing turned into an unpleasant experience. I sincerely hope the management reconsiders its approach towards guests who wish to enjoy a casual snack without being pressured into a full meal.

They still exist—but their number is decreasing: Excellent restaurants like the Maharaja. Here, quality, cleanliness, and excellent service are paramount. We come regularly and now feel "at home." Please keep it up....

Very classy food for a great price. I just wanted a delicious Indian dinner around the corner and found myself in a very chic and well-run restaurant. The interior is decorated in an elegant style. Outside on the terrace, you can enjoy some peace and quiet. The staff are all very polite and accommodating. The staff pay great attention to cleanliness and good manners. The food was delicious, quick, and excellent value for money! I wasn't expecting such a "fancy" restaurant and felt a bit out of place, but that's more my fault than the restaurant's! So if you're looking for delicious, affordable, and chic food, I can highly recommend Maharaja.

I had an absolutely outstanding Baingan (Bengen) Bharta / Roasted Eggplant with Tomato. One of the best I've ever had. In the restaurant it was a nice change from other Indian restaurants that it was modern and chic. A little dark perhaps. The service was very friendly and helpful. I would come back at any time.

Such a good place! Usually im not a big fan of Indian food but my friend said to me it’s a very good restaurant. And it was!! Was so surprise, everything was so perfect, light but delicious, the service is really good. There’s two waiters, a woman and a man and both were so professional and kind. I will coming back soon!

Beautiful ambiance and very friendly service. The food offers a limited selection of vegetarian dishes, but the vegetable curry was very delicious. Overall, it was too European for me. What I would highlight is the green naan, which I had never had before.

Wonderful place, nice decor and friendly staff. For my British friends, it's not as spicy as you'd find in most Indian restaurants in the UK. I had the vindaloo, and I would put it at around the level of a madras in the UK, just. They give fair warning that it is European spicy on the website. It was, however, delicious and full of flavour. One thing that really pleasantly surprised me was the couple of bits pomegranate, it really worked well with the dish, inspired. I'm not sure I'll ever be back in karlsruhe, but if I am this place will be on my list of places to eat.

Really delicious food. Diverse selection of dishes and flavors, including something for everyone when it comes to spiciness, e.g. whether you prefer it spicier or not spicy; great quality. The two chai teas are great and go very well with main courses (if you drink tea) Very nice staff. You sit comfortably.

The service was discreetly reserved, yet as present as necessary. The restaurant is also very well maintained and attractive thanks to the cloth napkins. Nevertheless, an almost sterile, cool impression emerged. The cuisine has completely submitted to European tastes. Pakoras, samosas, chicken tikka masala, and lamb korma therefore didn't have a strong statement of their own. Only the garlic naan was great and went well with everything.
