M-Lounge & Bar in Mainz

At the Hyatt in Mainz I always experience moments that touch my heart. When I visited the day bar again, where Mr. Made prepared the cappuccino with his unmistakable signature, I once again realized how much attention to detail is practiced here. The cappuccino impresses with its creamy, delicately melting milk foam - a true symphony of velvety texture and fine airiness. This foam is reminiscent of the masterful coffee preparation in the vibrant cafés of Milan, the incomparable elegance of Alba and the charming enjoyment of Strassen (Luxembourg). The taste ensemble unfolds in a harmonious combination: fine chocolate and hazelnut notes, which are rounded off by a gently caramelized roast, invite you to a true pleasure experience - an experience that delights from the first to the last sip. This loving creation, which not only delights the palate but also the soul, gives a visit to the Hyatt a special touch. It is a place where tradition and innovation merge in an instant and enjoyment becomes a true art: I really enjoy being a guest here and I haven't said a word about the location, the service, the food or the extensive selection of drinks/wine/cocktails...

A very nice atmosphere. The cocktails taste delicious and come with a bowl of nuts.

They used to serve incredible Tiramisu Martinis. I was a little disappointed when I came back there and they were missing on the menu.

The M-Bar can be found directly in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency Mainz. There is a wide selection of drinks here and small meals can also be ordered here. The bar invites you to linger and there are many different, comfortable seating options. During special (sports) events (e.g. EM2024), large TVs are set up to watch the games. The service is very friendly and attentive.

Service was friendly, but unfortunately a bit inattentive. Unfortunately, the vegetarian burger was advertised as worse than it actually was. The vegetarian one was actually tastier than the meat burger. The fries were too wide, but still crispy. The prices are high. The ambience and location are special.

This location attracts a diverse audience, from business travelers to locals and international tourists. The relaxed yet elegant atmosphere promotes exchange and makes it easy to strike up a conversation and get to know new people. Overall, the Glashaus offers a perfect combination of culinary enjoyment, stylish ambience, attentive service, live music and international conviviality, making it one of the best locations in the city.

Not recommendable. Absolutely overpriced with poor service. Both the espresso and the water spilled a lot when serving or pouring. Not a word of apology from service. There was no milk with the coffee and unfortunately no one from the service responded, so you couldn't order more. We also had to wait a long time for the bill, even though there wasn't much going on.

Great atmosphere, very friendly, attentive staff

Very limited selection of bottled red wines - two out of three weren't even really dry. The price level was very high…

Very nice and, above all, quiet bar on the Hyatt Hotel property, right on the Rhine. Prices raised. Service was unfortunately bad, we had to wait a long time for the drinks despite the bar being less frequented, no questions asked when the glasses were empty, some of the staff reacted "annoyed". It's a shame, the atmosphere is great but I wouldn't recommend it.

Nice place to stay towards the outer part of the city. Have to take the tram to get to the historic part. Only four stars because in the dot of 8am the work began in the room above us, the noise of drilling woke us up and spoiled the stay somewhat.

Nice clean bar with a pleasant atmosphere. The drinks tasted good, but in my opinion they were still too expensive. A standard cocktail costs at least €14.

The service was super slow. It took 20 min before we even ordered and only had drinks which took another 20 min to get.

Wir sind gerne im Hyatt Mainz. Ob in der Bar, auf der Terrasse oder im Restaurant. Kann es nur empfehlen. Einfach schönes Ambiente verbunden mit gutem Essen.

Slow service distracts from a pleasant position close to Rhine River. Outdoor seating available for summer, but not enough staff to properly service this area. Drinks order took a long time to arrive. And when time to get the bill, this took even longer! Sadly, an opportunity missed!

Die getränke sind wunderschöng und leckeren,die bedinung sind und freundlich und das service ist TOLL.

Geniale Location. Super Ambiente sehr aufmerksamer Service. Trotzdem nicht aufdringlich und immer locker. Man fühlt sich hier sehr wohl und kann ungezwungen die leckeren Getränke genießen.

Das Hyatt an sich ist schon ein tolles Hotel, und selbst wenn man dort nicht übernachtet, sind die gastronomischen Outlets alle samt einen Besuch wert. Die M Lounge liegt in der stylischen Lobby, ist aber mehr als eine Lobby Bar, von der Atmosphäre her eher ein großes Wohnzimmer. Hier kann man entspannt sitzen oder bei gutem Wetter auch in den Innenhof gehen. Bin immer wieder gerne hier wenn ich in Mainz bin. Die Getränke sind top, der Service durchweg nett, das alles ist stimmig und gefällt mir.
