Mrs. Taskin's in Ludwigsburg – Friendly Owner, Great Ingredients I visited Mrs. Taskin's in Ludwigsburg today and ordered a steakbab. I asked the owner beforehand what the shop was known for – his answer: its vegetarian and vegan dishes. Nevertheless, I decided to try the steakbab he recommended. As soon as I entered, I noticed that the steakbab was advertised, even though there was no traditional rotisserie. I was pleasantly surprised by the way it was prepared: The owner took a nice piece of steak out of the fridge, cut it into strips, and fried it fresh with onions. At the same time, he placed a flatbread in the contact grill – whether he baked it himself or bought it, I can't say, but the toasting gave it a pleasant crunch. The steakbab was ready in less than five minutes. The meat was seared in a pan, which could be time-consuming if it was busy – but the shop may have a concept for this that I'm not familiar with. The vegetarian dishes in the display looked very fresh and appetizing. Overall, the shop is clean, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated. As for the taste: The steak bab was large and fresh, but I found the meat-to-bread ratio a bit underwhelming – the meat was somewhat overpowered in terms of flavor and could have had more depth for my taste. It was delicious, no question, but I had different expectations for "Steakbab" – a bit more seasoning, a bit more refinement. It was served in toasted flatbread with the steak and onion mix, fresh lettuce, and tomatoes – there was no sauce, but it wasn't necessary. Overall, a delicious meal, friendly service, and a nice atmosphere. However, the somewhat unbalanced meat-to-bread ratio prevents me from giving it a full five-star rating.

Very good value for money! We particularly recommend the stuffed peppers and the eggplant stuffed with vegan mince! After 2 p.m., the selection of home-cooked meals is limited—so it's especially recommended for lunch.

The food is really good and the price-performance ratio is good. Mrs. Taskin is also very friendly and nice, but Mr. Taskin is not as friendly and nice. It's a shame.

Delicious home cooked food with oriental taste. Many veggies and lentils as well as vegan options. A true gem. Free black tea with every meal. Best lunch option in town. Very reasonable prices.

I've been here twice and had the vegetarian large plate for lunch both times. You get a mix of different dishes on one plate. The portion is decent and everything tastes very tasty.

We went there for lunch today. Very nice service. We ordered the vegetarian stuffed peppers to eat in the restaurant. With a side dish, so small portion. I took the eggplant in curry sauce and the friendly waitress gave me a good portion of the kohlrabi vegetables as well. Large portion and tasted very, very good. The restaurant is nicely furnished with plants and high tables to separate the passage. It was very well attended. We will come again.

It's unfortunately quite hidden, but the food is all the more delicious, with a good selection and very friendly staff, free tea, and you feel welcome as a guest. The balance between snack bar and trendy café is interesting, but after the first few bites, it doesn't matter at all 🤣.

In the passage to Oberpaur. Very good lunch menu with many variations to put together. Very nice service.

Salmon with potato gratin, the gratin was delicious, the fish was unfortunately dry and cold. When I asked, it was warmed up for me. Very unfortunate for the price.

I like coming here for lunch. There are always several delicious dishes to choose from (mostly vegetarian/vegan). Large portions and fair prices. There's even free tea. One disadvantage is that you sit in the passageway, but that doesn't bother me for lunch.

I ordered the vegan student meal here. It was super tasty, organic, vegan and only cost 6 euros. Simply bomb. A real tip for students who want to eat healthier!

Sehr leckeres Essen zu einem unschlagbaren Preis. Es wird auch nicht zu sparsam serviert und Kaffee und Kuchen ist ebenfalls sehr lecker. Es gibt mehrere Vegetarische und Vegane Optionen, sowie Hafermilch für den Kaffee.

Immer leckeres, abwechslungsreiches und preiswertes Mittagessen (stets auch vegane/vegetarische Option) von einem super netten Team!

Netteste Menschen die man sich wünschen kann, und immer extrem zuvorkommend. Hier bekommt man für kleines Geld sehr ehrliches und gutes Essen. Selbst für Biofleisch ist man sich nicht zu schade,- was man in Ludwigsburg sonst wirklich vermisst.

Taskin kennt in Ludwigsburg jeder. Sein zweites Lokal bietet jeden Tag eine leckere, frische Auswahl, auch vegan. Zutaten aus der Region, Bio-Fleisch, guter Kaffee. So muss das sein. Überzeugt euch einfach selbst.
