Trattoria Am Rathaus in Osnabrück

Ich war an einem ruhigen Dienstagabend hier. Die Bedienung war freundlich und zügig, die vegetarischen Antipasti waren toll und der Grappa war phänomenal. Nichts für Touristen, die keine Zeit haben.

Einfach toll, schön eingerichtet, sehr freundliche Bedienung. Das Essen ist ne Wucht. Die Pizza schmeckt hervorragend und die Salate waren auch super frisch und sehr liebevoll und ansehnlich zubereitet. So macht es Spaß einen Abend zu verbringen.

Sehr netter Service, tolles Ambiente. Was wir nicht wussten, es ist ein Bio Laden. Das hat natürlich absolut seine Berechtigung, wir waren jedoch etwas weniger auf Vollkornpizza eingestellt. Die Qualität war aber sehr gut. Wir kommen gerne auf ein Getränk wieder.

Leider sowohl Service als auch Küche super langsam. Wir hatten eine Reservierung für 19:15 Uhr, waren allerdings schon um 19 Uhr da. Wir saßen draußen an einem der 10 Tische, davon waren mit uns 7 besetzt und drinnen war nur ein weiterer Tisch besetzt. Es hat trotzdem bis 19:15 Uhr gedauert, bis wir die Speisekarte hatten (obwohl es lt. QR-Code am Tisch ein Onlinetool zum Bestellen gäbe, welches allerdings nicht funktionierte). Um 19:35 Uhr wurde dann auch endlich unsere Bestellung für Getränke, Vorspeise und Hauptspeise aufgenommen. Um 20 Uhr (!!!) erhielten wir unsere Getränke, allerdings nicht in der richtigen Größe (0,5l Apfelschorle bestellt und 0,3l erhalten). Um 20:35 Uhr ging mein Partner ins Restaurant rein, um zu fragen, wie lang es denn jetzt noch dauert, weil wir bis 21 Uhr bezahlt haben müssten, da wir ein Kinoticket für im Anschluss hatten. Er wurde vertröstet, dass das Essen gleich kommen sollte. 10 Minuten später kam dann unsere Vorspeise (was auch keine richtige Bruschetta war - auf den Bildern bei Maps sieht das auch wie eine normale Bruschetta mit Baguettescheiben aus, aber wir bekamen ein "Schiffchen" aus Pizzateig und dann nicht nur Tomate, Knoblauch, Zwiebel, sondern auch Oliven? hat für mich nichts auf einer Bruschetta zu suchen. für den Preis dann auch nur so ein kleines Mini "Schiffchen" ist schon frech.) Das haben wir dann gegessen und sind dann aber sofort rein, um zu bezahlen und die 2 Getränke (es wurde natürlich die falsche Größe abgerechnet) plus die Bruschetta hatten 20,20€ gekostet. Es war dem Anschein nach auch eine universale Erfahrung für alle Gäste, dass das so lang dauerte. Wir haben das an allen Nebentischen gemerkt, dass sich beschwert wurde. Beim Zahlen hatten sich die beiden Kellnerinnen auch oft entschuldigt und gesagt, dass das in der Küche immer so lange dauert, aber wir dachten uns dann trotzdem, dass die selbst sehr langsam waren. Also Entschuldigung, aber ein Glas Wein einschenken und eine Apfelschorle zubereiten dauert jetzt keine halbe Stunde. Wir wären ohne uns zu beschweren und dann aufzustehen, nach 2½h noch da am Sitzen gewesen. Es waren auch richtig viele Gäste da, die eine ½h warten mussten, bis sie mal bezahlen konnten, weil die Kellnerinnen einfach nicht vorbei kamen. Ich habe auch öfters von Gästen um uns herum gehört, dass die Kellnerinnen nur vorne an der küche standen, und nicht wirklich was gemacht haben.

Wir hatten einen tollen Abend, das Essen war sehr lecker und der junge Kellner war überaus aufmerksam. Vielen Dank und bis zum nächsten Mal

Man wartet ewig auf essen und Getränke, Bedienung völlig überfordert. Gehen sie lieber woanders hin. Hier verhungern sie.

Leider kann ich über das Restaurant nur die Lage positiv erwähnen. Ansonsten war der Service unterirdisch, die Wartezeit betrug über eine Stunde, und die Pizza schmeckte lediglich nach Tomatenmark. Für die 4 kleinen Artischocken musste ich über 3 € hinblättern. Ebenfalls musste der Käse anscheinend extra bestellt werden, was für mich eigentlich eine Selbstverständlichkeit ist. Nicht weiterzuempfehlen 👎

Nicht zu empfehlen!!! Naben der Tatsache, dass man über eine Stunde auf das Essen warten muss, ist die Qualität und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis mehr als mangelhaft! Der Salat für 16 € besteht lediglich aus einer halben Karotte, einer Hand Eisbergsalat und ein paar Blättern Rucola. Zudem wurde der Salat in Essig und Öl ertränkt und völlig versalzen. Da kann man besser ein paar Meter weiter gehen und in einem der Nachbarlokale die nette Aussicht genießen.

Wir haben heute bei unserem JGA einen Pasta-Kochkurs in der Trattoria am Rathaus besucht und hatten eine rundum tolle Erfahrung. Die Atmosphäre war von Anfang an locker und angenehm – alle waren freundlich und offen, sodass man sich direkt wohlgefühlt hat. Der Kurs selbst war sehr gut aufgebaut: Alle Schritte wurden verständlich erklärt und anschaulich gezeigt, sodass auch Anfänger problemlos mitmachen konnten. Besonders schön waren die vielen hilfreichen Tipps und zusätzlichen Erklärungen. Das Highlight war natürlich das gemeinsame Essen am Ende – unsere selbstgemachten Nudeln waren richtig lecker! Vor allem der Nachtisch hat uns begeistert und war ein perfekter Abschluss. Wir wurden während des gesamten Kurses super betreut, gut unterhalten und bestens versorgt. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung – ideal für Gruppen und besondere Anlässe wie einen JGA!

Das Essen hat auf jeden Fall 5 Sterne verdient! Schmeckt frisch, lecker und mit Liebe zubereitet. Für Veganer gibt es eine breite Auswahl. Ich empfehle die Seitanstreifen in Tomaten-Knoblauchsauce! Der Nachtisch hat auch überzeugt. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Gegen 17 Uhr war es auch nicht überfüllt und man wurde schnell bedient.

Der Platz vor der Trattoria ist wunderschön. Leider war das Essen enttäuschend. Als Vorspeise hatten wir Bruschetta, hier waren die Tomaten eiskalt aus dem Kühlschrank, anschließend Pasta Frutti di Mare und vegane Tortellini sehr mäßig, vor allem die Tortellini bestanden aus einer unklaren Fülling, begleitend von einem starken Geschmack nach "Maggi". Der Knaller war eine Flasche Leitungswasser für unglaubliche 8.90 €.! Die Qualität war früher bedeutend besser. Wir werden uns wohl von diesem Lokal verabschieden. Sehr schade!

Erstmal: die mit Abstand beste Bolognese, die ich seit Italien gegessen habe. Es gibt hier im Umkreis keinen besseren Kaffee. Eine sehr fein zusammengestellte Karte mit Gerichten aus ungewöhnlich hochwertigen Zutaten in Bio-Qualität. Die Urkorn-Nudeln sind fantastisch. Insgesamt sehr einzigartig - besonders in dieser Qualität. Sehr liebevolle Einrichtung, tolles eigenes Design von Karten/Logo/etc., besondere Kursangebote, Bedienung freundlich - ich empfehle es jedem gerne weiter, einfach insgesamt sehr stimmig :-) Auch Onlineshop, Kurse und Kundenkommunikation top!

Wir waren Mitte Oktober 2025 mit Reservierung am Samstagabend dort. Reine Katastrophe: Wir wurden von "schlecht motivierten" lustlosen Studenten ignorant behandelt. Die Fakten: Bei Gästen, die nach uns kamen, wurde die Bestellung, trotz Blickkontakt, aufgenommen. Wir wurden permanent ignoriert. Nach 30 min sind wir gegangen. Schaffen Sie sich vernünftiges Personal an !!! Wir sind gerne bereit, dafür "den Euro" mehr zu bezahlen.

Unfortunately, despite having registered and made a reservation, we had to wait over an hour for our food. The pizzas arrived almost cold and inedible. One of the pizzas was so hard and dry that we had to return it. However, due to the extremely long wait for a new pizza, we decided to go home hungry. Overall, the place is very small and rustically decorated. That's not a problem in itself, but the seating is very cramped – almost like sitting at the next table.

A chance discovery: with six people on a Saturday evening. A truly typical trattoria, with just a few tables in a quaint space. Service was super friendly. The homemade pasta was first-class. Good luck with your continued success.

Unfortunately, it seems like you have to spend a lot of time here. At times, we felt forgotten. The food finally arrived just as we were about to inquire whether our order had gotten lost on its way to the kitchen. The pizza wasn't bad, but it was quite mild in flavor and a bit pricey (understandably so, given the organic ingredients). There are no pre-made pizza suggestions on the menu; you have to build your own, starting with a Margaritha. Each ingredient costs a different amount, so you tend to quickly do some back-and-forth calculations before deciding. The staff was very friendly. The overall impression was a bit casual. Be prepared for that. If you're looking for something more classic, you might be better off going to the pizza place across the street (fast service, good prices, same view).

A small restaurant with a concise menu. We ordered the antipasti platter with foccacia, which was truly unbelievably delicious! Whether it was the pizza rolls or the foccacia, both were fantastic! We visited the restaurant a few weeks ago, and it was one of the worst visits ever. When we arrived, it wasn't full yet, but it was quite busy. We waited almost two hours for our food. The restrooms were in dire need of renovation. On the way to the restrooms, I heard someone (the chef?) screaming and the waitress crying at the counter. The counter was also VERY messy. When the waitress finally brought us our food after almost two hours, we asked her if everything was okay, and she said, quite scared, "Yes."

We were here today before a concert, and the service was great and the food was perfect, just like we know it from Italy 🇮🇹. We had spezzatino, Italian goulash with homemade organic pasta 🍜, also available vegan 🤗😋

The trattoria has so much potential, and I'm really sorry to only give the service one star, but I have to be honest. We were there yesterday, and because we had to wait over an hour for our food, we noticed a lot. Unhappy guests, incorrectly taken orders, forgotten orders, forgotten cutlery... The tables were piled high with dirty dishes, etc. The poor waitress was completely overwhelmed. They urgently need more staff, preferably professionals, to make the trattoria an insider tip. I hope you can pull it off 🙏

Place was understaffed. We were not able to order food, because of the long waiting time. The server was friendly. Not a big menu, but you can assemble your own pizza and salades. So plenty of options to choose from, also vegan. Be careful with dogs though, there was a lot of broken glass on the ground outside.

We've known this restaurant for a while, but this time we were extremely disappointed. We waited 25 minutes before we could even order. The food arrived about an hour later. Guests who arrived after us had already finished their food. To make matters worse, one dish was forgotten.

We spontaneously stopped by for a drink. In the beautiful summer weather, we sat outside. There were several tables available. It took quite a while before we could finally choose and order drinks. By the time we finally got our three drinks, it had been about 45 minutes since we arrived. The employee said she was there for the second day, but only occasionally did another colleague come outside (there was no one inside) to bring drinks or food. It's all well and good that new employees take longer, but you need someone to help you at the beginning. I can't personally comment on the food. But from what we could see or hear from the neighboring tables, it was apparently good. When the drinks arrived, we paid immediately, as it would have probably taken a while otherwise. Beautiful location right on the market square.

Ate super delicious apple strudel made from Grandma's recipe. Absolutely delicious! 😋 👍 Pasta, salad, and tiramisu were also delicious!!! 😋

We waited 30 minutes just to get drinks, and even after 50 minutes, the food still wasn't there. The staff was approached several times by guests who told them they'd been waiting a long time, and some left. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it under these circumstances.

I had the pleasure of visiting the trattoria at the town hall as part of a team event – ​​and what can I say: Simply fantastic! As soon as you enter the trattoria, you can tell that a lot of heart and soul have gone into the work here. The location is charming, cozy, and quaint. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands. A very special highlight for us was Lorenzo, with his warm manner, professionalism, and passion for high-quality and sustainable food. He personally looked after our group, made recommendations, and made sure we lacked nothing. The food? A dream! He conjured up a fantastic tomato sauce to go with the homemade pasta. I'm already looking forward to my next visit – next time privately and just for dinner 😉. Thank you, Lorenzo!

We took a cooking class with Lorenzo. He immediately made us feel at home ("you can just get drinks from behind the bar") and prepared pasta with us with a love for sustainable food. Since yesterday, I've known that it's truly worth tossing homemade pasta in a delicious chocolate sauce with nuts, spices, and red pepper: a poem!

Basic pizza costs 12.90 plus 2 toppings each for 3.90 pineapple 6 pieces at least fresh and tuna, also rather clear. Max 2/3 of the pizza covered Endless tomato sauce. My wife had a lasagna with a few crumbly minced meat, tomato sauce and cheese, cost 17.90 plus a pizza over €20. No price-performance ratio. Never again

Definitely not recommended. Four of us were there during the week of May. We were aware that it could take time. But waiting over an hour for pizza is rude. They didn't get together either. One was already full before the last one arrived. In terms of taste, it was something for the A.... no chance of cutting it, completely overpriced, rock hard. The best thing was the drinks. But you can't go wrong there. They can't do math either. Instead of 100 euros, they wanted to deduct 150 euros from us. DANGER! ALWAYS DO THE CALCULATION. Please don't look behind the counter, there isn't even a glass sink. Glasses are rubbed with lint with your fingers. Disgusting!! I'm thinking about informing the health department. I don't talk about the toilet facility here, then I'll really break down. The shop should be closed.

Overall a disappointment... Was in the restaurant with friends at 7:30 p.m. and was served food at 9:15 p.m.... Far too long a wait for pasta with chicken breast strips or, for my friends, chicken breast with four asparagus spears... The food tasted great… Service (although I wouldn't call it that because it didn't take place) was completely overwhelmed, unfortunately I had no idea about the dishes on offer on a very clear menu because the selection wasn't that huge. At least the lady was friendly, but simply clueless... I'm just visiting Osnabrück, so I won't be back...If I lived here, I would definitely never visit this restaurant again...

There were 8 of us there today, with prior reservations. And I have to say that we have never had an experience like this and unfortunately not in a positive sense. We waited 1.5 hours for the worst food ever. The first two were almost finished before the seventh meal came, the last meal didn't even come. I have no words for it. Definitely we won't go there again!

It's unbelievable what you get here for the money. 1.5 hours for a pizza which was really disgusting. And two anchovies for 3.50 on top. The great location doesn't take away from that.

Today I had a ricotta and pistachio pesto pizza🍕 with fine almond slivers and fresh basil🌱so delicious!!😋 The trattoria at the town hall is simply a very special place where enjoyment and cosiness are lived and a restaurant chef who still collects wild garlic in the forest himself and has been cooking with passion all his life is probably quite rare...

Actually, you can't recommend this restaurant, we had to wait almost 2 hours for our food and then the noodles were cold. The service tried very hard, but unfortunately was completely overwhelmed for far too many tables. Please optimize your planning and organization, then it can be very nice.

We were happy to find a place that offered gluten-free pizza because my son has celiac disease. So we wanted to eat there last Wednesday. He specifically called there on Tuesday to see if they had GF pizza on Wednesday. "Yes". Super. I came specially and was looking forward to a lovely evening. Unfortunately there was no GF pizza there. We were super disappointed. The mother's heart bleeds at such a moment. You don't even know what you're doing to a celiac. It's frustrating enough to have such a limited offer with this disease. So we left and looked for another place. What a shame.

Quaint restaurant, when you look around you can see many reused materials, such as: E.g. wine corks and wine boxes on the walls. At times it seems a bit “rumpy” and chaotic. The food was very tasty, the service was friendly and attentive. Prices a little higher but definitely justified. The location is great in the old town, there are also very nice places outside. Very nice that you can also order vegan pizza and pasta here. You order a margherita and select the desired toppings yourself. The sauce on the pizza could still be improved. They make the pasta themselves and you can choose between two types (Hartweizen and Vollkorn). Very friendly service. There are also some products on the shelves that you can buy.

Unfortunately, the food is really just mediocre and is characterized by a boring taste despite good and fresh ingredients. For two pasta dishes and a starter you're looking at €60-70 and that's just not right considering the mediocrity. And the service...well that always seems to be the Achilles tendon of this restaurant...it's always tried hard. The service seems haphazard, overwhelmed, doesn't know about unavailable food, doesn't say goodbye. (Takes the tip, turns around and leaves) I would really like to give this place a better rating...but the experience speaks for itself. Too bad.

Unfortunately, the visit started disappointingly as the restaurant only opened its doors at 5:30 p.m. despite the official opening time (5 p.m. according to Google). We were finally granted entry with little enthusiasm. Overall, the service seemed uncoordinated and not very attentive. After a wait of over an hour, the food was finally served. Unfortunately, the tomato salad we ordered was disappointing: a single beefsteak tomato, just sliced ​​and served with a few onions, lacked a lot of creativity and generosity for the price of 7.50 euros. The drinks prices also seemed disproportionate: we were charged 9.50 euros for a bottle of water that was obviously tap water, which the waitress also served to us. The main course itself had good beginnings, as the noodles with mushrooms had a solid taste, but the tofu ordered as a topping was hardly tasteable and was charged separately for 4 euros, an additional expense that did not seem justified for the result offered. Finally, we tried the mousse au chocolat, which tasted appealing. Unfortunately, the portion was extremely small and was more reminiscent of molecular cuisine. The atmosphere also seemed a bit loveless and uncomfortable, a wobbling table where we had to remove the beer mats ourselves and extremely hard chairs made sitting a challenge. The relaxed atmosphere could be inviting if you just want to stop by for a quick glass of wine. However, a longer visit to a restaurant for a hearty dinner seems less recommended here. For the total amount of 55 euros per person, we would have expected a significantly higher quality and a better price-performance ratio.

Nice restaurant with very nice and friendly staff. Food is very tasty. If you are several people, it is best to reserve a table. And anyone who can't tolerate gluten is also in good hands here, as you can also get gluten-free food here. We liked it very much.

The tasty pizzas were eaten and we will go again. A wonderfully idyllic and cozy place to eat. The service is excellent. The window view of the church is very good, beautiful in the evening light.

never again.... ordered via Lieferando... After an hour I checked the app... it says: not delivering today! I ordered somewhere else... The other one also delivered... And when I was halfway through the pizza, the bell rang and I then had 2 pizzas! I'm full of one, the other goes in the bin! Thanks for almost 23€!

If you want to spend 2-3 hours, this is the place for you 🙈 Friendly service, yes, but without any indication that the food won't arrive for another 2 hours 🤷🏼‍♂️. We even had to wait 30 minutes for our first drink! Anyone who is traveling through, like us, should find out about the situation beforehand. We felt sorry for the completely overwhelmed team and also laughed with other guests 😀 So we could barely bear it!
