We ate with the family (16 people) today on Easter Sunday. Even when ordering the dishes, the service made a very incompetent impression. She didn't know the answer to questions like "What soup of the day do you have or can I have extra sauce?" and after a long "Ehmmm" she countered with "It'll be fine or I don't know". She also wrote down each meal separately, even with multiple choices, which made everything seem very disorganized. And how could it be otherwise, a salad, a soup and a dish were missing. We ordered salmon, which finally came after everyone else had finished. Well, mistakes happen and until then everything was fine for us. After dinner my grandpa paid. Payment is only possible in cash, which is very disadvantageous for Schlüchtern. Anyway, we looked at the bill and noticed that we were charged for 17 meals. How can that be with 16 people? Finally we wrote the names of all the dishes and realized that there really was one dish too many. I went to the checkout with my grandfather and kindly pointed out. They didn't even look at our request, but instead rolled their eyes, tore the piece of paper out of their hands and rejected it with "That can't be right!" You can calculate what we paid for 16 people there and then come up with such a cheeky answer. I've never experienced anything so unfriendly. I explained to her that there were only 16 of us and that it wasn't that we got 17 dishes. I was then told that we had reordered food. I explained to her that the salmon didn't come, which was reordered, but three loins were charged even though only two loins came. We were then actually insinuated that we might have eaten a dish as a starter or split it, as it would definitely have gone out. I told her "Look at the piece of paper, we have written the names of all the dishes and I can also draw the table for you and write down all the corresponding dishes. There was definitely one dish that was overcharged". She then went into the kitchen with the note and argued loudly there. After a few minutes she came back from the kitchen with the notes and told me that no food is too much. I told her that I would now draw the table for her and take the pieces of paper from the kitchen to check. Mind you, the discussion had been going on for half an hour about a dish for €22.50. I myself am from the catering industry. I've had this discussion several times as a waitress, because as mentioned above, mistakes happen. However, my boss would have ended this discussion after 5 minutes and filed a lawsuit. In addition, for the inconvenience, especially because the salmon had already been forgotten, we were given an espresso, a scoop of ice cream or a shot of schnapps. But here we only heard cheeky answers and discussions! Such disgraceful service. None of us go there anymore and we will definitely share this! So I mapped out the table and wrote down all the food when the boss finally came to the table and brushed off our request with snarky answers. She is probably in the kitchen and claims that she has definitely given out three loins. I politely explained to her that a table with us received food at the same time and the loin may have been brought there. Here they said “We’ll end the whole thing now, you get the money”. No insight, no understanding. If someone with sense had looked at our topic, they would have noticed that 17 dishes cannot be billed for 16 people. You could also have counted the plates. Instead, when we returned our money, we were insulted in a different language. Absolutely not recommended!

The first time I ordered Pleskavica and it was OK. On the second visit I waited in vain for the Cevapcici for 45 minutes and left because I had tickets for an event. I won't go here a third time.

The baked ‘soft cheese’ was from the freezer. Ordered Hefeweizen, got Kristallweizen. Luckily I was just passing through.

Top Croatian food, but there are also the classic schnitzels on the menu. As a nightcap there were traditional Croatian schnapps. Another highlight was that the Kreuzberger Klosterbier, the best beer around, was on offer.

I only rate it with one star because it was not possible to give zero stars. We arrived at 1:30 p.m. and wanted to have a leisurely meal, but were rudely turned away. The waitress showed no interest and made it clear to us. Therefore we cannot rate the food, only the unfriendly way in which we and the other guests were treated there. Some guests who had already been waiting for their food for over an hour confirmed this to us. We then walked 2 minutes further to the Lasch restaurant and were lovingly satisfied with great food. 👌

We were there for the first time yesterday. The menu needs a damp cloth. They both ordered the same thing, only the side dishes changed. Unfortunately there was a problem - it was brought to the table in exactly the wrong way. With 2 meals it should actually be possible to make it fit. Cola was totally stale without spirit

Wie eigentlich immer, war das Essen, super lecker und sehr reichlich. Einziger Kritikpunkt war diesmal eine absolut langsame Bedienung. Deshalb auch einen Punkt in der Bewertung abgezogen. Aber das ist jetzt Jammern auf sehr hohem Niveau von mir. Wir werden wiederkommen.

Hier kommt man gerne wieder. Wir kommen ein bis zwei Mal im Monat bei Ecke Becker und sind immer zufrieden. Gute Steaks und nette Bedienung. Sehr gute Preis Leistung Verhältnis.

Sure the Dönor's are good and the occasional pizza too, but when I want a real meal I come to Zum Eckbäcker Gasthaus. Best meal I've had since I've been in Germany. Very special ambiance too.

Gepflegte Gastlichkeit aufmerksame Bedienung und das Essen gut

Das Essen war gut, der Service und die Organisation hat nur leider stark zu wünschen übrig gelassen. Sehr schade! Anfangs ging alles sehr zügig mit den Getränken und die Vorspeisen kamen schnell. Auf den Haupteingang mussten wir dann eine Stunde lang warten, als wir nach 30 Minuten fragen wann dieser denn käme hieß es, er wird gerade zubereitet. Nach der Stunde Wartezeit bekamen dann alle in einem Zeitraum von 15-20 Minuten nach und nach ihr Essen (was meiner Meinung nach sehr unhöflich ist, da man zusammen essen geht um gemeinsam zu essen😅) Letztendlich hatten dann alle ihr Essen bis auf eine Person an unserem Tisch, dies ist den Bedingungen ohne Nachfrage von uns garnicht aufgefallen, es hieß die Küche hätte es vergessen. Das fehlende Essen kam natürlich erst, als alle anderen fertig gegessen hatten. Eine ordentliche Entschuldigung wurde uns auch nicht entgegengebracht. Wir werden dort definitiv nicht nochmal essen gehen!

Schon oft dort gewesen, im Sommer wie im Winter. Mit der Firma oder privat auch Mal mit Kindern. Immer alle lieb und freundlich und sehr lecker. Während Corona regelmäßig essen abgeholt und selbst an Feiertagen nie stressig und immer gemütlich. Leider nach den letzten 2 besuchen enttäuscht von der qualität.

Perfekt gute Qualität zu fairen Preisen.

Ich wurde in ein muffig riechendes Nebenzimmer geführt und musste SEHR lange warten, bis ich das bestellte Rahmschnitzel bekam, welches allerdings riesig war. Absolut kein anheimelndes Ambiente! Das Tollste: obwohl an der Eingangstür ein "ec-cash" Aufkleber prangte war zahlen mit Karte nicht möglich. Ich musste im Regen zu Hotel zurücklaufen und Bargeld holen. Der Gipfel: man konnte auf 50€ nicht rausgeben.. Ich werde da nicht mehr hingehen.

Absolut empfehlenswertes Essen. Ich hatte eine Platte, da muss man schon etwas Hunger mitbringen, so richtig kroatisch halt. Alles war sehr Schmackhaft und lecker, die Bedienung freundlich und flott.

Es ist ein Lokal mit besonderer Atmosphäre. Sind schon zum zigsten Mal dort, Gäste, das Essen stets lecker und frisch zubereitet. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Heute am Muttertag herrschte zwar Hochbetrieb, aber das Essen war wie immer Spitze. Für den Koch, die Chefin und die Bedienungen gibt's die Bestnoten.

Das Essen wahr schon Mal besser gewesen die Portionen sind kleiner und schlechter geworden und teurer,und die Bedienungen laufen nervös durch das Lokal das ist nicht mehr das Lokal das ich Mal kannte.

Balkanplatte (kroatisch), Sahne-Merretichschnitzel und mit Schafskäse gefülltes richtig schmackhaft und reichlich. Bedienung freundlichem und schnell. Noch kein besseres Essen in dieser Gegend auf dem Tisch bekommen.

Hähnchenschnitzel ist Formfleisch aus der Tiefkühltruhe, bestelltes teures stilles Wasser entpuppt sich als Leitungswasser und Gemüse bei der Fleischplatte ist auch Tiefkühlware. Der Chef wird unfreundlich wenn er auf den Betrug des Wassers hingewiesen wird. Nicht zu emfehlen.

Totale Enttäuschung Seit vielen Jahren besuchen wir regelmäßig das Lokal, aber was wir erlebt haben, lässt sich kaum in Worte fassen. 1. Bei der Bestellung des Salates wurde 2x die Art des Dressings von der jungen Dame (Servicekraft) bestätigt. Fazit: Salat statt mit Öl dann doch mit Jogurt geliefert, trotz 2facher Nachfrage! 2. Bei der Bestellung wurde extra nachgefragt, ob man das scharfe Ajvar gegen ein mildes Austauschen könne. Wurde bestätigt! Fazit: Der Grillteller kam dann ohne Ajvar ( weder scharf noch mild)! Wir haben die Servicekraft höflich daraufhin gewiesen, das das Ajvar gänzlich fehle! Es wurde das milde gebracht und wie wir auf der Rechnung ersehen konnten mit 2,50 EUR berechnet! Wir erfragten den Grund, warum man uns dafür 2,50 EUR berechnet. Antwort: Das scharfe sei dabei und das milde wäre extra! Wir haben die Dame mehrfach daraufhin gewiesen, das gar kein scharfes dabei war bzw. das Ajvar komplett fehlte beim Gericht! Darauf hätten wir sie auch beim Bringen des Gerichtes hingewiesen. Sie bestand auf die Zahlung! Zusammenfassend kann man sagen: Die Ware wird unvollständig geliefert und für eine Reklamation muss man noch zahlen! Solch eine Dreistigkeit ist wohl kaum zu übertreffen! Überlastet war die Dame definitiv nicht, da nur 5 Tische besetzt waren! Ist das die neue Art, Stammgäste abzuzocken? Oder glaubt das Lokal nach dieser Aktion, das wir Stillschweigen darüber wahren oder das wir noch einmal dieses Abzockelokal besuchen werden? Wir können dies nur zum Schutz andere Kundschaft publizieren!

Das Steak war super lecker, der Salat schwamm leider total im Öl. Der Service war gut, aber nicht außergewöhnlich.

Die Küche ist kroatisch angehaucht. Service fix, große Portionen, Wirt versteht sein Handwerk. Man sollte hier nicht gehobene Küche erwarten, aber ansonsten stimmt hier die Qualität.

Zum Eckebäcker kann ich weiterempfehlen. Das Essen ist lecker und reichhaltig und die Bedienung sehr nett und aufmerksam.

Wir sind aus dem Altkreis Schlüchtern und waren schon oft hier. Es ist sehr gemütlich und fühlen uns immer gut aufgehoben. Das Essen ist gut, schmackhaft und preiswert! Gerne wieder!

Wir kommen zwar aus der Umgebung, aber uns hat es bisher nie gereizt hier essen zu gehen. Heute waren wir dann mal dort; Gott sei Dank! Ich hätte es nicht erwartet aber es war unglaublich lecker!!! Das Ambiente war gemütlich, der Service aufmerksam und freundlich und wie gesagt - das Essen war ein Traum! Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

Wir haben uns auf einen schönen Abend gefreut und würden leider sehr enttäuscht. Das Essen bestand aus Fertigsosse und Tiefkühlschnitzel. Der Service war grauenvoll. Die Bedienung war total überfordert und wir mussten sehr lange warten.

Wir waren mit fünf Personen zum Mittagessen im familiären Kreis beim Eckebäcker. Die Portionen waren ordentlich. Mein Steak auf heißem Stein sah gut aus war aber eher zäh. Einer fand das Essen gut die anderen befriedigend. In der Summe war es also eine glatte drei.
