LUTHER „Haus im Bergwinkel“ in Schlüchtern

I was there again after a long absence. I ordered the dish of the day. It was supposed to be quick, but it took half an hour. It can happen. When I got the food, it looked a bit odd. Dandelion on top...not quite right. And then, as you can see, the spaetzle wasn't homemade. Not bad, but it should have been tasty. The tart was bland, and worst of all, it smelled totally burnt. I don't give that to customers! The goulash wasn't good either. I had three bites, and there were three sprigs of what the chef said were thyme. It didn't fit at all. Especially since I'm already seasoning it so much, I'll just take the sprigs out. Otherwise, it would lack a lot of flavor. I got my money back from the service. Hence the four stars for the service. I probably won't be eating there again anytime soon.

Cozy inn with friendly service and delicious food. This time we treated ourselves to the Europa Platter for two people, which was again very good.

We ate here twice during our vacation. We really enjoyed it; the food was excellent, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. Excellent value for money. I can definitely recommend the restaurant.

We called specifically to confirm whether the restaurant was open. The answer was yes. At 7:15 p.m., both the restaurant was closed and the owner couldn't be reached by phone.
