I really enjoy coming here! It just tastes great and everyone is super nice. And you can even get vegetarian food upon request.

Very tasty korean street style chicken and other delicious food. I ate there and ordered at home and the quality was excellent both times. Also very friendly staff :)

The food seems very greasy and quickly prepared (convinece food?). You can still work on the sharpness. Not suitable. Maybe I'm wrong and that's kind of how it's eaten in Korea.

Food was super tasty. I would have liked to swap the insert, unfortunately that is not possible.

The food was a 10 out of 10. Service was also great, just a bit stressful but that's completely okay when there are so many customers. Ambiance is also good but as already mentioned it could be a bit noisy because of the many customers. Recommend it to everyone, the portions will fill you up

Yesterday we were on vacation in Mainz and by chance found this little shop with Korean food and we were really excited.. Although it is small, it is still cozy, which is normal in Asian countries and the boss and his owners are also super nice... We got the Bao Bun Burger and omg it was delicious... Spicy-soft but good yet crunchy and juicy... absolute taste experience... We would even come to Mainz again just for that... Great class... nam <3

I was there for the first time today with my friends and I am very very very satisfied!!! We ate there and the food tasted great, we even ordered two more portions. The service is also super nice and friendly. We were often asked whether everything was good with the food and even whether the climate was okay for us!!! You really feel very comfortable there and get the best Korean fried chicken. If you are ever in Mainz, it is a must to visit Chimaek!!!! As soon as I'm back in the city I'll go there again🤗🤗🤗🤗

Whenever my wife and I are in Mainz, we go to Chimaek. Brutally delicious bowls and very nice owner. If you have questions about the ingredients or spiciness, they always take the time to explain. Probably one of the best Korean street food locations in all of Rhineland-Palatinate.

Very friendly staff and tasty food! Korean Fried Chicken and Gyoza are particularly recommended. The portions are so large that you often have to take the rest with you. There is also a 10% student discount, which I was very happy about. The restaurant is small and doesn't have many seats, but it has a great location in downtown Mainz and a pleasant atmosphere thanks to the selection of music. Since it's street food, you can easily take the food with you and eat it outside. Overall, Chimaek is a reliable and recommendable place! Everyone who was there can hardly wait to bite into a crispy piece of chicken again next time!

When I came into the store, the guys behind the kitchen were screaming and fooling around instead of taking a rag and cleaning the table. Food was a disaster. The bowl was sweet. The rice was sweet the sauces were sweet the chicken was sweet I thought it was a dessert. The rice was too mushy. The boys spoke in their language and made jokes. Nobody feels comfortable in such an atmosphere. A day later stomach pain. Don't go there

I was in a hurry and my train arrived in 5 minutes and my colleague conjured something up for me in no time! I can highly recommend the vibe and the food there! All in all, I can advise anyone who is hungry to take a short break there.

I had Tteokbokki Chicken (delivery). Finally good quality Korean street food. Super tasty, beautifully spicy and high quality chicken.

Great quality, I can't complain. For fried chicken it was great. One of the best so far and the baobuns were great! It didn't smell like fat, the chicken was really crispy and it was hot. Everything was good quality, I would recommend the store without reservation.

The chicken is hand battered and fried till perfectly crispy. You have a choice of sauce for the chicken to be tossed in, all were excellent I went for spicy. Will be back to try more soon. Great food and friendly staff.

Korean street food in Mainz. Simply awesome. Service 1a. About the ambience: typical street food shop. 4 seating options. So please don't expect a huge store. But that's exactly what Chimaek is all about. I can only warmly recommend Chimaek to you.

Very nice shop right between HBF and Schillerplatz. The food is fresh and super tasty. Last time I pocketed €3 less than the menu cost, I got a discount and made up for it next time. If you like Korean Fried Chicken, definitely stop by.

Das Team von Chimaek ist sehr hilfsbereit, engagiert, witzig und freundlich. Bei Bestellungen zur Abholung gibt es noch 10% Rabatt, wenn es Schwierigkeiten mit Lieferando gibt, wird man vom Laden selbst unterstützt. Die Gerichte sind durchweg super und frisch. Das Ambiente ist nicht so dolle - es ist eben eher Essen zum Mitnehmen und das lohnt sich!

Ich bin durch Social Media auf den Laden aufmerksam geworden. Es ist ein sehr kleines Restaurant, idealerweise nimmt man das Essen von dort mit. Wieso nicht liefern? Weil der Chef ein unglaublich sympathischer Mann ist, der einem hilft, wo er kann, wenn man sich in der Bestellung vertan hat oder nicht weiß, was man gerade will.

Ein sehr freundlicher Geschäftsführer. Er erklärt seine Speisekarte sehr gut und ausführlich.Die Speisen sind sehr lecker. Die süß scharfe Soße hat uns am besten gemundet. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Super leckeres Essen und Bedienung. Der Inhaber ist unfassbar nett und kann jede einzelne Frage beantworten. In der Stadt der Studenten einfach ein perfektes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Ich kann es jedem nur empfehlen

Von außen unscheinbar aber absoluter Food Hotspot! Jeder der Essen liebt und auch Chicken sollte hier mal vorbeischauen. Hat mehr aufmerksamkeit verdient. Auf der anderen Seite ist das lokal etwas klein für mehrer Leute die da essen wollen. Die Köche sind nett und auch witzig. Allgemein hat der Laden alles richtig gemacht.

Sehr sehr gutes Restaurant. Ausdrücklich wird wird dies vor allem durch die ausgewählten Lebensmittel, die mit den hausgemachten Soßen zu einem sehr schmackhaften und gesunden Essen Führen. Leider sind hier die Sitzplätze beschränkt was sich in Zukunft jedoch sicherlich ändern wird😃. Das zusätzlich sehr freundlich und aufmerksame Personal wie der Chef persönlich!!! Geben eine heimische und vertraute Umgebung in welcher man sehr gerne verzerrt. Klare 5 Sterne und an das Team weiter so 👍🏽 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Der junge Herr am Schalter war äußerst freundlich und hat mir , da ich zum ersten mal da war, alles erklärt. Ich mag kein scharfes Essen, und er hat mir 3 verschiedene Saucen vorgeschlagen und mich alle kosten lassen. Es war auch eine große Portion, ich habe die Hälfte mitgenommen.

Leckeres Essen, der Service ist aber bereits bei 4 Gästen überfordert und verwechselt die Gerichte und die Reihenfolge der Bestellungen.

Essen geschmacklich top! Und auch der Inhaber ist eine sehr herzliche Person: Ich habe mir eine Bowl bestellt, wollte aber kein Reis haben. Der Inhaber hat mir dann mehr von den anderen Zutaten gegeben, was ich so nicht erwartet hätte und bis jetzt auch nirgends sonst erlebt habe. Obwohl wir das Essen zum Mitnehmen bestellt und uns in der Nähe draußen hingesetzt haben, ist er nach 10-15 Minuten zu uns gekommen, weil ihm aufgefallen ist, dass er bei einer Bestellung das Ei vergessen hat, und wollte sich mit einem Freigetränk entschuldigen.

Sehr lecker und sättigend. Service war auch sehr gut. Ich würde es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Chicken Box und Tteokbokki Chicken hatten wir bestellt mit Süß-Scharf Sauce. Haben es nicht bereut.

Sehr leckeres koreanisches chicken, bei kleinerem Hunger ist es auch kein Problem das Kinder Menü zu bestellen auch wenn man kein Kind ist, was bei vielen Lokalen nicht möglich ist. Die Portionen sind immer gut voll meistens sogar mehr drin als angegeben. Der Inhaber ist auch mega freundlich und das Personal nett. Schade das der Laden so klein ist. Gehe sehr gerne dort essen.

Klein aber fein sagt man doch gerne. Kleines Restaurant mit hammer leckeren Essen! Nur zu empfehlen! Mit ganz viel herzblut geführt. Und alles Gerichte TOP! Mir fließt immer noch das wasser im mund zusammen! So lecker war es !!!!

Ich hab jetzt schon öfters das Tteobokki Chicken gegessen mit der süß-scharfen Soße und es war jedes mal ein Traum. Die Bedienung ist auch immer freundlich gewesen und auf meine Wünsche eingegangen. Auch wenn der Laden eher klein ist überzeugt er mit der Musik die dort immer gespielt wird.
