Good morning, Last weekend we ate different dishes at Lucifer with 6 people, we were greeted and served very friendly. The staff were really super friendly to us...I'll say it again because we were there between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., but Lucifer is only open until 4 p.m. on Sundays. When making the reservation, no attention was paid to the time and no phone number was asked, so the employees waited for us and we only found out at the very end that they weren't actually open. I thought that was really nice about the restaurant, you don't experience something like that every day 👍👍👍 Thank you very much, we would love to come back 😃 Great team, 👍👍👍

Nice and friendly location to celebrate, relax and enjoy. Maritime flair. We celebrated our wedding there ❤ Nine years later on our wedding day we visited Lucifer Travemünde! Still great. However, the choice of food is greatly reduced. Unfortunately there is very little choice for vegans.

Der Service des Luzifer ist unsäglich schlecht. Wir waren als Gruppe mit knapp 40 Personen für ein Abitreffen angemeldet, Start 18 Uhr, zugesagtes Ende 23 Uhr. Nachdem das hauptsächliche Geschäft mit Speisen und Getränken gelaufen war, wurden wir nach nur 3 Stunden - um 21 Uhr !! - hinausgeworfen!! Es gab diesbezüglich bei der Reservierung keinerlei Vorwarnung, was völlig inakzeptabel ist. Für mich ist dieses Lokal ein absoluter Reinfall und ich werde ganz sicher nicht noch einmal dort Gast sein.

We (my girlfriend and I) wanted to enjoy “breakfast in a beach chair” right by the water. We received the laminated A4 breakfast menu on the table twice. When ordering, we pointed out that we didn't want filter coffee and ordered two lattes. We received the information that we would have to pay extra for this. That was ok for us. The disappointment was that our coffee was a filter coffee with foamed milk. After all, we had ordered coffee with milk and not coffee with milk. Furthermore, the fitness breakfast looked very tasty, but it wasn't a decent whole grain bread. My girlfriend took the French breakfast. The bun looked like it was a baked bun. When we were finished we were asked if everything was OK. We said no and discussed the mistake with the coffee. We were then told that you could also order the coffee with espresso or double espresso, this was noted on the “menu”. When we told him that we didn't have these available, only the laminated sheets, the waiter left without a word. Another visit is out of the question!

We've been here twice now for breakfast and were very impressed. The ambience right on the water. Otherwise everything is very well maintained and the food tastes very tasty.

Great location at the old harbor, we have been here many times and have always received very friendly service. An absolute must for a sundowner while watching ships. In warm weather, preferably in a beach chair. But also nice inside. This time we didn't eat anything. But in the past, little things were always great.

Wrong opening hours!!!! Attention, both on the homepage and on Google it is written that it is open Monday to Sunday. On site you will be taught otherwise with a piece of paper!! There were other guests on site with us who had to travel over an hour.

Really a great place for what in our case was a very hearty breakfast on Sunday morning! Very tasty and rich buffet, lots of space, great view and in addition to all these very positive and good aspects, one must especially mention the great service! The employee was not only competent and friendly, but also just in a really good mood and you could feel it! We were there with a large group of over 20 people and felt very comfortable! Thank you for the great breakfast and we will definitely be back soon!

Apart from the view, nothing special, food was OK to good. Service was nice, except that every 10 minutes we asked if everyone was OK and if we wanted to order something else. It's annoying after the 3rd question.

Lucifer in Travemünde is always worth a trip. The staff is super friendly, accommodating and keen to ensure that everything is in order. I've always been there for breakfast, I can't rate anything else.

We wanted to have breakfast here this morning, so we sat in the back corner with a stroller because we could have peace and quiet there and no one could smoke next to my baby. The cellar came and told us in a derogatory tone that we couldn't sit here because the aisle had to be clear. We already felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. We then went to have breakfast somewhere else, where another table was pushed in for more space without us having to say anything. Apparently, according to reviews, another family with a child had the same rude waiter two months ago.

The same very friendly waitresses have been there for years, always with a humorous remark. My favorite is the Lapskau, there is no skimping on beetroot. At first you think the amount is clear, but then you're fed up. I have enjoyed coming here for years, at any time of the year.

We spontaneously registered for breakfast with 7 people on the occasion of a ship's christening, after the hotel where the ship's christening was supposed to take place had bitterly disappointed us (see today's review of the “Slow Down” hotel). We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed a brilliant breakfast buffet with everything our hearts desired. Many thanks to the nice team: You saved the date!

Very nice decorated restaurant. There is the possibility to get breakfast, lunch and cake. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Food was very tasty.

We were here for both Sunday brunch and breakfast a la carte. We were satisfied. One star deducted for the ambience because it was very loud on the 1st floor, windows. The concrete ceiling and smooth floor create a lot of reverberation; a few simple acoustic insulation measures would help a lot here. The beautiful location makes up for it somewhat. ;-)

Rarely have I been welcomed and treated so warmly in a restaurant. Our waitress immediately said that a changing table was available, held the doors open for me and the baby and was very helpful. The breakfast and tea were also very tasty, the scrambled eggs were a dream.

Leider war das Frühstück a La carte eine komplette Enttäuschung. Die Brötchen sind nicht frisch, sondern billigste aufbackbrötchen, das Brot war alt und hart. Der Aufschnitt nicht mal mittelmäßig abgepackter Aufschnitt. Es war wirklich der billigste Kram. Für diese Preise hätten wir viel mehr erwartet. Es war teuer und wirklich schlecht. Absolut nicht empfehlenswert. Dem Personal fehlt es an Empathie, sie waren eher neutral „freundlich“ aber alles andere als leidenschaftlich. Schade, was aus der Luzifer Qualität geworden ist, denn es war tatsächlich mal gut als es noch unter der Leitung von Herrn Schott war.

To be honest, we actually drive from Hanover at least twice a year just to have breakfast there. On Easter Sunday we were quite late, almost 2 hours after breakfast time, lunch was already served but we were confidently told we would make it possible and we still got breakfast, thank you very much for that ☺️. Very nice and attentive staff.

Been there for the second time now. With its fantastic location, the restaurant has the potential to be something very special. Unfortunately, so far both breakfast and dinner have been very bare and unloving. I would describe the quality of the food as mediocre, which definitely doesn't justify the price. I would still recommend it for a drink or a warm beverage.

We wanted to meet there this morning with a second couple who had already been waiting for half an hour with their 2-year-old son to be able to order. When we arrived we wanted to add a chair because there would have been five of us and the table only had four chairs. The waiter came towards us with a grim expression on his face and with a tone that made me stand there rigidly, saying that no chair would fit here and that we would be blocking the aisle. So people, no matter what idea your customers bring to you, you don't have to respond with THAT tone, it could be friendlier. Unfortunately I couldn't answer anything because I didn't want to stress the gentleman any more than he already seemed to be. All in all, before I could even sit down, this place managed to make me feel how unwelcome I was, for whatever reason. I won't enter it again.

Wir hätten gern das schöne Luziferessen , was wir in Eckernförde immer gern genießen, auch in Travemünde ausprobiert. Leider war ein Ausserhausessen nicht möglich, da kein Verpackungsmaterial da war. Schon nicht professionell, oder?!

Wednesday, noon 12.30 p.m. The two of us enter the moderately busy Lucifer, are assigned a small table and immediately receive the menus, which are nicely designed but are showing their age. I find the ambience of the restaurant to be clean and tasteful, and the view of the harbor area is a plus. My choice falls on "Grilled turkey steak with vegetables from the wok, sesame sauce and homemade potato rosti for €18.90." The service is very friendly, the food and drinks are served after a reasonable waiting time. The homemade Rösti turn out to be a large Rösti, crispy and tasty. The meat... If you take a closer look at the degree of browning, you miss the typical browning lines of a grill, so I assume it's roasting instead of grilling. The vegetables...are barely recognizable in a sea of ​​dark sauce; I find mushrooms, peppers, zucchini, onions and princess beans. The sauce reminds me of soy sauce both visually and in taste, extremely dominant on my palate. The menu mentions a sesame sauce, but the sesame seeds are only sprinkled loosely over the meat and vegetables. My conclusion: the price/performance ratio is imbalanced. Lucifer will definitely not be my first choice for lunch in the future! ....... P.S.: For information for those with walking difficulties, please note that the toilets are on the first floor and can only be reached via stairs.

A great address with very good and, in a positive sense, home-style cuisine for many years. Great water views. Unfortunately, it is currently only open until 3 p.m. on Sundays.

Arranged to go to Lucifer for breakfast at the weekend... My sister and I drove to Travemünde early to have breakfast there...when we were in the restaurant, the service person asked us if we had made a reservation...we said no...we had driven here on the chance. Well, then I can't offer you a table, said the restaurant owner who heard about it...the restaurant was really full...and the few tables that weren't yet occupied...reserved... But the service person said that the guests had just left and we could get the table after all. That's how it was...we were able to sit there...quite far through at the window on the right...with a view of the Trave... Since it was really very busy...and only 2 service staff served the entire restaurant, we had a good wait 1 hour until we had our breakfast... All in all, the waiting time wasn't long for us because it was exciting to marvel at the large ships that set out and maneuvered their way through the narrow Trave... I personally deduct one star 🌟 because I found the prices for the breakfasts to be quite high... The cheapest breakfast cost €13.50...but we just had the VAT increase of 19%...that wasn't what I had in mind... So breakfast or eating in a restaurant will soon remain something special... but that's a good thing... I just hope that all other guests continue to be loyal to Lucifer and the other restaurants around the coast so that they don't have to close... The breakfast was lovingly and very attractively prepared... although the quantity was very manageable on the plate, but I had enough coffee ☕️, which I thought was good... We would love to come back...

Das Essen und vorallem die Portionen sind wirklich super. Und die Preise für das Essen sind voll angemessen, trotz Travemünde. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Am Ambiente könnte man noch was machen. Der Standort direkt am Wasser ist klasse. Beim nächsten Besuch meine erste Wahl.

Das Essen war hervorragend, aber ganz besonders möchte ich den Einsatz der Servicekräfte hervorheben. Immer wieder gern ! Nach Feierabend im Sommer kurz von Lübeck nach Travemünde... Kurzurlaub vom Alltag im Strandkorb sitzend. Leckeres Eis, gutes Essen, nettes Personal und dabei zusehen, wie die großen "Pötte" die Trave hochfahren und am Skandinavienkai wenden und anlegen. Eines unserer Stammlokalitäten !

Mit der ganzen Familie zum Frühstück. Wunderbar

Wir waren zum Weihnachtsbrunchen. Die Dekoration war sehr schön Speisen in vielen Varianten. Salate reichlich. Fleisch, Ente, Wild, Fisch, super zubereitet. Verschiedenen Nachtisch. Es gab nichts zu beanstanden.

Das Frühstück selbst war gut und schmeckte. Nur von dem " Kaffee " der dazu gereicht wurde kann ich abraten. Er war zwar heiß, hatte aber kein Aroma, war sehr stark, aber schmeckte irgendwie nicht nach gutem Kaffee. Eigentlich schade.

Super Ambiente, direkt am Fähranleger von Travemünde zum Priwall. Leider ist das Essen durchschnittlich. Meine Frau hatte Magenprobleme nach dem Pfannkuchen, ich nach den gebratenen Heringen. Nicht wiederholungsbedürftig…

Wenn am frühen Samstag Abend bei der TW fast alles frei ist, sagt das schon viel aus. Alle anderen Lokale dagegen brechend voll. Wir hatten Pech mit einer unmotivierten Bedienung. Essenkarte (+ Wochenangebote auf einem ranzigen Zettel) kommentarlos auf einen Tisch gelegt, ebenso Essen und Getränke wortlos gebracht und abgeräumt. Keine Zwischenfrage, ob alles ok ist oder es geschmeckt hat. Essen und Getränke waren ok, Speisenangebot eher übersichtlich. Schade, in der Lage wünscht man sich ein anderes Erlebnis. Es gäbe noch mehr zusagen, aber gut. Wir wollten schon lange mal hin, kommen aber wohl nicht mehr wieder.

Verzehr im Restaurant Leider waren wir sehr enttäuscht. 3 von 4 Essen waren nicht gut für unsere Bedürfnisse. Der Fisch war anscheinend aufgetaut, und hatte dadurch keine Struktur - eher Breiartig und geschmacklos! Das Rösti war ein Fertigprodukt was einem industriellem Kartoffelpuffer entsprach. Der Bacon auf dem Hamburger wurde vergessen, die Pommes nicht fertig durchfritiert. Grünkohl süß. Hier wurde Salz mit Zucker ersetzt. Umgang mit Kritik war unausreichend, da noch hungrig das Lokal verlassen wurde, da hilft das Angebot ein Schnaps aufs Haus nicht wirklich ! Ambiente in Ordnung, wir haben toll gesessen und getrunken. Aber zum Essen kommen wir nie wieder!

Wir fühlten uns im Luzifer sehr wohl! Das Essen war sehr lecker und unsere Bedienung 1A. Wir waren mit unseren Kids dort und die Zeit zwischen den Mahlzeiten verging wie im Flug. Wir kommen wieder und können das Restaurant auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

Schönes großes Lokal direkt am Wasser mit gutem Blick. Unsere Bedienung Milena war sehr nett. Der Kaiserschmarrn ist sehr empfehlenswert. Preislevel eher höher aber wahrscheinlich der Gegend geschuldet. 3 Parkplätze stehen kostenfrei zur Verfügung was durchaus ein Vorteil ist.

Wir waren sehr überrascht in so einer exklusiven Lage ein Restaurant zu entdecken das neben wirklich leckerem Essen (Schnitzel Gerichte und der Holsteiner Pfannkuchen waren fantastisch) zu vernünftigen Preisen auch noch super freundlichen Service und lokales Bier anbietet. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wir waren außerhalb der Saison am späten Nachmittag dort Gäste. Ein zuvor angelaufenes Restaurant hatte geschlossen, daher sind wir Kind Luzifer. Das Ambiente ist offen und weitläufig mit dunklem Mobiliar. Die Karte ist riesig und sehr vielfältig. Wir wurden nach dem CheckIn zu unserem Platz geführt. Die Servicekraft war von der Tür bis zum Bon aufmerksam und freundlich. Unsere Wahl fiel auf zwei unterschiedliche Fischgerichte, beide waren geschmacklich top und von der Menge üppig. Hier gab es sogar selbstgebrautes Bier und eigens gerösteten Kaffee. Eine wahre Wundertüte der Betrieb.

Wir kennen das Luzifer in Travemuende schon seit 15 Jahren und waren das erste mal seit ueber 10 Jahren wieder dort. Das Essen ist weiterhin gut ( Man sollte hier keine gehobene Kueche erwarten, aber das was sie anbieten, machen sie gut ). Zu unserer Ueberraschung war das Essen nicht nur sehr excellent, sondern auch noch sehr viel, so dass man mehr als satt werden konnte. Oben drauf gab dann noch die sehr freundliche Bedienung und den schoenen Blick auf die Trave, wo passender Weise dann auch noch eine grosse Faehre vorbei fuhr. Gerne wieder hier.

Das Luzifer liegt schön am Wasser. Gastfreundschaft geht aber anders. Zunächst wurden wir sehr hart angegangen, dass nur sehr ungern auf der Terrasse bedient wird, da es nur 2 Bedienungen gibt. Die Krabben mit Ackerkartoffeln waren für 17.90€ sehr spärlich über den Teller verteilt, der Rinderburger war hingegen geschmacklich gut, wenngleich nicht nach der Garstufe gefragt wurde. Das ist heute Standard! Der Steakteller war von der Zusammenstellung her gut, allerdings wurde auch hier nicht nach der Garstufe gefragt und die Kräuterbutter wurde vergessen. Für ein Saftschorle 0,4 Liter 5,90€ zu verlangen ist grenzwertig. In Summe überzeugt uns diese Location nicht wirklich- vielleicht wäre es mit mehr Servicekräften anders verlaufen.

Grundsätzlich waren wir ganz zufrieden mit dem Besuch. Gastfreundschaft geht zwar anders, aber das ist wohl das Hamburger Temperament. Zum Essen: Wer Burger mag der kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten- Top Fleisch! Das Brötchen war zwar "naja-köstlich" aber im Großen und Ganzen Super lecker. Putenschnitzel war ebenfalls Ok, es fehlte aber das "gewisse Etwas"... Die Kinder Menüs waren aber grandios- meine Mädels waren begeistert. Fazit: empfehlenswert und ich komme gerne wieder. Vielleicht erwärmt sich ja die Gastfreundschaft mit dem warmen Wetter

Schön das die Außengastronomie wieder geöffnet war so bestellte ich den Fischteller der zu den teuersten Gerichten gehört. Das war allerdings kein Frisch-Fisch und die Hälfte davon schwamm im Fett. Der (doppelte) Espresso war durchschnittlich. Der Service war aufmerksam, das Ambiente top mit Aussicht auf den Hafen und das flanierende Volk. Sicher kein Gourmettempel, aber OK. Man zahlt eher für die Lage als für das Essen.

Schmaler Eingang mit Stufe, die man jetzt mit Maske nicht wahrnimmt und schon schlägt man lang hin, ohne dass die Bedienung Notiz davon nimmt. Verstehe das Ordnungsamt nicht, dass es so einen gefährlichen Eingangsbereich überhaupt genehmigt!!!

Unser Ausflug ins Luzifer war der letzte Besuch unseres Urlaubs weswegen es ein besonderer sein wollte. Genau das war er auch. Extrem freundliche und sympathische Bedienung; ein einmaliger Blick auf den Travemünder Hafen; phantastisches Essen. Gut proportionierte Portionen die sehr lecker angerichtet waren und vor allem auch sehr gut geschmeckt haben. Sehr zu empfehlen.
