Turned away despite having a reservation. They became too arrogant after the hype. Shitty place for that!!!

The burgers themselves are delicious, but the patties are so thin and unfortunately, they were a bit burnt. The staff is great, though!!! The place is very well-kept and clean. Maybe it will be better next time... Thank you very much.

It was incredibly delicious, truly the best burger we've ever eaten! Simply wow! We had the smashed cheeseburger and the smashed truffle burger. Highly recommended. We always enjoy visiting when we're in Ludwigsburg☺️

The food is okay, but very salty. The fries are - as described - very crispy, which you have to like. The tables inside are very close together, with less than 20 cm of space between the next table. The interior is also not visually appealing. Due to the open kitchen concept, it's also very warm inside. It's okay to sit outside on/in the pedestrian zone. The shop is self-service. We waited 20 minutes for our food when it was busy. The price/performance ratio is unfortunately not right overall. A burger costs around 14 euros, fries another 4-5 euros, and a small Coke from the self-service fridge costs 3.80 euros. I would normally have given it three stars, but what really hurts the whole thing is the extremely rude manager/chef. A shame.

Company outing 2025 to Ludwigsburg. The "herd" ended up in the beer garden with currywurst and schnitzel. But two brave troublemakers wanted burgers! It was absolutely worth it! The smash burger is incredibly delicious, fresh, and, although not exactly huge at first glance, combined with fries, it's a truly generous portion! The service is friendly and fast, and payment is hassle-free and clean. Overall, the experience was perhaps a tad too salty, bordering on oversalted. But combined with the two beers from the fridge and the fact that I don't eat this kind of thing every day, it's okay. I'll be back the next time I'm in Ludwigsburg! Then with more colleagues!

I think the food is very good; the burgers are filling and of very good quality. The meat is very juicy and crispy at the same time, and the brioche bun doesn't get soggy. The fries are also very good, and the truffle mayo is first-class.

Delicious burger with a nice crust, soft bun, and good, sweet sauce. The fries are the absolute highlight, super crispy and delicious. The Philly cheese-style fries were also good. The food was definitely impressive, but unfortunately too expensive for me.

I'd love to give it 10 stars! I've never eaten such delicious burgers. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the owners are incredibly friendly. I highly recommend a visit!

Great burgers, the chicken burger was super juicy, which is rare, and the smash burger was also very good. Unfortunately, there's limited seating, but two or four people are perfect. Very friendly staff who seem to love the place! We'll be back.

We saw this plan on instagram and had to check it out on our weekend trip to Stuttgart. We went around 1300 on a Saturday and had a reservation but it wasn’t too busy. The street it’s located on is pedestrian access only, but we parked at the nearby mall, which was only a 5 min walk from the restaurant. We got the truffle burger and some fries and both were delicious! One of the best burgers we’ve had while here in Germany. Highly recommend!

First time visiting due to the very positive reviews. After the visit, you know the reviews are rightly so. All of our burgers tasted excellent. Despite the very thin meat, the burger was juicy and, combined with the sauce, onions, and cheese, a great taste experience. Very friendly and attentive staff. Any special requests the children had were easily accommodated. You can watch the food being prepared, which is especially great for children. A clear recommendation for this fantastic burger joint in Ludwigsburg.

A quick review of Ludwig Cousine. The burgers are really delicious. The wait time is a bit long. Prices are a bit too high in my opinion! The staff (manager) is very friendly.

Ludwig Cuisine in Ludwigsburg – for me, the best burgers in town I've tried all the relevant burger joints in Ludwigsburg and I have to say that Ludwig Cuisine clearly stands out for me. I called 15 minutes before opening and ordered a double smash cheeseburger, which I was able to pick up 15 minutes after opening. The staff was very friendly both on the phone and in person. The small shop is well-kept, offers a few outdoor seating areas, and has an open kitchen where you can watch the food being prepared. When I arrived, the burger was already ready – which was perfect for me. However, the price was significantly higher than what I normally pay for a burger, which surprised me at first. Nevertheless, I wanted to check the quality before judging – and I was absolutely pleasantly surprised: For me, everything about this burger was just right. The meat was perfectly cooked, had the desired crust, as befits a smash burger, and the cheese added extra flavor and juiciness. The sauce rounded out the burger well without overpowering the other components. The menu lists it as a cocktail sauce—a typical blend of mustard, mayo, and ketchup—which had a very harmonious flavor. The bun was lightly toasted and also very tasty. However, I could barely taste the pickles. That evening, shortly before closing time, I ordered another Sloppy Joe, this time on the spot because no one was available by phone or online. The wait was less than ten minutes. Unfortunately, unlike the cheeseburger, this burger didn't impress me as much—it was heavily loaded with ground beef and therefore unbalanced. The balance between the bun and the meat wasn't right for me, so I almost had to tear the burger apart to eat it. While the ground beef tasted good, the overall experience was not complete. Nevertheless, Ludwig Cuisine remains an absolute highlight for me in Ludwigsburg. The double smash cheeseburger was world-class, and I can wholeheartedly recommend the place.

Really an amazing and delicious smash burger. Highly recommended if you are in Ludiwgsburg and would like to have a burger. Very central location. Tip for the resturant: Since the fries are already at a premium price point, it might be a nice touch to have a sauce included.

The restaurant is very small and unassuming at first, but has a modern interior. We ordered our food to go. The staff was very polite and helpful with questions about the menu. The star of the show, however, was the food. All the ingredients were extremely fresh, and you can watch the food (burger) being prepared. The Chili Cheese Smash Burger I ordered tasted exactly what you'd expect from a really good burger! The meat was crispy but juicy, the bun was soft and toasted, and the homemade jalapenos gave it just the right kick. I would recommend this place anytime. (We were there at a quiet time, so I can judge how smoothly it runs when it's busy.)

I went to Ludwig in Ludwigsburg for the first time yesterday. My wife and daughter were there two weeks ago and told me about it...so let's go. And I have to say, the guys are doing an excellent job. We sat in the shop and watched the guys at work. Everyone really puts their heart and soul into it, and you can definitely taste it. I had by far the best burger of my life yesterday—and I've had a few ;) Keep up the good work! I'll be back!

Absolutely recommend!!! The food was simply delicious!!!🤤 I had a chili cheeseburger. It was pleasantly spicy for spicy food lovers. The meat had a great grilled flavor and was a decent size. The fries were well salted, just how I like them, and crispy. All in all, the best burger I've had in a long time! And the corn on the cob was great. Quartered, so it was perfectly prepared for eating. I can't say much about the ambiance, because the food was delivered. It worked very well. Thank you so much for the delicious food <3 :)

I had high hopes for this burger joint, as I'm a fan of smash burgers. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The burgers were burnt, so their flavor was barely noticeable. The fries were nice and crispy, but without ketchup or mayo, they were a bit dry and tasteless. Overall, I had hoped for more. Maybe it was just a bad day in the kitchen, but I'll think carefully about whether to return.

We visited Ludwig for the first time today and will definitely be back many more times. The smashed burger and fries were delicious! The atmosphere is lovely and the service is first-class. I highly recommend it.

The smash burgers are incredibly good; the chicken burger with coleslaw is also amazing. I always recommend it to anyone who wants a good burger. The chili cheese fries are also delicious. I recommend calling ahead and asking if they're busy if you need a reservation. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's rather small inside, but now in the summer, the outside area is also very nice.

5 stars – Our favorite burger joint! We're from Heilbronn and have become regulars – we regularly travel to Ludwigsburg just for the burgers! The food is always a real highlight. Our favorites are the "Cheeseburger" and the "Italian Stallion" – absolute explosions of flavor! The burger bun is nice and fluffy and freshly grilled in butter – simply delicious. The sauces and dips are also homemade and incredibly tasty. You can tell that the food is cooked with love. The wait time is absolutely reasonable for freshly prepared burgers – quality takes time. The ambiance is modern with a rustic touch – very harmonious and inviting. We would especially like to highlight the man behind the grill – a true original and passionate about his work. Keep it up! Ludwig Cuisine is highly recommended – we say this not only here, but also to our friends and acquaintances. We would definitely be back!

The food is really very tasty. We had fries with mayo and the classic cheeseburger. However, you really have to say that the prices are utopian when you consider that you pay almost 26 euros for a burger with fries and a cola. The ambience is also not intoxicating, as you sit very tightly in a small restaurant. There is also no service, meaning you have to order at the checkout and pick it up again there. The employees seem friendly but also a bit too fake nice. The bottom line is that this is probably the best burger in LB, but as a whole bar or restaurant it's pretty poor.

This is a fairly small self-service restaurant. The burgers are so good and really not expensive for the quality. Personally, I can't understand how there can be a McDonald's nearby. The chicken burger with parmesan in particular was so delicious.

This was our first time eating at this restaurant and all we had was frozen tasteless food. Wouldn't recommend anyone.

Our new favorite burger place in Ludwigsburg! Had the truffle smash and bbq smash burgers. Would certainly order the same again. Fries were perfectly done and a delicious Sortiment of dips to complement them! Super nice staff and good atmosphere both for inside and outside dining. My first visit to Ludwig Cuisine was an experience. I've been to many burger places but none were like this. The burgers are juicy and very tasty, as are the side dishes. I have to mention that it's a well-coordinated team. I'll be back!!!

Best smash and chicken burger in all of Germany!! There's no way you can get a Goldie or anything like that.

In principle it looks quite good. But When me and my partner (covered) wanted to eat there, we were given the impression and feeling that we were not welcome. I'm not 100% sure whether it was due to stress or our appearance (Islamic/foreign). Nevertheless, we were given the feeling that we were not welcome as guests. We were spoken to in an unfriendly and almost disrespectful manner, other orders were brought forward and free tables were given to customers who arrived later. We were happy to eat there but were very disappointed and left feeling dejected and hungry. It's sad that politics may be a reason why you're no longer welcome.

Were there for the first time today, good-humoured service and the burgers were simply world class! We'll be back

I ordered 2x burgers for delivery. 1 hour 50 minutes later I received two lukewarm burgers. Sorry, doesn't work at all. Everything is fine on site if you can get a place.

I waited 30 minutes (which isn't bad in itself) for chickpeas with tomato sauce on bread with rocket (veggie burger), absolutely not recommended and especially not easy to eat because it didn't have a solid consistency. I can't say anything about the other products but they are not recommended for all vegetarians

We are currently on assembly in the Ludwigsburg area and come to eat burgers at least once a week. There's no other burger like this in the area and we've tried a lot of them! To park, we always use the paid Mc Donald's parking lot, which is about a 3-minute walk from there.

Highly recommended, with something for everyone from spicy to mild and cheesy. The portion of fries is huge 😅
