Lotus in Kaiserslautern

The pasta wasn't cooked properly, you were allowed to look for the shrimp and you only found 3 pieces, which is really weak for a dish that costs €9! My dish was totally over salted and the skewers were totally dry. We will be careful not to order there again.

Service was subpar, seemed annoyed even though no one was in the store. Coke wasn't brought until we asked at the counter. The food was ok, but had nothing to do with Vietnamese. At the end we were told that only cash payment was possible. So there were costs for withdrawing from a third-party bank. You can't get an invoice either because there is no cash register , which I find to be very borderline. Once but certainly not a second time!

I ordered from Lieferando here on Sunday and there was a spider under the ginger in my sushi.

Unfortunately the taste was very poor. Ordered roast duck with *spicy* sauce. There was nothing spicy at all, let alone seasoned in any way. It's a shame... that's why only 1 star

Simply great! I have often ordered various dishes from Lotus with friends and the food (including sushi) has always been very tasty! Large portions and great prices. Service is also very friendly. I would happily recommend Lotus. Tip: Bun Bo Nam Bo & Tempura Sushi Crunchy

Food is okay here, but service and atmosphere is good. Pho does not have basil with it.

Impossible! We were the only guests (authorized) and still had to wait 45 minutes for our sushi. €6 for pure sugar water sold as “homemade lemonade”, disgusting. We feel sick from the food and the table wasn't even clean. It also smelled like stale fat and we're lucky if we didn't get food poisoning.

Would need more experience on drinks but in general food was amazing 👏

From the state-side, visiting the area and I looked up this place. I went on a Wed night and it was empty. The ambiance was nice, clean, and simple. They don’t take visa, euro only. I ordered the crisp duck plate (#61, I think) with the pleinke sauce which was phenomenal! Very tasty, the flavor was on point and good portion. I highly recommend it!

Ich wurde sehr freundlich empfangen und habe zwei Gerichte zum Mitnehmen bestellt und diese wurden frisch zubereitet .Das Essen war sehr gut und heiss beim Verzehr zuhause.

Very nice and cozy place, the drinks were very tasty and so was the food I tasted. The owner is cool and they are very friendly. Will definitely give them another try soon.

The sushi was very good and the service too, the woman that took my order was very nice and didn't mind my broken german. I don't give 5 stars because I ordered a glass of water and they gave me a glass, with no bottle, making me think it was tap water, and charged me 2.40€.

Y’all this is lieferando delivery of Lotus Restaurant in K-Town. beef pho 🍲, pork meatball bon mac and chicken with onions. The bon mac and chicken it tried but those are for lunch and dinner or lunch dinner and lunch since so much food, but super tasty and but probably a little better in person as you get more yummy broth. Worth a try, not sure what they and every Asian food place here does to cook their chicken but soooo good. Went back for more and got chow Mein, spicy beef and another pho variant and wow. Super good Everything arrived warm and noodles still steaming. Glad to have more options now on lieferando.

Qualität hat nach gelassen in den letzten jahren. Speisen werden oft kalt serviert.

Wir hatten beschlossen draußen zu essen, leider waren fast alle Stühle voller Vogelkot und mussten suchen um zwei saubere Stühle zu finden. Das Essen war Ok, nicht allzu besonders, aber wir hatten auch nichts besonderes bestellt. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und unsere Fragen zu den Gerichten wurden auch alle beantwortet. Wir konnten leider nicht mit Karte bezahlen.

Essen ist gut und günstig. Leider war es sehr kalt aufgrund der voll aufgedrehten Klimaanlage. Daher 1 Stern Abzug...

This lady in the restaurant did a big scam on my friend. My friend does not eat meat so he ordered fried rice without meat. He did not check the box when leaving but when he reached home we found out she gave noodles instead of fried rice, moreover for vegetarian noodle/fried rice "tofu" should be added in the menu. But she did not give that also. So When my friend again went back to change it to fried rice we asked her to add tofu atleast this time but she shouted and refused to add tofu and gave only fried rice with vegetables for which she charge us 6 Euro but if you check her website plain fried rice with vegetables cost only 2 Euro under side dishes section. I have never seen a scam like this. Please beware!!!

Very delicious dishes, the signature dish there, I think, is rice with fried duck and I chose Thai curry sauce. It's a huge portion (at least for me), and they made it super tasty. The duck is crispy, together with the slightly spicy Thai curry are top combination. There's also bamboo root, onions, bell pepper, mushroom inside. I also ordered an avocado smoothie, if you don't like sweet, tell her to not put sugar in. Other than that, it's really refreshing. The owners are 2 Vietnamese, really hospitable and funny. Sometimes there are only 2 of them cooking so it takes quite long for the order to be ready, especially on a busy day. But I can understand that, and it's also worth the wait! The more hungry we are, the tastier the dishes are. *Update: I went there again recently, and tried a different sauce for rice with duck. This time I tried the Chinese sauce, but I prefer the Thai curry one.

Das Ambiente ist schön, das Essen war okay, keine lange Wartezeiten. Allerdings war die Bedienung sehr unfreundlich. Für mich somit leider nicht empfehlenswert.

This atmosphere was nice, but this place does not concern itself with cross contamination. I ordered a chicken fried rice and had 3 shrimps mixed into the rice, which cause me to get hives. My pho was relatively good, but super salty. The staff was very friendly.

Der beste Vietnamese in Kaiserslautern! Das Essen schmeckt immer lecker, sowohl die Nudel- und Reisgerichte, als auch das erstklassige Sushi. Das Personal ist immer super nett und freundlich und das Restaurant hat ein schönes Ambiente. Auch der Lieferservice ist top, das Essen kommt schnell, die Gerichte sind warm und das Sushi frisch. Ich gehe sehr gerne zum Lotus und kann es jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen :)

Ich gehe seit Jahren im Lotus Essen, es ist immer sehr Lecker. Die Preise sind Bombe, die Portion ist Ordentlich und das Personal sehr Höflich, zuvorkommend und Freundlich.

To preface this, the food is pretty good, but gave 2 stars because they tried to lie to me. I ordered Ikura/Salmon Roe/Lachskaviar. You can see in the picture they gave me Tobiko/Flying fish roe/Fliegenderfischkaviar. I told them they gave me the wrong order. They said that's Ikura. I had to show them a picture of what Ikura is. They then admitted to me they don't have Ikura, only Tobiko. I have a problem with that as they tried to charge me Ikura price (expensive) for cheap Tobiko fish eggs. DO NOT ORDER THE IKURA if you're expecting the actual salmon fish eggs. Otherwise, their sushi rolls are tasty. Edit: attached picture of what REAL Ikura nigiri looks like.

Wir haben verschiedene Gerichte ausprobiert. Egal ob im Restaurant oder Lieferservice, alles war super lecker, frisch und perfekt gewürzt. Die Portionen sind auch mega zu wirklich günstigen Preisen. Dazu noch sehr nette Leute. Gerne wieder!!! Sehr empfehlenswert!!!

I live a few bldgs down and have been visiting here every wk for their duck, fried rice and other dishes. Food is cooked fresh as soon as you put in your order, restaurant is immaculately clean, family owned and friendly chef and wait staff, convenient location across from the K in Lautern mall, inexpensive, authentic Vietnamese. Definitely recommend lunch or dinner here and my faves are the duck in any sauce and their fried rice.

Das Warten (ca. 1h 10min Lieferzeit) hat sich gelohnt! Sushi war lecker und frisch. Für Liefersushi in KL wirklich super. Hähnchen war zart und geschmacklich top. Gemüse knackig. Die überbackenen Bananen waren frisch und nicht knautschig. Ab jetzt immer wieder gerne !

Visited Lotus viet /Thai today (7 Aug 2016) not knowing anything about the restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. Seemed to be the only place open on a Sunday night in this town we passed through. We were most pleased with the speed of the service. I ordered a shrimp salad which was delicious but way too spicy, even when it was toned down at my request, so be warned. Partner had 3 meat fried rice which, while the meat was not up my street, nor done quite to my liking or standards of quality, he enjoyed very much. We enjoyed also a little snack of chicken wings. Topped off with 2 tap waters not charged for, it was a very cheap and satisfying meal. No waiting around. Service with a smile wins every time and inspires a 5 star review on TripAdvisor. Win!
