Hatte hier jeweils einmal die Pizza und auch die Pasta. Beide gerichte sind sehr lecker. Zusätzlich hatte ich noch einen Wein zur empfehlung bekommen, dieser hat auch gut geschmeckt. Kartenzahlung war kein Problem und das Essen wurde schnell serviert.

Waren zu Acht vor Ort. Für uns wurden dementsprechend die Tische verschoben und auch Rücksicht genommen das wir mehrere sind beim Bestellen und servieren, Das Personal war immer sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen hat allen gefallen.

Kann nur eine positive Bewertung und meinen Dank da lassen. Perfektes Ambiente. Waren zum Jahrestag mit meiner Frau hier und hatten einen besonderen Abend.

Top! Ich musste geschäftlich in Kassel sein und wollte nicht nur gewöhnliches essen sondern mir auch etwas gönnen. Von der Pizza bis zum Dessert, alles sehr lecker und ansehnlich. Auch keine Probleme ein Bewirtungsbeleg zu bekommen.

Sehr stillvolles und einladendes Ambiente. Das kleine rote Auto vor dem Eingang hat uns in das Restaurant gelockt und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Alles sehr lecker.

Great food, great service, great ambience, if we weren't from Trier this would be our favorite pizzeria.

The food was good, true. But, big BUT - we had reserved a group for the winter garden, when we came we were supposed to sit outside under the awning - in heavy rain and wind.⛈️🌬️ Great! When we asked, we were assigned a table in the winter garden, but probably only because another group had canceled. If someone makes a reservation for the winter garden and it is promised to them, then that should be the case, without asking again. Then the operator is not allowed to accept so many reservations, that's actually very simple. I basically sat with my back at a table for two, which means that the tables were far too close together, which creates an incredible background noise when the hut is full. By comfort I mean something completely different. Then we had to wait a long time, in my opinion far too long, for the food. Guests who arrived later received their food sooner, very strange. The boss expected understanding, with a full house and 150 seats. I'll put it this way: If the tables were at an 'acceptable' distance, there would perhaps only be 100 seats. But the tables were so close that the staff could hardly move between the guests. When the food finally came, some of the friends had to pass it on because the service couldn't make it to the table from behind due to the narrow space. But the big thing was the billing, the waitress got confused when listing things and complained because so many people were talking at once (but that could only have been from the surrounding tables). And ultimately, inexplicably, there was still an amount outstanding, even though everyone had truthfully listed what they had eaten. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Doesn't that sound like a nice, cozy evening? That's correct!!

Die gemütliche Atmosphäre von Da Vinci haben wir sehr geschätzt. Das Essen war einfach fantastisch! Die Pasta war perfekt al dente und die Soße hatte genau die richtige Würze. Unser Kellner war freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich komme definitiv wieder!

We ate very well. The chef here knows his craft. The atmosphere is chic, but still pleasant. The service was also very good at the beginning. When it got busy, our waiter had to serve too many tables. There may also have been short-term staff shortages here. Otherwise, I like the restaurant, especially the food, much better than I did 2 years ago. We'll definitely come back.

Das Davinci Kassel ist großartig! Die Atmosphäre war so gemütlich und das Essen war absolut lecker. Der Service war erstklassig und die Preise waren angemessen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

We waited over 1.5 hours for our food, the drinks had to be taken again because they apparently disappeared after the first order. At the entrance you had to wait 5-10 minutes while the staff kept walking past you and you weren't really noticed. However, the food tasted good and the furnishings/ambience were also very good and looked new. When the food was delivered, the bill was requested straight away, but no one came to collect until we had finished eating. Put the money down and then left. The service can really be improved. Not for us again.

The food is really good and authentic. Beautiful interior design with attention to detail. The level of service was unfortunately much below the level that the place otherwise presented. We didn't get half of our order and we had to wait 15 minutes to pay. During the time we waited we were ignored and neglected. It disappointed us a lot.

The food is delicious, the service in our case wasn't breathtaking, we forgot drinks and took things from the table without asking. (They took the ashtray away from us even though we had smokers at the table. They cleared away the glasses without asking if we wanted anything else.)

We come here every now and then. The food is mostly good and the service is friendly. A few weeks ago we had some bad luck with the service. She asked if we wanted dessert. I said yes and briefly complained that I had the wrong main course. After that she forgot to take the order. When we asked for the bill, she wanted to bring it too. After 15 minutes we asked another waitress who then said that our waitress had already finished work. He must have forgotten us. Recently we were there with a slightly larger group with a reservation. The table was not prepared. The food for everyone came relatively at the same time, but unfortunately some dishes were only lukewarm. One dish wasn't cooked properly and had to be "reworked" twice. I expect a little more from a restaurant in this price range, hence only 3 stars.

It was cozy. My girlfriend got something different than what she ordered. I didn't get what was ordered either. But it was still tasty.

Wir waren aus der Schweiz zum Besuch der Familie in Kassel und haben uns das Da Vinci nach einer Empfehlung ausgesucht. War ein gute Entscheidung weil wir einen schönen Abend hatten. Die einzelnen Speisen waren super lecker und auch abwechslungsreich. Auch die Portionen waren üppig.

Fantastisches Essen mit tollem Wein. Das Restaurant ist gut besucht und das zurecht. Das Personal auch sehr freundlich gewesen. Gerne wieder.

The “DaVinci” restaurant is an absolute tip for gourmets. The location is ideal, right in the historic center. The ambience is stylish and inviting, perfect for special occasions. The menu offers an exquisite selection of regional and international dishes, prepared with great attention to detail. The service is attentive and friendly, making the visit a completely successful experience. A must for anyone who appreciates good food in great surroundings.

Pizza was good, nice thin dough, plenty of toppings, great selection, but the staff was overwhelmed. Unfortunately we had to wait almost 1 hour for our food (Wednesday evening!). Price-wise it's on the upper side, but still okay given the quantity and quality

Poor acoustics due to tiled floors and background music generally too loud. The waitress had to ask again when two people ordered and brought the wrong cola. The price is pretty demanding, the quality is pretty okay. Saltimbocca sauce is ready one minute after serving. All in all too expensive for the performance.

Was there on my birthday 🎂 with my fiancée and her daughter. It was very delicious and the atmosphere was fantastic. We had a very nice evening there together. Definitely we will visit DAVINCI again and enjoy the package. The price is completely okay. The staff was very, very friendly and the food tasted fantastic. Unfortunately only Fritz Cola and no Pepsi... but that doesn't make the rating worse. It's nice that there are still such good pizzas and pastas in Kassel. Quality of food is very important to me. We were there on a Wednesday evening and were served in a friendly and attentive manner. The food (salad, tagliatelle, meat dish) was tasty and the portions were large.

Good ambience, but food too expensive

We visited Da Vinci restaurant and were happy with the starters, especially the bread with olive oil was delicious. However, we noticed that the staff were a little careless (it wasn't very busy) and the plates remained for a long time despite several employees passing by. Little or only late attention was paid to empty drinks. The main course, Linguini al Mare, was rich in seafood, however the pasta lacked flavor and spices. The pizza was good on the edges but a bit tough in the middle. For dessert, Sorbetto Basilico and Creme Brulee, the Creme Brulee could have been creamier and warmer and it seemed like it wasn't homemade. Personally, the basil flavored sorbetto wasn't my cup of tea. The cloakroom was very remote and you couldn't see it. In addition, despite our expenses for 2 starters, 6 main courses (only pizza and pasta) and 2 desserts, there was no espresso or schnapps on the house, even though there were 6 of us there. We weren't even asked if we wanted a coffee or espresso at the end, which is usually what we do. (with payment of course) Given the high prices compared to the quality offered, we find the restaurant to be too expensive despite its reputation. Although our visit wasn't bad, we see no reason to visit again. We recommend everyone to take a look for themselves.

The pasta dishes are awesome!!!

It was my first time in Kassel for work and I had dinner here with some work colleagues and my customer (around 20 people). Shortly after we sat down, at my request, a few water bottles were handed out to us at the table and these were automatically replaced with new ones when they were empty. Then there were very tasty various appetizers from grilled vegetables to good ones spread out on the tables Bread to meat. The main course was similarly good, Tim Boca was probably very good and my pizza with daily vegetables was also a pleasure. The wine selection was also very good. We were very satisfied and will eat there again at our next customer meeting.

Pizza und Pasta hab ich schon besser und günstiger woanders gehabt. Alles ziemlich teuer!

Mehrmals im Da Vinci gegessen und jedes Mal leider ziemlich enttäuschende Erfahrungen gemacht. Das Essen ist wirklich nichts Besonderes; Antipasti ganz okay, Fleisch und Pasta mittelmäßig, Risotto ein Desaster. Kein guter Espresso. Solide Weinauswahl und Cocktails. Service ist allerdings sehr freundlich und bemüht, das ist ein Pluspunkt. Alles in allem, ziemlich überbewertet.

Haben hier unsere standesamtliche Trauung gefeiert und wir würden es immer wieder machen und jedem vom Herzen empfehlen. Super 4-Gänge-Menü, welches im Vornherein vom Koch perfekt durchdacht war. Alles wurde nach unseren Wünschen erfüllt und wir konnten in Ruhe im Kaminzimmer „feiern“. Nochmal einen riesen Dank an das gesamte Team!

Wir haben das Risotto mit Trüffeln und Nudeln bestellt. Der Trüffel Geschmack im Risotto war leider nicht Vorhanden. Nachdem wir das angemerkt haben, wurde uns erst gesagt, dass es so seine Richtigkeit hat und beim zweiten Mal (anderer Service) bekamen wir eine Schale mit Trüffeln. Dann haben wir verstanden, warum es nicht nach Trüffeln Schmecken konnte, da auch dieser kein Trüffel Geschmack hatte. Der zweite Service war sehr nett und entgegenkommen. Die Nudeln waren unserer Meinung auch zu Al dente und wir mögen Al dente. Der Wein (Primitivo) war sehr gut. Die Wasserflaschen wurden uns auf dem Tisch gestellt und nicht eingeschenkt. Bei den Preisen, wünscht man sich doch etwas mehr.

Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker und ausreichend, leckerer Wein, der Service sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir haben uns definitiv willkommen gefühlt. Da es geregnet hatte, konnten wir leider nicht draußen sitzen, aber drin ist es einladend und gemütlich. Gerne wieder.

Ein toller Abend mit Freunden im Da Vinci, insbesondere das live zubereitete Dessert (gegrillte Ananas mit Walnüssen, einer Kugel Eis und einem Schuss Ölivenölkaramell) von Pino war ein Traum. Gerne wieder!

Superfreundlicher Service, nettes Ambiente und sehr leckeres Essen - absolut empfehlenswert!

Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Auch sitzt man sehr gut – an schönen Tagen – rund um das Restaurant. Hier sitzt man geschützt und bekommt wenig vom Verkehr drum herum mit. Unsere Aperitifs waren mal etwas anderes als meistens angeboten wird. Sie schmeckten uns auch gut. Die gemischte Vorspeise ist auf jeden empfehlenswert. Wir teilten sie uns. Sie war auch reichhaltig. Meine Hauptspeise von der Tageskarte – Schwertfisch mit Erbsen-Pürree und Kartoffel-Drillingen war auch mal etwas Anderes und schmeckte auch gut. Nur die Pizza meiner Frau war eben eine Pizza. Sie schmeckte überall gleich und wurde dann mit der Zeit langweilig und zu viel. Insgesamt waren es ein schöner Abend. Lediglich das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis von Aperitif und Pizza könnte sich etwas in einem niedrigeren Preis niederschlagen. Das allgemeine Preisniveau ist hier etwas höher. Man zahlt halt für das Ambiente mit.

Leider etwas hochpreisig für meinen Geldbeutel....

Overpriced average Italian food. Service is okay. Staff not overly friendly.

Die Terrasse ist die schönste in der Stadt, super an warmen Tagen bei einer Flasche Wein. Immer wieder ein Genuss mit sehr freundlichem, aufmerksamen Personal! Wir waren bereits mindestens 50x hier und waren jedes Mal begeistert! Die Gerichte haben eine hervorragende Qualität, sie werden mit viel Liebe gekocht und serviert.

Gutes Essen, die Herren im Service schienen alle noch in der Einarbeitung zu sein, aber an sich ein guter Restaurantbesuch.

Wir sind regelmäßig im Da Vinci, wenn wir uns als Freunde mal einen schönen gemeinsamen Abend machen wollen, dafür lohnt sich der etwas höhere Preis unserer Meinung nach auch. Die Pizza ist die beste Pizza Kassels, außer Frage :) Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist immer sehr angenehm und die Bedienung unheimlich aufmerksam. Wir haben jetzt schon häufiger das Glück gehabt, von Arash bedient worden zu sein, der nicht nur extrem freundlich und lustig, sondern vor allem geduldig ist, wenn wir uns wieder nicht für einen Wein entscheiden können. Danke noch einmal für deine Geduld, Arash! :) Wir freuen uns jetzt schon wieder auf unseren nächsten Besuch!

Ich war jetzt zweimal im da Vinci. Von den vier Gerichten dort waren zwei sehr gut und die anderen beiden sensationell. Die Speisekarte bietet Ausgefallenes. Der Service war super. Bei der nächsten Reise nach Kassel komme ich bestimmt wieder.

Wir haben uns auf einen ruhigen gemütlichen Abend bei leckerem Essen gefreut. Grundsätzlich ist das Essen lecker gewesen. Die Getränke eher unterirdisch teuer. Vier Aperitif für 48€, mehr als übertrieben. Dazu kam, dass es sehr laut im Restaurant war und der Service eher mau. Die leeren Gläser stapelten sich auf unserem Tisch. Wir werden wohl so schnell nicht wieder dorthin gehen. Schade!

Ich war dienstlich in Kassel unterwegs und bin abends zufällig auf das Da Vinci gestoßen. Ich wurde von der Bedienung sehr freundlich in Empfang genommen und den ganzen Abend betreut. Ich entschied mich für das Überraschungsmenü. Und ich muss sagen, ich war wirklich überrascht. Ich bekam ein 5-Gängemenü serviert, welches ich nicht in einem italienischen Restaurant, sondern eher in einem Sternerestaurant erwartet hätte. Die einzelne Gänge waren abwechslungsreich und voller Raffinesse. Ich werde definitiv wiederkommen.

The staff were very friendly and attentive and made our dinner quite special. The food was absolutely fantastic, flavours, texture ans presentation were amazing. We have been here a few times already and will come back again soon.

Wir hatten bestellt und waren mit 8 Personen. Nach 1:15 Stunde kam auf Nachfragen hin das Essen für 6 Personen, für die 7. und 8. Person kam das Essen nochmals 20 Minuten später, was eine Person auch dann dankend ablehnte. Mein Essen -Kalbsschnitzel -26 oder 28 Euro!- war bestenfalls lauwarm, genau wie die dazugehörigen Nudeln. Qualitativ war Essen bestenfalls Mittelmaß, wir waren letztes Jahr im da Vinci Essen, dass Essen war damals deutlich besser! Ich gebe 2 Punkte, da eine Mitarbeiter sich mehrfach entschuldige und eine Runde Espresso spendierte. Schade. Wir kommen nicht mehr wieder!

Das Essen ist vernünftig, ansonsten passt leider so gut wie nichts in diesem Restaurant: 35 Minuten Wartezeit auf unseren Tisch trotz Reservierung, keine Form von Entschuldigung für einen (vermutlich wegen den Nachfolgen der Corona-Krise) völlig überforderten Service, gigantische Wartezeiten auf‘s Essen, am Nachbartisch kam der Hauptgang vor der Vorspeise… Was den Fass den Boden ausschlägt, ist allerdings der Chef des Hauses, der seine Gäste beschimpft, ohne für die vielen Unzulänglichkeiten seines Ladens Verantwortung zu übernehmen. Hätte man uns zu Beginn des Restaurantbesuchs offen gesagt, dass das Restaurant einen Personalengpass hat, hätten wir sicherlich Verständnis gehabt. Der Service gab sein Bestes, die Scherben wieder aufzukehren, die der Chef hinterlassen hatte. Aber die maßregelnde, herablassende und uneinsichtige Art des Inhabers hat alles noch schlimmer gemacht…

Wir hatten ein super schönen Abend mit leckerem Wein und einem überragenden entrecote. Die anderen Gerichte die serviert wurden sahen auch alle sehr lecker aus. Bedienung auch sehr freundlich. Absolute Empfehlung

Leider trotz des guten Ambientes und der zügigen Bedienung nicht empfehlenswert: Wie soll man die übergroße Pizza essen ohne das dazugehörige scharfe Messer. Mir ist der Appetit schnell vergangen.
