The shawerma wrap is mainly a salad wrap and it barely includes a 5% uncooked chicken and the rest is just salad Would be a nice sandwich if I just wanted to order a salad sandwich 😅 Also the service is poor. It seems they never heard about greating the customer with "hello, good afternoon. What can I get for you ?".

This is the best shawarma and falafel I've ever tried. Previously, Ive had middling experiences with middle eastern food trying restaurants in the US of A; however these two experiences at Luxa has changed my mind. The plate is filled to the brim with fresh hummus, salad, juicy/flavorful chicken. The flavors combine so well. The falafel is made fresh from beautiful green balls of bean and fried to a crispy exterior and soft, warm interior. I'll be back !

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I can highly recommend my favorite kebab restaurant! It's the perfect place for a quick and tasty lunch break. The prices are super fair, and the food is always fresh and delicious. I would particularly like to highlight the warm hospitality of the owners - they are incredibly nice and make you feel at home straight away. It's nice to see how much love they put into their restaurant! Another plus point is the option to pay by card, which makes payment super convenient. All in all just great! I can't wait to go back!

The food was the main point and did not disappoint in any way, top quality, delicious to get into the biksen. Although you would think that it was mainly some shawarma and kebab that should be good here, they managed to make a pizza that could compare with real Italian restaurants😩😩😁🥰

Tasteless and the unfriendly service ever. Wanted to cheat by several euros when billing. Special requests were not taken into account and the sauce was only on top of the sandwich, the rest was just cold fried vegetables.

I went because of the good reviews. Big mistake, the food was cold, old, tasteless sauce and thrown carelessly. My requests about what shouldn't be in the food were ignored and shrugged off when spoken to. I was also charged several euros too much. Pay attention to your bill!

We were very pleasantly surprise by the food here and the friendly people who work here. It was the only thing open this late in the morning. They are open until five am in the morning. Plenty of seating areas inside and out. The chicken shawarma was very juicy and not dried out. The prices are very reasonable. In fact, they are the cheapest I've seen in Berlin so far. There are a lot of drink options here. They even have a full bar with alcohol. They have bathrooms here, however, they are very tiny and not too clean. I would definitely come back here and try other things On the menu. - The Laughing Lion on Youtube 🦁

Expensive prices for average food. Should pay as much for a vegetarian plate that is not on the menu as for the one with meat. (15€) “There’s nothing you can do.” The iced tea wasn't on the menu either and was more expensive than all the other drinks. “You just can’t put everything on the map.” There are many much better shops in Berlin.

The chicken kebab was legendary, the staff were very respectful and friendly, the atmosphere was 10 out of 10.

Incredibly dry wraps - ask for extra sauce if you come here. Good beer selection though

kebab was good, what disappointed me was the service. The kebab was 7.5 and I gave the guy a 10e bill. He saw I was playing chess on my phone and gave me a 50c coin and kept saying "It's ok, it's ok" and I stared at him and told him I gave him a 10 and then he pulled out a 2e coin. No apology whatsoever. It could've been a mistake but I got a strong feeling he was trying to rip me off.

They’re trying to chest on you. Falafel durum and cola 11€? I came here twice and twice it was too spicy. Don’t recommend! Avoid this place

The quality is great. Everything is fresh, the place is super clean, but… was the smaller halloumi-makali I ever ate . What I love of these places is that you never stay hungry, but here yes. So sorry, but I must be honest, was disappointing. Also, the sauces were not the best, the vegetables were unsalted, so 3 stars is ok.

The shawarma didn't convince me. Although the meat is very good, the sauces (apart from the hot one) lack pizzazz and a shawarma simply tastes better with thin Arab-style flatbread or pita bread than with the medium-thick wheat pita bread used there. The sellers are friendly, clearly 5 stars. However, the men's toilet was a significant minus.

Shawarma wasn't shawarma. Service consisted of "ey!..." or "sorry!..." and strangely enough, when you asked for card payment, it was emphasized again that cash would be better... Hmm, why?!

The kebab is very tasty, cheap, and, what I really appreciate personally, the sauce is ubiquitous, not only at the beginning. The service was friendly and the dish was served very quickly. Very fresh products.

We had gemüse schawarma and halloumi plate and both were so delicious! Service was so fast and staff was so friendly, especially Menderes helped us a lot! Highly recommended!

Sorry, but unfortunately that has little to do with a shawarma... the meat doesn't have the typical shawarma taste at all, but tastes like normal chicken kebab meat and unfortunately it's not even tasty. Then shawarma in a pita and without pickles? So it definitely didn't suit my taste and the sandwich also costs €7. In other shawarma restaurants, a better quality shawarma sandwich costs a maximum of €4.

The service is very rude and snaps at you for no reason and the food is on the lower level, no real nuances and two pieces of cucumber and tomato with a lot of very tasteless sauce. There's a sticker on the door saying that card payments are possible, but of course that's not the case. The waitress also “accidentally” calculated the order incorrectly (more expensively). No recommendation.

Das Problem ist, dass sie mir damals nicht einmal einen Scheck gegeben haben und ich bar bezahlt habe. Ich vermute, dass alle negativen Bewertungen mit Hilfe dieser Firma entfernt werden - schließlich ist dies die einzige Firma, für die dieser Betrieb Geld ausgibt. Es wäre besser, wenn sie es für die Verbesserung der Qualität ihrer Produkte ausgeben Ekelhaftes Essen, schrecklicher Service. Wir gaben eine Bestellung auf, 10 Minuten später ging ich hinauf, um herauszufinden, wo sie war, und sie sagten mir, dass sie vergessen hätten, sie aufzugeben. Obwohl ich direkt vor ihnen saß und sie sahen, dass wir ohne Essen saßen und warteten. Der Döner selbst ist geschmacklos, schlechtes und trockenes Fleisch, geschmackloses Gemüse. Updated review: I have received a takedown notice in 2024 for my review I wrote about this place 7 (!) years ago, as a representative for this establishment claims I was never there or that they can’t remember me being there (how would they, I mean, I don’t enter a place announcing my full name and then proceed to order…). Looking at the many negative reviews here, I’m assuming this is a tactic to adjust ratings for the better. About the establishment and the food: the staff wasn’t overly friendly and the food wasn’t that good, so I never went here again.

Betes food in Berlin, the boss and the employees are very friendly and the portions are very large. I always enjoy coming there.

Good shawarma, not unreasonable price tag but there are better value/money shawarmas out there. The veggies and tahini/humus aren’t a part of their shawarma interpretation, so I’d stick with falafel/traditional kebab, where you basically get the same for less $. Edit: I just received a legal threat from their lawyer to remove my review on the basis that I could not prove that I've been a customer at this place. Seems they worry more about suing reviewers than adding humus to their shawarma...

Ich habe ein schawerma dürum bestellet und was ich bekommen habe war ein Salat dürum mit schawerma Geschmack Aber der man mit demm Glatze ist sehr nett

Schlechte Qualität. Achtung! Immer nach frischem Fleisch vom Spieß fragen, nicht was dort schon 30 Minuten rumliegt aufgrund geringer Kundschaft. Und das Gemüse war ungenießbar. Update (5 Jahre später): man versucht mich Mundtot zu machen mit Drohungen von Anwälten. Hier wird nichts gelöscht. Als ich damals dort gegessen habe, war es genau so wie ich es beschrieben habe. Man kann mich aber gerne nett fragen ob ich dem Laden eine zweite Chance geben könnte aufgrund von Qualitätsverbesserungen.

Edit: don't trust the reviews, this place sends their lawyers after anyone who dares voicing an honest opinion. Sadly not as good as it used to be. Prices doubled, portions halved, sauces watered down and the meat lost most of its flavor. Too bad, I used to love this place.

Das Halloumi Dürüm war nicht so gut. Halloumi an sich hat super geschmeckt aber sehr wenig Gemüse und der Teig schmeckte irgendwie komisch. Die Rolle war sehr dünn und man schmeckte vor allem nur den Teig. Auch die Sauce war sehr wässerig. Sehr schade für die Preis.

DON'T GO THERE! We got scammed by the staff there just because my girlfriend doesn't speak German. The guy just charged her more just because she seemed like she's not from Berlin, horrible. NICHT HINGEHEN! Wir wurden über den Tisch gezogen. Nur weil meine Freundin kein Deutsch spricht, hat die Bedienung uns mehr bezahlen lassen, als Sie zum Bezahlen ging. Unehrlicher geht es nicht.
