Wir kommen sehr gerne zum Dinner und lassen es uns gut gehen - die Weine und Luca‘s Speise-Kreationen sind immer wieder ein Genuss. Anschliessend freuen wir uns auf das Bar-Ambiente und die DJ live Sets - die Cocktails von Sandro sind aussergewöhnlich!

Durch einen Zufall sind wir zur Gaunerei gestoßen, da wir nicht aus der Ecke kommen. Super leckeres Essen und die Cocktails waren ebenso sehr ansprechend. Hervorzuheben war der außerordentlich gute Service vom Herrn Gianluca! Sehr aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Die Gaunerei in Ludwigsburg ist mit Abstand eines der besten Restaurants, in denen ich je gegessen habe – und ich übertreibe nicht. Das Essen ist auf einem Niveau, das man sonst nur aus echten Sternerestaurants kennt. Jeder einzelne Gang war ein Erlebnis: unglaublich hochwertige Zutaten, perfekt abgestimmte Aromen und eine Präsentation, die zeigt, dass hier mit echter Leidenschaft und Können gekocht wird. Man merkt sofort, dass in der Küche Menschen stehen, die ihr Handwerk wirklich beherrschen. Ich habe bereits in einigen sehr guten Restaurants gegessen – auch in Häusern mit Sternen – aber so begeistert war ich schon lange nicht mehr. Die Qualität, der Geschmack und die Liebe zum Detail sind einfach außergewöhnlich. Dazu kommt eine Atmosphäre, in der man sich sofort wohlfühlt, und ein Service, der aufmerksam, herzlich und professionell ist. Für mich steht fest: Die Gaunerei in Ludwigsburg gehört zu den absoluten kulinarischen Highlights der Region. Wer außergewöhnlich gut essen möchte, sollte hier unbedingt einen Tisch reservieren. Ich komme definitiv wieder ! Bis bald !!

Die Gaunerei ist eines meiner absoluten Lieblingsrestaurants. Ich war schon öfter dort und es begeistert mich jedes Mal aufs Neue. Ich liebe das Tapas-Konzept – perfekt, um verschiedene Gerichte zu probieren und zu teilen. Auch das wechseln der Karte gefällt mir sehr gut. Das ist der Grund weshalb ich immer wieder komme. Ich war sowohl mal zum klassischen Essen, Afterwork dort als auch neulich beim Breakfast Club, und es war jedes Mal richtig gut. Das Essen und die Zusammenstellung der Gerichte sind durchweg top und absolut empfehlenswert. Der Service ist immer sehr nett, cool und freundlich, man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Ich empfehle die Gaunerei oft weiter und komme immer wieder.

Wir waren am Freitagabend hier. Das gesamte Konzept der Gaunerei hat mir sehr zugesagt, von den Speisen über die Musik bis zum Ambiente wirklich sehr sehr cool und erfrischend anders. Das Essen war wirklich gut und mit viel Liebe und vorallem frisch zubereitet. Die Karte ist klein aber liest sich toll. Die Jungs machen einen sehr guten Job und sind überaus freundlich gewesen. Das einzig störende war für mich die Wartezeit auf den Hauptgang von ca. einer Stunde. Dies war aber wohl dem geschuldet dass mehrere andere Gäste zeitgleich oder unmittelbar vor uns bestellt hatten. Wenn man Zeit mitbringt und es sich entsprechend gemütlich macht - gemütlich ist es zweifelsfrei - sollte das aber kein allzu großes Problem darstellen. Wenn wir mal wieder in der Gegend sind kommen wir gerne wieder vorbei.

Dieser Ort ist einfach fantastisch! Das Essen von Luca ist großartig, der Service von Sandro und den netten Kollegen erstklassig! Perfekt für einen entspannten und einzigartigen romantischen Abend.

We held our Christmas party at Gaunerei Ludwigsburg and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The cuisine was delightfully unusual, creative, and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was perfect, with great music, fantastic cocktails, and a modern yet cozy ambiance. I'd especially like to highlight the attentive and friendly service – always present without being intrusive. The wine selection was also excellent, offering something to suit every taste. All in all, a clear recommendation – we'll definitely be back!

Small menu, food quite ok, rooms a bit cramped, service "comfortable" - you have to bring your time

An exclusive but very stylish restaurant.

We were there on Wednesday for the "Old School" menu – the roast beef with onions was excellent! The apple fritters were delicious, but had been presented more beautifully in the past.

Curiosity brought us here after doing a long research in google maps! We have developed palates, and I used to be a Pastry and Cuisine Chef in the South of France, and have a major passion for food! So needless to say I am very aware of flavors, creative and kinda « demanding ». My husband follows the same as I have made him eat a lot of different things, and we decided to try Gaunerei as it looked indeed very well plated and with this sense of « home » with a touch of sophistication. We tried the menu on a Swabian day, thinking we would probably not like it, but it was amazing! Great match of flavors and textures all together. The crispness, cooking onion in different ways, bringing value to a simple ingredient that most people ignore, the sweet balanced with salty, all the perfectly balanced flavours put together! And needless to say, it’s common to say that if you take a dessert and the dessert isn’t good, that you will not remember the restaurant with good eyes, but even the dessert was an amazing delicacy. Incredibly simple, super tasty and just bringing value to the dish. The food is the absolute spotlight, also to not forget the amazing lovely mood of the waiter. Highly recommended. I don’t write much about my dining experiences, but I thought this business deserves the most recognition and extreme respect.

Another star deduction because they can't handle my 3-star rating and the associated criticism sensibly. ******************************* €32 for the 220g roast beef with a Maultasche (swabian ravioli). Okay, not cheap, but delicious. What I absolutely can't understand is why you should pay €6 extra for a penny-worthy item (spätzle). These days, it's standard practice almost everywhere to order and pay extra for the salad. But the side dish? And then a completely excessive €6 for that??? Caesar Salad, €9. Nothing more than a small side salad, which was good. But definitely not a Caesar salad. No anchovies, no Worcestershire sauce. Instead, arugula, tomatoes, lamb's lettuce, and even feta cheese. None of this has any place in a Caesar salad. Staff very friendly, service almost perfect. The atmosphere is somewhat cozy, even if you can only walk upright in the upper half of the restaurant if you're under 160 cm tall. Great concept, especially with the background music. Drink prices are also reasonable. Please reconsider the food pricing policy.

Full marks for a fantastic, modern concept with both outstanding food and service. Meeting at Gaunerei really puts you in a good mood, or – depending on the day – definitely a better one. The price is definitely justified for the quality of service. And most importantly: You feel very welcome as a guest!

We went to the Gaunerei with friends on Saturday evening and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening! The food was excellent, creatively prepared, and tasted very high. The service was professional, attentive, and at the same time pleasantly unobtrusive – we felt in good hands from the very first moment. The atmosphere was relaxed and stylish, just right for a pleasant evening with friends. We particularly liked the wine selection, both by the glass and by the bottle – there's truly something for everyone here. The cocktails were also top-notch: excellent in taste and beautifully presented. Another highlight was the background music: harmonious and at a pleasant volume, allowing for a peaceful conversation even when the place was busy. Conclusion: We'll definitely be back – a true highlight in Ludwigsburg!

Absolutely recommended – a real highlight in Ludwigsburg! The Gaunerei is truly a hit! The food was simply fantastic – superb quality, great taste, and made with lots of love. You can tell right away that attention is paid to every detail here. Whether it's the appetizer, main course, or dessert – everything was top-notch! The service was also fantastic: friendly, attentive, and at the same time totally relaxed. As a guest, you immediately feel comfortable and welcome. The atmosphere is modern and cozy, perfect for a lovely evening for two or with friends. For me, this is clearly one of the best restaurants in Ludwigsburg. If you're looking for good food and an all-round enjoyable evening, this is the place for you. I'll definitely be back!

Delicious ZRB with Spätzle and Maultaschen

Unique ambience, the food is excellent, the drinks are perfect and the service from Luca and his boys is very familiar and entertaining. quick and attentive. Great menu, reservation is recommended.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was our first visit and we will go again. Very friendly, casual, pleasant. The food was very good, the wine selection is great, the prices are fair, although high. I found the music with the meal unusual, but still pleasant (Public Enemy and Co.). A little note about service, availability and timing: the first starter came individually so that the table wouldn't be so full. Very good idea! Then nothing happened for a long time and the other two starters unfortunately came with the main courses - not such a good idea. The table was full and not all of the food was warm/hot. By the way, you can also sit at the bar, certainly for food, but especially for drinks in this nice atmosphere. Parking on the street in front is permitted in the evening from 7 p.m.; There are parking garages opposite (Wilhelmgalerie) and about 200 meters further on Asperger Straße. The train station is only about a ten minute walk away.

The term “gastro pub” fits quite well. We experienced and enjoyed great service, delicious food and good wine here. We had a great evening and will definitely be back soon!

Simply fantastic! The trickery in Ludwigsburg is a real highlight. From the stylish ambience to the attentive service to the excellent food – everything is perfect here! The dishes are creative, fresh and prepared with great attention to detail. I particularly loved the cheese spaetzle. The cocktails are also first class. If you want to enjoy a special evening in a relaxed atmosphere, this is the right place for you. Absolute recommendation!

Unfortunately, it's far too expensive for what's on offer. You are actually asked to leave after 2 hours, even though you have reordered and consumed.

The ambience is modern and decorated very differently than in normal restaurants - really in keeping with the times. It was and is usually busy, but the service is still attentive and friendly. And from 9 p.m. it's time to party with vinyl and changing DJs. 🎵🎶🎵 Our conclusion: You are guaranteed not to be “cheated” here, but simply pampered – an experience that you shouldn’t miss.

If the name says it all...! We ate at the Gaunerei for the first time yesterday with a group of seven people and were really expecting something from the many good reviews. We were all the more speechless when we had our food in front of us. A main course that you can never get enough of (Seven small pieces of leek, elaborately decorated on the plate to look like a lot and four small snippets of celery. Topped with a “béchamel sauce” and a little cress. Advertised as vegetables in béchamel sauce. The whole thing Fun for €19, side dishes had to be paid extra. On top of that there is the very arrogant way the waiter dealt with our (justified) criticism. I seriously wonder how all these good reviews came about. Nothing other than what the name says: fraud.! Rip-off at its finest! If you still really want to test it yourself, you can do it!!

Food (goose breast with sweet potato puree) was nothing to complain about. The service, on the other hand, was subpar. However, the negative highlight was the price of 12 EUR for 1 glass of Chardonney. Conclusion: My first and only visit to this truly inhospitable house. NO recommendation!

Yesterday we had dinner with 4 people. Aperitif cocktails were bomb, a taste explosion. That's how we started, the appetizers came appropriately after the cocktails. In the main course there is a nice selection to taste, rounded off with a wonderfully matching wine. Very friendly service and very cozy atmosphere.

The boys are machines. Everything, food, drinks, service, music, everything machine.

Unfortunately for us it's more of a one-time thing. We found the hustle and bustle to be very loud, which must have been due to the room acoustics and the low ceilings, and the seating was far too narrow and not very welcoming. The area is far too small for what is supposed to happen here. I liked the open view into the kitchen. The dishes are very nicely presented, unfortunately the plates (sort of snack plates) were far too small for the beautiful dish, but the plates also fit the limited space. We find only three main courses on the menu clearly not enough. Unfortunately, we didn't find anything when it came to starters. We think €24 is definitely too much for a daily special. I found the “Pearls before Swine” really tasty. All in all: a great concept, very nice service, well prepared dishes. It wasn't enough for us to get more points.

A magical evening full of culinary highlights and an irresistible ambience! The wild salmon sashimi was a taste sensation – warm and smoky, perfectly combined with cucumber, potato, mustard and dill. The main course, the back of “Friesian Oxx” with Rotspon pepper jus, was a poem. Accompanied by beans with bacon, pear and potato, the aromas unfolded to their utmost perfection. The dessert, a creative fusion of Franzbrötchen and red fruit jelly, was the sweet finale. The wine recommendations and the perfect cocktails rounded off the gastronomic experience. The service impressed with its expertise and attention. What was particularly outstanding was the musical background provided by the DJ, who played old-school hip-hop with records. This combination of exquisite cuisine, excellent drinks and rousing music created an unforgettable atmosphere. Hospitality is celebrated here at the highest level. An absolutely recommended restaurant!

Very cool location, delicious food from the “surprise menu”, plus attentive, friendly service and extremely tasty cocktails. All in all, you can spend a pleasant evening here. If you want to sit at the table, you should make a reservation or come later.

For dessert we ordered one of the main dishes again: the tuna. That says everything about the special quality and perfect taste of the food!

Und mindestens so heiß wie die Crew und die Beats dort. Das Konzept hat keine Konkurrenz und kennt nahezu keine Grenzen. Super leckeres Essen, lockere Crew, dezente Beats in der Mischung aus oldschool und hiphop. Wenn man Glück hat, sogar live auf den Tellern gemixt. Einfach eine absolute Empfehlung für jede Person, die auf Genuss mit Augen, Mund und Ohren steht. Weiter so und bis bald 😘

Fantastisches Restaurant mit fairen Preisen. Dieses Restaurant ist fantastisch! Das Essen ist köstlich, die Atmosphäre gemütlich und der Service erstklassig. Die Musik und die Cocktails nach meinem Geschmack. Ein absolutes Muss für Genießer! Was das Ganze noch besser macht, sind die fairen Preise für die gebotene Qualität. Ein ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!

Habe mich in den Laden verliebt, was neben dem Wohlfühlfaktor, den wohl besten Whiskey sour auch an den Gastgebern liegt. Sowas hat in Ludwigsburg definitiv gefehlt

Die Gaunerei punktet wirklich auf fast allen Ebenen in Top-Bereich. Das Essen ist wirklich der Hammer und jeden Cent wert! Das After-Work Special ist Preislich wirklich einladend und im Sommer gibt es tatsächlich Großstadt Vibes ab, was in Ludwigsburg nicht immer der Fall ist. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und rücksichtsvoll. Es wird auf jeden Wunsch eingegangen und auch gut an Menüs herangeführt, bzw. plausible Empfehlungen ausgesprochen. Die Share-Idee kam bei unserem letzten Besuch etwas überfordert bei mir an, aber am Ende hat alles geschmeckt. Da sollte noch ein bisschen am System gefeilt werden - damit die Kunden das auch selbst hinbekommen. Das Ambiente finde ich gelungen, bedarf aber auch noch der ein oder anderen Verbesserung (im Kontrast zum Bar Bereich und der Küche sieht der Essbereich noch nicht fertig aus). Die Getränkeauswahl ist vielfältig und sehr schmackhaft! Die Apperitif kann ich nur empfehlen. Gerne wieder. Reservierung wird empfohlen.
