Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. The waiter brought the wrong pizza and then reacted rudely after we didn't leave a tip due to the mistake. He cleared the table hastily and didn't say goodbye. Overall, the service was only mediocre – the food, however, was of good quality and tasted fine.

I recently went to L'Osteria and was very disappointed. I ordered a Sprite, but it didn't taste like Sprite at all—more like stale, disgusting sparkling water. This wasn't just the case with my drink, but also with my cousins. We both could barely drink anything. It's a real shame; I expected much more from a restaurant like that.

There were 13 of us for lunch. The food arrived all at once, no one had to wait. I hadn't been here in a long time and was pleasantly surprised.

Very tasty, I was there with a friend and we had a great evening. It's best to make a reservation on weekends, otherwise everything was great. The pizza 🍕 was very large and prepared quickly.

Hello, I was with you on October 24, 2025, and ordered the dish "zoodles." I asked the young lady what they were because I wasn't familiar with them, and she said "zucchini noodles." Unfortunately, the dish didn't match the description or expectations. I thought it was noodles, but in fact, the dish consisted only of zucchini, was very spicy, watery, and presented unappealingly. I could barely eat it. It was very spicy and watery. I politely asked for a different dish, but was told I had to pay for both. I found that disappointing, as I barely touched the first dish and I'm still sitting here with an empty stomach. No leniency, even though the dish had barely been touched. The taste and service were unfortunately disappointing. This was my first time here, and after this unfriendly and unwelcoming atmosphere, I won't be coming back again. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it to anyone.

Unfortunately, our visit was disappointing. The music in the restaurant was far too loud, making it almost impossible to have a relaxed conversation. When we asked about it, we were simply told that "unfortunately, nothing could be done about it," which gives the impression that little consideration is given to guests' wishes. The food was also disappointing: The Caesar salad was far too salty, and the lasagna had a floury, pasty taste that quickly spoiled one's appetite. Overall, it wasn't a pleasant experience—a shame, because the ambiance would actually be nice if one could feel at home there.

We love going here. The atmosphere is great. The food is absolutely delicious. It's great that you can share the pizza. Reservations are important, especially on weekends! Customer requests are also taken into account. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

A very large restaurant with a correspondingly lively, open-plan atmosphere. The kitchen is open. This fits the bill and has style. During our visit on September 29, 2025, the service was very attentive and friendly. The salad was crisp and freshly prepared. The pizza I ordered was truly large. Perhaps less would be more... The ingredients looked a bit lost on it, but they were very tasty. The dough had a great consistency, a thin base, and a slightly crispy crust. Thank you very much.

Always a pleasure to visit, even without a reservation. Delicious pizzas and attentive, friendly staff. Special requests are easily accommodated. Personally, I find it a bit too loud when it's full. If you want pizza, then go to l'Osteria!

I just spontaneously ordered takeaway... lunchtime... there was nothing going on in the shop... and still had to wait 40 minutes... for tasteless aglio olio... it has garlic... olive oil, a bit of chili, and tomatoes (normally), but somehow still no flavor. No cheese on it, nothing... I also ordered antipasti, which was okay... can't complain, except they said I'd get extra bread because I waited so long... (and of course, there was still no bread). Really disappointed... waiting 40 minutes. I could go home and cook myself... it's quicker and tastes better.

We were walking around looking for a place to eat and found this wonderful restaurant. We both had pasta and it was great.

Service rating: 6! They deliver cold food, the wrong food, and are rude on top of that! End result: I paid for the food, didn't get any of it, and the money is gone! Shift manager Jessica expects me to write an email after chasing them five times! Flexible as an anvil in free fall! I was a regular customer for years and brought many customers there, but that's over now! For the past few months, I've had cold pizzas at my table, so it's better not to order them home! Outrageous: I was promised over the phone what would be delivered. But afterwards: we don't offer that kind of thing online?! Pfff SERVICE -> 6-!!! EDIT: I just spoke to the manager, and she wouldn't even listen to me! Quote: They have a contract with Uber Eats! Now that's what I call putting off customers!

The food at L'Osteria was really delicious – nothing to complain about. However, the atmosphere was very hectic, which was certainly due to the fact that the restaurant was full. Our table was a two-seater behind a concrete pillar. At first, this was fine, but when the server opened the window right next to us without asking, we suddenly found ourselves sitting in a very cramped space – between the pillar and a large table for eight. This made the atmosphere noticeably uncomfortable for us. We then asked if we could move. This was refused, explaining that all four-seater tables had to remain free. However, we were not offered an alternative two-seater table. The bottom line: Very good food, but unfortunate seating and unaccommodating service. Therefore, 3 out of 5 stars.

Date: August 23, 2025, approximately 4-7 p.m. A more detailed explanation of the service, this only refers to the payment process; the other employees were nice: A man (mid-30s?) with black hair served us when we wanted to pay. We wanted to pay individually and were asked whether we wanted to pay by card or cash. We then said cash. I pulled out my €50 note and the employee immediately said in a very disrespectful tone (!) that he needed the exact amount, otherwise he would round up (and take the rest as a tip). Because he was so disrespectful, I didn't see the point in giving him a tip and told him I wanted to pay by card after all. The answer I received was that this was no longer possible. After I asked why, he said he had to cancel the payment process and then click on "pay by card." So he blatantly lied to our faces to pocket an undeserved tip. Then he told us we'd have to wait a long time. We didn't care; we just wanted to pay with our card and get out of the place. That was our first and definitely our last visit to this restaurant. It's a shame, because the food was really delicious. I hope things change for future visitors.

The restaurant is super nice and centrally located. The food was really delicious and definitely one of the better options for Osna, no matter what time of day you go. We spontaneously went there with a larger group of friends, and it was a great fit, with fast service, a relaxed atmosphere, and huge portions. Definitely a spot to remember, whether with friends or just the two of you.

A very nice restaurant in the L'Osteria chain. I especially like the terrace right by the river. The food is excellent, and the staff is very friendly. I come here every now and then when I'm in Osnabrück. The only downside for me: I find the music very loud and intrusive.

We were there with a large group (business lunch with reservation), and unfortunately, the service was disappointing across the board. Even the initial approach was disorganized: only three menus were provided for twelve people, and we were initially ignored for quite some time. The waiter who finally arrived was by far the most unfriendly I've ever encountered. He was impatient and abrupt even when ordering drinks. When one of our group wanted to order, he turned away without a word and served someone else. This inappropriate tone continued when ordering food: Instead of listening attentively, he turned his back on me while I ordered and then shouted across the table in a loud, aggressive tone that we "couldn't decide." There was no trace of friendliness or professionalism; on the contrary, at neighboring tables, one could observe that he was very capable of serving in a friendly and engaging manner. A misunderstanding regarding the order was handled not in a clarification or accommodating manner, but with a defensive, aggressive attitude. Without any willingness to talk, we were simply blamed. Misunderstandings can happen, but it's the tone that counts. And here, it was consistently disrespectful. This restaurant is no longer an option for us for a business lunch, or even a private visit.

My family and I come here for dinner every two weeks because my husband and kids love pasta so much. The pasta always looks good and delicious. There's this African guy who makes the pasta. He's really good; we usually come when he's there. We were there yesterday. 😘

We went there for lunch with two small children. Our order was delayed due to a large pickup order. We were then invited to have bruschetta, and the children's meal was brought forward. In my opinion, the service was excellent, the staff were attentive, and the food was delicious.

Hospitality looks different. 🙄 The service staff is extremely inattentive. Not many tables were occupied – so it wasn't busy – and the tables next door were being cleared and served. None of the employees passing by thought to ask for my order or even look in my direction. Only after a quarter of an hour, when I waved to a waiter who was standing further away at the time, did he come and take my order. He dismissed my complaint about the inattentive staff with a "Sorry." The ordered food and my drink arrived relatively quickly. After the meal, it was the same again: no one cleared the table, no waiter asked if I wanted anything else. Only when I got up to pack my things and put on my jacket did a waiter quickly arrive to take my payment. The food was good. The location is super beautiful by the water. I still won't be coming back if hospitality is so undervalued here.

There were two of us, and we redeemed a birthday voucher. We sat at a small table overlooking the Kollegienwall. We didn't really like the ambiance. Simple wooden chairs and very noisy, even though the restaurant wasn't fully booked. The pizzas were delicious, but much too big for us (we're not the youngest anymore ;) ). The service was very friendly and attentive. We'd love to come back when the weather allows us to use the terrace on the Hase.

The spaghetti ice cream was a rather solid vanilla ball with spaghetti decorations. We missed the cream center. The food was delicious despite all the criticism. It's one of the best places to eat in Osnabruck. A very pleasant place with an even better terrace by the river. Unbeatable pizzas, both in quality and size, and even better, fantastic service. Specifically, a waitress (I don't remember her name, but she was Portuguese with knowledge of German, Italian, English, etc.) who, in addition to serving customers at a frenetic pace, had time to smile and make the stay even more pleasant.

Really cool open design. The pizzas are big and neopolitan style so if you have a big appetite it's easy to take down one by yourself worst case you come home with a midnight snack etc. The atmosphere is really nice, the service is extremely fast even during peak hours and everyone is very friendly. They also have a lovely view inside and outside on an equally large and aesthetically pleasing wooden terrace posted up above the river. Although, we didn't get to sit on the terrace, it looks like it could get some mosquitoes when the water is low, but tbh I can't confirm it, also I didn't really notice any mosquitoes in Osnabrück even after a hot spell and a pretty impressive thunderstorm. Definitely a place I'd eat at every day, but I love that style of pizza and they really got the perfect timing and balance of ingredients. Plus it was a really good price considering the XL pizza and a half carafe of house red Abruzzo. I'm a cheap beer and Guinness man myself but the Abruzzo red they have was really good with the pizza and left more space to eat. Overall it's a good place for pretty much any occasion and always seems to have a good vibe and lots of all kinds of people coming and going. I wish we had one where I lived!

We (a group of four) were forgotten several times, and despite a 6 p.m. reservation, we didn't get our food until 8 p.m. The dishes arrived ten minutes late. The pasta wasn't cooked through either. But the service was super friendly and kept our spirits up. We're not used to that from L'Ostaria.

For the price, there are better restaurants that serve good pizzas, at least in terms of quality. Unfortunately, the acoustics leave something to be desired; it's quite loud, even though not all tables were occupied, hence only three stars for the ambiance. Losteria in Osnabrück is highly recommended! Super delicious. But it can't compete with the Italian restaurant Il Gusto in Greven, Westf, where half of North Rhine-Westphalia goes.

I love the pizza there. The quality and value for money are simply top-notch.
