It's an extremely small restaurant, so reservations are absolutely necessary, otherwise you'll have a hard time getting a table. The atmosphere is very cozy and modern; you immediately feel at ease. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, even though it's self-service: you order at the counter and pick up your food as soon as it beeps. The open preparation creates a really cool show-cooking feeling. The burgers are truly excellent, especially my smashed truffle burger, which turned out exceptionally well, and the truffle fries were also very good (with plenty of grated truffle and Parmesan). Great quality, and the food arrived really quickly. You can also order food for pickup or delivery. Personally, I would have liked a sweet ending. While the selection isn't huge, every burger is absolutely fantastic. It was even the best fried chicken burger I've had in Germany so far. Go for the Italian Stallion; you can't go wrong with it. The staff was also incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this place.

We were really looking forward to the burger, as we'd seen a lot of positive reviews on TikTok. We arrived at 4:10 pm on Saturday, but were sent back outside because an influencer wanted to film a video. Absolutely outrageous. All the other customers had to wait outside for up to 20 minutes, which is completely unacceptable. When the doors finally reopened, instead of an apology, we were simply told to eat quickly and then leave, as everything was scheduled down to the minute. The place is extremely small and only has a very limited number of tables to begin with. On top of that, you have to queue up like at a kebab shop to order at the register, which made the situation even more unpleasant. After the long wait in the cold and the disrespectful treatment, we were completely done. We got up and left immediately. No matter how good a burger looks or tastes, if the service is like this, it's not worth the wait.

Burger Endgame! Period! By far the best smashed burger around! They really know how to handle the product here. The burger itself, with super-thin sliced ​​onions, perfectly seasoned pickles, and a perfect amount of chili, is divine. Nothing is over the top, everything tastes delicious. The chili burger has that perfect level of spiciness, right on point before it becomes unpleasant. This is how chili should taste! 🔥 I'm not complaining about the prices. Quality comes at a price. The truffle fries are a bit too expensive, but they taste really good. Highly recommended! I can't and won't give the service full marks because it's self-service. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars. Guys, if your customers are bothered by the fact that they're not wearing hairnets, and this is mentioned so often, then put one on! As for me, I'm not that sensitive, and I'll definitely be back! 🫶🏽 The ambiance is the shop's Achilles' heel. It could be better. However, it's nothing that needs to change right now; you'll soon be too big and too well-known anyway. 👊🏻

I've never eaten such a delicious burger in my life. It was literally the best burger I've ever tasted. The staff were incredibly friendly and, along with the lovely decor, contributed to a very pleasant atmosphere. Thank you so much!

Unfortunately, all the burger patties were gone by evening. So we had the chicken burger. It tasted very good, but was a bit small for my appetite. Getting a table is difficult; it's best to reserve. I definitely have to try the regular burger. If it tastes similarly good, it'll get 5 stars.

Best Burger! A truly excellent Smash Burger! I can't remember ever having a better one. Personally, I even preferred the regular Smash Burger a touch more than the Barbecue Smash Burger. But that's a matter of taste. You can see the love that goes into every detail. And you can taste it, too. This burger is absolutely fantastic!

We all enjoyed it very much and the food was delicious. The ambiance is very appealing, with the ceiling full of violins. All the burgers were excellent and worth the price.

Five stars for the fantastic burgers... But: we had a reservation, arrived 30 minutes early, and were told to wait outside in -4°C, even though there were plenty of free tables next to each other. Good restaurateurs seat guests in these empty tables, even if they arrive early. Also: no one was wearing a hairnet...

The only downside for me is the fries. €5.60 for "regular" fries? Otherwise, everything is great!

The burger was incredibly delicious. The fries tasted similar to McDonald's, but were significantly crispier. I ordered the chicken patty separately as a crispy chicken patty. On its own, it was a bit too greasy for me (probably because of the Polofino). However, I can definitely see how good it would be on the burger.

Went there yesterday with the family... Tried it on a whim after seeing it on Instagram. What can I say? Beef burgers are around €15 on average. But wow, I've rarely eaten such incredibly delicious burgers. I had the Sloppy Joe. Wow. Just wow. A super-nice, huge guy at the register, plus two people in the kitchen. Chef's certificate... I have high expectations, and they were met. Unfortunately, the place is very cramped and small, with a student vibe. I'd recommend making a reservation. Very young crowd, and great black music playing in the background. Triple delight. What surprised me was that the long-haired men weren't wearing hairnets. Isn't that mandatory in the kitchen for long hair? (I don't know, that's why I'm asking.) We'll be back. Highly recommended.

However, we were rather brusquely informed on a Friday at 6:00 PM that they were fully booked and that we would have to wait at least 30 minutes for delivery. I wanted to order. A new employee came into the store to help out. He took off his jacket and went straight to the cash register and started helping with food preparation in the back. He hadn't washed his hands beforehand. I wasn't hungry anymore.

The food is okay, but very salty. The fries are - as described - very crispy, which you have to like. The tables inside are very close together, with less than 20 cm of space between the next table. The interior is also not visually appealing. Due to the open kitchen concept, it's also very warm inside. It's okay to sit outside on/in the pedestrian zone. The shop is self-service. We waited 20 minutes for our food when it was busy. The price/performance ratio is unfortunately not right overall. A burger costs around 14 euros, fries another 4-5 euros, and a small Coke from the self-service fridge costs 3.80 euros. I would normally have given it three stars, but what really hurts the whole thing is the extremely rude manager/chef. A shame.

Company outing 2025 to Ludwigsburg. The "herd" ended up in the beer garden with currywurst and schnitzel. But two brave troublemakers wanted burgers! It was absolutely worth it! The smash burger is incredibly delicious, fresh, and, although not exactly huge at first glance, combined with fries, it's a truly generous portion! The service is friendly and fast, and payment is hassle-free and clean. Overall, the experience was perhaps a tad too salty, bordering on oversalted. But combined with the two beers from the fridge and the fact that I don't eat this kind of thing every day, it's okay. I'll be back the next time I'm in Ludwigsburg! Then with more colleagues!

Delicious burger with a nice crust, soft bun, and good, sweet sauce. The fries are the absolute highlight, super crispy and delicious. The Philly cheese-style fries were also good. The food was definitely impressive, but unfortunately too expensive for me.

I think the food is very good; the burgers are filling and of very good quality. The meat is very juicy and crispy at the same time, and the brioche bun doesn't get soggy. The fries are also very good, and the truffle mayo is first-class.

We saw this plan on instagram and had to check it out on our weekend trip to Stuttgart. We went around 1300 on a Saturday and had a reservation but it wasn’t too busy. The street it’s located on is pedestrian access only, but we parked at the nearby mall, which was only a 5 min walk from the restaurant. We got the truffle burger and some fries and both were delicious! One of the best burgers we’ve had while here in Germany. Highly recommend!

First time visiting due to the very positive reviews. After the visit, you know the reviews are rightly so. All of our burgers tasted excellent. Despite the very thin meat, the burger was juicy and, combined with the sauce, onions, and cheese, a great taste experience. Very friendly and attentive staff. Any special requests the children had were easily accommodated. You can watch the food being prepared, which is especially great for children. A clear recommendation for this fantastic burger joint in Ludwigsburg.

Ludwig Cuisine in Ludwigsburg – for me, the best burgers in town I've tried all the relevant burger joints in Ludwigsburg and I have to say that Ludwig Cuisine clearly stands out for me. I called 15 minutes before opening and ordered a double smash cheeseburger, which I was able to pick up 15 minutes after opening. The staff was very friendly both on the phone and in person. The small shop is well-kept, offers a few outdoor seating areas, and has an open kitchen where you can watch the food being prepared. When I arrived, the burger was already ready – which was perfect for me. However, the price was significantly higher than what I normally pay for a burger, which surprised me at first. Nevertheless, I wanted to check the quality before judging – and I was absolutely pleasantly surprised: For me, everything about this burger was just right. The meat was perfectly cooked, had the desired crust, as befits a smash burger, and the cheese added extra flavor and juiciness. The sauce rounded out the burger well without overpowering the other components. The menu lists it as a cocktail sauce—a typical blend of mustard, mayo, and ketchup—which had a very harmonious flavor. The bun was lightly toasted and also very tasty. However, I could barely taste the pickles. That evening, shortly before closing time, I ordered another Sloppy Joe, this time on the spot because no one was available by phone or online. The wait was less than ten minutes. Unfortunately, unlike the cheeseburger, this burger didn't impress me as much—it was heavily loaded with ground beef and therefore unbalanced. The balance between the bun and the meat wasn't right for me, so I almost had to tear the burger apart to eat it. While the ground beef tasted good, the overall experience was not complete. Nevertheless, Ludwig Cuisine remains an absolute highlight for me in Ludwigsburg. The double smash cheeseburger was world-class, and I can wholeheartedly recommend the place.

The restaurant is very small and unassuming at first, but has a modern interior. We ordered our food to go. The staff was very polite and helpful with questions about the menu. The star of the show, however, was the food. All the ingredients were extremely fresh, and you can watch the food (burger) being prepared. The Chili Cheese Smash Burger I ordered tasted exactly what you'd expect from a really good burger! The meat was crispy but juicy, the bun was soft and toasted, and the homemade jalapenos gave it just the right kick. I would recommend this place anytime. (We were there at a quiet time, so I can judge how smoothly it runs when it's busy.)

I went to Ludwig in Ludwigsburg for the first time yesterday. My wife and daughter were there two weeks ago and told me about it...so let's go. And I have to say, the guys are doing an excellent job. We sat in the shop and watched the guys at work. Everyone really puts their heart and soul into it, and you can definitely taste it. I had by far the best burger of my life yesterday—and I've had a few ;) Keep up the good work! I'll be back!

Absolutely recommend!!! The food was simply delicious!!!🤤 I had a chili cheeseburger. It was pleasantly spicy for spicy food lovers. The meat had a great grilled flavor and was a decent size. The fries were well salted, just how I like them, and crispy. All in all, the best burger I've had in a long time! And the corn on the cob was great. Quartered, so it was perfectly prepared for eating. I can't say much about the ambiance, because the food was delivered. It worked very well. Thank you so much for the delicious food <3 :)

I had high hopes for this burger joint, as I'm a fan of smash burgers. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The burgers were burnt, so their flavor was barely noticeable. The fries were nice and crispy, but without ketchup or mayo, they were a bit dry and tasteless. Overall, I had hoped for more. Maybe it was just a bad day in the kitchen, but I'll think carefully about whether to return.

I recommend calling ahead and asking if they're busy if you need a reservation. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's rather small inside, but now in the summer, the outside area is also very nice.
