We had lunch. The restaurant is situated downtown Kassel at the Königsplatz circle. The menu is Italian with a good selection of salads, several different pizzas and pasta dishes, and also some traditional Italian desserts. We chose some pizza and chicken salad accompanied by cool Lambrusco and mineral water. The food was good and the service excellent.

The noodles were watery and the sauce was missing all sorts of spices. Waitress without words, shouts through the beer garden, which can be handled differently. With her long fingernails on a pizza that you want to eat straight away. It's a shame that they don't value decent staff. Toilet unclean, empty rolls lying around on the floor. I'd rather spend my money somewhere else than there.

I loved the pasta with zucchini and shrimp. The lemonade was also very good (not too sweet). The bill was 20 euros, which wasn't expensive. The portion was so large that there was no room left for dessert.

Super nice place, with good service, really good food and plenty of it. Can definitely recommend the place and it's also a nice place with children, just remember that you get nice big pizzas.

Ordered two beers, a salad and a BBQ pizza. The pizza was very greasy, with oil floating on the top. Salad is common: iceberg lettuce, a few tomatoes, a little chicken and the price was very overpriced, for such a set of products 15 euros is expensive... Nice waiters, nice service, asked how it went, we told them - they shrugged(. Beautiful flowers all around, tables very close.

My pregnant wife and I were on the terrace during our lunch break today. Since we didn't want to sit in the blazing sun, because my wife is very sensitive to the sun during pregnancy, we sat down at a table for 4 people, where we We wanted to meet other employees for dinner. The very unfriendly and disrespectful employee ordered us to sit at the table for 2 people in the blazing sun without asking whether there were any other people coming or anything else, even though there were still a few other tables available. Given this behavior, we got up and left without any real discussion. When it comes to service, I would always avoid this restaurant! It's unbelievable how you can treat guests like that, you can't think of much about it.

The pizza there was very tasty, incredibly large and even quite cheap. Despite being busy, our order was ready quickly.

Disrespectful and not good service

Today after a busy day (a lot on the go) we just wanted something to eat. According to Google, the restaurant was open until 12 p.m. So we went there. We were told on site at 8:30 p.m. that the kitchen was now closing. Reason: “Because Germany lost.” I really thought this was a joke. The waiter then told us you could go somewhere else. So are we. So I've never heard anything like that before. Close the restaurant because of football as if someone had died. Questionable. It was our first time in the Losteria and also our last time. So attracting new guests was just as successful as the game today.

Loved the pizza and pasta. Very tasty food and good value. We ended up eating here both nights we were in Kassel. Friendly staff and a very clean restaurant.

It's crazy how delicious and gigantic the pizzas are. Thin base, well coated, not too oily. You can watch in the open kitchen. Ambience ok. Price performance ratio good. Service very friendly. We'll be happy to come back and we'll feed hungry teenagers here.

Been to L'Osteria Kleve a while ago. Yesterday in Kassel. What a difference! I had the same dish but it tasted really different. It says spicy dish. In Kleve I thought it wasn't too bad, just spicy enough. In Kassel, a bucket of water could not have extinguished the fire. I love garlic... And spicy, but this was way too much! It's like chewing a raw head of garlic... Just right at one location, way too much at another.... Same concept, same dish??? Middle ground would be nice! The location in Kassel is excellent and the staff is very friendly. The prices are also very fair! Definitely recommended, but the penne arrabiata can really vary per location.

I have been a loyal customer of this Italian restaurant for quite some time and usually enjoy their excellent service and delicious food . However, my recent visit was extremely disappointing and has left me questioning if I will ever return. From the moment we walked in, it was clear we were being ignored. Despite the servers having nothing to do, we were completely overlooked. We had to fetch the menus ourselves as no one bothered to bring them to us. Even after we had the menus, we were still ignored, while new guests who arrived after us were promptly attended to. It was evident that the poor treatment we received was because we are foreigners, as we were the only ones being neglected. This kind of discrimination is unacceptable and unprofessional. After waiting for an unreasonable amount of time with no service, we decided to leave and take our business elsewhere. It's a shame because I have had good experiences here before, but this encounter has left a sour taste in my mouth. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses this issue to ensure no other customers have to experience such disrespect.

The pizza was great! The dough was really good and the pizza was very big. Unfortunately the service was a bit "unfriendly". Probably because it was very busy and there was little staff to be seen. But very tasty!

It is a safe choice when searching for a pizza restaurant. The pizzas are quite big, but also very tasty. Due to the size it is possible to share a pizza, as it should be enough for 2 persons.

If you as a restaurant are unable to answer the phone, then it's better to close.

I was with a business partner around lunchtime today. Unfortunately I was treated very disrespectfully and very rudely. The waitress thinks I'm not welcome here. I find it very terrible to talk and behave like that with customers.

The very (really very!) large pizzas are really impressive and add a certain experience. However, the beautiful pizzas are very, very thin and the toppings are very sparsely distributed. So you should take into account that you have to drink a lot ;-) Unfortunately, the overall conclusion is that although it's funny, you can get better pizzas elsewhere for the money.

Very good food, we ordered Spaghetti Bolognes and Pasta Carbonara. Really very tasty, large portions, affordable prices, atmospheric place. The service is quite chaotic, several waiters run up to the table from time to time and ask if everything is OK. However, you have to be patient when you want to pay. Nevertheless, I highly recommend it, a real feast for the palate.

Went there on May 3, 2024 to have a delicious Italian meal at the end of our vacation. The food was terrible. Both dishes were made in one pot or pan because I had noodles from the other dish in my dish. The other person's food was warm, mine was only lukewarm or cold. Neither dish tasted good either. Much too sharply tuned or killed in mass. That was really bad, the food itself didn't have much taste... Eating out there probably means being overwhelmed with huge portions or getting pasta that tastes like supermarket items. And then the cheap kind. The Striezel from the StreetFood Festival was 100 thousand times better. I would advise not to eat here anymore.

The pizzas are very tasty and the price-performance ratio is right. 2 pizzas a large drink small water 1* espresso 1*cappuccino approx. 50€. Staff is nice and accommodating. Toilets were clean. Ambience is pleasant.

The place is beautiful and cozy. Here you can have a delicious meal, or simply drink coffee and enjoy the evening city. The only thing is that the service disappointed me a little, because in some places of the cafe there are "blind spots". Waitresses may simply ignore you. I had to go to the cashier after 30 minutes and pay on my own..

Never again! After a long day in Kassel we were hungry and especially thirsty, so off we went to L'Osteria. We were quickly invited in at the door and given a small table in the middle of the crowd in the back room. Way too many tables and everything full of people. The cards were on the tables so we could choose something straight away. After 25 minutes without any service, we set off again. I've never experienced anything like that! A waitress, always passing by the table, didn't notice us either. My partner brought this up and she gave the excuse that she didn't have a wallet with her. Can't you let your colleagues know about this? We are really disappointed. Regular guests were served immediately.

I can't say anything about the food. Because we didn't even get to do that... unfortunately... we were the first guests at 11:30 a.m. and wanted to sit at two different tables. An employee immediately came up to us and said we all had to sit at a table. I politely asked if it was possible for us to sit at two tables because it was obviously not obvious to me why it wouldn't work (we were the first guests) The employee then made it clear very energetically that there would be a very large crowd coming soon and that all tables would be occupied within minutes... I thought it was a joke and politely asked again what was happening with the second table. But the employee became a little more angry and louder and scared us away with his rude, disrespectful and inappropriate behavior. And he asked us to sit down at a table. It's a shame, that was our first and last experience at L'Osteria in Kassel

I have no words for the food, it's very good, the river shells are delicious and tasty, I recommend the pizza, which is very good and very large, the children's chair fits, a highly recommended place, I would happily go there again. Very friendly service, relaxed atmosphere, unfortunately the pizza here is not as tasty as at our partner, L'Osteria in Göttingen, which has crispier dough and more tasty toppings. Maybe ask the pizza maker there for his recipe! Everything else was delicious! Come again!

Simply a shame for others!!! The two of us have been back to L'osteria for a long time! After a wait of almost 40 minutes, we were finally noticed by a tattooed waitress, even though there were exactly 3 tables with 2 guests each. Of course not by itself, but because we have drawn attention to ourselves several times. The cute tattooed waitress Janina was busy entertaining her homies who knew her!! We were literally shouted at, anything we could think of to disturb her, she was talking about whether we could see that. It's just unbelievable what was going on!! It's simply unbelievable and no one really believes what they experienced there. It's just sad that the responsible person didn't recognize or didn't recognize such incorrect handling of the employees with the paying guests.

Went there again today after a long time because we were satisfied the first time. Today, however, we were very disappointed; we had a lasagne that shouldn't really be called that. Small cut square in a black small bowl, zero flavor, appeared to be frozen food. The sauce was simply watery and unseasoned, little ground beef. Catastrophe! I read in the reviews here that several people have already complained about the lasagna and it won't change. A pity! The pizza was way too big, dry, with few toppings. This branch is done for me. The staff was friendly, but very overexcited. Never again.

It wasn't bad but nothing special and there are definitely way better Italian restaurants in Kassel. Still nice to go there.

Usually a nice shop with delicious food. Unfortunately this time it was a disaster. We were seated at a table that was far too narrow, even though there were still several seats available in the upper area. We then independently moved up to the other guests. We were then no longer served and other guests were preferred. When we spoke to the waitress, she replied rudely that she was overwhelmed and if we didn't want to wait, we should leave... Well, then you don't feel like spending over a hundred euros ;) As we walked out there was a smug “See you next time” from behind the counter. By the way, there are two stars because a waiter upstairs was friendly.

The pizzas are really delicious and are a great size. Anything you can't manage will be happily packed up to take with you. The waitresses are all very friendly and it has always been very clean. The atmosphere is generally very cozy. The only negative thing I can say is that on our last visit the cola was completely carbonated, which was a real shame. Otherwise everything is wonderful!

Das Ambiente ist schön, das Personal nett und hilfsbereit. Das Essen ist leider eine Katastrophe. Hatte eine Lasagne, die kam perfekt rechteckig zugeschnitten und offensichtlich als ein Fabrikprodukt. Und ja: in der Mitte war sie sogar noch halb gefroren... Für das Geld einfach nur frech. Natürlich haben sie die Lasagne dann nochmal wärmer gemacht. Geschmeckt hat sie dann trotzdem mäßig. Eben eine Tiefkühllasagne. Wenn ich die will, kaufe ich mir eine bei Rewe, in Restaurant erwarte ich eine selbst gemachte.

Ich war entsetzt, wie groß die Pizzen sind! Niemand kann allein eine solche Pizza essen, das ist eine unglaubliche Verschwendung! Viele Menschen müssen hungern und bei ihnen wird absichtlich Nahrung weg geworfen! Eine Schande!!

Bedienung sehr freundlich , die weibliche Ablöse allerdings war dann freundlich hektisch völlig überdreht , man hätte sich gewünscht , sie hätte einen Gang zurückgeschaltet...Ihre Fingernägel unangenehm überlang...wir waren direkt an der offenen Küche platziert , das Personal war dort zu laut fröhlich mit ständigem sehr lauten Gelächter , was dann irgendwann anfing zu nerven , obwohl gegen ein gutes Betriebsklima nichts einzuwenden ist..das war aber eindeutig zuviel des Guten und durch die offene Raumteilung der Küche zum Gästebereich einfach sehr störend....gebackene Pizza wurde aus unserer Sicht mit bloßen Händen von der Bedienung aus einer Schublade mit Käse und Salat belegt und an den Tusch gebracht.. dazu kam sie vorher aus dem Restaurantbereich ohne sich die Hände gewaschen zu haben...das fand ich mehr als unangenehm... Meine Spaghetti carbonara waren trocken , geschnacklich langweilig..die Spaghetti zu fest und nicht richtig heiss..die als topping bestellten Chamignons kaum als solche erkennbar.. wie aufgewärmt...und wirklich sehr wenig...ich hätte es zurück gehen lassen sollen...keine Ahnung , warum ich es nicht gemacht habe.. Die Pizzas sehr groß und gut belegt , aber nur für Leute , die megadünne Pizzen mögen..die Geschmäcker sind halt verschieden.. Alles in allem gibt es weitaus qualitativ in jeglicher Hinsicht bessere Pizzerien in Kassel und Umgebung...

Man kann zwar Pech haben und kein Platz bekommen obwohl es viele gibt aber das spiegelt nur die super Qualität und den Geschmack aus und die Freundlichkeit des Personals und das man sich wie in Italien daheim fühlt. Super freundlich und super lecker. Und satt wird jeder.

Leckere große Pizza, wir teilten unsere Pizza und bestellten je einen Salat dazu, war kein Problem sondern auch auf der Karte vorgeschlagen. Fanden wir super.

The lasagna and pasta made out of zucchini was very good, but the 1 pasta on the menu of seafood pasta (I think it was with crab) was very bland.

Wir waren leider sehr enttäuscht. Das Lokal war brechend voll, die Tische sehr dicht beieinander und somit wenig Platz und extrem laut. Die Pizza war groß, sehr groß. Das war’s aber auch. Mein Belag war auf einem Haufen in der Mitte lieblos hingelegt und geschmacklich absolut nicht überzeugt. Schade. Wir waren das erste mal in der Losteria im Bali Urlaub und freuten uns auf etwas „vergleichbares“

Wir hatten einen Vorspeisenteller für 5 Personen. Sehr lieblos angerichtet. Danach Lasagne, die überhaupt nicht schmeckte. Mein Fazit: Sehr enttäuschend und nicht zu empfehlen.

Man fühlt sich super wohl, essen ist sehr gut und das Personal sehr freundlich. Gerne wieder!

Price Quality is good, its a simple restaurant, but the Quality is consistent. Everything they serve is just good. Dont expect the best meal of your life, but they keep it simple and it tastes good. Coffee is good , the antipasti starter is good , pizzas are huge but thin crust. For non Italian standards the pastas are good as well. I come here once every 2 or 3 months

Alles okay keine lange Wartezeit und gutes Essen aber 5 Sternen dafür reichte es bei mir nicht.

Wir haben gestern unsre Weihnachtsfeier dort verbracht und ich habe mal wieder erlebt wie Massenabfertigung geht. Die Pizzen sind lieblos belegt und unapettitlich groß. Der Laden ist viel zu voll und keine schöne Atmosphäre. Meine Kollegen waren über andere Essen ebenfalls enttäuscht und keiner von uns wird dort mehr hingehen......

Schöner Laden mitten im Zentrum. Essen war super. Schöner Abend.

Super leckere Pizza, schöne Location. Die offene Küche ist sehr interessant. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Leider wurde uns ein Tisch zugewiesen, obwohl alles frei war und während unseres Besuches nicht besetzt wurde.

Schöner Laden mit nettem Service. Essen hat nach meinem Geschmack zu lange gedauert (etwa 30 Minuten für Pasta) und leider waren diese teilweise noch roh gewesen, sehr schade…
